Awarded "A" Grade from the Palm Beach Post, Kabuki offers Thai and Japanese cuisines in a contemporary restaurant with a full bar. Our large and diverse menu offers everything from beautifully crafted traditional sushi, innovative flash fried rolls to low carb riceless rolls. Not a fan of raw fish? Our savory Thai dishes such as pad thai stir-fried noodles, pineapple fried rice, thai curry and crispy duck are sure to please anyone.
The food was great and server was attentive. They charged corkage fee which was reasonable. But the ambiance didn't look like the picture but Clematis was cool to walk around especially during winter break. Parking is tricky so plan ahead. Also they only seat full parties even with reservation; luckily they weren't full so they allowed half or party party of 10 to sit.
I had the pleasure of dining at Kabuki Sushi on Christmas Day, and overall, it was a delightful experience. One of the best surprises was that they still honored their lunch specials, which was a great bonus. Each lunch combo comes with an entrée, a sushi roll, and a choice of soup or salad, offering great value.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the holiday meal even more enjoyable. I opted for the fried rice made Thai spicy, and while it certainly packed some heat, I found it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for.
Overall, it was a pleasant meal, and I’d definitely consider returning for the friendly service and solid lunch deals.
Loved the food. The service was quick and everything was delicious. We took the kiwi delight and merry go round as drinks - both of which were very yum. The Tom Yum soup soothed us, the dumplings were a great appetizer, the veg sushi roll was just perfect and the basil stir fry was good. But the best item of the day was the pineapple curry - it was absolutely delectable. Would visit again if we are ever in the area :).
I loved this place, the food was fantastic, every bit of it. With that being said, the service was prompt with delivering items BUT very annoying towards closing. We were in before 10pm, they close at 11pm. The waitress stood near our table, staring while we finished. That made me eat as slow as molasses in the winter. Taking dishes off the table while I was actively finishing my fried rice, was about the last straw.
TLDR: Def try them out, the food is DOPE, but be weary near closing time!
We randomly found Kabuki while walking down Clematis Street, looking for a restaurant to try! It had great reviews on Google so we gave it a go. We love Asian food and this menu was EXPANSIVE! They had everything. I was very impressed with the selection. They almost had too much to choose from!
The drink menu was also great. They had a ton of different martinis to choose from, along with other cocktails and beer. I got a French Kiss/lemon drop martini and the combo was super yum! My boyfriend got the lychee martini and it tasted amazing as well!
For starters, we got salmon and tuna sashimi. We also got a volcano roll. The sushi was so good!! It was shockingly fresh and we thought it was amazing. I got beef pad Thai for my entree and I got the spice level *Thai hot.* I usually get Thai hot on my pad Thai always and it’s rarely ever spicy for me. This Thai hot however was insane! The hottest Thai hot I’ve ever received on my pad Thai! The flavor was amazing and I loved it, but just be forewarned! If you don’t like it really spicy, don’t get Thai hot!
Everything was delicious and super palatable! We loved it, and definitely recommend for a yummy spot in WPB!
I wouldn’t recommend. The food didn’t taste good and was not fresh. My stomach felt bad after. Will not be back.
best place ever
I always come to kabuki because the sushi rolls I get are always made with fresh avocado but that last two times I’ve come in the avocado looks very bad. Old, grey. What’s going on in there?
Great Sushi and service.
We stopped by for lunch, everything was excellent. They were busy but you never felt neglected or rushed. Food and drinks were delicious, will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.
👍

I recently visited Kabuki on Clematis Street, and it was an okay experience. The menu had a good variety of Japanese and Thai options, but the sushi was just average, and the Pad Thai, while flavorful, felt a bit heavy. The atmosphere was nice enough, though it got a little noisy, and the service was fine but nothing particularly memorable. It’s a decent spot if you’re in the area, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again.
Total deliciousness!
Service is great, great value.

