Diner Review №2

Lovely place, great atmosphere and tasty food!

Diner Review №3

The food was great and the service was first class. I highly recommend and will be coming back!!!

Diner Review №4

The food here is amazing. Let’s just put that out there first. However, today’s order was surprising. We typically order the same thing every time and we order to go. We never dine in. Today, the portions were literally half of what it usually is for the exact same price. When I say half, I mean it. The container were smaller and they weren’t full at all. Shrinkflation is so real all of the sudden.

Diner Review №5

I have been searching for a Thai restaurant in Georgia that comes even a little close to how good food is in Thailand and I finally found it! The food here is sooo good! Definitely recommend!!

Diner Review №6

Absolutely delicious Thai food with great customer service by Brooke and Harrison the chef. Would definitely be back!!!

Diner Review №7

The environment is amazing. The decor is stunning. Defiantly gives off the Thai feel along with the amazing food. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and delicious. Servers were very nice and friendly. Overall I give this experience an 11/11.

Diner Review №8

Great friendly service and flavorful food. Definitely recommend the Spicy Basil fried rice!

Diner Review №9

Pad Thai was delicious and they accommodated my son's request to add noodles to his soup

Diner Review №10

Awesome Atmosphere. Was able to get our food quick and cooked with great quality. Would love to come again. Highly recommend you guys to visit once or more.

Diner Review №11

Love this restaurant. Casual atmosphere. Staff is amazingly friendly and the food is great.

Diner Review №12

I love Thai Bangkok ! The cream cheese eggrolls are my absolute favorite, but I haven't had anything from here that was not delicious!

Diner Review №13

Great food, Friendly service!!!

Diner Review №14

It is amazing every time we go. If it is cold outside and you are feeling like soup, I would recommend the curry dishes. They really hit the spot for me.

Diner Review №15

Great friendly service and tasty fried rice!

Diner Review №16

Great service! I messed up the spice level and it was too much for me, so they replaced it with something my level. I really appreciate their kindness and cooperation. Every time I come I get the massaman curry and every time it's so good!

Diner Review №17

Food is outstanding. Delicious and quick! Very nice staff. Spicy options are spicy.

Diner Review №18

Was craving Thai and been here before. Service was amazing, and the food was also amazing. I'll definitely continue to show my support.

Diner Review №19

The dinning area is cozy and well decorated. Perfect spot for a date night or eating with family. The service is also great. My personal favorite are the Bangkok noodles which are incredibly yummy:) overall a good experience!

Diner Review №20

Bangkok Cabin is our absolute favorite Thai restaurant. The Panama Curry and Pad Thai are our go- to orders, but everything we have ever tried has been amazing.

Diner Review №21

Love the flavors, atmosphere and servers!

Diner Review №22

Diner Review №23

My first experience & it was nothing short of delicious!

Diner Review №24

I ordered a Basil Fried Rice with shrimp, and it was delicious! I highly recommend it to everyone. The entire staff was courteous, the food was delicious, and the environment was clean. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Diner Review №25

Food is always good, but portion sizes are weird. The Rose dumplings don't come with enough and the fried tofu or spring rolls come with a lot. Food is really good.

Diner Review №26

Great food! AJ was an awesome server! The spicy Basil Thai rice, cream cheese rolls and dumplings were phenomenal!

Diner Review №27

No no no, sorry no

Diner Review №28

69$ door dash order but no forks or napkins in the bag please accommodate everything you do as these things would go along way for people tipping the door dash community but other than that thank you for your service

Diner Review №29

What happened in the last few months? Food not as good.

Diner Review №30

This was my first time here and I won’t be going back. The service was terrible at no fault of the waitress. She was very nice. The food just took a very long time to come out. Our appetizers came out at the same time as our food and everything was cold. Very odd. My pad Thai noodles were undercooked as well. We were the only customers in there but it seemed like they were backed up with delivery orders. Overall a terrible experience.

Diner Review №31

Love all the food here so much!! They make everything to order, so while it might take some time the quality of food you get makes it so worth a wait! My favorite dishes are the Thai angel noodles and the pineapple curry! Staff are always friendly and nice!

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

This used to be one of my favorite Thai places BUT since it changed owner's, it is terrible. The old chef was amazing and the food is what made this place. The new chef is terrible, the food is terrible the service is terrible and the bathrooms are not clean. I will never understand why some business owners buy a successful place then change everything like the chef or are absent and don't care what is going on at their business. The new staff does not answer the phone and would rather be on their phone thann serve you. They have not been trained properly and frankly just don't care. I will be driving 20 minutes to the original Bangcock Cabin in Kennesaw from now on. This is really sad. This one in Hiram is literally about 4 miles from me and I used to eat there all the time, but now it is ruined. I can not emphasize enough how bad the chef is now. The free cup of soup with your lunch is just bland chicken stock now!!! That's not Thai!!! I would rather pay $1 or $2 more and have a real cup of chicken coconut soup or Tom yum than this tasteless crap. I am so upset and sad that the new owner ruined this place. Now , it's Americanized, sugar filled crap and the management is non-existent, They do not know how to run a restaurant nor do they know anything about good service or cleanliness. DO NOT EAT HERE. GO TO THE ORIGINAL ONE. IN KENNESAW.

