I had the pleasure of dining at the Rasa Sayang Restaurant recently, and I must say that it was a decent spot for Malaysian cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive, which was a plus. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than I expected, but this was still a good spot for the area. My favorite dish was the Salt and Pepper Shrimp which I thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Malaysian meal.

Hidden gem! First time in Rasa Sayang and YOU HAVE TO TRY! A well maintained and clean place that serves exceptional Indonesian/Malaysian dishes with great fusion of flavor and spice. Reasonably priced and good sharing portions. Service was top notch with extremely friendly and attentive staff. Very happy to have found a place that can satisfy my Southeast Asian food cravings.

On a Wed lunch time, there were not many customers there. We had their lunch special ($12.95), 3 different type of entrees to choose from.

Our server was very friendly, but seemed to spend a lot of time in the kitchen/inside area (maybe to help out the kitchen operations), so sometimes it would be a bit hard to find him. But he did check in with us a few times to ensure we have everything we need.

Food/taste are 5*, from the house spring rolls, to the soup, to the 3 different entrees we tried! 10/10 would recommend Rasa Sayang to anyone craving Indonesian food!

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. My party of 6 came on a Thursday night, so it wasn’t busy and the food came out quickly. We ordered many Indonesian and Thai dishes and all of them had great flavors and presentation. Among the 6 of us, we shared 3 appetizers and 4 entrees and still left with a lot of leftovers (the portions are huge!!)

I came here last night one hour before they closed and luckily they were able to serve us. Overall had an outstanding experience, food was very well done and service was really good! Was very impressed with the menu selection, it was very hard for me to make a decision on what I wanted to eat. Since this was my first time here I decided to go with something simple I ordered crab ragoons and calamari for appetizers. I ordered general Tao chicken with shrimp fried rice and my partner had mango chicken with white rice. The food was very flavorful and I can see the inspiration for all the different types of cuisine they offered. I’ll definitely be back to try more, I didn’t order dessert but there selection looked very promising.

I drive from McDonough, Ga. to order their shrimp fried rice with extra vegetables. I am never disappointed. Their food has been consistently excellent. They are very friendly and food is ready in a timely manner. I have never dined in. But I will one day. The environment looks inviting. This by far my favorite Asian restaurant.

Wonderful. The fried rice, to start, is great! The “breath of the wok” is captured in the dish. Since Malaysia takes so many cuisines from all of Asia, there are so many great choices, familiar and not so familiar. Wonderful!

Between the annoying AI phone assistant and not being able to place a pickup order without using an app congrats on turning a customer into a negative review. How frustrating, I just wanted some overpriced sesame chicken...

Having lived in Singapore for 6 years we were excited to find this restaurant on a visit to Atlanta. The food was very tasty and authentic. Singapore noodles were spicy and the best I've tasted outside of Singapore. The kweyteaow was also spicy and tasty, although less saucy than we remember. The restaurant was very quiet but the decor was tasteful and calming. Would highly recommend.

The BEST hot sour soup I have ever had. I had 3 bowls, and I never eat more than half a bowl.

Today was my first time at Rasa Sayang and let me just tell you that I was over the moon with everything I had to eat. So today my friend and I were on the hunt for a new restaurant to try when a quick goole search brought up Rasa Sayang I had never heard of this restaurant before so we made the trip to see what they had to offer and let me just say we were pleased. The server recommend a sticky rice chicken roll and it was so flavorful followed by some garlic parm fries and they were so good I eat all of them. We also asked our server his recommendation for our entries he suggested two noodle dishes and if I could remember the names I would put them up but I can't remember but let me just tell you they were so full of flavor and the spice was on point. Before I forget to mention the restaurant itself is on the small side but it's so delicious that I would bring my whole family there and all of my friends as well because I know the food is out of this world and everyone would find something to eat . The price overall is amazing for the portions of the food your definitely get the bang for your buck here. We would a million percent go back and eat there no question asked they are amazing.

Dead quiet and was only 1 of 3 customers at lunch. Portion was very small. Flavor and food was good but served like a soup. Service was so so and they didn't have my 1st 2 choices either. I asked for change and the waiter left me only a $10 and $1 bill to tip them for a $15 check ..