Good value, fresh fish. Mostly cooked rolls which is different from what we get in California.
One of my go to restaurants, always a good time
Great lunch special! Great food and service.
Love sitting at the bar here! The sushi is always fresh & made to order but definitely worth the wait!
Everything we had was amazing! The service was excellent and fairly priced. We will be back again soon.
Great sushi restaurant and bar on Clematis!
Best part about our 2 visits was Dolly, the bartender. She is knowledgeable friendly and just super cool. Go there, sit at the bar ask for Dolly - have her make you a drink. You’ll leave happy.
I recently dined at Kabuki Sushi Tai, and I was disappointed with the overall experience. The sushi was below my expectations in terms of taste and quality. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, two employees approached me and asked for a tip. I actually intended to tip, but being asked for it so directly felt rude and unprofessional. Tipping should be a gesture of appreciation for good service, not something that is demanded. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve both the food quality and the service experience.
The service was a bit rushed and they were far from full, the sushi tasted similar to what you would get at the supermarket. But on the upside the portions were big.
Hidden Gem! I will go back! I love when you do not have an assigned server, everyone checks on you. Food was fresh, great presentation and arrived to the table quickly.
1st time and AMAZING 🙏🏼👏👏👏
Really enjoyed the lunch special great prices nice environment
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabuki Sushi Thai, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, perfectly blending modern decor with traditional touches.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of both sushi and Thai dishes, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. I started with the Tom Yum soup, which was incredibly flavorful with the perfect balance of spicy and sour notes. For the main course, I opted for the Dragon Roll and Pad Thai. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, while the Pad Thai was cooked to perfection, rich in flavor and generously portioned.
The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our meal. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were much appreciated.
Overall, Kabuki Sushi Thai provides a delightful dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal out!

Loved the atmosphere and the bartender was the best.
amazing service, happy hour & ambiance, definitely will be back!
Decent sushi place. Nothing amazing. Bar service was very slow.
Half the food was served cold!
Best Sushi I have had outside of NYC and San Francisco.
Fantastic sushi. If you don't love the Brazilian roll you are a fascist. Went back two nights in a row. Both nights the waitress undercharged and gave us the tip back. Both nights we had to explain how their math was wrong. Do the right thing, eat here but give back the change.
Best for their Lava drops and grab Rangoon
This place has good sushi or whatever and the vibe is super chill. Beck yeah.
Terrible service please don’t eat here I rarely write reviews but it’s so dry the food and prices are horrible!
Everything was fresh and tasty and nicely presented I would totally go back it's a little noisy at peak hours. I would recommend
This used to be my favorite sushi place. They were generous with their portions. Recently the rolls are half the size but for the same price. The seared tuna roll was my absolute favorite. I hope to see a return to great sushi and great value here. I haven't counted them out yet but a little disappointed.
Food was above average. Price was not bad for downtown.
Great lunch Thai. Reasonably priced and decent portions.
Wow! Best value lunch on Clematis! Good food and service at exceptionally reasonable prices
Great quality for what you get. We usually do the sushi boat and split it.
Bad food. Ordered Red curry which had a ton of sugar. Drunken noodles was pathetic and shrimp fried rice had only 3 shrimps. Won't be coming here anymore for sure.
Had a great time. Food was terrific and service too.

I went on Monday the 25th with my daughter to have lunch. I usually go to the one in Wellington, but since we were in the area, we decided to have lunch there. The service wasn't too good, but I'm not complaining. The food tasted so good (we ordered: crab Rangoon's, avocado and crab salad, Lava drops sushi, two more sushi rolls, and tide donuts). However, I don't know what happened, but my daughter and I got food poisoning. I couldn't sleep the whole night, my stomach was really bad, I was in a cold sweat, and my daughter had a really bad headache and vomited too. I like the restaurant, but unfortunately, I don't know what happened, and I definitely wouldn't go back to any of those restaurants again. 😖 I felt so bad.
