Spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken were both excellent.

Diner Review №2

Came here with friends and family and overall it was a good experience. Food is usually good and you won't go bad with the majority of the menu. Just make sure to read the ingredients to make sure it's what you like. There is also a vegan menu if that's what floats your boat. My only disappointment is the food didn't seem to have the kick I was expecting. Maybe I missed seeing it on the menu of how spicy each pepper is but mine had two and seemed a bit lacking in the spice department. It tasted fine though.

We've been here a half dozen or more times and we'll probably come back in the future.

Diner Review №3

Food was a solid 4.0 in experience. I ordered the green curry for takeout, and was not disappointed. It’s not the best that I’ve had in the treasure Valley, and when I say the best, I’m not referring to any kind of upscale restaurant. This one just happened to be that the spices used were not as aromatic/flavorful as some of the other restaurants that I’ve been to. Could not be due to the time of the year with regards to seasonings available? Possibly. I just know that I am a regular for Thai cuisine and have been going to different restaurants lately on the Thai kick for the last three weeks ordering more or less the same 3 to 4 dishes, and felt that this one was rated just below some of the other places I’ve been to. The rice was good, but had some crunchy spots in it as if they were using up the last bit of what was in the cooker, but this personally doesn’t bother me as I do this in my own home, but I think some people might have an issue with this or perceive it as Potentially overcooked? I will more than likely come back in order to try their pad, Thai, and their pineapple fried rice as well as various teas. This was overall a very good experience, and the staff were fantastic, and the atmosphere was exceptional. Also notable for an honorable mention was that I called ahead of time, and my order was taken care of and ready for me quicker than they said it would be. I was given a 15 minute wait time and arrived around eight minutes into that, and within 30 seconds of me saying I had an order for [name] there was a lady bagging it up and bringing it to the counter. I also really enjoyed the experience of this place because I felt like I could truly tailor my order. There are times when I really don’t want to eat meat, but would like a solid protein and for this case, I was able to order a green curry, which came an ample amount of eggplant, green and red, bell pepper, and the soft tofu that I asked for. I was also extremely pleasantly surprised by their bamboo shoots. Most of the time I ask for these to be taken out, but I was in a rush and forgot to ask that, and after taking a first bite, I am not sure if they pickle them, or leach them somehow, but the normal pungent of them was taken out, and I was left with an amazing crunch, similar to that of a carrot, but very enjoyable for my experience. I would definitely recommend recommend this restaurant to friends and family who want a location that definitely provides a fun hole in the wall experience but but on the inside has some really good aesthetics!

Diner Review №6

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever tasted!

Diner Review №7

Ordered a vegetarian version of Pineapple fried rice with soft tofu and Lychee drink, through their website. All my alternation requests have been taken care of without a miss. Lots of good quality tofu pieces and cashes. Flavorful fried rice. The Lychee drink was excellent.

Diner Review №8

Super great food! It’s always nice finding a genuine Thai restaurant even in a place like Idaho. Food was super flavorful and the staff was super on top of their service. Didn’t even have to wait 10mins to get our food. Even if there was a wait on the food it would have been worth it! Great work!

Diner Review №10

Went peak-ish 7-8:40pm. Parking was easy and the restaurant had plenty of tables. Got seated right away. There was two large groups, so it took maybe 10 minutes for a server to arrive. But once we made the order, the service was quick, and the food was really good. For the basil chicken, the person I was substituted tofu for chicken, and this wasn’t a good choice. The tofu was flat and kind of soggy, but other than that all the food was very good and we ate everything, including the tofu. Really sweet serving staff.

Diner Review №11

Diner Review №12

I stopped for dinner while in town for work. Ordered the basil curry noodle with chicken. It was really good. Next time I’ll order it more spicy for sure. To top it off, I had the fried banana ice cream. That was a great way to finish the meal. I’ll be back!

Diner Review №13

I haven't been to every Thai restaurant in the Boise area, but I have been to several and this is by far the best Thai food! My favorite is the Bangkok Combo, but we also love their drunken noodles, Thai basil eggplant, sweet and sour, and pineapple fried rice. The servers are so friendly and efficient. We love to dine in the restaurant which has a great atmosphere, and we also love to get take-out! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Diner Review №14

Outstanding Thai food!! The place is clean, the portions are big, the food is authentic and delicious. BTW when the say level 5 is HOT 🔥 it is lol. This place is my go-to for Thai food. Definitely the best in town!