My second time picking up for lunch, and let me just say this, the rest of my day is made - The flavor profiles are out of this 🌎 I got the Kari Mie and Chicken Lettuce Wraps - I’m a spice guy and I got the medium spice level and it was perfect - Also great prices and plenty to eat - I’ll be back for dinner 😁

I have eaten here 3 or 4 times in the last few months. The food is fantastic- I would say their Thai food is better than most Thai restaurants! I had everything from Pad Woon Sen, Ginger Chicken etc and it's all been very good! Their house spring rolls are great. They make their own hot sauce in house - great! The wonton soup is a big step above any I've ever had. You can tell the chef loves food and loves to cook! Try this place!!

They forgot my rice with my to go order. I didn’t notice until I was home and didn’t want to drive back. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was ample portions and tasty. I will give them another chance because mistakes happen; we’re only human. I will probably dine in though.

If you order delivery do it through the actual apps, I ordered through clover storefront and was pretty much forced to order three times. The app itself said the purchase was not going through and to try a different card, then boom I get 3 different text messages with different order numbers. Tried calling to cancel and they only cancelled one. I feel like I’ve been pocketed and played for a fool. Never again I tell ya.

Nice ambience. Veeeery friendly service. The server was extremely nice and informed me exactly which options were strictly vegetarian. I loved that. He was completely transparent about which food options had fish sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp sauce etc. I went with the Singaporean noodles with veggies and it was yummmm.

The place was nice and clean, the location was great, right of 400, but unfortunately the food was not good, my portion looked like I ordered from the kids menu and my daughters vegetables where mostly raw, as if they were cooked very rushed.
To make this even worse we were there after lunch rush so we were the only customers.
Not going back there ever, there’s no excuse when you only have 2 people to feed.

I ordered delivery through clover and it is the wrong food with the wrong persons name on it. The driver was from door dash and said I had to call them. I called door dash but they can’t do anything because they say I ordered it through the restaurant. I called the restaurant several times but they don’t answer their phone because they have an AI assistant and no human. I tried chat but no response. So I spent a bunch of delivery fees and tips for nothing. My husband just got in the car to drive there an hour after we wanted our food. So annoying. We used to love them but I wouldn’t order for delivery again. Update: The restaurant credited our order.

Very frustrating that nearly every dish (except for 2 entree items) has a base that comes pre-made with either shrimp paste or fish sauce - not friendly for vegetarians / vegans at all - and concerning that things are not quite as “fresh” here. Additionally, I was shocked that the roti canai appetizer comes with 1 small roti and a splash of curry for 6 DOLLARS! We won’t be returning and will instead be going to the many other places that are happy to omit ingredients or have plenty of options for those that don’t consume animal products, not to mention food that just tastes better.

I ordered the Mongolian Triple thru our delivery service at the office. Outstanding. Will definitely eat here again.

Excellent service and fabulous food with attention to detail.

My husband and I have lived here for years, and boy are we kicking ourselves for waiting this long to try Rasa Sayang. The staff is friendly and patient with any questions you may have. Don't skip out on the Chicken Satay, oh my GOSH it is delicious. Juicy, tender chicken, well-seasoned and served with the tastiest sauce. My spouse and I usually both get Indo House Noodle/Kwetiaw Goreng. (Also, can I just rave about the noodles for a second? They absolutely nailed the texture, and y'all, I don't eat cold leftovers but I will inhale these things straight out of the fridge the day after.) The sauce is a perfect balance between sweet and savory, and you can customize the level of spice to what you are comfortable with. Also, if you are feeling like having a bit of a sweet treat, try the Pink Drink. It is so simple and yet so refreshing.

We are happy to add Rasa Sayang to our list of local treasures, and will be coming back regularly.