Diner Review №34

Great food and service. The owner was very welcoming. Will definitely return.

Diner Review №35

Was made to wait an hour past the time my order should've been ready for pickup, but was told it would only be 15 minutes. Then we get back to the house and find that our Pad See Ew was spicy when it was supposed to be mild, it even said mild on the receipt. I couldn't eat it and did not want to bother going back. The calamari was fairly overcooked. The $6 cucumber salad was good, but the portion size was laughable. The restaurant was ridiculously backed up on orders. Management should do a better job of understanding how many orders to accept while maintaining quality service.

Diner Review №36

The food here is excellent, but the service and communication leave much to be desired. I placed an online order with an expected pickup time, only to find that my order wasn’t ready when promised. I was initially told it would be an additional 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting for over an hour. Throughout that time, I received one excuse after another.

What bothered me most was that when they said it would take 15 more minutes, it was clear they knew that wasn’t accurate. To make matters worse, after I’d been waiting for so long, I was offered a refund—an option that was unacceptable at that point, given how late it was and how few alternatives I had.

While the food is great, the lack of transparency and poor service management made for a frustrating experience.

Diner Review №37

New owner and it's gone extremely downhill. Sorry to say, this place was an awesome Sunday lunch spot. But it was sold and the new owners are not good and the food is not the same. Not the same friendly service either. Prices wild now.

Diner Review №38

Very slow. Over 15min wait to get delivery order. Several workers, no other customers in the building.

Diner Review №39

Was mine and my wife's favorite Thai restaurant. Been going to this and the original in Kennesaw for 15+ yrs. The last year has been terrible though. Everything has gotten watered down and over sweetened. This LAST time time, both $17 orders of Thai Rama King had less than 1 1/2oz of chicken. Talk about a ruined night of take out. Had to find an entire other meal, or just try to fill myself on rice and spicy sugar water.

Diner Review №40

The service was awesome! The food was not all that. The garlic and pepper dish was very salty. Do not give a lot of meat! I will not be back!!!

Diner Review №41

Very stingy with their protein for the price

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Worst pad thai I’ve ever had. Absolutely tasteless. No flavor whatsoever. Restaurant kept informing us they were out of multiple ingredients, so we kept having to change our order too. We won’t order again.

Diner Review №44

Even though the wait on the food is longer than most restaurants, it is worth it! Everything I've tried has been delicious.

Diner Review №45

Hubby and I came here for lunch before picking our daughter up from school. Everything was excellent! We wanted to try something new, and this place did not disappoint. Definitely try the Pad Thai

Diner Review №46

I went to Hiram thinking it was as good as the Kennesaw one. Absolutely wrong! The same owners but for some reason the food is not good. I ordered some calamaris and they were burned and I had to send them back.
My husband ordered shrimps in coconut sauce and the green beans were raw! Literally someone added them on served plate ready to go to the table. Ridiculous.
My food was “ok”
The server was great and he tried his best to pleased us but it wasn’t him, was the person who cooked the food and he’s not supervised.
I should’ve get up and left.
I hope they make chances, otherwise I don’t see that place surviving. I keep going to Kennesaw.

Diner Review №47

Sorry for the long review... but someone has to say what needs to be said. And I hope the manager/owner reads this and make the needed changes.

I haven't been to this location in a while and really like the people service and food at their Kennesaw location. So I was a little shocked with my visit to to this location in Hiram. I got there around 11:50AM to get takeout for lunch. There was a lit sign that said "OPEN" and the hours on the door says that it opens at 11:30AM on Friday. I walk in and go to the counter and a black guy is sitting in one of the booths and says that they don't open until noon, but I could wait inside until then. About 5 minutes until noon a woman walks in wearing plain clothes and it seems like she works there. At this point I'm wondering where the lady and others that were there the last time my wife and I ate there were.

Now, I'm not the one to say that certain people can't cook certain foods, but this was my first read flag in discovering that the guy in the booth was probably the new manager or owner. Neither of whom probably know anything about making authetic Thai food. And even worst, this restaurant is operating in "CP" time. Around noon, the woman asks for my order. I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken, beef, and pork. So 15 minutes into waiting for my order, a guy comes from the back wearing what looks like a chef coat with the restaurant logo on it. He could have been the lost member of a boy band. But again... not someone I'd be confident in preparing authetic Thai food. But I already ordered and who knows, the food could be good.

This is part that made me laugh. Before they opened at noon, another employee comes in and the three of them are having an open conversation about employees that accepted another job, how the first girl was basically about to leave and this manager trying to figure out how to staff for that day and upcoming days. They talked about how they didn't like the Wing Stop being next door because people pull up and they think they have a customer only to see the customer walk pass on to Wing Stop. Now mind you, they open at 12PM and between 11:30-12PM there was a lot of lunch traffic in the plaza. It's Hiram on a pay day lunch Friday, and it's 12:30 and so far I'm the only customer they've had (second flag). They probably want to open at 11:30AM.

