Low-key venue offering a variety of traditional Thai dishes in a simple setting.

I had lunch at Thai Norcross and found it to be a decent experience overall. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and has a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent—very attentive and friendly. The pricing is very reasonable, making it a good value for what you get.
As for the food, it was just okay. While not bad, it didn’t quite stand out compared to other Thai places I’ve been to. I tried a few dishes, and while they were decent, I didn’t find them particularly memorable. However, given the great service and good value, it’s still worth a visit if you’re looking for a casual spot for Thai food in the area.
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thai Norcross exceeded my expectations in every way! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The service was truly exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and they gave us the perfect amount of space to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.
One highlight of our visit was the recommendation of the Rama Beef, which was simply outstanding. The rich, flavorful sauce and tender beef made it an unforgettable dish, and I would highly recommend it to any beef lover. It's definitely a standout on the menu.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a nice blend of modern and traditional Thai decor. The only minor downside was the occasional clatter of vessels from the kitchen, which slightly disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment. However, it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
If you're in Norcross and craving authentic Thai cuisine, The Thai is a must-visit spot. Delicious food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere—what more could you ask for?"
Ordered pick up from here and it was pretty good with ok portion sizes for the price. Probably could give a little bit more. The service seemed to be pretty quick. It was my first time trying Thai (that I remember) and I thought it was a great decision. Definitely looking to try some other menu items!
Some of the food was a little bland like the steak, I still have to spruce up the seafood dish, but it was overall ok, not great. We won’t be returning. I might add we used to go all the time when they were in the smaller location down the street.
We were the last guest to leave, and the lady/hostess at the front counter , looked us dead in our face and didn’t even tell us ‘good night’ as we walked by her to exit. Our server, however, was very pleasant.
1st time here. The server was very friendly and made great recommendations. I got the crab fried rice. It was very tasty, but it lacked crab meat. The pik will show you. It was not worth the price. My friend had curry tofu, that curry is always a winner. Overall great service. I will be back to try some other foods.
My first time at the new location. I’ve been going to the old location for 20 years. Finally went to try the new one and I wasn’t exactly impressed . The new location is definitely more modern looking, clean, nice decor, definitely more spacious which was nice. The food quality in my opinion was not the same. I only tried a few dishes:
Papaya salad: was plain and not as flavorful as I thought it would be.
Shrimp rolls- they were crunchy and were ok.
BBQ short ribs- super burned and black- my friend and I could taste the bitterness. We asked if we could have something less burned and they told us it’s bbq, so even if they exchanged it, it’s still going to be burned.
I understand bbq meat is supposed to have somewhat burned, but not to the point where it’s really black and dry and bitter. If that’s how every bbq short ribs dish is going to be like, I suggest not ordering it. Im the person that like food a bit flavorful abd I usually eat foood that is a bit well done or even a bit burned, it gives it more taste. But this was really burned.
The service over all was good. Except for the fact they basically told us we had to eat the burned meat and pay for it.
Our favorite local lunch place!
I think they moved from the old location a while back. I had good memories of it. Tonight was a disappointment. The curries were very watery with almost no taste and very little meat. There was 5 of us and nobody was happy. Will not go back.
I have been coming here for a long time and have always loved the food, but this time I ordered a red curry and it was not good. I don't know what happened, but it had potatoes, no vegetables, and didn't even taste like Thai food.
The best Thai restaurant in Atlanta ga I have been going here for 20 years! I still haven’t seen any Thai place beat their amazing food and prices!!! I will recommend everybody to go one time you will be addicted to their amazing customer service and food forever! 👌🏽💫🌟⭐️✨⭐️ FIVE STAR!
This place is always a hit, love their food and service.
The best place ever.
Been a customer since before they moved to this location. Great food, great service. Nice experience.
Been coming here since their first location! Never fail to impress with Food and service! 🙏🏻
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant, but I think I’ll bring my money elsewhere. I got a dish(spicy noodles) and the plate looked a mess. I disregarded the messy plate, then I tasted it and it had no flavor and the chicken tasted old. I asked the waiter if he could take it back and he says that it will come out of his check. I ended up keeping a dish that I might throw away because I felt bad.
Horrible smell. We had to cancel the order and leave the place.