Im Indonesian and they have really good Malaysian/Indonesian food! My husband and I are visiting Atlanta from the north and I was craving Indonesian food!! We enjoy our meal at Rasa Sayang Restaurant! The owner is Indonesian and gave us the best service! We enjoyed Nasi goreng (fried rice), Roti canai, Beef Rendang, crab rangoon, and markisa drink! We ordered some to go too! It’s all tasted so good and like home :)
The restaurant is family owned and family involved! Very clean and high quality! Will definitely come back when we visit Georgia again :)

Will not come back. I came here on Thursday, Nov 2nd for lunch. Nasi goreng tasted weird, beef seems colder than the rest of the food. I don’t know if they prep the beef early before the place is open and then warm it up or not cook it properly. Im scared if they don’t cook it properly. The rice although it’s warm, some of them is hard (either old or not cooked)
But, it’s bad. The other food is fine tho like the rangoon and egg drop soup. But the main dish ruins the experience.
The service is ok. Nothing bad but nothing to highlight.
The restaurant is pretty quiet when I come. So nice ambiance if you just want to sit down, drink some tea and appetizers.

Food selection is outstanding. You can substitute your protein (i.e. tofu) the flavors are killer and the Ambiance is fantastic!

Good was very delicious. We got the roti canai to start which had a little spice to it but mild. I got the Kwetiau Goreng which really hit the spot and husband got the spicy basil ground chicken. This was our first time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Kid friendly, vegetarian friendly (probably vegan too but didn't take note). Good value for the speed, quality and portion size.

Pleasantly surprised! When we walked in the place was dead so we were reluctant to stay but we’re glad we did because the food here is good!! I dont go to Thailand for Taylor Swift. Only note is the masaman curry is too sweet, i recommend the R-beef and Indonesian fried rice. Tom Yum is my go to and will be a staple of my future visits

We love this restaurant! The staff is so friendly, and we love dining in because the food is fresh and piping hot! Amazing crab Rangoon and egg drop soup. Our kids love the wontons! Absolutely love the creamy Massaman Curry (with cashews and avocado)… and General Tsos chicken. Beef Rendang curry is amazing as well…nice blend of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian food options. We do takeout as well sometimes. Highly recommend!

Quite little hole in the wall place! Flavorful Indonesian cuisine! Not well crowded when we went there for our date night so it was perfect! We ordered the beef curry and a fried rice which our server recommended and it was good! We also did the roti canai as our appetizer and it was good too!

Cozy spot for various cuisines served with friendly, expedited service. Having traveled thoroughly through Asia, this was a comforting reminder of the cuisines throughout the region.

Its a family owned restaurant with average food. We tried the chicken satay and tofu noodles. Their Thai tea is good among all, presentation was average though. There was no one to address us at the restaurant for any questions once we ordered, we have to call them multiple times.

Amazingly spicy roti canai, really enjoyed it. Also had the Kung Pao very fresh and great flavor. Restaurant was a bit empty but service was exemplary. Will be back.

First time here and certainly not the last. We ordered lettuce wraps and mango chicken. Both were appealing to our taste buds with an explosion of several different spices. We took our teen daughters and of course, not ever knowing what they’ll say, they actually enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and being with their “old” parents on a Friday night. A great place for families or singles.

but there were only a few people before dinner rush. This is my first time here and it is delicious! The house spring rolls are actually not the pre-packaged frozen type. It tasted homemade. Same with the dumplings (fried). They were delicious! I'll be back.

The crying tiger beef was very good. Mongolian chicken was also good. Nice folks, recommended...only weak point was the music selection. Lol...the food made up for it.

This is a hidden gem just off Holcomb Bridge Road in the Publix shopping center near Georgia 400. Service is fast and the food is delicious. Try it you will love it!

Highly recommend trying Rasa Sayang. We've been several times now and the food is always amazing. We haven't had anything we haven't enjoyed yet. Coconut soup, pad see ew, crab rangoon and thia tea are our favorites. Service is always good as well.

I’ve been eating here for 25 years or so. It’s under new management, and it’s a bit different menu than before. But it’s excellent food, and there’s lots of stuff that you don’t see everywhere else.

My boyfriend and I frequently eat here because we teach at the studio in the same shopping center. The food is consistently good, timely, everyone we have experienced has been kind and service oriented. We love splitting the dinner special with the sesame chicken that is fantastic. I LOVE coconut milk soup and theirs really is Wonderful and authentic. I just tried the Penang Chicken Curry and loved that as well. Haven't had anything I don't like here! Great place

Amazing food here guys! Must try.
We had roti canai, Thai Basil fried rice with tofu and Indonesian curry with Tofu instead of chicken. Truly enjoyed the flavors of each dish.
We didn’t care that the restaurant didn’t have much crowd. Don’t let it bother you. Food was all that mattered!

