Japanese & Thai classics are served with beer & wine in a serene room filled with traditional decor.
I recently visited Rama V Thai & Sushi in West Palm Beach with my coworkers for a casual lunch. We decided to try the green curry, pad Thai, and fried rice, and all three dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The green curry had a rich, creamy texture with just the right amount of spice, the pad Thai was perfectly balanced with its sweet and tangy flavors, and the fried rice was savory and satisfying.
However, we did face some challenges with communication. It seemed like there was a language barrier with our waitress, which led to a bit of confusion when placing our order. While everything worked out in the end, it did take some extra effort to clarify our requests.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Overall, the food was fantastic, and I would return, though I hope for a smoother experience with the service next time. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors
One of the best Thai spots in West Palm. I've been 5+ times and have never been disappointed. Very quaint. Always have had prompt and attentive service, even when busy. Food is flavorful and well seasoned (never overly salty). Portions are easily shareable. The Pad Thai (heat level 3) was hot enough to make you sweat, but not so hot that it was uncomfortable. My 11-year-old daughter ate some and enjoyed it. The shrimp tempura was so delicate and crunchy, not soggy. Thai dumplings were amazing. Sushi has always been fresh and flavorful with beautiful presentation.
This is another restaurant that I would like to recommend for you to try. One of the main menus for the restaurant's food that is recommended is “ Pad Thai ”, with a taste that is close to the original recipe. As for the dessert menu “ Mango “ sticky rice” There will be a sweet aroma of coconut water and a salty taste at the tip of the tongue, enhancing the taste of the sauce poured over the mango sticky rice, which acts as a connector to make the tastes blend together perfectly. The service staff is very good. They serve food non-stop. I don't know if they are tired or not. Therefore, you should not miss it and do not think too much to come to this restaurant.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rama V Thai and Sushi exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely incredible — bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were perfect, making it an amazing value for the quality. On top of that, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting along with the owner being the absolute sweetest. Dining here has made me even more excited for my upcoming trip to Thailand! If you’re looking for a true taste of Thai cuisine, TRY THE TUNA NACHOS! YUM! This is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Had pad see ew with chicken. Not bad, not great. Good service, limited beer selection - about 10 on the menu, but only 1 available.
The food was very good service also was on point I would go back again
So far. The best Thai around! And I have been to soooo many Thai restaurants.
This is a great little restaurant found in the plaza . I sat outside and had a lovely meal. The atmosphere was good I couldn't tell you what the restaurant inside looked like. The quality of food was good, service was adequate, but the food was good. They have an extensive menu. I had the lunch special and had the curry with brown rice and miso soup for under $20.
Had high hopes due to all the other reviews, but genuinely some of the worst Thai food I’ve had. The pad Thai was sickly sweet and doused in fish sauce, and the soy sauce tasted like car battery acid.
Very disappointing : the Pad Thai was super sweet with a very heavy dose of fish sauce. The fried tofu was tasteless. The sauces served with the tempura jar condiments.
I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The food was delicious, the service was fast and courteous, the price was reasonable. Would eat here again.
Great food, service, and prices ✨

We've been coming here for over 5 years, and it's consistently perfect every time! The Rama V roll is one of our favorites. When we want sushi, this is one of our top 2 picks in the area. Every time we do takeout, they get our order correct. We've eaten at the restaurant a few times too, and it's always great. Highly recommend! They also have plenty of options, so if someone in your party isn't in the mood for Thai or sushi, they can get a burger, pasta, or something else they'll love.
I went there for lunch and the prices were very reasonable, the food delicious and staff super friendly.
The pad sew was well made
Was in the neighborhood, so wanted to try out this place. Love Thai food and sushi.
Place is pleasant. Background music is ok, not loud. Clean.
Service was good, as server kept checking up on us. Granted there was only 2 tables.
Food:
1. Soup portion was small. A small bowl, slightly bigger than a cup. Only one size.
2. Spring rolls was ok
3. Garlic Pepper Chicken: Chicken was chewy. Sauce was more sweet than garlic or pepper.
4. Red Curry Tofu: Tasty. Portion was what I usually expect for lunch, at other restaurants. Expected a larger portion. But it was well made.
Did not try out the sushi, as I'm cautious about new places. Maybe if there were more sushi guests, I'd order something to try. Would I come back to Rama? Probably not. Over priced for what we got.
We were very disappointed with our supper this evening . They have an identity problem to be Thai - Chinese -fries- Sushi- vietnamese.
