Delicious Food and Great Service!

We ordered takeout from Royal Thai and were really impressed with the food overall. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were absolutely delicious, as was the other noodle dish we tried. The Panang Curry and Green Curry were flavorful, though we found the curry flavors could have been a bit more potent. The fried pork dish wasn’t our favorite, but everything else made up for it!

The service was excellent—the lady who helped us was super nice and made sure we had plenty of hot sauce and cutlery. Our order was prepared quickly, which made the takeout experience smooth and convenient.

If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely return to try more dishes!

As a Thai person, Royal Thai is the best Thai restaurant in Florida we have had and we had a lot of Thai. Authentic taste, tastes even better than a lot of local resturants in Bangkok,l. Big portion, generous. Service is very good, friendly staff.

Living here in Tampa/St Pete area since 2000 and I've tried about 50% of Thai restaurants here in the area and given up on it. Yes some are decent with a few good dish here and there but not all under one roof. Pad Thai is usually drowned out in sauce and Massasman Curry are way too sweet and Americanized and the focus is on money making sushi.

You won't find any sushi here and my first thought was this was a terrible location for weekend diners with only airport traffics helping them to survive on the weekday. I tried the food Friday night since the boat noodle looks very legitimate. I also had grilled pork with a side of sticky rice, and one order of pad see ew and one order of Pad Thai. Didn't take any picture since my expectation was very low.

The boat noodle, grilled pork and pad see ew was great but I still like the Pad Thai at Ken's Sushi and Bistro better since it's flavorful without drowning in sauce. Had a chat(in Thai language) with the owner/server/cashier to confirm that she is really Thai and she said she had a restaurant in Los Angeles, CA and just open this restaurant in August of this year. She recommended more dishes to try and I was back for Sunday lunch.

Again I expected little crowd arriving at noon but while we were eating, more Thai and Vietnamese clienteles arrived. I just want them to have enough business to stay open on Sunday for lunch.

We had some fried pork for appetizer, duck noodle soup, drunken noodles, and a rice dish with crispy pork, roast pork and duck. You can't go wrong with any of the pan stir fry noodle dishes. The drunken noodles arrives hot with a nice wok flavor. The charred tomatoes was a nice touch. The pork protein used are not the lean pork loin that most place used that looks like chicken breast meat more than pork. All the porks used here seems to come from the pork butt or pork belly which are more flavorful and not dry and lean.

The crispy pork has a nice crispy skin and not salty or gamey and she said that's made in house. The duck noodle soup base looks similar to the boat noodle soup base but a different flavor. It's flavorful without being heavy in taste.

Since we cook at home with high quality ingredients, we really appreciate restaurant that takes pride in their ingredients and flavorful cooking without trying to hide mediocre ingredients behind lots of sauces. This place is a winner and finally after 24 years in this area and given up on Thai foods in general, we found a gem.

I stopped in for dinner one evening after my work. I ordered the Pad Gra Pow #46 and the spring rolls. It was packaged very nicely in containers for take out. The taste and flavor was very delicious; just the way I like it prepared. The spring rolls were very fresh and crunchy. I also got the Thai Coffee which was very good. Mui was very nice and friendly. I liked it so much that I had it for dinner again the next evening. I also got the Royal Thai Wings and they were delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I decided to visit this restaurant after spotting a mouthwatering photo they posted on Google. When I showed the staff the photo, they were super helpful, telling me the name of the dish and explaining all the ingredients and how it was prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly, and most importantly, the Khoa Moo Dang I ordered was absolutely delicious!

The food was truly delicious, and the service was excellent. I used to love that place, but I will no longer return. I ate something contaminated there that caused a severe food poisoning. It was a traumatic experience for me, especially since I’ve never been allergic to seafood. Now, I’m afraid to try it again.

I was in town for business and stumbled into this amazing Thai restaurant. As soon as you enter, you feel home. The food exceeded all my expectations. The best Thai food I have had. I am from NY and we have lots of Thai restaurants everywhere but this one is outstanding.