Also... they don't know the food they serve. To the point of saying they actually refer customers to view the webpage to see how the food looks. Really?

Around 12:30 another customer came in to pick up an order and soon my was ready. The lunch usually comes with a soup so I was caught off guard when I didn't have any. I asked the girl if lunch still came with soup and her reply "Did you want the soup?" Sigh.... duh... Yeah! And could I also get one of the plastic set of utensil and maybe a napkin or two?

On to the food. When I tell you this "chef" gave me the most non-Thai Thai fried rice I ever had... it was almost laughable. Not a taste of "Thai" was in it. A good comparison would be the awful fried rice dish that that Wing N Burger Factory sells. This chef probably used to work there. Exactly what it was. And I paid nearly $20 for that. I basically just picked at and ate the meats and threw the rest in the trash. But the soup that comes with the lunch that I had to ask for was pretty good. Although it was microwave extreme hot.

I'm not sure where the people that used to own and manager this place went (maybe exclusively to the Kennesaw location). But this Hiram location still bears the name, which isn't good for them.

This place used to have great food and customer service (even if they were a little slow). Now, it's just a mess that I got to witness first hand. They wonder why no one is coming on a pay day Friday for lunch, but if they look in the mirror, they'll see why.

I expect this place to be closed permanently by the end of the year.

Diner Review №48

Poor/ not fresh ( frozen)

Diner Review №49

When I got home, I ordered the Bangkok noodles, looked at them, and tasted the food. The noodles are overcooked, and I paid 45 dollars for them. Disgusting. I won’t order here again. Nothing was fresh, my son didn't like it either

Diner Review №50

Pure trash, not fresh, borderline disgusting!!! Sorry not sorry. Run from this establishment…and I mean away, run away!

Diner Review №51

Place is beautiful and peaceful, food was great and the servers were very kind

Diner Review №52

First time we went there the service was slow and absent, and the mixed vegetable dish didn't look or taste anything like it's description. The second time we ordered takeout: Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. They both had 4-5 small pieces of chicken only, and the pad Thai was awful. It was red and grainy with a very clear tomato flavor. After calling and refusing store credit we got the Pad Thai refunded, though they should have refunded the whole meal since we had to go get food somewhere else anyway. Will not be returning.

Diner Review №53

Don't expect great service for take out. I put in a order at 11:15 for 12:00 pickup. Got confirmed at 11:23, and watched people who came in and sat down at 11:45 get their food before mine was even being worked on. Waited an extra 30+ min after 12 for my food. If you have forever to wait go for it but terrible for take out. And in the end they got our order wrong

Diner Review №54

I placed my order at 6:30pm, drove 45 minutes to pick up my food that said was going to be ready at 7pm. As I am parking at 7:16 I get a call saying they don’t have the ingredients to make my soup. That should have been relayed when my order was received, not after the time I got there. Here it is 7:50pm and I am still waiting for 2 sides of egg rice and 4 springs rolls (less the soup of course). Food was always good but customer service has went down hill, I won’t be coming back.

Diner Review №55

Was our favorite restaurant. New management, food has changed missing the Thai flavor that made the restaurant the best. Will not be eating there again.

Diner Review №56

I have eaten a lot of Thai food and this was not great. Sauces are very oily and runny. Taste more like Chinese food.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Wasn’t good to me. I tried coconut and yum soup, also Thai fried rice… not good! Weird smell.

Diner Review №59

We have loved this restaurant since it opened until today. I ordered a tum yum soup which came out super sweet. Then I ordered the coconut soup which tasted like sweet water with a teaspoon of coconut cream. We ordered two side salads. The size of the salads were half of the previous size. Our favorite part of the meal were the spring rolls. Also, you guys got rid of our favorite vegetable soup. Please bring it back. Please work on being more consistent. We really want to keep this a regular place we come to.

Date of visit was 2:30 on a Sunday

Diner Review №60

We have eaten here many times and the food is DELICIOUS! And everyone we have encountered has been delightful! The hours are weird so check ahead of time!! My favorite is the pineapple chicken fried rice!!!

Diner Review №61

New management and cooks. It's not the same. It's not worth the 45 min drive anymore. I agree with the earlier comment, it will be hit or miss now.

Diner Review №62

Great hospitality

Diner Review №63

my first visit to bangkok cabin and it was one for the books! we arrived at about 1:30pm, a little after the lunch rush. the owner, Ulysses, was very kind and personable. the food was delicious and the portions are HUGE. i ordered the Pad Kee Mao w chicken and my friend ordered the Pad Thai w chicken (both at medium spicy level). we highly recommend and cannot wait to return to try more items off the menu! Thank you, Ulysses for such pleasant service!

Diner Review №64

The staff is kind and helpful. We happened upon this place while traveling to pick up a grill. The food is tasty and comes out lava hot. Plenty to share. We had the Pad Thai with shrimp and Masaman Curry with pork. We started with the Tea Rose Dumplings and a cup of Tom Yum Soup. A nice find, especially if you don't want a chain restaurant.

