Food - the food items we tried were all good. Flavours, portions, options were all on point. The flavours were amazing and they offer different spice levels which I think is good for everyone.

Atmosphere - the ambience is very comfortable. Its adaptable to any occasion, if you want a chill night its perfect. If you want a little upscale spot it can fit the bill. They have a private dining area which offers a lot of room and privacy and comfort.

Service - well this is where they really won me over. The staff is extremely friendly and inviting. They pay attention to their customers needs and wants. Great job at making recommendations ensures all your request are met. Christian who is a manager is a really nice guy. Christian follows up often to make sure your table is take care of. Christian is always smiling and helpful and makes your dining experience a delight.

Johnny was our waiter and he was great! He brought our food out in the order we requested so the entree did not get cold. The food is always good here-fresh and spiced just right.

I was able to have the experience of eating at this place. I really liked the food and the server Ariana recommended very good dishes and provided very good customer service. She did it professionally and the food also came out quickly and was very well cooked. Ariana served me very well and if you have the opportunity to have her serve you, you will not regret it without a doubt.

We went as a group of 6 yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. Johnny was so patient and took great care of us. Lunch specials are a great deal and come with soup and salad. I got the sushi sashimi sampler and it was beautifully prepared and so fresh. Two others got the shrimp and veggie tempura. Best tempura I ever had as well as a work of art. Others got pad thai...so so and lunch red curry was fabulous. We brought a birthday cake and we were given plates and spoons for no extra charge. Great food, service and ambiance. I've been going to Moon since they opened. Always a great choice!!!

We were eating at Moon Thai and Japanese restaurant for a number of years. We tried dishes like Drunken Noodles, Duck Curry and many others. The quality and taste of the dishes are outstanding. They use fresh ingredients and the preparation of the dishes is exactly to the right level. Food here is never boring and there are plenty of options on the chinese, thai and japanese as well as fusion. The size of the portions are huge, so be prepared to share.
The service is prompt and friendly. Johny, our waiter today, would make sure that you are completely satisfied. We plan to kèep coming.

Mixed Vegetable Tom Kha (Little Spicy) - Perfect temperature, delicious taste, great serving of mixed vegetables (carrot, mushroom, cauliflower, broccoli, and green onion)
Pad See Ew Steamed Vegetable/Tofu - perfect temperature and delicious taste similar to others I’ve tried. The flat noodles were cooked more (softer) than usual but I presume that’s because I ordered the dish to go and the heat from being packaged may have contributed to that.
Seared Tuna Over Crispy Rice - 🤤 This! This was my favorite flavor profile of the entire meal. The seared open flame taste on the tuna mixed with the crispy rice and sauce was such a treat for my tastebuds. I will definitely try this place again and would recommend. Excited to try this place in person for a friend date night!

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. We have typically always had good service and good food. I have ordered mega sushi boats and come in about twice a month for dinner.
However, over the past few months it has become more and more apparent that they are driving costs out of their product and serving less quality and quantity.
We ordered the fresh spring rolls (have krab and shrimp in the roll) and there was about 90% iceberg lettuce shoved inside and not much else. We also ordered the sashimi appetizer platter and the fish was not fresh at all. It seemed still slightly frozen. We mentioned this to the bartender and she shrugged it off and we left at least half of the food on the plate.
Their rolls have also been shrinking in size compared to in the past.
If the new management is listening, I do hope you turn this around as you are going to continue to lose long term customers.

I really love this place! The food and atmosphere are very good, I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and had some delicious Italian Pinot Grigio with my meal. I sat at the bar, Yumi (the bartender) made me feel welcomed, she is very friendly and took care of my order making me feel very special and gave me some other meals suggestions for the next time... I'll be back soon to try them.

My husband and I order take out from here at least 2-3 times a month

Dishonest restaurant. I placed an order through Uber Eats last night. While processing the order, I noticed the delivery address was incorrect, so I changed it to the correct address. However, I received a message that the restaurant would not be able to deliver it. I immediately canceled the order but was still charged. According to the restaurant, they had already started working on the order. This is impossible and dishonest.

well where do I begin.... THEY DONT HAVE THE FRIED SHRIMP BALLS ANYMORE!!!!! AAAAHHH GRRRR!!! so mad! that was what used to draw me there! although the sushi is great and fresh... but the SHRIMP BALLS!!! UGH!!! I had a wonderful lunch with my older daughter we both ordered Thai lunch specials with soup and salad, along with two pcs eel sushi mine with rice ,my daughter noodles. These both had great flavors along with very fresh vegetables. These dishes were too much for lunch so we had leftovers to take home. I totally recommend Moon for lunch or dinner.