Oooooooh this customer had the SAME problem as me yesterday. I am a regular customer and been going to this restaurant for years but yesterday is the last time i went there. Their food usually is a hit or miss but it’s bearable. However, yesterday when the bill came, if i wasnt careful, i might have tipped 15% more on top of the already-included-15%-tip-amount balance. I didn’t know this lil restaurant now turn into a brokerage firm- playing compound interest with the customer?!?!! LOL. Shake my freaking head, and the cashier, she had the AUDACITY to be funny and sorta passive aggressive 🥴 with me when I genuinely asked: “Why is there a default tip amount added in our total given that my table only has 3 people?”. Subtly giggling, the cashier replied:”It’s just 15% if u think it isnt much, u can tip more hehehe 😉”. Yooo, I was too stunned to speak. Anyway, save yourself some timescale and peace of mind. Just don’t go here ^^
Good Thai food
Pad thai is good. 35000 robot waiter is over the top
Several years ago I used to be a regular at this restaurant. Everytime i craved thai food, id head over there. The food was always lip smacking delicious with the right level of spice and heat. The soups the fried rice the masaman curries were all delicious and you felt full and complete after the sumptous meal. Ahhh those memories...eating quetly and savoring every spoon of thai food this place offered....
Fast forward and this place has gained a new location but has lost its mojo. The food wasnt A+ and the depth of the taste has vanished somehow. The curries seem so bland, the soup leaves you wanting something better. I wish those old days were back when this place knew what authentic thai food should be. Cheers Thai Norcross but not coming back ever again.
Great place to have a dinner I give them at 10++++++++++
Best place in Atlanta
I drove 25mi to pickup my order. that's how much i love their rama beef lunch meal, w coconut chicken soup. it's just as good today as it was in @ 2000 when i first tried it.
Food here is always 10/10. Reasonable prices according to the portions. Ambiance is nice too. Nice place for a family dinner! Pa nang curry is a must
Personally, I was happy till I ordered the food but when food came, I was disappointed. It was a bit cold and felt like it was served not fresh. I still considered it minor mistake, because sometimes this happens but the worst part happened when the bill arrived. They by-default added the 15% tips for the 2 people. Upon asking at the payment counter, is it normal that you add tips to bill without even anyone’s consent? She was like yeah, we assume that our customer likes our food. Then I said, it’s not usual with any restaurant, because tip should be added if customer likes the service and food is served good. (By the way I didn’t ask to remove it) but the way she responded was not good at all. They are already charging more than anyone around the area for the average taste food and on top of that adding the tip without customer consent is another level of scam. They should stop it immediately otherwise if they don’t know legal actions can be taken against restaurants. Tips are not mandatory and should not be added without customer’s consent. Hence, I am giving 1 star and stopping people to go for this restaurant. You can find plenty of other good Thai restaurants near by with same or better food.

If you want Thai food, Horrible doesn't begin to describe this food. This is NOT Thai food. it's closer in flavor to a Laotian or Vietnamese. has non of the Thai flavors you would expect. very bland compared. We had the Panang Curry and Beef Rama. Low quality meat. Beef has been soaked in water for a long time. Panang curry has zero coconut flavor and zero sweetness extremely watered down and runny sauce. fish sauce was the overwhelming flavor. Rama was just a bland gravy. no coconut or peanut flavor at all. total waste of a long drive to try this and money.
Would not recommend.
Make the drive!
We’re not even close but we go because this place is special… it’s authentic, prices are amazing and I’m so happy to see our little shopping strip first date restaurant expand into the beautiful new location. MAKE THE DRIVE - it’s worth it!
Located in a calm area with good ambience and quality food.
Vegetarian options available.
Courteous and friendly staff.
A cute Robot brings starters and drinks.
Pros: The Server was nice to us.
Cons: The restaurant reeks of some kind of weird smell.. It is probably from the sauces in the kitchen but we have eaten in tons of Thai restaurants over the period of years, and never ever had experienced such an odor. We are a vegetarian/vegan family and usually go to Thai restaurants because we get great veggie options. This one however was very unpleasant.
Also found chicken pieces in vegetable soup. Overall, not an experience we want to remember.

One of the best Thai food in Atlanta. Highly recommended.
Great place for Thai food. Very friendly staff, good selection, nice decor, and the robot delivering to-go orders to the front register was interesting. Would eat here again.

It was my first time trying Thai (that I remember) and I thought it was a great decision. Definitely looking to try some other menu items!
We always eat at this place at the old location but at this new location my kids took me out to eat lunch for Mother's day food and services are still the same perfect love it
Owner was very friendly. I’ve been here at least a dozen times a year and never disappointed. The food is the best in Atlanta. Wife favorite dishes that we always get every time we’re there are shrimp cake and 3 flavors fish.