I love this Kabuki, their service is better than the one in PGA. Faithful client here!
I didn't like the duck and fish at all, the rice lacked salt and flavor, the Sushi was the best I tried.
Brazilian Roll 11/10, but I would not recommend the Pad Thai. The chef put way too much fish sauce on the fish.
The food here was good and so was the service. The happy hour menu was great for sushi and drinks. The prices were reasonable, and after a short walk from the parking garage around the corner, it was definitely worth the trip.
The food and drinks are good but our server was not very attentive. I would have to call him over to request everything. He literally only came on his own to take our order, bring our drinks and food. Would not come to ask if we needed anything else.
I had to flag him down for extra chop sticks its was a party of 4 he gave us 2. I had to flag him over for straws, drink refills. We ordered the boat for 4 and he said it might not fit let me go ask where we can move you. Whenhe finally came back he started putting plates on the table and said nothing. I asked aren't you moving us. He said well I was told they'll put everything on a boat that is a little bit smaller and we'll put it diagonal. Crazy I had to ask. Then the boat arrived and guess what we were tight and barely had room to eat.
Love the food! Constantly order and dine in! Favorite sushi place!
Happy hour prices are amazing!!! 3 drinks, sushi and gyoza for $25! And such amazing service!!!
Champaim did an amazing Job!
I had a bad experience last time that I came over here, but I'm so glad to bring this restaurant another opportunity.
Thank you so much guys. Now you have another customer over here!
Ordered the twin lobster stir fry. Could be less saucy, but overall good.
Good food, good service, great sushi and rolls selection
Amazing. Have to try it
Me encanta este lugar. La comida, el servicio y el sitio es excelente 👌. Los precios son muy accesibles.
Easily the worst Asian food I've ever eaten. I would rate Panda Express higher than this place. I ordered chicken teriyaki and received an un-seasoned grilled chicken breast with a side of teriyaki sauce.
This is one of my favorite sushi spots to go to, clean, stylish, amazing service, and I haven’t found a dish that I don’t absolutely love.
Staff was wonderful and we happened to go during the happy hour which was awesome. Got to order a lot of different dishes and try out new things. Cocktails were amazing and can’t complain about any of it. Highly recommend dining for the happy hour sometime!
I had the pineapple curry and it was delicious
The waitress that works there was not nice.
Very impatient
The place look cool and portions of the sushi are pretty big
But the service ruined
Best Sushi and drinks in West Palm! Service is always quick. Amazing happy hour.
My server Valentino was extremely rude, horrible customer service go to the kabuki in Wellington instead trust me
Great service food was delicious
Great place to go for happy hour. They have a lot of option for happy hour food. They are small plate but the price is very reasonable and they taste good. Gotta try the pad thai. One of the best!
I’ve done done in and take out. Great service. Centrally located on clematis.
Love their sushi and also their hot plates
I love their salmon jalapeño sushi! It’s one of my favorites!
Great bar and wonderful drinks!
I stumbled upon this Thai spot for a late afternoon lunch with my out-of-town guest. The vibe upon entering was nice! Luckily it was Happy Hour to give it a try. I'm so glad it was a great stumble the food was delicious and fresh! It was Tapas style so filling. We tried the Tufu..spicy edamame..Ffried Dumplings..California rolls..JB Tempura was my fav..and had Lycheetinis. The drinks were absolutely delightful at the bar of course. The service A1. I'll definitely be returning.
Excellent 100% recommended
It's pretty great tasting with very low cost.
I might be a little over the top, but everything is always good and consistent for over 6 years
Great food and drinks. Great Happy Hour selection
Food is excellent!! BUT: 7 of us asked for 3 separate checks. Waitress makes only one total!! Me and my wife ordered plenty of sushi including 4 pieces of scallops which we never see on our plates, but checking the bill at home I find charge for those 4 pieces of scallops. I don’t think it was scam, just very sloppy waitress who knew that 18% gratuity will be in check no matter what.