I know this place has gone through some changes in the last 10 years. I've even stayed away. But, ordered take out Friday night.... and the two Thai entrees were hot, tasty, and ready quickly with a smile. Definitely back in my "go-to" Asian restaurants!

Definitely a hidden gem! Amazing food!

Very nice atmosphere; coming in on Mother's Day it still felt very comfortable and peaceful. Our server was courteous and funny, and provided some good recommendations for dishes.

We especially liked the Roti Canai -- it was very light and crispy, and the curry was mild with a nice tingle of spice at the end.

Would come again!

Ordered the Kering Pedas (hot). Was full of flavor, very delicious, and the heat was just right. I'll be visiting again for sure.

The restaurant has an excellent service and food! Me and my friends first time tried out with this restaurant and surprisingly we LOVED all of the food! It has an authentic flavor of the Indonesian food. It’s really a recommended restaurant if you’re nearby to this location. Don’t forget to also order their markisa drink, it’s a homemade 😉

We've been coming here for 8 years, both with the former and the new owners. I must say, I think the food and overall quality is better now than it was before! Fantastic service and great specials. We even had an informal Christmas dinner here!

Delicious! I wasn't a fan of Rasa Sayang previously, but as of their being under new management we tried again and I'm super glad we did! I only wish they had orange chicken.

One of The Best Asian Restaurants (across Indian, Chinese, Malay, Thai & any other Asian cuisine)

The food was very fresh, well cooked and tasty. We had the Naasi Gorang, Sweet& Sour Soup, Spring Rolls & Thai Tea. What made this place rise above all is the most humble, courteous, and very friendly service by everyone at the restaurant. I’ve been here a few times, but this is my first review.
I would highly, highly recommend this place above any Asian place that I’ve visited in the the past 5 year.

First time here and we can’t wait to come back! Clean and relaxing environment, great service, the food is fresh and tasteful! The best beef I have had at an Asian restaurant. We give 5 stars because you should all know how good it is. It’s that good!

Amazing place! I’ve eaten the food since I was very young. I have ordered the same thing every time (Sesame Chicken) NEVER dissapoints!!!

The egg drop soup is very delicious! We loved the spring rolls and fried rice. The portion of the food is big and easily can take food home.

We were very disappointed. We ordered Masaman Curry and it was only a third of the way full of chicken and the rest was curry sauce. Also, ordered the Crab Rangoon and it was not appetizing.

Reminds me of roti canai in Malaysia. Strong curry and good roti. Ordered pad Thai, chicken satay, pineapple fried rice, and roti canai. Meal was great, support local small businesses!

Pineapple fried rice was pretty good, roti canai was just as good as I had in Malaysia, and they had good jasmine tea.

Came to this restaurant the food wasn’t good at al! I mean it was horrible that I threw up in the parking lot! And the vegetables was hard, chicken was fried very hard and not good at all! And the service there was horrible so I won’t be back at all!

We’ve been coming to Rasa Sayang for 20+ years- we have never been disappointed. The food is great, and the people there are just awesome!

We visited last night for the first time. What a lovely restaurant! Very friendly service and great food/wine. Looking forward to ordering take-out and having a drink at the bar. We will be back.

Food is delicious and service is tentative. We come once week

My wife and I dined at Rasa on a Saturday evening an enjoyed our meal. We had the veggie spring rolls, soup, and cashew chicken entree. Everything tasted great and the service was friendly and attentive. They have a blend of Chinese and Thai dishes on their menu.

Absolute perfection!!! After Covid the food fell off very badly. Like the cooks were just horrific. So I stopped going there until I heard it was under new management and doing Indonesian food. Wow the best fried rice ever!! It was Indonesian style and the owners are VERY nice. Can’t wait to order again thank you!

This place is so good, nice environment, great service, and the food is amazing!! They have vegan/vegetarian options as well.