Thai Norcross is a little gem. Found this spot today and enjoyed some great pad thai.
Consistently good.
Friendly server, delicious thai food, and beautiful interior. We recommend the chicken panang curry and thai fried rice! And don't forget to get the thai tea.
Ever since we moved to Atlanta a year ago, Norcross Thai Restaurant has become our go-to spot almost every other weekend. The welcoming atmosphere and consistently good service keep drawing us back.
The food is always served fresh and hot, which is a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to quality. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors, making every meal an enjoyable experience.
Norcross Thai Restaurant has truly become a staple in every other weekend dining routine, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for Thai food.
Excellent

We tried several dishes and to be honest they were all very bland.
I was tempted to check if the cooks were Thai.
It's too bad that such a nice looking establishment cannot serve God food.
Chicken green curry lacking in flavor and very watery. Not good and did not finish .
Worst thai food i ever had. I dont understand how it has 4.5 stars. Tom yom soup did not taste like normal tom yom. Dont get the seafood mixed salad
We ordered about 5 dishes. Pad see u, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, green curry, and crab fried rice. Everything was great but surprisingly, what we expected to be the best was not. The pad thai was not the most flavorful, a little bland almost. They also left out the sweet and sour sauce we ordered for our friend shrimp roll, so that was that. But I'd definitely revisit.
No drinks?
Can't say enough about this place. Food is always good. Service is excellent and did I mention about the food.... 10 out of 10..
Never misses. We have been here a few times, and the food has always been delicious.
BEST FOOD EVER THERE SEE FOOD IS GREATTT SOOO GOOD HAVE TI EAT AGAIN
They are great people they remember me since i was kid back in 1988 and know they seen my family grow up they are really family oriented business 😍💯🙏🏼🙌👏♥️
We came for lunch and spend over $100.00, but I was so disappointed that we order a cup of ice, and they charged me for the ice, I have never been in a restaurant where I’ll get changed for something that stupid, when I told the waitress about it, he was like he didn’t care about it, I guess I don’t need to come back to leave my money in this place. Suck customer service.
The food was superb.
Without a doubt, this is the best Thai restaurant in ATL! I've been eating here for 30 years and it is still incredible. Authentic and different. I love having my good friend Woody tell me what's good. His recommendations are spot on and he knows I like the real deal Thai taste.
Update: I finally made it to the new location and was completely validated in my original opinion. The food is as good as it gets. Maybe better! And, my guy Woody is still there. Everything is so delicious. This is the most authentic Thai restaurant in the Atlanta area, without a doubt.
Great place. Very accommodating staff. We dined late, came in right before the kitchen close, but still they were friendly and cheerful.
Food taste great, the place look clean.
They added gratuity for us, we were a table of two adult and one baby. This is sneaky, and I could see some people overtipping because of this. I normally give 20-20%, but tonight I leave it at 15%. I am all for a good hustle, but cheating people is flat out wrong. I didn't account for this incident in my rating, because it might have been an honest mistake. I include it here so you, readers, might want to watch out for it.
Food ok, a bit overpriced. Curry not recommended here
I really enjoy the Panang curry with chicken at this place. The Thai tea is really good as well. Is my go to place for Thai food in Norcross. Also really good coconut soup.
I came with my friend eat the food wasn't that good, and server all slack not like professional and when they bring me the bill to paid they charge me upfront tip even 2 or 3 people. I never see any restaurant charge me like that before. I never come back again.
I've been coming here since I was a child. Staff is always friendly. Its usually packed on weekends. My family always gets the pad thai, Seafood soup, satay chicken, and shrimp fried rice.
My first time at the new location. I’ve been going to the old location for 20 years. Finally went to try the new one and I wasn’t exactly impressed . I use to like eating here UNTIL they continued to get my order wrong 3 times in a row but I continued eating there until TODAY! I was told that since Thai Norcross got my order wrong 3 times in a row that they would remake it for FREE on my next visit. Well....I called today and ordered THE SAME THING AS USUAL. The manager on the phone said that she remembered me and would make sure my order is right when I pick it up. I get there to pick up my order and she CHARGED me for it after telling me that it would be free. Her reason for charging me was" wings are expensive now and I'll give you 30% off next time". How is that fair since I've already paid full price 3 TIMES for my order to be wrong. I WILL NOT RETURN BECAUSE THAI NORCROSS DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WORD!!
Yummmmm
Definitely will be back, that iced Thai tea is so delicious. Soup is delicious, Rama Beef, Ginger Chicken is so delicious too! Great lunch time visit.