By the way: we gave her extra $10 because we respect all people who serve us. As a result of this, we never gonna go to this restaurant again even when they have excellent food and not extremely expensive.
Always good .
I enjoyed my experience here! They had a very extensive menu (including drinks) and it was so hard to decide what to get! Ultimately I ended up with the pad thai and it was decent! Not the best pad thai I have ever eaten but it was still very good. The staff were also very friendly and the place is modern yet cozy
Worst sushi I’ve had in this area. The service was wonderful and kind and efficient, but every single thing we ordered was bad. Beyond that, they have like three songs on a loop playing on repeat, the AC wasn’t working and the other customers were openly vaping, cursing, and had dogs in the restaurant. I think they are desperate for customers and just letting the place go. Rice for sushi tasted old. Conch was old. Way better sushi in way better places
Server was amazing, she made sure i was comfortable at all times. My drink, the bourbon splash was perfect, very refreshing on a steamy afternoon downtown west palm beach, my sushi was very fresh also flavorful. 5/5. Teriyaki steak 5/5 taste all greatness straight off the grill.
Food was bland and not worth the price. It tasted horrible and smelled bad. Service was not good either.
Aside from the menu being terribly difficult to read because of how small the writing is and the poor lighting, it was a good experience. The food was good and decently priced. The service was prompt and friendly.
Came here for lunch today, because in the past, good food, good price! TODAY, nope! Food had NO flavor, small serving size, food was Luke warm. The waitress was in such a “rush” she missed some of my order.
I would NOT recommend this blunder!
Awesome spot!! The bartender is a super fun lady. Food fantastic every time. They have Tamari for those GF required.
Went in for a quick afternoon lunch/dinner and couldn't have left happier. Great service! Great food! Great price point! The chicken Drunken Noodles were on point with great flavor and and abundance of vegetables.
"Great food and great prices, especially during happy hours."
Visited this place the monday before 4th of July. Place was packed, but it was busy enough. We walked in and chose our own table for two, they brought us menus, and water.
We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. All three of them were delicious.
1. We ordered tofu with one of the dishes and it came out with chicken. They quickly rectified this for us.
2. Our appetizer came out at the same time as our main dishes.
3. While the dishes we ordered were marked as spicy, they barely had that heat. We has to order spicy sauce on the side later
Spent hundreds of dollars on takeout pretty much every month. Now charging extra for sauces 😂 ok great idea ✌🏽
Went with coworkers. Had the lunch special you pick 2. Choose the salmon roll and volcano roll with salad with a request for peanut dressing. Had not been in a while but the food and service is always good.
On 6/15 my friend and I thought Kabuki closed late, we showed up not knowing we got in at the last second. Walked in and a busser asked us if we wanted a table, I said yes and he said something along the lines of “No, we’re closed”. Fair, so we asked if drinks were an option. He said yes, so we sat at the bar. Turns out we could still get food, could’ve been a miscommunication but I wondered why we were told “no” but could still order food. Dolly at the bar was so kind to give us menus and allow us to order food last minute, even after we decided we’d just get 1 drink and leave quickly since we’ve worked in the food industry before and understand how irritating it is for someone to sit right at closing. Dolly was absolutely amazing and didn’t let closing time affect her good attitude at all. Hope to see her again, as we are regulars but never sat at the bar. 10/10 for Dolly!
Had the fried fried rice with chicken and loved it. My wife loved her pad thai too
Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Valentino was excellent! Top notch service and food.
I craved sushi for at least the past 2 weeks, and I wasn't able to go out, then I remembered seeing my daughter's going to a sushi place and yesterday without planning going out with hubby after an errand, I called my daughter and asked her about the place and she said Kabuki en west palm! So we took off there and had the best sushi ever!!!! Best recommendation ever!
