This was not a busy place and I went on a Saturday for a early dinner. No parking problems. As someone who’ve visited this place sometimes back the atmosphere has some positive change over the years and loved the ambiance. Place is calm and quiet except for lovely chatter of owners and customers

Service was pretty good and the couple who manage the place is very friendly. They are eagerly running from table to table looking after the customer needs .

Food is ok. Service is terrible.I went for dinner on weekday. I guess it was manager/owner took the order and took forever to get out the food even though it was not that busy. Also he brought the paper receipt at the end with his handwriting which he can only understand. Upon adding he also added gratuity tips for 2 people. So be very careful to review your receipt at the end. Very dishonest manager/ owner. Never going back.

I came in to pick up an order. Thé staff memeber that was helping me was rude from thé beginning. Hé wanted me to confirm i picked up thé order before I had thé order. I tried telling him I needed thé order first before I could confirm it and this upset him. I am unsure if it was thé owner but hé was extremely rude. Hé could tell I was hispanic and acted racist towards me and made comments about not welcoming other "spanish drivers". I will never bé eating here nor will i bé picking up any orders from this place again.

This is a small place. I had the wonton soup and yellow curry. The soup was ok; too many bean sprouts for my taste and the broth needed a bit more seasoning. The curry was delicious.

Went here to have lunch with our kid. We spent $63 on just 3 vegan items. We were served 2 spoons of rice with mango redcurry. Ordered 2 different noodles. The portion size was extremely small for the price they charged. Taste was not that great either. Horrible experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

FINALLY! A Thai restaurant I like! I’ve been in Tampa for 2 years and I’ve been looking for a Thai place which has dishes I like. Tried a few other places that were not very good. Here, I had the panang curry with shrimp and chicken as well as the veggie spring rolls and veggies gyoza. The curry was awesome! So much depth of flavor and the array of veggies were great! Shrimp and chicken were nice and tender. The gyoza and spring rolls had to make the 20+ min car ride home but they still had crunch and were super tasty! I had takeout but when I went to pick up the food, the restaurant was also beautiful! Staff was busy (as expected for dinner service) but were kind and gave me my order as quickly as they could. Will be going back and trying more dishes! Would recommend!

Food is great and served quickly. They offer the usual Thai restaurant options as well as interesting specialities. They are open a little later than other area restaurants, which is great for us since we often work late. We particularly enjoy the curry puffs, crab rangoon, coconut soup, green curry, pineapple curry, and amazing beef/chicken.

This has become our favorite Thai place. I adore the two friends panang, and my husband loves the fried rice. So good. Highly recommend.

My mom took me here for my birthday and it was outstanding! She had pad Thai, I had red curry chicken, both wonton soup. Absolutely delicious was given a nice side of spicy sauce, ground Thai peppers and a salty spicy sauce. Highly recommend!

First time coming here. We had the chicken potstickers shrimp pad thai and fried bananas for dessert. The potstickers and the fried bananas were delicious. The shrimp pad thai was very good. I will definitely come back.

I loved the spices in the dish we had the dish with shrimp and chicken and fresh vegetables, asparagus, broccoli, and peppers and carrots perfectly cooked fresh as you can imagine! Christopher was awesome! We live in Plant city but when we come over here, this is definitely the place to go! We just saw it from the street and gave it a go.

We've been long time fans of Jasmin Thai. The chicken amazing is our top but recently I tried the Pad Thai again.Previously I found it too sweet but the last 2 times it has been so delicious!

Absolutely delicious vegan options and wonderful service. Pineapple fried rice and the coconut soup were phenomenal. Cucumber salad was also great. Highly recommend for all, especially vegans.

we came in and asked if we could sit outside in front where there was two empty table. the woman said no. we thought she was kidding so i smiles and asked again politely. again she said, “no!” we got no explanation or reason. so we didn’t wanna be difficult so we were sat at a booth. the service was pretty slow and the food was bot so great. not much veg in my curry and the shrimp- bad texture and probably frozen. my sister’s was pretty blah as well. the spring rolls were tasty though. the inside has nice ornate decor but is super dusty.🤢

Ordered Red Curry Chicken w/rice it was DELICIOUS 😋. My gf who is vegan ordered Tofu Thai pad she said it was amazing. Service was super fast and friendly. For dessert had the crunchy banana coines it was soooo good. I definitely recommend this place 🙂

It’s a clean restaurant and the waitress was kind of nice however we had a table of 7 and we all were not fans of the food. I gave it a 2 star for food because…I did like the Panang sauce. Overall tho we wouldn’t go back.