Diner Review №15

Great prices, excellent food, well portioned meals, and amazing, professional customer service! We will be back for sure!

Diner Review №16

Great thai food. Service is fast, no complaints 😀

Diner Review №17

Diner Review №18

Food was just ok. My vegetarian dish was not cut into mouth sized pieces. Also too spicy covering other flavors.

Diner Review №19

Nice place to go and eat authentic Thai food 😋 👌

Diner Review №20

Diner Review №21

Sorely disappointed lunch. Was bad...House special.was so far away from night food!!! What's up

Diner Review №22

This is not Crispy Duck Basil that everyone posts online

Diner Review №23

Best Thai food and flavor of Asian food in the entire city, perhaps the whole state of Idaho.

Try the pineapple curry! As well as the Wonton soup and crab rangoons!

The coffee and tea is great as well

Diner Review №24

excellent thai iced coffee
not overly sweet, rich and chocolatey like a mocha.

Diner Review №25

Best authentic Thai Food in town with amazing service!
This place rocks! Highly recommend.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

The place is lovely and so is the staff. The curries that we had were delicious and not over-priced.

Diner Review №28

Lovely Thai interior design, friendly service, but the Pad Thai I ordered was bland and forgettable. If I come back I will try something else.

Diner Review №29

I cannot say enough great things about Thai Cuisine. Their staff is always great, the ambiance is authentic, and the food each time is 10/10. Hot, quality food. I have the Tom Kai for the first time and I was in shock at how delicious that soup was. I am blown away and will be here quite often.

Diner Review №30

Visited on a Sunday afternoon;Welcoming staff and nice ambience.Am was attentive and checked on us a few times during our meal. The royal fried rice was flavourful and the crispy chicken was not oily. Authentic taste of the thai milk tea...Keep it up.

Diner Review №31

I really enjoyed the red curry with shrimp and chicken with a side order of rice. I like the stronger flavors of the red curry as a meal

Diner Review №32

Great experience

Diner Review №33

Good Thai food. Large portions. Quick service.

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

Good flavors.

Diner Review №36

Great experience! Every dish amazing! Avocado rolls bursting with fresh, healthy greens. Who needs a salad? Well, we did. We also ordered the papaya salad (just a bit too salty). Matcha green tea was a beautiful (and tasty) light shade of green with a touch of coconut cream. Garlic-Pepper entree did not disappoint. Great for garlic lovers. Seafood with pineapple & red curry was divine. Portions are generous. I'm not a fan of hot-spicy, but medium (level 2) was just right. Don't worry. Wish we had room to try dessert. To-go containers are cute, but need a handle or bag. Closes at 9:30, but actually kitchen closed at 9:15, so don't be late.
We will definitely be back to try all menu items!
.
7/29/2024 Update....
New owners, but Thai Cuisine continues to be an outstanding experience in authentic Thai cuisine. :) Highly recommended.
.
Pros - Beautiful dining room, but sure to look under the tablecloths to discover the intricately carved wood tables. Staff is friendly, fast and knowledgeable. Always willing to make your dining experience perfect. Just ask! I ordered an off-menu item; the fresh roll. It is a rice paper roll, with lots of green veggies, mint, and choice of protein. I chose tofu. It comes with 2 dipping sauces; sweet-sour & peanut, both are amazing! I also ordered the wonton soup. I was pleasantly amazed at the fresh ingredients, bright flavors, and deep-rich broth. I couldn't stop saying, "Mmm." Lol. The rolls and soup were more than enough to fill my stomach, but I still wanted more.
.
Cons - Not really enough parking, so get there early or plan to park/walk from the nearby shopping plaza. I personally have always found parking on site, but it could be an issue at times.
.
Again, it is highly recommended to visit again and again. They deserve the business and your support.

Been driving passed this restaurant for 10 years and never noticed it , after googleing thai food I found this place , gave it a try and I can guarantee you that this is the authentic thai food your looking for , it's test very delicious, very clean and very friendly staff
My only suggestion is that they NEED a bigger sign so people can notice it more , yes its on the main road but it's hardly noticeable

Diner Review №39

The best Thai hands down. Super authentic, fast and reliable.

Diner Review №43

Beautiful place to have dinner! Lovely people service was amazing, our food came out in less than 10 minutes and was absolutely amazing. Best thai food in boise!