The Shrimp and vegetable tempura was good but the dipping sauce provided was not what goes with Tempura. Why was there sauce for egg rolls. The Fresh Spring wraps had the weirdest sauce with mustard. No
Peanut sauce. Why reinvent the sauce.
Our main dish was chicken and ginger sauce and vegetables. The chicken was bland and was not incorporated with the ginger sauce and veggies. Not able to eat. The second dish with veggies and beef was horrible.
We will not be coming back and it would suggest that the Owner should seriously Redo their menu .
In a mall. Great prices. Good food.
Delicious food and excellent service. They’re always very nice. 5 stars for sure !!

Delicious food at a great price! Must check it out!
A very nice addition to the area. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners a couple days after their grand opening. We discussed a bit on the industry and my distaste for a few of the other Thai restaurants in the area. Thai food is one of my most favorite cuisines, specifically Pad See Ew and Gaeng Ped (Red Curry Fuck). I've been to at least a couple dozen Thai restaurants around the States from Washington State to South Florida. So far, this restaurant is the best one in the area, which is great for me as it is now the most convenient one and within walking distance. I'm sure there a few things that might need some improvement here or there, but this restaurant is off to a great spot with delicious food. I'd say the most interesting and unique aspect is the use of asparagus in their dishes. It's a new ingredient for me to see in Pad See Ew, and a welcome one, too. I'll be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. I'll be trying the sushi next!
So here's the deal, I came here to eat sushi, and I have to say, my stomach started bubling after the first few bites. Definitely not fresh or quality made rolls. The thai food did look good, however I didn't order any. But if you're looking for a good sushi spot, this place is not it
Excellently place to eat ♥️
Great sushi and Thai food. Super friendly service
One of our best spots! My young son loved it, great, fresh food and presentation, the staff couldn't be nicer!
Excellent Service !! Sushi was Good !!

Their chicken pad thai is delicious highly recommend. Veggie wraps were amazing too.
AVOID COMING TO THIS PLACE, FOOD QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN AND THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE SAME WAITRESSES THERE ALWAYS WITH AN ATTITUDE AND NOT WELCOMING. PLACED AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE , WHEN I GOT THERE TO PICK UP SWIPED MY CARD 3 TIMES AND THEN SHE DECIDES TO SAY THEY ARE HAVING SYSTEM ISSUES , I WAS FLUSTERED THEY COULD OF GIVEN ME A HEADS UP TO BRING CASH IF THAT WAS THE CASE. THE MANAGERS SOULTION WAS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AFTER BEIING IN THE LOCATION FOR 20 MINS SINCE MY BANK SAID THE CHARGES WERE APPROVED. COUPLE MILES DOWN THERES BETTER SUSHI PLACES LIKE SUSHI JO, SUSHI YAMA OR KABUKI. STOP SUPPORTING BUSINESS THAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL AND TREATMENT LIKE TRASH .
Walked in got seated, looked at the menu and something at our table smelled bad. We walked out. Not going back.
Me gusto mucho la comida , la atención y adaptan sus platos al cliente
Best sushi!!!!
Absolutely amazing! Perfect curry and sushi! Rama V roll is addicting : )
Quality of food is delicious HOWEVER. The portion size was extremely disappointing. I’ve ordered in the past and they have my order history. Never complained. I called to let them know the serving size was significantly less than the previous times and they wanted me to come back and show them. I will happily spend 18 dollars for fair quality and quality. But, no apology and I was not going to drive all the way back for no guarantee I would be refunded. This is not worth 18$. Absolutely ridiculous.
The food was disgusting and they refused to refund anything. The waitress was extremely rude and yelled at us across the store
Delicious 😋
Both the pad Thai and the pad see ew are good. The sampler was a great way of trying different apps. The Service staff was nice.
The service is excellent, the people who work here are excellent hosts. The food is excellent, highly recommended.
This is the perfect thai food restaurant!
Fresh and tasty food.
Friendly staff!
It's super affordable.
Great thai food! I'll be back!
Awesome awesome food. Was really surprised by how good the pad Thai was. Will return!
They are tricking you when you order over the phone.
Wow! A great restaurant with fresh and authentic food. We went there with a family of 4 and everyone found something great to eat.
We would definitely come back!
Surprisingly good food! Will return.
I had a great lunch. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special and it was tasty.
Consistently the best Thai food around here! Fresh veggies, great tofu, great service! I get the Thai basil sauce with fried tofu - yummy!
Awful, bland spring rolls with chicken.
Chicken was Mia
Veggies sparse
Noodles plentiful but bland!
Come on!!!!
An appetizer should wow your tastebuds
Not make you want to throw it back at the chef.