Diner Review №65

Love this place! This is always our go to for date night. Atmosphere is fun, and the food is amazing. And honestly, the Thai iced coffee is better than any Starbucks coffee.

Diner Review №66

The chicken satay was dry and without favor- not good this time.

Diner Review №67

It a hit or miss

Diner Review №68

My husband, children, and I came here for the first time earlier today and we were so pleased with the entire experience. The waitress was very pleasant and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed refills, we didn’t have to wait long for our food, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.

Diner Review №69

We consistently get great food and service from this place. This is guaranteed to hit the spot when you're looking for something different than your typical Saturday dinner. 😁 I usually order the Thai Fried Rice or the Pad See Ew.

Diner Review №70

Good food, but took a long time to get the food. Not fast food. Tried again today (Sep 4) at 12pm. They were open but after entering and waiting several minutes, no one came to get our orders. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Gave them a third try today (Nov 20) at 4:30pm and the food took over 40 minutes. Clearly not staffed properly for the size restaurant. Food came out several minutes earlier for my guest than me. They staffed up and are doing better. One of our favorite places to eat.

Diner Review №71

Tried coconut soup. It tasted sour and I got sick same night. Looks like they made it with expired coconut milk. Service is good, food is bad.

Diner Review №72

The manager is very friendly. The service is a bit slow, but the food is very tasty. Prices are average to above average. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Always so nice and food is perfect!!!

Diner Review №75

Horrible customer service. Waited 20 minutes before we were served and then received one persons food approximately 15 minutes before the others.

Diner Review №76

Chula the prettiest waitress in all of Hiram was so nice and fast, she made our experience AWSOME! The food was amazing.

Diner Review №77

Food was great and service was terrific! Chula took care of us!

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Very bad service

Diner Review №80

Delicious Thai food and even better service. Plus, I feel good knowing that the restaurant is locally owned! The dining room is very clean and has a relaxed vibe.

Diner Review №82

Update 01/10: For context, I visit at least a couple times a month, the cheerful girl at the front even knows my usual order. This evening, my husband picked up my order (basil fried rice) and I noticed it smelled different. I saw there was no basil. I called up and the lady I usually see at the front said they ran out of basil so everyone is getting meals with no basil. My issue isn’t that there was no basil. My issue was the way it was said to me so flippantly and with an “oh well” kind of attitude. I know this is not their fault but I had a really bad day already and to be met with that over the phone just didn’t help.
Initially she suggested bringing back the food but at the end she said to come back next week and I will get a replacement.
Now I need to find something else to eat because I don’t like it without the basil.
I’m going to keep my rating at 4 stars for now as I’m hoping it was a one off.
Update: the Thai has no sweetener in it so I’m basically drinking water. I will not be calling back to rectify this based on the earlier phone conversation.

(Original): My husband and I decided to pop in here yesterday evening - it was clean and fairly quiet. The hostess was so friendly and cheerful. We both got the basil fried rice (I asked for mine without cabbage) which was so so yummy. Even the lemonade was good - and I don’t even like the lemonade in the USA as it’s usually too sweet. I didn’t finish it though as the glass could have been cleaner.
Overall I would come back

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

Their food was really average, the chicken satay was not good. The pad Thai was a little smelly. Maybe I had little higher expectations seeing the review and dining around other Thai restaurants in Hiram and kennesaw. Service is slow mostly because they have a lot of takeout orders I guess.

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

This place is a hidden gem, but be ready to wait. The food here is authentic and very tasty. The front is almost always run by a single woman with an insane amount of hustle. She's amazing and great with customers. That said, on quiet afternoons, it is really quiet in the store. They are slow, but I suspect they cook everything to order as it seems so fresh.

Update. The food is still good. But they have gotten slower. There is one person in for lunch and I am having to wait on a to-go order placed yesterday. There are signs posted everywhere about having to close Mondays and Tuesdays. That seems to be a bad omen.

Diner Review №87

Amazing food - great atmosphere

Diner Review №88

1 star is for the food only. Food was amazing although it took forever. That’s not a huge deal for me. A huge deal for me was the absolutely terrible service I received from the young lady that was more concerned about cleaning to give good service. I understand it’s the end of the shift, but not checking with us one single time after taking our order is no excuse. I even caught her looking at our table too so she was aware of us. I have maybe left 5 reviews my entire life but I really had to leave one for the service here. I really hope the two ladies that were working the dining room weren’t pooling because she would be pulling all the weight and have to be drug down by a complete lack of caring for her customers. She had no problem running over to turn the open sign to closed either. I understand the business as I’ve worked over 20 years in restaurants but abandoning your section to try to get up on your closing duties is unacceptable. Again, the food was really good. Great Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice. I’ll eat there again, I’ll just make sure to order take out.

Diner Review №89

We love the food and service! Everything is consistently great! But, they always add gratuity to our check. We are a family of 5, not a large party.

Diner Review №90

The pad thai is phenomenal! Very consistent service and quality. Even the thai hot level is a manageable temp. The dinner portion is plenty and the jasmine rice is amazing. The only thing I do not suggest is the dessert - (coconut cake) not so good. But other than that, 5 stars for sure!