Diner Review №44

All the dishes we got were very tasty! Pad thai was so authentic and delicious. It was my first time here, and I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №45

It was awesome! The drunkin noodles were so good.

Diner Review №46

Literally the best Thai food I’ve ever had! One of my favorite restaurants in Boise!

Diner Review №49

Attentive Service, Addicting Food, Amazing Atmosphere.

Diner Review №50

Delicious entrees. Generous portions.

Diner Review №51

The food was wonderful. The service was great and I’d highly recommend them. Don’t let the weeds in the flower bed scare you off. OK

Diner Review №52

I was a little nervous because the parking lot was nearly empty, but I was very happy with the food here! Large portions and deeply developed flavors. I am mostly leaving a review so I can remember which Thai restaurant to come back to the next time that I'm in town.

Diner Review №53

Food was good. I had Miso soup

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Very delicious food, great service and fantastic environment. Went there with some coworkers during lunch. The place was packed but the service and food delivery was fast. Flavorful and fresh food and surprisingly not pricy.
went again with a group of coworkers The place seemed a bit chaotic and the 2 waitresses were running around. To our surprise, the food arrived quick and was delicious as always.

Diner Review №56

Hands down, the best Thai food I have had in the USA, and I travel.

Clearly the food is amazing.

I ordered my usuals Tom Kha Gai soup and Red Curry Duck- superb. The chili oil they use in the soup is not normal- it is better than usual.

The staff is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is clean and quaint.

If I pass through again- I will make it a point to stop here again.

Diner Review №57

Really delicious, authentic food. Best pad Thai I've tried in the area. All the dishes we've tried are really good.

Diner Review №58

We ordered food to pick up. The food was terrific. We so appreciate that they said they do not use MSG. We called three other Thai restaurants in boise and they all use MSG.

Diner Review №59

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

Everyone else got their dinner way before I did. No kids menu. Service wasn't very good. When I asked where my food was I was told to wait it had to be deep fried. Prob wouldn't go back.

Diner Review №62

I'm pretty easy going on the 5 star reviews sometimes but a lot of these places definitely do earn it. Me and my girlfriend came in today and got the Basil Curry Noodle and the Woon Sen Pad Thai. The chef forgot the shrimp in my pad Thai but it still tasted really yummy. The real reason I'm dropping the 5 star on this restaurant is because of the service. When we asked for our check I decided to mention the lack of shrimp in my dish and simply asked for some steamed shrimp to take home on the side. The chef sent us out a to go box filled with a new Woon Sen Pad Thai instead and it really made me and my girlfriend smile seeing them go above and beyond to make us a new dish when I only asked for some shrimp!!

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №64

So good! I crave Thai food sometimes. I love the Pad Thai, and for dessert, we had the Mango Sticky Rice. Yummy. I would highly recommend it. They will make it as spicy as you want or not.

Diner Review №65

Highly recommend. It was the best Thai meal we've ever eaten in Boise in the last 20 years! Will be back :-)

Diner Review №66

So delicious. I pretty much always get the pad Thai. I recently tried the mango sticky rice and it was heaven.

Diner Review №67

One of my favorite places to get something delicious. If I'm going with someone, it's a nice place to eat at. Otherwise I order pickup to take home and it's wonderful.

Diner Review №68

this place is legit the best, service is always amazing, the people are so friendly, sweet, and welcoming. plus the food is top tier, def my favorite spot!

Diner Review №69

Very tasty and clean. Great service friendly staff . A little spendy but definitely not disappointed

Diner Review №70

Best Thai food in town, hands down! Exceptional service with a smile and very clean dining room.

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

After driving past this place for years I finally decided to stop in and try it. Man, I wish I would have done that years ago- what a gem! The service was great, the food was amazing and came out lightning fast, and the prices were quite reasonable. I'm definitely going pack next time I get a craving for Thai.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

I absolutely love this place. I've been going here since I was 16 or 17. Fantastic food, great atmosphere... so worth it.

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Something smells funky in there, and we all ended up a little sick. The service was good though.