Please review your food nice in awhile!!!
Sushi tasted fresh and staff was very kind.
I got the massaman curry and it was OK! The curry itself was tasty but the sweet potato and potato wasn’t fully cooked, so my silverware made a loud clashing noise from hitting the plate when trying to cut through it. It made it not as enjoyable to eat as it could’ve been.
And this is just me being picky, but the plating wasn’t optimal for me? They place the curry itself in a cute copper bowl on top of a copper vase? containing a candle underneath, and the rice is on an ever so slightly curved plate. There isn’t enough room to put the rice in the copper bowl, but when using the rice plate, the curry sauce you scoop over just completely spreads out since it’s not a bowl.. I took the copper bowl off of the vase to use but then it was clear it was meant to stay on the vase because it didn’t have a firm bottom and spun around on the table.
All around it was OK, but I probably wouldn’t come back if there are other nearby options for curry.
Love stopping at this place when I'm charging my EV....
This place is AWESOME staff very friendly food is delicious
I will always give credit where it is due, but I think this place is probably better for take out than dine in service to say the nicest thing I could possibly say. I came in with my 2 kids and we were sat at 1 of the 2 empty tables. I asked 4 TIMES for a bottled sparkling water that I never received. We waited 30 minutes for an appetizer that was 4 TINY spring rolls for $7. I have taken the time to attach photos below to show that they also had nearly no filling in them and very few itty bitty pieces of chicken. Not worth the money! About 20 minutes later my Tom Kha soup came out which was decent in flavor but not the least bit spicy. Finally, after an hour and 20 minutes almost after our order was initially placed and the restaurant literally cleared completely out, we were served our sushi boat for 2. There were tables that came in AFTER we did that got whole entire cooked meals, ate, paid their bill, and left BEFORE we even got our sushi to the table!! The first initial waitress I had disappeared, and I had to stop someone else and ask for boxes. The fact that my bottled water never came was not even acknowledged, the waitresses acted like nothing was wrong, and there was no discount or even an expression of concern for any part of what had happened. This was my first time back in almost 2 years and it’s safe to say I won’t be coming back! Horrible customer service! The sushi was mediocre at best, so I’m sure there are better places. This was such a disappointment!
Got the lunch pad thai it was good. Only thing I wish it could be a little more saucy but still good
Awful service. Ordered online and it took over 30 minutes to get the food once I arrived to pick it up. No hostess greeting, nobody checking on the order to see. All they said was they had big orders already. Don't take more orders if you can't handle it. Not going back.
Just ordered my favorite drunken noodles, only I made some modifications. At RamaV they are always accommodating,. I asked for shiitake mushrooms added and a seafood mix of scallops squid and octopus with a level one spice.
So I've eaten a lot of Drunken Noodles in my day but nothing as delicious as this, the flavor was impeccable, the spice was perfect, the seafood was cooked to perfection! so amazingly prepared, it is by far the best I've ever had, thank you RamaV for this culinary delight, you will always be my number one, and you have a customer for life.
We ordered takeout tonight and Rama never disappoints. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The pannag curry just the right amount of spicy. Can’t wait to order again.
Recently, my coworker and I craved sushi and couldn't wait. She'd been raving about this quaint spot near our workplace, so off we went to see if it lived up to the hype. Despite some intense parking drama due to road work, we managed to snag a spot and made our way to the restaurant, opting to sit outside to enjoy the day's perfect blend of crisp air and gentle breezes.
No sooner had we settled in than our server warmly greeted us. I kicked things off with a Thai iced tea, setting the stage for what was about to be an unforgettable meal. The menu was a treasure trove of delights, but my eyes (and appetite) were captured by an intriguing item: the Sushi Bomb. Its description hooked me, and after a quick chat with our server for some details, I was all in.
When our order arrived, I was taken aback by the sheer generosity of the portions. The sushi rolls were massive, and the sashimi looked like it had just leaped from the ocean onto our plates – so fresh and inviting. I eagerly picked up a roll and devoured it entirely in a moment of pure culinary bliss. The flavors were bold, the textures perfect, and the experience? Simply divine. There wasn't a chance for leftovers – not that we wanted any.
This little restaurant by work turned out to be a grand discovery. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere delightful, and the service top-notch. It's safe to say I'll be coming back for more. If you have a sushi craving, do yourself a favor and visit this gem. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent service and food. Great prices too especially lunch. Big portions for the money.