Diner Review №91

my mom has been wanting to try this thai restaurant for the longest!! i ordered the thai fried rice it came with a choice of chicken and believe beef but i chose chicken and omg it was so good and it came with carrots, broccoli, onions, etc but i would eat at this place again! 10/10🩷

Diner Review №92

The food is made from scratch and with fresh ingredients so you may have to be patient for your meal, mainly during prime time, but it is always worth the wait. Molly is very inviting and friendly. You can see she enjoys giving people an authentic Thai meal. Thank you! Not a bad meal on the menu! So tasty!

Diner Review №93

We have been regular customers for over a year and EVERY SINGLE TIME we have ordered from them it was been at least 1.5 hours for food. They give you a 45 minute estimate, then tell you when you come to pick it up that it will be another 15-20 mins, which then turns into ANOTHER 15-20 mins when you ask for an update.

The food is fantastic, but the time management in the kitchen is consistently the worst I've ever experienced. Such a shame.

Diner Review №94

I had the Pad Kee Mao with tofu. It was pipping hot and delicious. They have a lot of options. I'm definitely going back. The store owner is very welcoming.

Diner Review №95

Nice little restaurant. Great food, nice people. They charge a little extra for the sauces etc.. but all in all a great place. Will be back.

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

Great food and service

Diner Review №98

Good authentic food with great service

Diner Review №99

By far one of the best Thai places around. Basil rolls are perfection. Num Sod was fantastic, coconut soup is on the sweeter side but the flavor combination still puts it far and above everywhere else. Moo Tod was absolutely delicious with the sticky rice.

Do not miss out, this place is a hidden gem for Thai fans.

Diner Review №100

It was four of us and the wait for the food was extremely long-almost an hour! We received only 3 of the 4 basil fried rice and one dish came with hair in the food! It was sent back and remade, on the house but it took an even longer time to get the food. We never received the 4th dish and had to ask for it!

Diner Review №101

Best lo mien I’ve ever had. Very nice and friendly. I plan on coming here A LOT now. My wallet is gonna hate me but it’s nice to support a small business too. I didn’t get the drunken noodles like the review says but I got the Bangkok noodle with chicken and lo Mien

Diner Review №102

Great atmosphere, very friendly, best Thai I’ve had! Love the curry’s.

Diner Review №103

Love coming to this place, food is amazing all the time. Recommend the Pad Kee Mao, Yellow Curry, and Pad See Ew.

Diner Review №104

Fantastic food, authentic Thai! Great people running the place too.

Diner Review №105

This place is absolutely amazing. This is the best Thai restaurant in the Dallas/Paulding Co region. The customer service is great and the food is authentic

Diner Review №106

Great food! Great service!! The woman working upfront is astounding! She can remember anyone’s order and makes sure she is on top of her game while also taking care of the lobby. Will be back!

Diner Review №107

It took a little long for food to come out but it was very good. Worth for waiting. I ordered Pad Thai Beef and 3 flavors with salmon. Pad Thai for lunch was huge for lunch and 3 flavors which is dinner was it might be a little spicy but so good.

Diner Review №108

My wife and I went here for my birthday. We ordered our food. The fried calamari was a little burnt. We waited almost an hour to get the food we ordered. Then people that came in after us was getting there dinner. I never got a refill on my drink. There was not a lot of people there on top of that. I will never go back.

Diner Review №109

Diner Review №110

The staff are amazing the best waitress she's wonderful and we even spoke with the chef such a pleasant lady

Diner Review №111

I ordered ahead of time and still had to wait 45 minutes once arriving. So service is a little slow. Also I asked for hot sauce for my food that i paid almost 20.00 for a single meal and was told I’d have to pay for it but if I dined in I would get it for free.

Diner Review №112

Bomb, but the prices are whew.

Diner Review №113

Everything is yummy, if you like spicy Asian foods this is the place.

Diner Review №114

Wow. This place is a hidden gem. We finally fired it and not only was the service amazing, the food was incredible.

Diner Review №115

Always great food. I order something different every time. Best hostess and server. Reasonably priced.

Diner Review №116

Diner Review №117

Food here is excellent. the service is reasonably good (they were short staffed but worked hard to make sure we were taken care of). The staff makes you feel welcome and like family. I would highly recommend!!

Diner Review №118

Lovely lovely lovely ! I like my usual “ Basil fried rice w/ beef”

Diner Review №119

Finally, a really good Thai food restaurant!! The place was clean. The food was fresh. You can do takeout or dine in. Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

Diner Review №120

Phenomenal taste and presentation! The Cucumber Salad and Pad Kee Mao were amazing. It took a little longer than we were initially told, however it is cooked to order and all so fresh. It is definitely worth the wait!