Diner Review №80

We had come here before with great food and fast timing so I do hate to leave this review, but waiting an hour and a half for a few dishes is just unacceptable. They were pretty busy but that doesn’t give them an excuse to take that long to prepare food. If you really can’t get food out in an hour, tell people that you can’t take anymore customers right now, or at least warn them of the wait time. Some other customers that had gotten there way after us we’re getting their food before we did and that sure did not help. On top of waiting for what felt like forever, one of our dishes was so cold, we had to send it back. Once we got that dish, it didn’t have any chicken in it! Turns out they messed that one up too! Customer service was fine but we were all hungry and over the wait. The food was good but not outstanding. Unless you want your dinner to last over two hours, I would stay away from this place.

Diner Review №81

Great food and service. We walked in right before they got their dinner rush - mainly large parties too. The two front of the house guys did a fantastic job.

Diner Review №82

The red curry is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Great service, always a nice experience here.

Diner Review №83

Absolutely fantastic! Easily the best Thai food I've had in ID, possibly outside of Thailand. The customer service is fantastic, we ordered 3 different Tom Kha soups, one with shrimp, chicken and duck. The duck wasn't even on the menu, but the staff went and checked and said they would accommodate. I love spicy food so I asked for the spice rack, adding the spices to the Tom Kha made it soo great. Also the price is quite cheap, especially for the amount of food you get. The first time we went was 25 minutes before closing, and they never mentioned a word about it and treated us amazing, we ended up leaving about 5-10 minutes after closing and never felt rushed... 10/10, highly recommend.

Diner Review №84

Great food and customer service! I will be back!

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

Food was good. Service was rushed even though it wasn't super busy. The place was really cold... it's hard to enjoy the experience when it's cold.

Diner Review №87

Very strong flavor! Very delicious! I got the Papaya salad and Panang Curry with fried tofu. Only wish they had given me more rice! 🍚

Diner Review №88

My mouth is so happy. I love curry and Thai Cuisine does it right! This may be the best red curry I have ever had. I was able to try the red curry, green curry, mango curry, and panang curry and they were all excellent. I don’t think I’ll be able to drive past Boise without stopping. The service was great. I love the decor.

Diner Review №89

Great Food, Service and prices. 😋

Diner Review №90

The inside of this restaurant is a work of art! I had one of the chefs specials and it was the best Asian food I can ever remember eating. I will go back!
We were three older ladies wanting to visit and ended up staying most of three hours. Never did they make us feel unwanted or attempted to hurry us. So polite and inviting a place is hard to find.
The wooden tables are chairs are all carved and the decorations exquisite. You've got to try it yourself!

Diner Review №91

Awesome food. Awesome price. Everything is awesome.

Diner Review №92

Great Thai food at great prices! The spicy crispy duck basil was delicious.

Diner Review №93

The food was amazing. I really enjoy when the spice is right. I asked for 5 and was very happy. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful.

Diner Review №94

Great entrees, spring rolls not the best I've had.

The spicy Thai basil chicken was a wonderful flavor bomb, I couldn't get enough. The Thai iced coffee was perfect. However, the spring rolls weren't in balance, with a ton of lettuce and no peanut sauce to cover up the abundance of lettuce.

Service was good, and the inside of the building is very nice (outside pretty nondescript).

I'd definitely eat here again, but I would likely pass on the rolls.

Diner Review №95

We loved this spot! Staff were friendly, food came out in a decent time and was fresh and so delicious! Their food brought me back to life :)

Diner Review №96

Alright, let me spill the tea about this Thai spot I checked out. So, picture this—I dived into their Basil Chicken Fried Rice, and boy, oh boy, that spice level 4 was just the right kind of kick I needed. The basil flavor was so on point, I couldn't help but dig in for more. Then there was the Thai Fried Rice, a classic that just hit the spot. Simple, delicious, and totally satisfying.

Now, about the Pad Thai—I'm not much of a sweet fan, so it was a bit meh for me. But hey, the kiddos in our crew seemed to gobble it up, so it's a win for the little ones. As for the Pineapple Fried Rice, it had this strong punch of uncooked vibes, probably from the ginger powder. Might be someone's jam, but it didn't quite do it for me.

The service was A+. Our server had this perpetual smile and was lightning-quick with whatever we needed. I gotta give it to him for thinking ahead with those sharing plates for the kids. Really made the whole experience hassle-free.

The place had this nicely located along Overland Road, and you could tell the new management was all about making you feel at home. Plus, the bill wasn't a wallet killer. For the portions we got, it was a bang for our buck.

Diner Review №97

Delicious! We love the lettuce wraps, cha gio egg rolls, and the Pho. Many other great items on the menu.