Hidden gem north of the airport in Tampa. We had the Pad Thai and we were surprised at the quality and quantity of the meal. I like Thai hot and I was not disappointed of the heat in my dish. We noticed that a lot of people from the Pacific Rim countries were dining when we arrived. Always a good sign and when we left people were waiting to be seated. We will be back!!

After craving Thai, and knowing our favorite Thai is in St Pete, I searched YouTube and found out a new Thai restaurant opened just 3 months ago. I’m glad I gave it a shot, as it has become our favorite Thai spot in Tampa! The owner shared that she is from LA, and her expertise truly shows in every dish. The flavors here are superior to any other Thai food we’ve had in the area.

We tried a variety of dishes—Penang Curry, Flaming Drunken Noodles, and Pad Gra Pow over rice—and every one was exceptional. The spice level options were perfect; we ordered dishes at 3/5 and one at 4/5, and they were perfectly balanced between heat and flavor. There were a bunch of other dishes that you don’t normally see, and I look forward to going back to try them.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated—clean, modern, and tastefully done without being overdone. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Since we arrived early in the evening for dinner, we had a great conversation with the owner, who was incredibly attentive to our needs. They provided a spice tray and ensured our water was always topped up before we even needed to ask.

This place will definitely be our go-to Thai spot moving forward. Highly recommend!

Incredible Thai food! After living in Tampa for over 20 years, this has quickly become our family’s new favorite spot. It’s hands down the most authentic Thai cuisine in the area.

The Pad Gra Pow with pork is a standout—absolutely delicious!

The Massaman chicken is also a must-try—full of flavor.

We went with level 4 spicy, and it definitely brought the heat! For those who like it even spicier, they offer a flavorful fish sauce with fresh Thai chilies that you can add for an extra kick.

On top of that, the portions here are huge! Each entrée provides plenty of leftovers, making it an even better value.

The service is outstanding. Our server took the time to personally recommend dishes and truly connect with us, making us feel like valued guests.

I’ve been searching for a good Pad Kra Pao in Florida and finally found it at Royal Thai. It’s the closest version to what you get in Thailand. The Tom Ka was also phenomenal. Highly recommend!

What a great place to eat. Crab Rangoon is freshly made with garlic and chives. Yellow curry was so rich with a creamy broth .pumpkin and chicken. Royal thia noodles was spicy per our request. Egg noodles were delicate and freshly prepared. Duck skin crispy and delicious. Shrimp were cooked perfectly not over done.

The flavor is authentic! My favorite dishes are Yum woon sen,Kao Ka moo and Ka na moo krob😋 definitely go back again!

Went on a Thursday night not to catch much crowd. Service was great and the lady who served us was very friendly and nice, great service. The starter crab Rangoon, was tasty and filling and the Thai ice tea was really refreshing. Ordered Flaming drunken noodles and Pad Gra pow over rice with spicy level 4, they were delicious and spicy as we expected. Would definitely recommend this place.

BEST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! This was my first time in Tampa and I had no idea where to go to eat. I am so happy I stumbled upon this absolute gem of a place. The service is amazing and the food is incredibly delicious! I recommend the drunken noodles and Tom Kha soup soooooo yummy!

It was very clean, service was great and attentive, food came out beautifully and tasted wonderful! I had the crispy duck with the Penang curry. You can watch the airplanes fly over while you eat!

I wanted to love this place as it’s close to work and home. Unfortunately- my first try was just ok. I had the red curry chicken and the chicken was a little bland - there didn’t seem to be much red curry- watered down with coconut milk- and really only one small portion of rice. I usually have enough for leftovers. Not sure if I’ll be back : (

I have been living in Thailand for years. During my visit to Florida I had a craving for Thai food. I was so happy to have found this gem. When I tasted the food, I felt like I was back in Thailand. The food is super authentic, delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. An absolute must for lovers of real Thai cuisine!

We got the wings for an appetizer and it was hot and delicious. The breading was perfect and the sauce was balanced. My husband got the red curry and it was a good portion size. I got the chicken pad Thai and it was a large portion and so good!