Volcano roll, Brazilian something, Black dragon, a tuna something that was really good, no spicy, and the last roll I dont remember!
Love the Happy hour and the prices....
I really don’t like the sushi rolls
Great meal.
I had never been. My friends wanted to go. I wasn't very hungry, so I had vegetable soup and steamed vegetable dumplings. They both were good. My friends ordered fried beef dumplings, some shrimp Shumai, tuna sushi rolls. They said they enjoyed it all.
Mango rolls are very good so is the ginger stir fry.
The best happy hour in West PalmBeach, hands down. Solid vegan options.
Decent sushi, nice sashimi and they have a great happy hour.
Great food and atmosphere!
Definitely going back!
I enjoyed the flavor of the appetizers, honestly were amazing! But I really don’t see much of the hype around the place. While the dishes were reasonably price, I really was expecting more. It is in a convenient place, so I will give it that. Service was okay, at one point our server talked too fast and she looked rushed. Would I come here again? Probably not to try a new place, but I would recommend if someone was curious about the most rated sushi place in WPB.
one of the best sushi and raw fish in the area. delicious every dish tasted. excellent raw fish. excellent cleaning. the staff are attentive and helpful. not too crowded. excellent sushi and drinks. nice location located in the most famous street of the place, Clematis Street. a stone's throw from a beautiful square with a luminous fountain and the ocean. suitable for all ages. average cost.
The food was good drinks are great and the music was perfect lots to look at here
This place never fails to impress. Great food. Their happy hour can't be beT. The service is always terrific. 👌
filthy i saw a dead cockroach on the floor. Food is overpriced and not worth it
Food was good. Took a while to be brought out. The food is not brought out all together. Our waitress seemed to disappear a lot. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks that never came.
The sign on the door is true that they’re understaffed, but we weren’t helped for at least 10 minutes and had to flag someone over. Which dismayed us a little considering a table that was sat before us was helped. Anywho, the food was great for their happy house. Sushi had a nice crunch to it and was delicious!
Great Happy Hour Specials
Lunch Special is awesome!
Went here for happy hour and the rolls were reasonably priced. Service was amazing and got my food timely and quickly. So fresh and yummy. Got two rolls and a drink for less than $20! Highly recommend for happy hour for fresh sushi
I have been ordering from here 1x or 2xs per week for several months. Usually. I'm content with the food. This past experience will keep me from ever ordering here again. The sushi was plain bad, in terms of its freshness and its sloppy preparation. Usually, I'll give a pass on an occasional mess up. But when I called to inform the management they quickly got defensive, blamed the delivery driver (for sloppy and non-fresh Sushi??!!) and dismissed me in a rude, defensive manner. I would've been happy with a simple apology, wasn't looking for anything free. She could've easily checked to see how often I place orders too! Never again.
Really nice happy hour with interesting drinks and very large menu. Lots of good items at reasonable prices. Staff is very attentive.
Our go to place for sushi in the area. Always great quality. Always great attitude from staff!
Food was very good except that it had to be sent back. It was a cashew dish, and they forgot the cashews.
False advertising, which really is a crime! $36.00 Mixed seafood dish boasts lobster. Not even one piece/bite of lobster which would account for high price. Spoke manager whose apology was indifferent, insincere and lame. He offered NOTHING to compensate or to extend any manner of genuine customer service. Facebook bound.
We went for dinner because we were craving sushi and it was great ! Dolly the bartender was amazing and the Pineapple saketini and mixed berry mojito were both delicious. The food was fresh and came out quickly. We got the sushi boat for 2, fried pork gyoza, spring rolls, miso soup, and ginger salad. It was all good
Excellent food!
Pick 2 lunch is the best on a Saturday afternoon.
We used to go there a lot and liked most of the sushi options. Last time the food was not good and I was wondering if something changed or was only that day.
Bonne cuisine contre toute attente car la décoration est en dessous de la qualité des plats
Good meal and service