Diner Review №98

Where to start? For the price their pad thai is a ripoff. Just noodles and meat with a little ground peanut and a tiny bit of sprouts. No green onion or bits of tofu. No flavor and the chicken was tough and overcooked.
Crying Tiger. I was so excited because it's usually my favorite dish.
Usually.
This meat was so tough and dry. The crying tiger sauce was very thick and dry and meh.

Bummer.

Diner Review №99

Friendly wait staff. Clean, well kept, and interesting decor. Food was very well prepared and spiciness can be modified when placing some orders. Parking was easy. Restroom clean. Both in-person dining and DoorDash were available on the night we went.

Diner Review №103

Best Thai food in town!!!!!! We love to eat dinner there!!!!

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

By far the best Thai food I have had in Boise.

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Great food! But the service is really slow , if you need to get a quick meal maybe don't come here. The restaurant wasn't even full. Food was amazing tho!

Diner Review №108

Diner Review №109

Very nice place and the PadTi with shrimp was great. What’s you expect. Very tasty! The service was great also!

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

I'm not a big fan of Thai food but I enjoyed their sweet and sour chicken. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Diner Review №113

The decor is beautiful everywhere you look and the food was still steaming when they brought it out. The food tasted and looked amazing. i have nothing negative to say, i would definitely recommend this place.

Diner Review №114

We’ve been going here for 10 years and loved it. Tried it again last night for the first time under new owners. It was amazing. Fresh, spiced perfectly, and beautifully packaged. Still one of our favorite restaurants in the valley. Really appreciate the addition of Ubereats/Door Dash to their service. The ONLY thing we miss are the fresh rolls on the pick-up menu. But, tried some new items, like the summer Singha salad, and now have a phenomenal new fav. Bravo Thai Cuisine!

Diner Review №115

Lovvvvved it, taste, quality was outstanding!!! Going back again for sure!

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

The menu boasted an impressive array of authentic Thai dishes, and each dish I tried surpassed my expectations. The flavors were vibrant, the presentation was visually stunning, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the culinary experience was truly commendable.

Diner Review №118

We were just driving through town and decided to stop and eat here. Absolutely phenomenal food! Huge portions and tastes fresh. I've had a lot of different Thai food but this is hands down the best I've ever had!

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Diner Review №121

I am really happy to see your lunch special back. The Pad Thai was delicious on our visit today. Service was also excellent

Diner Review №122

We’ve always loved everything about this place, Especially the food!!!! Dine in or take out they NEVER disappoint. It’s authentic Thai cuisine and Not Thai junk food. Tastes Amazing!!!! Surpasses all other Thai by far. If you don’t go here you are missing out!!

Diner Review №123

I was able to order something not on the menu in Thai. and it tasted just how I remember it from Thailand.

Diner Review №124

Great food and the server was prompt and helpful. Don't let the run-down look outside deter you - it's worth stopping in.

Diner Review №125

Diner Review №126

Great Thai food served with a smile. Today I had the Spicy Eggplant, and it was delicious! I haven’t had anything here that is not tasty and attractively served. Staff are sooo nice!

Diner Review №127

Please update your hours. I wasted my time. Mon 1pm it's closed.

Diner Review №128

Thai Cuisine has great food always, it's a favorite for the family.

Diner Review №129

Gorgeous and yummy food!

Diner Review №130

New management!! Different chef, food good but not the Thai I am used to. Not mant veggies and sauces are bland. Not impressed at all.

Diner Review №131

It was not what I was hoping for, but it was my first try at Thai.

Diner Review №132

I ordered a to go order. I get there and was told they didn't have it. After back and forth for a few minutes. They said it was under a different name. I can assure you I gave them my name. I order the pineapple rice. Not flavorful at all. The Rangoon however was the best I've ever had.

Diner Review №133

I don't know why you changed the Mongolian beef. It was perfect. Now it's a large plate of meat with a vegetable or two.

Diner Review №134

I've been going here for years and it is always a good experience.

Diner Review №135

I would give it a 4 stars if I was checked up upon during my meal or if the portion of soup was comparable to the cost. Very pricey for the portion sizes. The mixed veggies were good but not spicy enough. I ordered medium and go higher if I had known. Nice atmosphere and I was comfortable with the seating but no one came to check how I’m doing during my meal just get my order, pay check and deliver spicy hot sauce which are peppers that I asked for. Rice is on dry side so use sauce to soften it up.