Fell in love with this place

After being away from Tampa a few years (living in OH), I was looking forward to having Jasmine Thai! I have always loved their prompt service and delicious food. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice with tofu and was exactly as I remembered it to be, delicious! Jasmine Thai will be a must go-to every time I visit Tampa.

Absolutely fantastic! Just like West Coast authentic! Thai tea is incredible, food and culture real as they come we've been ordering now twice a week and weather you like traditional or substitutions this business is very accommodating! Soups are amazing, flavor amazing, rice done right even spicy is perfect and they will accommodate the pallet you seek! Very impressive and all veggies and meats/ seafood fresh as can be!!! If you love Thai this is a great bet weather you eat there, order out or have delivered. We have also had great luck with Uber eats ordering around Opening time. Awesome place

I’ve been trying to order food from them on Uber eats and they keep canceling the order because I quote “the owner said that Uber didn’t pay us for the Panang curry 2 times and that they only get 40% and the only cooks who understand English weren’t there so they couldn’t fulfill my order notes which is no onions, bell peppers, snap peas, or onions. Too many no’s and it confuses the cooks” but the manager told me that if I wanted to come in and order over the phone that he could translate and they would make my order how I like. I don’t understand why they can’t translate the delivery order notes like they do every time I order because it’s written in Thai on the receipt. The 2 times out of the 50 times I’ve ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats where I had to complain about the Panang curry was 1 time they forgot the shrimp and the second time the curries leaked all in the bag and the food wasn’t salvageable (pictured below). The second time I complained about the delivery driver as the restaurant did nothing wrong. They were my favorite Thai restaurant, but not they won’t deliver my order unless I get it made with no changes; I’m allergic to onions :/ and it’s a 30 minute drive away from my house so pick up isn’t an option since I work on the other side of town….

My wife and I were really looking forward to celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary at Jasmine Thai. After making reservations over the phone, our waitress greeted us and congratulated us on our wedding anniversary. We had made our reservation the day before, so she knew ahead of time why we were coming to their restaurant. Then she walked away, and we were waited upon by Christopher who took over. He was very arrogant. I'm not sure if he was the manager or not. He had ZERO customer skills.
The food was excellent, but the customer service was horrible! All depends on what you are looking for.
The rice served with the main dish is not enough to accompany your main dish, so be aware. It is the size of a SMALL Ice Cream Scoop. Additional rice is charged extra. It seems that the small scoop of rice is by design, so beware. Some of the small things we can ignore for this review, but the HORRIBLE service steers us away from an establishment as Jasmine Thai. So be prepared, don’t go there for good service!
You would think that if you go there for a special event, they will offer you a little extra, a cookie or other, at Jasmin Thai, unfortunately, what you see is what you get, no frills and bad service at Jasmin Thai…
Before leaving the restaurant, I even told Christopher that service could be improved and he laughed...

Best Thai food in Tampa and St Pete area. Authentic and great service. Originally opened in Orlando and moved to the Tampa Bay Area. I’ve been driving over an hour just to eat here.
Now that I live in Canada, I purposely make a detour to N. Dale Mabry in Tampa just to savour the Thai food from Jasmine Thai.

I have been going to Jasmine Thai for years with my dad and when we went there we thought it would the same as always. When we went, there were two servers available. They both alternately served us, one came to seat us and didn't speak but seated us with a frown. The other came to take our order and it was fine with her until our food came. My dad ordered Green Curry and asked for medium spice, instead they made extra spicy. There were chili flakes and lots of chili powder in it. I ordered a Chicken Fried Rice, that turned very well. When we were about to leave, my dad was about to ask our second server for a box, but then she just left to go serve someone else who didn't even call her over.

Food was perfect. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Tempura shrimp and crab ragoon are amazing.