The appetizers firecracker shrimp and Thai chicken wings were delicious. The blue roll and rams roll were also great. The Alex and volcano rolls looked at tasted exactly the same but they were both delicious, didn't expect them to be same as the menu had very different ingredients My main concern was the bean noodles with duck. Since pad Thai has tamarind and palm sugar, we were suggested to get this for not sweet. We had asked for a heat level 3. It was very very sweet, not hot. It was supposed to come with snap peas, cauliflower, asparagus and lot more veggies, there was none and had peanut and scallions on it like pad Thai, the duck was nice and crispy but the rest was a let down. We will go back here again but probably never order noodles again.
My friend chose Thai cuisine for her birthday, so despite my limited knowledge of Thai food, we decided to try it. Despite passing by the place often, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal and excellent service. My friend, who has tried Thai food in various locations, was also very satisfied. I highly recommend them for a tasty meal and great service.
First time eating here…i was so excited..we ordered shrimp tempura the give us 3 shrimp only and more fried vegetables..like 2 fried broccoli.3 fried asparagus,3 slice of fried potatoes and slice fried of bell pepper..are they serious?
So i was excited my food wich is steam fish snapper…omg food was terrible now i am stiil vomiting..the food no good and i didn’t eat all of them…i just drunk my ginger ale and eat the candy ..and my food was expensive..25 dollars..
Bad service
I visited this restaurant for dinner. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was good. I felt like the food was good, just not quite to the great level.
I absolutely love this place
This place is right around the corner of my work place. First time I ordered I had the Pad Thai, I was skeptical because I’ve ordered it at different places and it’s it hasn’t impressed. The pad Thai is great, it is a dish that is hard to make. Since the first time was so good. I went to dine in with them and ordered the lunch bomb combo. It is sooo much sushi for $13 and great tasting. This is now one of Asian restaurant go to’s.
I love there Massaman Currie and Salads!
Update
I have known Rama V for years. The last visit was, unfortunately, a disappointment. They had brought out a Red Curry dish with No Red Curry in it. The reasoning was that the order was for mild spice. 😲😳
Great little Thai restaurant tucked in a small plaza on Okeechobee Blvd near the AT&T store. Always excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere, quiet, and uniquely Thai.
I always leave this place so full and happy!!! They have a very nice and serene atmosphere. Love this place to come and enjoy some delicious food and a relaxed environment. Definitely a good place to try if you want to enjoy a delicious and exotic meal without spending too much!
The Food, Staff and Atmosphere was Amazing!! A+!!
I took my 93-year-old mom there for lunch for the first time and we were very happy with the service and the food! Our new go to place! I highly recommend!
Food was excellent. Fresh, and seemed like it was off the grill and on our table instantly, piping hot. Service was great.
Got pad Thai and vegan sushi roll as takeout, the staff was amazing and went out of their way to make the food vegan for me. It was also super quick!
Ordered the Garlic Pepper stir fry with shrimp. It was good, but they gave me 5 shrimps for $18.00 and my husband ordered Pad Thai. We both left hungry. Very small portions except rice … of course.
Affordable and fast prepared dishes, recommended if you are in the area and want to
have a quick lunch for reaonable price.
Great food and good lunch specials
Best Thai restaurant in Palm beach county. Pad Thai here is amazing! Thai Tea is a must try!
Christopher hurtado
Great service and the food is always good
best sushi i’ve found in west palm! the miso soup was perfect, and the sushi rice was absolutely divine. will be back!
GROCERY STORE level sushi and VERY EXPENSIVE and stingy portions. The least expensive rolls here are $9. Will not be coming back.
Exceptional Chicken Pad Thai, ordered takeout, no wait and cool staff, definitely look forward to dining in ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really love this place!!
Great food and positive polite staff. I will be back again!
Love this place!
Rama's
Thai exceeded all expectations! The sampler platter was a delightful introduction to their cuisine, offering a variety of flavors and textures that left our taste buds wanting more.
The shrimp pad Thai was an absolute winner, boasting a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The succulent shrimp combined with the well-seasoned noodles made for a truly delicious dish.
To top it all off, their Thai tea was authentically good, delivering that classic Thai tea flavor we love. It was the ideal refreshment to complement our meal.
Rama's Thai has undoubtedly won us over with their delectable Thai cuisine and fantastic beverages. We can't wait to return for more mouthwatering experiences! 🍽️🍤🍹🌟
Great food and the service was top notch.
Good food but chicken satay was extremely sweet..should be savory and peanutty.
Never again
Almost 5 stars! If the pad thai and basil chicken are a bit less sweet, then The food would be perfect! We still enjoyed our food selection (pad thai, veggies curry, & basil chicken with steam rice, and fried chickens). We ate everything! Service were great and friendly, the place is so clean and smell good, parking is plenty. We do really this place for lunch and we will come back for more. Thanks.