Diner Review №136

Delicious food, prompt and attentive service.

Diner Review №137

I ordered a pad Thai and they gave me noodles with NO sauce. Literally dry noodles I payed $16 for. I really wanted to like this place, I am disappointed!

Diner Review №138

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

This is the best Thailand food I've found in Boise. My wife and I eat here often and we've never had anything we didn't like. Everything we've tried has ranged from good to excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, although sometimes overtaxed during the prime time rush for dinner, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. (Maybe make a reservation for those times, otherwise they are seldom needed.) The decor is nicely done with the big wooden elephant mural a favorite of the children.

I recommend the Caramelized Ginger, the Spicy Basil, any of their curries, the Chicken Golek, the Galanga and Coconut Chicken Soup (AKA Tom kha gai), and their Pad Thai or their other noodle dishes. There are plenty of vegetarian options too.

The lunch special is a great way to get familiar with their food at a reduced cost, although with only a subset of the dinner menu. (We love the soup and salad that come with the lunch special.)

Update: Thai Cuisine is under new management and will a somewhat changed menu.

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

Delishous. Thai food. Friendly staff. TX

Diner Review №143

A friend of mine recommended Thai Cuisine when I asked him about great Thai food in or around the Boise downtown. Seven minutes from the airport and close to Overland Park Cinemas, it’s perfectly located near multiple theaters, so it’s a great spot for good Thai food after flying in from wherever or a nice informal dinner date before a movie. We all came hungry, left satisfied and have found a new favorite restaurant. We ordered the cream cheese rangoon and spring rolls for starters, chicken pad Thai, beef pad Thai, Thai fried rice and Sweet and Sour Pork. We had people in our group that said the rangoon was the best they had ever had, but each dish was very good and stood out for different reasons. The biggest surprise was the Sweet and Sour Chicken, because when it arrived, it was not what we expected. It was not breaded, not deep fried, and not served with thick syrupy sauce. However, it just may be the best Sweet and Sour Chicken I’ve ever had. I don’t want to give it all away, so you’ll just have to eat in or get some takeout and try it for yourself.

Diner Review №144

New ownership! Spotless! Food is truly amazing and we are so excited about the new chef, and the attention to details! We have visited twice now and it keeps getting better. Red Curry, Pad Thai excellent as was the Calamari. New plates and even fancy napkins.

Diner Review №145

Phenomenal host made sure we were taken care of even when they were slammed food was worth the wait though 💯%

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

Terrible service, food was meh at best. We ordered a soup and two pad Thai(s) and everyone around us got their food but us. We ended up waiting 50 minutes, I was about to walk out. How horrible to prioritize to-go orders for your eta in guests. I’ll never come back here. Not only that, but they only brought one pad Thai so I ended up waiting longer than 50 minutes.

Diner Review №148

Under new management. Went here last year and it was delicious! I had been craving it so I ordered today and was not impressed. The pad see ew was bland, the noodles were “al dente”, and the service was nothing special.

Diner Review №149

Been here a bunch of times but now they are under new management. Well not wildly expensive, the prices seem to have gone up and they got rid of my favorite dish. The menu is much more limited than it was and I wasn't super impressed with the drunken noodles. They were fine but they were nothing special. The interior is super cute but a little bit old. There's damage on most of the bench seats, just from having been used so much over the years. The service was great as always though and everyone was attentive and friendly. There were no insane wait times.

Diner Review №150

Best Thai food in Boise. The Thai Tea is also among the best in boise. And 5/5 for the wait staff. Great place to eat.

Diner Review №151

This place is incredible. Best in the valley in my opinion.

Diner Review №152

The food is really good, the design is very beautiful, the bathroom is very clean, and the service is great😄

Diner Review №153

If I could give this a zero I would. Charb and her husband owned this restaurant for the last 19 years we've been going. It was sold late last year which i didn't know and the new owner is a very, rude, aggressive, angry man! Showed up 45 minutes before the close of lunch and was told no service. When I asked to say hello to Charb, he blurted expletives at me while backing me out of the restaurant and yelling to get out, get out! I hope karma had paid him a visit and that's the reason for the closure! Just know this isn't the same owner that has served Boise so well over the last 20 years! Miss you Charb and best wishes on retirement!