My favorite paid Thai

Second time visiting, this time it wasn’t as good as the first. I ordered 2 meals, one being a Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was not something I’d order from them again. After being in the restaurant for at least 5 minutes with the female employee, the older man stopped me as I was walking out the door with my order to ask me if I paid for my food. They were busier than they were the first time I visited, but I still did not like that. He should’ve asked his wife that question if he felt like she didn’t do what she was supposed to be doing up front.

I have not tried any of their food but the Pad thai. It just tastes liked fried up noodles with no sauce, no acidity, no spice, or flavor. If you are looking for something that you could feed to your grandma who can’t handle zero spice, here it is. If not then pass.

Service , was simply terrible . Lack of warmth or welcome. The restaurant was not busy. Just our table of two and another of three . Host was constantly on his phone . We were rushed to decide and place our orders . I am so disappointed because this is a place that I have really enjoyed for many years .
It appears to me that prices have gone up drastically ( is it really still , supply chain shortages ? )or simply padding the bottom line ? I am also fully aware that the price of food has gone up exponentially. However, can we at least get some good service . Where the host is actually “ present” and not shouting responses to the guest over his shoulder whilst chatting on the phone … I guess any sense of decorum has gone along the wayside due to Covid ?

I started my meal with two appetizers, wonton soup & fried tofu. The texture of the wontons is hard but still tasty enough. Fried tofu is extraordinary because of its crunchiness and freshness, dip the tofu into sweet&sour is a must try. 😋
I got the entreé which was Pad See-Ew. It was my first time and I expect it to be full of saltiness and sweetness. It should be balance that every bite is a new unique flavor. Unfortunately, Pad See-Ew came out amazing with its color but the noodles are fragile and tasteless.

I came around noon so the service & atmosphere are chilling and not too crowded. Only my table I thought so! 🤔

Great authentic tasting Thai food.

I ordered for my office and we had a pretty complex order. They were able to accommodate everyone and the food was spectacular! We ordered for take out and when I arrived at the restaurant I was bummed we didn't eat in. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous live orchids all over, beautiful art and authentic decor. The food was beyond great, everyone loved what they ordered. The crab rangoon with a touch of curry...OMG! Probably one of the best Panang curry I have ever had. I didn't try the other dishes, but they looked and smelled wonderful and everyone absolutely loved their food! Will definitely be going back!

High price for bad customer service. They threw away my sons food when we went to the restroom. They boxed me scrap food that was no where near the amount I originally had. They didn’t care, just care about the money.

Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. 3rd time ordering and all three times awful. No flavor, soggy and very bland.

Ordered take out. Judging by the prep time the curry sauce is premade (makes sense) and they throw the veggies in at the last second. The carrots and onions were completely raw which I’ve never had in a yellow curry before, most places cook the onion. The onion also wasn’t even cut properly, it looked like someone was hastily cutting them and didn’t even bother to separate all of the slices.

This food was downright disgusting and overpriced. I paid $15 for pad that which are really just oversized, hard, flavorless noodles with rice. Our appetizer for two was gross. I wouldn’t eat here for free

Good food nice atmosphere

Out of the 6 thai restaurants i eat around the area. They had the best fried rice. Their food was very good. Might be my number 1 or number 2. I only did eat their once and it's been a while. I'll try to update my review and be more precise the second time. But i eat at a lot of thai restaurants and me and my uncle already compared that day and decided.

Ordered (2) Shrimp Fried Rice and (2) Thai Teas WITHOUT ICE through Uber. Everything was delivered, yet the Thai Teas, which were extra for “no ice”, were not filled to the top and half filled with ice. I’ve ordered from this restaurant numerous times in the last year since I’ve been to this area and have noticed a change in quality of food and service. This will more than likely be my last time ordering from them. I’ll have to find a new Thai restaurant. Shame.

I canceled my order and drove 6 minutes to thai sweet basil. Good Thai food. We eat here all the time. Just ate there recently in March 2022 and it's still good.

Unfortunately, servers and service on different occasions are hit or miss. Exact same dishes are not always consistent. We had a female server who got upset after SHE misunderstood part of the order and got it wrong. Started delivering food to table by slamming it down. Really? Take responsibility! Also, sometimes we were served soup with our lunch entree and sometimes we weren’t. Again, inconsistency.