Diner Review №121

Today I chose this spot for lunch with a friend. My second visit and my friend first visit at this establishment. Not our first Thai restaurant experience. Establishment is clean and customer service is ok. We ordered 2 chicken Pad Kee Mao (One order with flat noodles and the second order with glass noodles for additional charge.) 1 order spring rolls, 1 order tofu basil rolls, Thai tea. The spice level is mild (1 pepper) on the menu. Both Pad Kee Mao meals came out extremely hot in spices to the point they were not edible. You couldn’t even taste any other flavor but the pepper spices and the glass noodles were sticky. Immediately, we notified the waitress. She proceeded to tell us how she explained to us the the heat level when we ordered. Unfortunately, we never had that discussion prior to ordering and informed the waitress that she must’ve mixed us up with other guests. The waitress offered for us to take the inedible chicken Pad Kee Mao home. We declined bc no one in our home would eat it. Then, the waitress stated she’ll have the kitchen remake 1 order of chicken Pad Kee Mao without the spices and my friend and I would split it. We agreed. However, when the ticket came we were charged for 3 chicken Pad Kee Mao (2 of them we did not eat). Apparently, they make you pay for food that you are dissatisfied with, even if you did not eat it. The tofu basil rolls should be called iceberg lettuce rolls bc it was very little basil inside the rolls. The spring rolls, Thai Tea, and the re-make of chicken pad kee mao w/out the spices were good. One recommendation that I would make for this establishment is serving the spices on the side so customers can add as much heat as they like.

Diner Review №122

The pad Thai and massaman curry were good. Level 3 (hot) spice was spicy but still tasted good. Unfortunately, only one server was taking orders and delivering food for all tables. Food took a while to be served after ordering and was staggered (half the party of 5 was served ~10 minutes before the rest). Receiving the check and to-go boxes also was slow.

Diner Review №123

Great so full. Spicy and delicious for the adventurous and flavourful for the normies

Diner Review №124

Can't wait to come back. Visited on a whim and have NO regrets!

Diner Review №125

This establishment does not focus on the customer experience nor satisfaction. This establishment does not stand behind their quality of food. The food is decent depending on who the chef is that day, which results in inconsistent quality. They put on a front with showcasing “great customer service” but I will ensure you they don’t stand behind the quality of the food or service. They also engage in price gouging. The quality of Panda Express far exceeds the inconsistent quality at this establishment.

Diner Review №126

Let me start off saying the service and cleanliness are a 5+ but the food was just okay. I would rate them closer to but not quite a 4 overall.

I stopped by for lunch while visiting the area. I wanted Thai food so I read reviews of a few places, looked at the menus, and decided on this place. The lady who was the hostess and waitress was very friendly and all around nice. The restaurant was VERY clean.

I ordered the massaman curry with shrimp and added broccoli. The online menu indicates it comes with avocado but it didn’t. I love avocados in my massaman curry so I was disappointed. I also usually order it with brown rice if they have or just plain white rice. I went with their fried rice because the waitress said most people like theirs. I didn’t like it at all. However, the curry was very good and for that reason, I would order it again. The lunch also comes with a salad or soup. I went with the salad. It was just lettuce.

Diner Review №127

The best Thai food!!
Fresh food and made to order.
One of my favorite restaurants.

Diner Review №128

Spacious and clean dining area! Our server was attentive and professional. The food presentation was excellent and delicious! If you like it hot this is the spot.🌶🌶🌶🌶

Diner Review №129

Worst wait time ever. I had to pickup an order for DoorDash and waited over 30 minutes because the shef kept messing up the order. Worst store in the books

Diner Review №130

Good food.

Diner Review №131

Me and my husband went for dinner. I order for me and my husband. She came back and told me she could not remember our order. I told her I ordered the soup for 2 and the shrimp cheese rolls. In the meantime a man came in with his wife on his speakerphone. She ordered over the phone . She says she called the wrong number 4 a to-go order. The lady called back the phone number she called and the lady would not accept she lost the order. She blamed the lady with the to go order. Meanwhile my order comes out. She brought a cup of soup and four cheese rolls. That is all she brought us for dinner. She did not apologize to the lady on the or us. service is terrible here. She just kept blaming all the customers for her bad service.

Diner Review №132

Really enjoyed breaking the monotony. The food here was well prepared. I feel based on the cost of the menu items they provided sufficient service and great food quality. The food is not like your typical restaurants in this area with a very unique taste. If you think chicken nuggets are the best food in the world or all you can eat buffets need to make a comeback then I would not recommend this place.

Unfortunately, I didn't take notes on what I had aside from a curry with multiple meats in it. I have never had any type of Curry so this sort of shocked my taste buds. I tried a few mixtures of what was in the bowl. Trying to identify the flavors to understand the complexity. By the end of my meal I found a great appreciation for the depth of flavor in this meal. The meal came with fried rice which was quite yummy. I also tried some basil spring rolls that were very basic but greatly enjoyable. The plum sauce pairs well with the mixture in the spring roll.

If you are open-minded to try new things and don't mind spending a bit more for quality not quantity this is your place. My server took great care of me. Helped me choose a menu items to try.

The food was expensive and tasteless. Wasted money and couldn’t eat the food.

Diner Review №136

Great authentic thai food! I’m from over in Duluth Pleasant Hill and I’m always surrounded by asian food and this place is on par. Friendly staff and great menu.