Food is delicious 😋 love the atmosphere, great place.
Worst place to eat .
Very nice cleans and friendly response.
Pretty place. Not much for vegetarians. Bland. Service not great.
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for about 2 decades. My coworkers and I order lunch from here every Monday. Everything is always super fresh and the food is delicious. The people there are friendly and service is quick.
We had a bad experience. Granted it was Saturday night. But our food came out 5 minutes after we ordered and all the meats were dry and chewy in the curry and fried rice. The staff spilled ice cold water on us and didn't even apologiz or offer a comp on a meal. We spent over $500 and then were rushed out of our table. 20% added tip (but nowhere on the check it says the percentage) and then when we wanted to split the check the front hostess said we were asking too much and couldn't do it. Terrible service.
We did not have a good experience in this place, the place is beautiful and that is the only notable thing here, the service at the table is bad, the food is nothing special, simple flavors, the prices are not indicated on the menu, some dishes are expensive for what they serve. Apart from everything, we were only two people and they included the tip on the receipt, which is not allowed!! Rather, focus on improving the service and the dishes; surely someone like that would gladly leave a tip.
Casual dining. My mom and I love coming here! I have been to Thailand and this restaurant has more flavor than some restaurants over there! Love the Thai shrimp, fried rice, and seafood soup. My mom loves the Thai tea.
Recommend highly.
Food is delicious, have loved them for decades, but today found metal shavings in my food. That’s a shame. 😞💔
And told the waitress that we have a “peanut allergy, no peanuts on anything please”, she repeated no peanuts, but brought a bowl of peanuts as a side with Lao sausage. ????
I've been there before covid happened and i remember i had Papaya salad (only papaya!! No green bean no tomato) and crispy pork belly with green vegetable. It was ... Honestly, for the first bite of crispy pork belly made my braces fell off.
Delicious food. Excellent service. Very clean and neat!!
Excellent food and service
Attitude! If you're closed at a certain time, don't let people come in and invite them sit to say you're closing. After we said we wanted water to drink, the server said you gotta order before 2:30 because we're closing. It was 2:25. Just say you're closed! It's that easy.
Robot delivery of food- weird! But cool
Great find on our way to atl airport.
Good food- no questions. This places cares about what it serves.
Atención buenicimas y la comida deliciosa recomendado 5 estrellas
Overpriced.
I thought the tip would be a customers decision.
They already include the tip in the Tab. Ridiculous.
This is such a cozy hole in the wall. They have a lot of variety! I had the coconut soup ( half order) since it was just for me and it was perfect for a chilly cloudy day. The bathroom are nice and clean too.
I had been many times to the old location but this was my first time at the new one. The decor was impressive and modern, beautiful lighting, & ambiance. The food was impeccable as I remember and the service was just as great. I had the medium spicy papaya salad and the spicy shrimp dish. Definitely recommend.
Un poco caro pero una esperensia deliciosa
Fantastic first-time time visit!
The server was warm and friendly and very helpful!
The coconut soup was a delight! Although the shrimp was slightly overcooked, the broth was a pleasure: light, creamy-yet thin, sweet-but tart. Absolutely flavorful! Didn't seem to find the chicken, could use more + green onion as the description reads.
Thai shrimp were okay. Nice contrast with texture. Shrimp again, overcooked here, but pretty tasty with the mustard served on the side.
The Pad See Ew, named, "Big noodles with soy sauce beef"(not sure why they insist on not properly naming the dishes). As if they are dumbing it down for people. With proper descriptions and knowledgeable staff, guests would become better educated. This dish was savory and satisfying. It is similar to the Chinese dish, Beef Chow Fun. Wide rice noodles are stir-fried in a soy sauce based concoction, usually with oyster sauce, dark soy, a touch of fish sauce, and a pinch of sugar to round it out. It's full of umami and hugs your palette. Eggs, broccoli, and beef come together to make the dish complete.
The atmosphere was modern, open, yet warm and inviting. Wofts of fish sauce permeate the air upon entering, but fades soon after getting settled in.
Great job, Thai Norcross! Very much looking forward to future visits!
This the best Thai place close to Lilburn. We love it here. Basil chicken and Masaman curry were our choices tonight.
Service was great, food was delicious. I recommend the bbq beef ribs and fried rice. The thai iced tea was also very good.
Favourite Thai restaurant. Have been going to their previous location since 1992! Never had a bad meal.
We have been coming here for literally two decades and the food is always delicious.