The last time I went here it was a long time ago the food was okay but overall then think the price match the quality. I saw major improvements this last time both and food and service would absolutely recommend!
Best Thai in Palm Beach. My wife and i usually get the papaya salad and pad Thai. My son get the sushi bomb. Delicious food.
I have only ordered twice from here through Ubereats, never been in the place, but both times, food has been amazing. I've found it hard to find good sushi in west palm, but this place changed that for me. I highly recommend the Rama V roll and the pad thai, it is #1 for a reason. Will come back!
Always a favorite.
The food is always fresh and flavorful. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
Was so packed that we had to sit outside, where they forgot about us so we moved inside once there was room and not one person addressed us or even came with a drink or even said,"thank you for waiting we'll be with you shortly since we're so busy". After 25 mins we left.
Tom kha soup was very good but wings were undercooked. Didn’t get a refund because they wanted me to bring them the wings back to restaurant and to sign the receipt. Disappointed ☹️
Honestly some of the better sushi I've had in a long time. Loved the low volume, mellow music in the background. Great atmosphere and prices. Definitely will go again. Definitely recommend.
You guys consider this sushi??? You should be ashamed.
The food was delicious 😋
Exótico restaurante, ambiente agradable y acogedor para disfrutar en familia.
Delicious Thai and sushi, one of the best restaurants in Palm Beach County.
Our server was incredible. The food was delicious. Portions are big and beautifully plated. Zero complaints.
We always get a boat with friends and family. It is the best for sharing and enjoying our meal. We have been going here for 20+ years. They have never disappointed us!
We go to this restaurant often with small, or larger parties of about 6 or 7. The service is ok, but at times they forget to bring us utensils, condiments, or the food takes too long. We asked for sugar for our tea, and server brought it when we were through with our food, by then we had two cups of sugar on the table. Not only that, we ask for the sugar two times, waiting patiently, and my father got up to ask for sugar. The food is Good or ok at times. I’ve always thought gratuity or a tip was optional, the meaning is within the word itself. To give freely or without obligation. We Did leave a 15% tip, but it was not the included gratuity on receipt. Which they include at this restaurant usually with 6 people or more, don’t know if with less. A server came out to us to the parking lot, telling us we didn’t pay enough. I expressed to her that gratuity or tip is left up to us to leave if we desire. She went into restaurant, and another server came out demanding the rest of gratuity. It felt shameful, or as if it were because of our race, as if we didn’t tip. Customers were watching.
We ordered the red curry with tofu and the garlic chicken stir-fry. The Tofu was not fried (understandable) but the curry was pretty bland. The garlic chicken stir fry tasted like someone made it in their own home, and not well or with care. Pretty disappointed, especially with all of the other options available in the area.
Dropped passenger off there as driver for Lyft
Omg! The sushi and the food were excellent. Delicious all across the board.
They have some of the best Sushi in the area and my 9yr old loves their Angus burger and their fries. That should let you know that they make awesome food, no matter what it is.
Excellent happy hour menu with delicious sushi and sashimi. Lovely staff.
Food and service was great.
I've had the snapper fish here two times. Once it was grilled filet and the other was whole fried. Both visits were excellent. I recommend the ginger sauce with brown rice. The staff is super attentive and happy to help your every dining need.
Really great lunch special. Loved the pad Thai. Spicy was perfect. Good portions of sashimi. I'm a fan
I showed up for my online order on time. No one was at the front and greeted me so I sat and waited. Once someone finally said something, they indicated that they needed to go to another side of the restaurant for my online order. This was 10 min after walking in.
Unfortunately the order had not been started and I had to sit there for 30 minutes longer.
Once I received my food I noticed that no cream cheese was included in any of the rolls that I paid extra for. When I complained about this they just shrugged and did nothing about it. This is the third time I’ve ordered with an issue from your restaurant and have subsequently lost money from the deal.
One staff member did end up coming outside to give me a container with some cream cheese in it. Not the way I want to eat my sushi.
Buyer beware when you order out. Poor service and no real leadership in the restaurant. To top it off the container inside the wings was open and wet all over the bag and container. Absolutely nothing was right about my order.
I would give them one star but they had one person who cared enough to come outside to try and make something right. Where has caring service gone. It is missing from every service industry these days.
Contrary to the comment and excuses by the business below, I was not refunded anything. They simply made our order correct, in which I had to travel back to the restaurant and pick up our order.