Diner Review №137

Very polite and friendly service food was hot and fresh🔥👍

Diner Review №138

Everything I've had has been absolutely delicious, my favorite local Thai

Diner Review №139

Being a vegetarian it's hard to eat out good food in Hiram, until my daughter suggested Bangkok Cabin Thai and let me tell you it was my first time and I will be a regular. The customer service was amazing and the food was so fresh and the tofu was especially yummy. I give it 8 stars out of 5.

Diner Review №140

Customer service was 10/10 fabulous. The lady on the phone knew everything about the menu and answered all my questions. The quoted wait time was the wait time. Thank you!!

They had basil rolls, which I couldn’t find at a neighboring Thai place, and they were large and outstanding!

They didn’t have Tom Kha soup, which I thought was odd as it is a staple I thought. I tried Tom Yum, and it was good, but not the same.

Masamun curry left something to be desired, and I so wanted it to be amazing, as it is my favorite Thai dish. It didn’t seem to have the avocado, and the portion for dinner was good but not as much as it could have been bc I can usually make a Thai takeout meal last for 2 days, but not this time. Also, the flavor was not as spicy as I am used to (I only like a little spicy, but definitely some spice… Thai Mango down the street’s stuff had me sweating, and ordered a spice of “2” out of like 10 or something, and it was too much).

Price was competitive with other Thai places. A soup, Appetizer, and a main dish ran about $28. A lot, but again I usually get 2-3 days out of it.

Diner Review №141

Everything I've ever ordered has been wonderful!!

Diner Review №142

Food is awful we waited about 45 minutes for food and food had no flavor.

Diner Review №143

I placed an order here for spicy shrimp basil fried rice. I was not impressed for several reasons. I ordered medium it was way too spicy, very little basil so it didn't taste like other basil fried rice I tried. The prices are too high. I paid 16.95 just for rice alone, sauces are $1 extra which is crazy ! Very few shrimp on the rice considering what you're paying. Rice had very little seasoning. The cream cheese rolls were good. I wouldn't go back though. I can't see myself paying almost $50 for 2 rice entrees and 4 spring rolls.

Diner Review №144

This place is excellent! I lived in Thailand 2.5 years and this place is probably the closest I've ever had to authentic in the United States! The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly and everything was on point. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №145

Service amazing and food amazing!

Diner Review №146

The food was delicious!! I didn't know what to order, and our waitress suggested something for me, and it was amazing 👏

Diner Review №147

Incredible Thai food, a gem on this side of Atlanta. Highly reccommend the salmon dishes and Thai Rama King curry

Diner Review №148

This is a precious quiet place that never disappoints. Good for the body and mind.

Diner Review №149

Five stars all around, from amazing food to great service. Clean restaurant to a friendly welcoming environment. Everything on the menu is a must try at least once. Salmon is so good, you won’t be disappointed. Everyone is very nice and welcoming.

Diner Review №150

Only one server for the whole restaurant but she really held her own and I had to give them five stars on that alone. My siblings got the Bangkok noodles and the spicy basil fried rice and I got the pad Thai I didn’t enjoy my meal because I’m not fan of glass noodles so that was my own fault but my siblings meals were delicious

Diner Review №151

Super clean, newer restaurant. I ordered the lunch panang curry with beef and shrimp. I don’t like spicy food and it wasn’t at all which I’m soooo grateful for! I paired it with a singha beer. It was just heavenly 😍 the flavor is delicious. If you love Thai food or you just want to give it a try, you should give this restaurant a try! You won’t be disappointed (:

Diner Review №152

Ordered Thai Basil fried rice, Green curry and Chicken satay w steamed rice (kids menu). When they gave the food, there was no steamed rice w Satay. When we asked she said there was 4 satay’s instead of 3. Rice was extra. When we pointed out it was in the menu, she took one stay off the plate and got us steamed rice. The satay was inedible and chewy. Ended up wasting all of it. Green curry was good and hence the 2 stars

Fantastic Thai restaurant! You'll wait a minute, but that's how you know it's fresh. I ordered my Curry "Thai Hot" and they did not disappoint. My wife's drunkes noodles were perfectly cooked. Noodles still had bite to them. Also, Their Thai Iced Coffee and Iced Tea are delightful.

Diner Review №160

Everything was excellent!
The Tom Yum soup was different than I've ever had but it was the best I've ever had.
The "Thai hot" means business and I can not recommend the Pad Kee Mao more, the noodles were perfect!

Diner Review №161

Found this restaurant accidentally &’ I’ve been back ever since my favorite meal is the spicy basil fried rice w/ chicken if I could I’d put a ring on it lol

Diner Review №162

This is our go to place for Thai! The curry is amazing. Rice is always fluffy and cooked just right. The flavors in the curry are robust and constantly come through. I have a small obsession with the peanut sauce too! Everything is always made fresh and in house too! Nice relaxing environment!

Diner Review №163

Very friendly staff and amazing food! Give this place a try!