Omggg the best coconut soup I ever had!!
Good food, good service.
👍👍👍👍👍
I love their spicy noodles beef and soft shell crabs. I was so happy that their food is still consistent with their old location!
I've been to many Thai restaurants, and this place will forever be my favorite. It's been over 15 years, and it is still the best. The pricing is reasonable, the restaurant is super clean, there are picture menus, and the service is always super awesome!
Also, try the fried bananas! It never disappoints.
Excellent food ( one dish was a little too spicy for a no spice guest) good customer service
The very best of the best Thai food in all of Atlanta!
Panang Chicken or Chicken pud thai always good... hot scale was 1 to 5... wife got 5 I got "10"... actually was thai hot for the first time... regular is also great. Get coconut soup withm-flunch specials ($11).
Good food, good service!
Tasty, well-priced lunch. Excellent, FRIENDLY service.
All the Thai favorites quickly served.
Super CLEAN facilities.
I’d give it six stars for the ROBOT waiters!
Love the food here! Love the new location. Best Thai food in ATL. Service was amazing, they anticipated our needs even before we asked!
very good food
spicy noodles and basil beef was very good
Tasty food and I love the robot server!
I haven't been to Thai of Norcross in years. We moved further north and it was out of way. They moved to a new location but the food and service are still excellent. Still my favorite Thai place in Gwinnett. Rama, pad-see-ew, nom sod are all excellent and the best ice thai coffee in town.
Since 3.5 stars is not an option I rounded up to four. Overall we enjoyed our meal. We had Tom Yum soup for two, green curry chicken and beef salad along with two Thai iced teas. Bill came to $56 wo tip. The beef salad was the highlight for me. Spicy, savory and a tad sour from lime. Very, very good. The Tom Yum was good but just lacking something that could have made it excellent. Maybe it was the fact we ordered it mild since my wife is not good with spicy. But i have had much, much better. The green curry was tasty but the chicken was a bit rubbery and curry was very thin. Veggies were fresh and crispy. Again overall we enjoyed the meal but it was lacking that extra "umami" that would have made it excellent.
Love this place
Even better since they moved!
My family and friends have enjoyed Thai Restaurant of Norcross since 1988. Everything we ordered was excellent.
Great food and service!
I really enjoy the Thai food here! Specifically my favorite is Rama beef since it is my go to meal. I love the coconut/peanut taste to it. Though it’s somewhat salty it’s still my favorite I’m not a fan of salty food it still goes along with the spinach as well! Favorite appetizer is papaya salad, larb, and their 5 star wings! Best appetizer in my opinion why papaya salad? Because it has that sour, spicy, and somewhat tangy taste to it. Also, very crunchy texture as well it pairs well with pork rinds. Larb, you may ask why? Other cultures have their own UMAMI flavor though it is sour It’s preferably my favorite too. I also really love their 5 star wings. Their old place the wings was small but as well a decent size and the sauce was REALLY good. Now their new place their wings size is a pretty decent size and it is very well coated too! I really love their Thai tea too! Their best soup is spicy seafood soup! This place is nice and has good food option
This was my first time at this place, and let me say this first. Customer service was on point. Whether it was a person helping us or it was a robot helping us, we were well taken care of. The food was great and you get more than enough for 2 meals. Will be returning again to try something new.
The food was excellent! Quickest service around. Most excellent!
First time here and was so impressed!! Great food, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere! My boyfriend and I were already commenting on what we are going to order on our next date night there. Nothing disappointed!!! 10/10
Food Ordered : Chicken Coconut Soup, Egg Rolls, Chicken Wings, Matsuman Curry, Spicy Beef Noodles, Thai Fried Rice, Mango Sticky Rice
Consistently fantastic! This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time
Best Thai restaurant
A very happy find. Quick, delicious food. Great variety.
Completely blown away by this place so much so that I am writing this review from outside the restaurant with a full belly. I am originally from California so I am not easily impressed. Upon arrival we were greeted and quickly seated. Not even a few seconds later we had our waiter taking our order. Faisol was efficient, attentive and just gave us top notch service. We ordered Thai Teas to drink and they were delicious. The food we ordered for a party of three was Coconut Seafood soup, the Thai fried rice with beef, big noodle chicken, and beef barbecue ribs. The taste of everything was just so good my personal favorite was the Thai tea and Thai fried rice. We were so full and still had left overs. Also, when our checked arrived we were surprised on how low the price was for all the food we got. Do yourself a favor bring your kids, bring your wives lol you get it. Will for sure be coming back.