Diner Review №154

Hadn't been here in a while and shame on me! Ordered the papaya salad and the salmon special. The salad was amazing, of course, but the salmon was, without reservation, the most well prepared I've ever had. Service was wonderful as always!

Very bad service. Rude host.

Diner Review №157

Called them 10+ times throughout the entire day and no one ever answered. This was during the working hours posted on their website & Google. There was no common business opening message, just constant ringing. Couldn't make a reservation, so I had to go somewhere that actually answered their phone.

Take out for two arrived with no rice so after $60, I had to make rice so we could eat our meal. Vegetable spring rolls looked old and tasted ok but were cold. Avocado roll was lettuce with a hint of avocado- nothing like the photo on the menu. Thank goodness the hoisin they sent to dip it in was good. My dish was a handful of spinach and 4 large pieces of broccoli in a peanut sauce that was so sweet it was barely edible and not enjoyable at all. I was really shocked by the quality of the food for the money we paid. We will never eat here again

Diner Review №159

Drunken noodles and cashew chicken were delish!

Diner Review №160

We had appetizers. Satay chicken and veggies rollups

Diner Review №161

Delicious authentic Thai! The quality of food was so rewarding! But the customer service was even better! Made the dining out a truly worthwhile experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Diner Review №162

Great service, amazing tasting food. Definitely will be going again.

Diner Review №163

Showed up 20 minutes before the close time and we were turned away. Horrible service

Diner Review №164

Delicious food! The service was slow but 100% worth the wait!

Diner Review №165

If I could give less than 1 Star I would. We have been going to Thai Cuisine for years now but after our most recent experience I will never visit this establishment again.

Our party of 6 went there for lunch. Not only were our dishes brought out one by one 10 minutes apart. Despite reminding the staff twice- I was the last one to be served 60 minutes after I had placed my order. By then everyone in my party was already finished with their food. What is the point of going out to eat if you are going to be served serially 10-15 minutes apart. Other tables that arrived later were served before us even though our dishes were straightforward.

When I pointed this out to the server he said he could take my food back to the kitchen and cancel my order! The correct response would have been to take my food off the ticket.

When our bill finally arrived they had already added 18% gratuity to the bill. When I politely pointed out that this is not done for parties smaller than 8, the server made a face but made no effort to correct the bill.

While I understand things are tough in the restaurant business, mistreatment of you customers is never acceptable.

We make it a point to patronize locally owned restaurants and businesses, but I will not be taking my business to Thai Cuisine again. There are many other deserving establishments in town that are far more appreciative of their customers.

Atrocious service and behavior!

Was a great Christmas lunch, good service for 6, and food was on point. The flavor was good, and gluten-free was not an issue. There were lots of choices with generous portions drinks and desserts were well balanced

My fiancé and I just had our baby boy on 12/12 and of course people wanted to bring us food. A few friends asked if we wanted Thai food. I haven’t eaten Thai food in the valley for about 10
Years because you usually go to hole in the wall and get food poisoning or it just isn’t great.

This Thai food was dang near perfect. We got a green and yellow curry, they were flavorful, the right amount of spice, and even the rice I could tell was good quality. The only bad note I would say is the green curry was chock full of bamboo and barley anything else, but it was still so tasty I barely cared. This place is fantastic and we will be there again soon with our little one.

Diner Review №168

Least attentive waiter
Even after asking and confirming 3 times , spice/hotness level was not what we asked . We had asked for very hot and it was mild and when told was given just hot sauce
Vegetarian soup and red curry was mostly hot water with just tofu floating

Ruined the evening with tasteless food

The menu has changed. They no longer have the Indochine (chicken and mango) salad I loved. Food is still very good. The restaurant was cold but they were doing a lot of take out orders. Good news, you can order Thai food with no heat!

Yellow chix curry
Seafood red curry
All yummy

Diner Review №174

The food is still delicious. I have been addicted to the Red Curry since they opened. It appears that there is new management. I am not impressed. The dining room was cold. I kept my coat on through dinner. My meal came out at least 15 minutes before my husband's meal.

Diner Review №175

We had a very unique, submersion into this food and culture. Love this place everytime.
Such a treat, to my family

Phenomenal food consistently, wonderful staff, and beautiful ambiance. Some of the best dining around.

Not the friendliest service, but pretty quick. The food was good. The only thing I wish is that they would let me rate my spice level. They did not give me the option and the spice level was high for me.

