S&P has set the bar high, serving up the best authentic Thai food at reasonably priced found on Oahu. Service was exceptional and the food ordered were so delicious! We really enjoyed our visit and good vibes!

Asked for Pad Thai with no tofu and it was still added, so sad about that because this isn’t the first time and one of the people who wanted pad Thai can not eat tofu. The spicy basil was very dry absolutely no juice for me to dip the sticky rice. This use to be one of my favorite stops for lunch but lately they have been very inconsistent.

I came here back in 2018 and I'm pleased to see it's still open. Small operation, so it takes a minute if you go between noon and 1. However absolutely great Thai food! Parking is a bit tricky as it is anywhere on Oahu. It's also near some empty lot which attracts trash so just be aware.

I love curry and their pineapple curry is bomb. I was a bit surprised to see they put glass noodles kn theirs. I ordered a side of rice and a Thai coffee which completed the experience. Great curry, coffee, and prices!

Only complaint is that they are only open for lunch during the week! Wish they would be open for dinner or at least on the weekend. The food is great and 100% authentic. Nice small menu, but they have all of the typical thai dishes and different spice levels. Everything we had was great. It's also a really convenient option if you are looking to get lunch on Fort Shafter and don't want subway. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the side gate

Loved this place. Friendly staff, authentic Thai food, and some nice people in the restaurant to chat with. The chicken was so moist and not over cooked. Got Thai hot and unfortunately it wasn’t that spicy, but that’s my only complaint (and it’s not a big one because they gave us some sambal to add more heat if we wanted). This place was such a deal too for Hawai’i. Not paying an arm and a leg for a delicious meal was refreshing. If I’m ever back in Honolulu, I’ll be hitting this place up again!

FOOD: Fantastic dish. Order s&p curry and steamed rice. Asked for thai hot and it was decently spicy: Not crazy hot but burning hot. Good curry. Watery sauce but 90% of the curry sauce I tried were watery so still ok.
LOCATION: Close to Shafter and relatively easy to find. No designated parking so find your own spot.
PRICE: $18 for the curry, rice and Pepsi. I'd say average.
SERVICE: friendly but they are short staff.

BESTTTTTTT Thai food on the island 🏝️🤙 if your close by to them YOU MUST TRY!!! It’s THAT Beef Fried Rice, Mild, with sweet chili sauce 😋

This plate is amazing! We’ve been coming here since 2016. They catered an event for us and it was amazing. Everyone there is just good people. Highly recommend.

Great lunch options near Fort shafter. Foods taste so good at a very reasonable price around $13. Picked up Pad Thai and Panang curry. Highly recommend both!

Delicious food at very reasonable price! Wide menu with lots of choices. We went as a group and everyone was beyond happy with their food. Workers are friendly and nice. Parking is a bit tight but that is about it! As of 30MAR22 no masks are required...but you never know when that might change.

Update as of 30JUNE22: No masks, prices are unchanged and the food is still top notch. Spring rolls and fresh rolls are fantastic. Best fried rice in the world.

Update as of 13SEPT23: Still open and serving the best fried rice on island. Highly recommend, will definitely be going back.

The best green curry ever!

My husband was very very pleased to go here and told his friends about this place.

The food is delicious and comes in generous portions. I will be eating here again. I had the pineapple chicken curry, shrimp fried rice, and papaya salad and I would recommend any of them.

Spicy or not. Food is supposed to have flavor, otherwise you should rethink how you've been cooking food or if should to continue Chef at all. Spice should never be used to mask flavor in a dish unless the dish is bad and that is all you have to eat. With that said...this's the first time in my 40+ years on this earth that I had food that was on the high rungs of spicy and still had flavor. It was the best Spicy Dish I've ever had in my life and the spicy taste actually packed a punch. The Chef verified that we were okay to continue eating the food based on the believed intensity of the spiciness it was prepared with which was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food for Lunch.

There's no secret spot here. This place has good Thai food and the number of patrons tells that story. Portions are healthy. The place was packed at lunch. So we waited a while. Entrees we about $14 each. Parking was a challenge. Pics next time.

Good Thai food.

Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had. They were able to make a couple dishes vegan for us and they were still SO flavorful, it was almost unbelievable.

I came for the wings and they were good.

My food came out Luke warm after a long wait. Appetizers and mains all came out together which didn’t make sense and made the food get even colder. Good value and average taste. I wouldn’t come back unless for take out.

Absolutely amazing!!! My wife got the mixed veggies stir fry. She's is vegan and LOVED it. I ordered the beef fried rice 🤤 DELICIOUS!!!! I forgot to take a picture, it was so good!! Full of flavor and some of the best fried rice I've ever eaten! We will absolutely be coming back

I travel often for work. October takes me to Oahu so I can experience this restaurant again.

I have eaten at S&P kitchen twice, the Thai food is very authentic. They can make the food mild or Thai hot, we ate family style, and absolutely loved it. The Thai fried rice was excellent. The curry is delicious, and it's a quiet venue, not very crowded. Parking is on the street or in the back. They didn't rush the meal, and they ensured we were served in the most professional fashion. Highly rate this place!

This restaurant is one of those great "hole-in-the-wall" places that has great food, friendly service, all at a great price. I've never ordered something that I didn't like here. The fact that it is a Thai restaurant owned and operated by Thai people makes the experience that much better. Did I mention that the prices are reasonable?

I cannot stress to you how much you should try S & P Kitchen!! They are so kind, good, and quick. I ordered food for my whole office and Bitesquad (the ordering service) wasn't working. I called them to confirm the order for 15 people, and they hadn't received it. They let me place an order over the phone, then had it ready unbelievably fast. They are such nice people that make such good food.

The food is excellent! Get the pineapple fried rice. My family stopped here for lunch on the way to the Polynesian Cultural Center, it's conveniently located right off the highway. I parked across the street next to a park and walked over. The surrounding area is industrial.

I recommend their drunken noodles and their curries. If you live close by, try to call ahead of time and just pick up your order. Parking can be tough specially during lunch hours. They are open only until 2:00pm. Glad this place is close to our house and to my work.

The best Thai food outside of Thailand! The pineapple chicken fried rice is awesome, and so is the pineapple chicken curry. You definitely ought to try this place if you are visiting. Only open for lunch, so plan ahead!

I love when you stumble upon those completely unassuming hole-in-the-wall establishments with expectations that match its plain and/or shabby exterior and you find that inside your expectations are exceeded. If you judge S&P on its exterior then you're missing out on ono Thai grinds at really fair prices and super friendly service. And it seems they've recently opened for dinner, too.

This place is only a few min walk outside the back gate of Fort Shafter, and it is a hidden gem for thai food on oahu. They have never disappointed me on their food or service

Lunch only, no evening hours this place stays afloat by its catering, according to the lady at the counter. Tidy and welcoming inside, have eaten here 4 times, always tasty. Limited hours, or I would eat here very often. Never seen more than 3 other people inside, probably because of the unattractive neighborhood it's in. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you're in the area I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