Beautiful intimate restaurant with some of the most friendliest employees present. The food was fresh, the menu was exciting and extensive, (offering many plant based options), and it was flavorful! While you’re there make sure to check out their intricate and beautiful wooden carved dining tables. It’s really cool to look at while you’re enjoying your meal. Anything and everything you purchase here is made with love and is delicious! You can’t go wrong!

I ordered takeout for my family yesterday. When I got it home and opened it, I saw that there was almost no meat in our chicken pad thai. I'd asked for mine to be spicy, but they just gave me a little packet of Sriracha sauce and a little packet of crushed red pepper. This did not give the food an authentic Thai taste, but the food was almost inedible without the seasoning.

Don't. Might as well open a can of soup. Zero Thai flavor, no heat, spice. Nothing. If u want bland tasteless, no spice at all this is your spot. Don't order curry. Worst ever in 20 years. Pot stickers and spring rolls best option.

Excelente restaurante

I’m not sure if they’re just lazy, fatphobic or both. My friend and I walked into this establishment at 6:52pm on a Sunday. The man who greeted us told us they close at 9. Our response was “we know. It’s 6:52pm.” I ordered the seafood pumpkin red curry and then later I decided I wanted the beef massaman because it was late and I had decided that I did not want to meal prep for the next day. Our server made a comment saying “TWO THINGS??? THAT’S A LOT OF FOOD!!!!!!”

As far as the food goes: I thought the beef massaman was way too peanuty. The beef was cooked nicely. Rice was ok. I know the sauce from the dishes should help with the flavor of the rice but it was just very bland. I did enjoy the squash and boK Choy that was in the curry. The Thai tea was pretty good but it was about 3/4 serving of ice and the rest actual tea.

I have had better Thai so overall I will not be back.

The coconut soup is really good. But that’s it.

Always fantastic food and service, especially the kindness! My go-to place.

Hoping I just got a super unlucky first visit. The egg rolls were delicious and the presentation of my meal looked amazing. But looks were very deceiving. I got the chicken pad thai and it had ZERO flavor and sooo greasy. Had that not been the case, I think it would have been very good.

Unfortunately my distaste for this experience was not even so much the food but the customer service I received after I told him the meal was as mentioned above. He argued with me because I had initially told him “everything was fine” before I tasted my meal. I said how can I tell you sooner when I had not tried it yet. And that they go on lunch but he saw me come in and felt bad so allowed me to sit so I should have told him my meal was no good sooner.

Oh Gee the best Thai food I had in my life!!! No kidding! Was traveling from New England, it was very clean, the employees very friendly, the cook is the keeper! Amazing food!

The Thai food here will certainly fulfill your taste buds' expectations and the service is spectacular! Watch out for the spicy if you're not brave enough.

This is a beautiful little restaurant for Thai food and one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in Tampa Bay area. I have tried their fried rice and I loved it … I highly recommend their fried rice. Prices are very reasonable … Service was excellent …

First time going. Service was good. I LOVE Thai food but the food itself is mediocre and pricey for what it was. My Green Curry was almost just watery. I'm disappointed. Giving 3 stars because of the prompt service.

It appears perhaps the chef/cooks have changed. Very noticeable change in the quality of the food ordered. Rolls were undercooked and chewy, and soup had hardly any flavor and mushrooms looked old and on their way out. So disappointed! Won’t be ordering there again.

We went to Jasmine Thai for the first time based on the Tampa Magazine rating and it did not disappoint. Service was fast (but courses did not overlap) and - very - friendly. Suggestions were kindly offered and were always spot-on. The portions were dinner-size and all of them came-out of the kitchen hot (very important to my Wife). There is also a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and it is very clean (another one of my Wife's criteria). Absolutely among the best Thai you will find in our area - they are worth the trip! We highly recommend Jasmine Thai!

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. We had the Thai chili whole fried snapper, pumpkin seafood, and the custard sticky rice with coconut ice cream. The service was phenomenal and the restaurant is beautiful and spotless.