Travelling through, saw the reviews. Very good meal. Had Chicken Curry and Honey Walnut Shrimp. The curry was mild and good, the Shrimp were fabulous with roasted Pecans rather than Walnuts, pineapple and served in a very attractive puffed rice bowl.

Diner Review №182

I love Pad Woon Sen noodles and they make it well here. Staff is kind and friendly. Love that I can order ahead and pick up when necessary.

We’ve eaten a lot of Thai food, including in Thailand, and, having just moved to Boise, were looking forward to sampling Boise’s offerings. Our experience here was less than inspiring, though perhaps on a different night we may have been happier. As it was, we ordered fish cakes as an appetizer; we waited quite awhile and then our entrees arrived. We were assured the appetizer was on its way, only to be told a few minutes later that they were out of fish cakes.
Our entrees (duck and Panang curries); however my Panang wasn’t very Panang-ish. I love having the characteristic chopped peanuts but detected no peanuts. I was told that they were indeed in there but ground very finely. And the curry itself was not quite how I’m used to Panang tasting. My husband’s duck curry wasn’t disappointing, but not outstanding.
The final disappointment was that the restaurant was also out of mango sticky rice which we had been looking forward to…
I think we’ll try another Thai establishment next time.

I've been coming here for lunch for years. Good food consistently.
Visited today and the menu had changed. No lunch specials and was told it was under a new manager.
Be prepared to pay dinner prices at lunch.
Still great food though

Diner Review №185

Overall pretty good. Pad Thai was very good, flavorful. Edamame wasnt steamed as much as it should be. Fish cakes are a little rubbery. Cucumber salad pass. Padang curry was good but it was one note - coconut. It needed its flavors to develop more. Jasmine rice cooked perfect. Fried spring rolls crispy outside a little to overcooked inside. Chili sauce condiment was good. A tad higher priced than most Thai places we’ve eaten at for many years in phoenix

Diner Review №186

Food is fresh! I love that "medium spicy" is not too spicy, so that must mean American medium, not Thai medium. I always get the papaya (green) salad as it is so tart, crunchy and spicy! It is so easy to be vegetarian here, as almost all dishes can sub tofu for the meat.

Diner Review №187

I’ve eaten here before and quite enjoyed it. Tonight, however, was different. The Pad Thai presentation was great, but the noodles were stuck together and there wasn’t much chicken. The spice level was definitely on point! Service wasn’t what I’m used to, I dined in and the restaurant was about 75% capacity and there didn’t seem to be many to-go orders, so I can’t decide what was up. Hopefully it was a one-off. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully for a better experience!

Diner Review №188

The pad thai noodles were good and the fresh rolls were great. Their new dish "Tod Mun" was terrible. Server did a good job, management not good. We didn't need the dish and returned it. They would not take it off our bill- in fact they ignored us when we tried to discuss it with them.

Diner Review №189

Don't order the tod mun. It's inedible. We took one bite. They didn't even offer to take it off our bill. When I mentioned it, they just ignored us. We will never go back.

I'm editing my old review which complained a bit about the wait times due to understaffing. This is the best Thai in Boise, worth waiting every minute.

Diner Review №193

Awesome food, great people

Diner Review №194

Kuddos to this place for working hard to stay open even though they are understaffed. My 3 stars come from the portion size. I love Thai food and usually order a curry for lunch, taking half home in a carry-out for dinner. Judging by the price, I expected the same, but received a portion so small it barely satisfied me for lunch. Flavor was good, value was poor.

Diner Review №195

The food was good. Unfortunately due to short staffing the wait time was very long. Something that is likely temporary. 4 stars on the food and overworked staff.

Diner Review №197

Waited seated almost an hour while numerous food app meals went out the door for DoorDash and UberEats. No one addressed us about our food until finally someone came over to tell us the girl handling appetizers is behind and are we OK with our entrees coming out first. We cancel our appetizers and they bring out our entrees. (I wonder how long they were sitting there dying on the pass...) Well, 2 of them. They never put in our third entree. For the 3rd person (me) at the table. They are taking on more delivery orders than their kitchen can handle. It's unfortunate because the food at least looks good.

Note: this review is entirely on service since I was never able to taste any food.

Diner Review №198

Food was good, service was excellent!

Diner Review №199

Crazy long wait times!! I would have left if It was my own food but i had to stay because I was working for UberEats.. Get it together people !