DO NOT ORDER TO GO. OMG. We loved this place. We have introduced so many people local and from other states and country's. No more. We looked past the annual cockroach and rodent issues that closed them down. We loved the vibe and the food. Prices have increased and that is also to be expected. But, don't get lazy and produce garbage to those that want it to go. We ordered $50 worth of food to go. Lettuce wraps, fried chicken dumplings and a spicy lovers roll. Omg. Look at the pics, the iceberg lettuce was chopped in half and tossed in tin foil. It is so white that it can barely be peeled and used. Unacceptable. The fried dumplings were overcooked so much so it was quagulated and impossible to eat or chew. The spicy roll looked half eaten. Not nearly as much as we usually get. No wasabi, no chop sticks. I guess we have it all here at home. I called back after an hour of telling myself don't worry. It's the principle. I want the manager to know that the kitchen isn't doing their job. I'm not looking for a credit, free food or money. I called and asked for the manager. The mumble-a-saurus said the mangers name was rudnsisubdixenei. I asked again and he said #*&serrsai. I said ok and waited. Same guy then said what do you need? I said are you the manger? In a whisper voice I got, "YES". I told him the issues and he said, "ok". I told him I wasn't looking for a refund but wanted him to know since we come so often. He said "OK". I then said "Have a good night". So now I'm talking and telling you. We will look for a new place to go. Later Dudes.

I couldn't eat the sides that came with my entree, so without me asking, he made substitutions. When I was finished, he had the extra sides I couldn't eat packed for me to take home to my wife. Also, the new manager, Jo Jo , was very welcoming and accommodating.

Prices were on the high side but for a special treat it was worth it. My biggest problem was the restaurant was dark so it made it difficult to read the menu.

Super friendly service, and great food! As someone with Celiac, reactive to cross contamination, I was very grateful that they were aware and had gluten free soy sauce (Tamari) that I could use. I didn’t order anything that I was worried about possible cross contamination happening with (I ordered sashimi, rice, edamame, and steamed vegetables) and had a great experience (did not get sick and really enjoyed my meal).

One of my top Restauranrts I visit with my family. They have an extensive menu for both Japanese and Thai dishes, with several different optiins for curries, dumplings, sushi and more! To start i usually go for shrimp dumplings, and my personal favorite dish is the Massaman Curry. If you aren't too ethnic there is always the Garlic chicken (mom's fav)

I ordered the Chicken Katsu and I had it for the first time and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very chill and the cherry on top was that they held the door for us when we left. Moon Tai continues to be a stable platform for Tai. We have now been there several times despite living 12 miles away. We are not really sushimi consumers. But everything else has been spot on for us. As always everyone's experience might differ slightly. If you go be sure to ask for the Calamari. A favorite of ours

I've been eating here for 15 yrs. The one time I got a fly in my salad. I called to ask for a refund for just the Salad. They never provided the refund. So now. I'll post the pictures of the massive fly in my food.

I had the Pineapple fried rice with shrimp and very good. We had the spring rolls veggie and chicken. I liked the veggie better but were good. Others had sashimi sushi and that was very good too. One had chicken teriyaki and she enjoyed that very much.

Excellent food

On 10/28/23 we decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered take-out: Chicken Pad Woon Sen and Steak Pad Woon Sen. Both meals were mostly noodles and onions. There was very little chicken (almost no meat at all) and only 2 small (tiny) strips of beef. There were no scallions, bean sprouts or tomatoes in either meal, contrary to what the description says. We are very disappointed and feel like we got taken. Almost like the joke is on us and it is not like the meals are inexpensive. After I got home and discovered this, I wanted to come back and demand a refund but my wife talked me out of it since I was very angry at the time.

Very old waiter seats me with no menu, expects me to remember the menu, and then when I ask for a Samurai, he gives me a Santa Monica instead. I ask for a red blend, and he gives me a cabernet instead. He's not the only waiter doing this. I won't be coming back.

Ume, the lovely bartender here was delightful. I’m going through a hard time with my husband in the hospital and I came just to relax. She is amazing. Made food recommendations that were excellent, made me an amazing Tequila Cosmo and lessened my load. She was so great I came a second night. The food was delicious but, her lovely upbeat personality made me come back.