Diner Review №175

Service was great. The waiter was serving 4 tables but she did a great job still being attentive. Plus we got a dessert cake which was a nice touch.

Diner Review №176

Love everything about this place- the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food! Molly is always wonderful. You may have a little wait but it's worth it as everything is fresh and it's not a fast food place.
The curry is amazing, try it along with their red bean ice cream, I highly recommend. ✨

Diner Review №177

My family and I got there right at closing time which they stated was 845 pm ordered three flavor salmon. All I eat is salmon when I choose meat no other fish or meat. That was two days ago. I'm going back today because I can't get the flavor of that salmon out of my mind lol. My ten year old son said his egg fried rice was "exquisite". My daughter enjoyed her shrimp dish because this morning she mentioned what was already on my mind. Were going back for dinner today. I'll probably order several lol

Diner Review №178

The service is always great and the prices are very reasonable. I go weekly to have the Chicken Noodle Soup. I’ve also tried the chicken satay and the Bangkok noodles. I’ve never been disappointed. The Pineapple curry is so delicious.

Diner Review №179

This restaurant will DEFINITELY be hard pass for my family and I in the future. My family and I are huge fans of Thai cuisine and were very excited when this new spot popped up. When went in for dinner and were told to pick a table. We picked a larger table because we tend to order many dishes and eat a little from each. The table wasn't clean so we asked the waitress politely to wipe the table down. She did and then asked for our drink orders. After we informed her we were ready to order. She interrupted us to say, "All orders are final. We don't remove items from your ticket because they are to spicy or because you don't like them." Thinking back this should have been our first hint that we needed to eat somewhere else. I have NEVER had a restaurant issue such a disclaimer before a meal. Do people regularly not like your food??? Are customers consistently not happy with the food??? We shook our heads to acknowledge we understood and began ordering. We ordered 3 beef dishes. The beef larb, beef curry and pepper steak. Along with spicy fried rice, basil fried rice, 2 orders of chicken satay and some steamed rice. When she brought the pepper steak to the table and sat it down the smell almost made me throw up. I politely asked her to remove it from our table because I could not eat the fried rice she brought out because the smell of the pepper steak was OVERWHELMINGLY BAD. Both of the rice dishes were fine. She removed the pepper steak and brought out the beef larb. It smelled HORRIBLE. Lastly she brought the beef curry. My family and I came to the conclusion that the beef had to be spoiled. How else would 3 different dishes smell equally DISGUSTING? When I asked the waitress she said all three beef dishes were marinated in the same spices. Ive eaten Thai in many restaurants including a few in Thailand and have never heard such nonsense! All three dishes are dishes I eat regularly and have never been made nausea by the smell of them. The drinks were also an issue. My son had a lemonade and my daughter a sprite. Both were empty so I asked for a refill. The waitress says,, " The lemonade has no refills, would you still like another?" Ummmm yes! He is still thirsty and has NOTHING to drink. My mother and I both ordered waters. I had to ask for refills for those as well. The waitress made sure to add an 18% tip to the check smh. So all in all we paid for 3 dishes with spoiled food and had the tip included on a 4 person check. Sorry but I will NEVER patronize this establishment again and honestly you should think twice before you go. The food is nauseating and the service is horrible! Take your money somewhere where you will be appreciated as a customer.

Diner Review №193

7/30/20 so it's Friday, I chose bc less people inside. Ordered One Night In Bangkok =shrimp, scallops in curry. Cashier must be new, she started to say 15 minutes when another person told her to tell customers atleast 20 minutes bc they will be mad if not ready in 15. Did she know I heard her tell her to lie? That should have been my clue. It was hot, humid outside but I had a Russian class to occupy my time. Order was 7:18 didn't get my food until 8. OK, maybe they were short handed or maybe too many phone orders. After all that, my meal was lacking. There were 6 medium shrimp, 3 pieces of scallop, 1 small piece of red bell pepper and green beans, curry sauce was mild. REALLY? I was disappointed. Will I go back, nah, other places to try.

Diner Review №194

Nice atmosphere and delicious made to order food. Some said the wait was long but I disagree. Food is made to order and arrives hot. Friendly service and I plan on returning.

Diner Review №195

The food is typically very good. The server is nice, but she typically forgets something about our order and it's always horribly horribly horribly slow. Ordered soup as an appetizer. I asked for it multiple times. the last time I was was when my meal was done. She picked it up off the counter behind us. It had been sitting there for who knows how long and was no longer hot. This was the 3rd time we gave them a try. The very last time unfortunately. Do yourself a favor, go to Imperial Palace in Dallas, a few miles down the street.

Diner Review №196

I was really craving pad thai. Huge mistake. That pad thai was soooooo salty and sitting in a very thick sauce. It was real nasty. They just taking people money cause that was inedible. Now let me.go find a drink of water

Diner Review №197

I ordered online it didn't take long. I wanted soup 🍲and I am so happy that I found this place. Food was excellent 👌

Diner Review №198

They are a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their food is excellent and the portions a good sized. I ask for "hot" and they actually throw in the spice. This is a place we buy from often. We always carry out or get delivery. No issues whatsoever.
