It was a nice place to dine at night time during the weekend. The server was very nice, polite with great service. Food quality was good. You can select your spicy level for your food.

I looked up a bunch of Asian places to celebrate my 13th anniversary with my spouse, and we decided on Lan Lamoon.
We came in and it was pretty quiet, sat down immediately.
The table we were at rocked pretty bad, but the chairs were comfortable and the server was prompt and pleasant.
For the food, I'll preface this by saying I'm celiac and have to be gluten free. This place was great at accommodating my dietary needs.
We got the pineapple fried rice with chicken, some edamame, and chicken Massamun curry with a medium spice level.
The chicken pieces were very big, and in the rice they were kind of bland, but the rice itself, the craisins, and the pineapple all went together VERY well. The curry was savory and just the right level of spice. The carrots were large sizes, and my only advice would be to cut down the chicken strips and veggie sizes, and it would be perfect.
I got a mango juice drink and it was delicious. It would have been nice to have a refill offered, even if I had to pay for it.
Overall a great experience, and one I will happily be back for again.

We were in the mood for Thai cuisine and luckily found Lan Lamoon. It was among the best we've ever experienced! Every dish was delicious and tasted. I would recommend Lan Lamoon to anyone craving homemade Thai food.

Sooo good! We ordered out and everything was quick and simple. I had the crab fried rice and shrimp shumai. My husband got the Pad Thai and potstickers. Generous with the crab meat and spiced perfectly! This is definitely our date night at home go to from now on!

Best Thai in the area! Everything on the menu has been great - fresh and delicious! The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service is attentive and polite. We love this place! If you like Thai, this place should be on your list!

Great experience. My mother has the whole snapper, I had the Chicken Red Curry, and my dad had the Chicken in Yellow Curry. All were done quite well. Oh, I also had their Gyosa which is filled with chicken and cabbage I believe. Loved it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere! And the food was authentic, hot, and delicious. Our server was so polite and friendly too. I loved the background music and the interior decorations inside the restaurant. I recommend the Penang Curry with chicken, Tom Yum soup with mild spice, and the Chicken Satay Appetizer.

Only us and one other table of people so not busy. No napkins, so I got up and got them. Tea but no spoon or saucer. The meal came, no silverware. I took a friend to lunch so I ordered our meals and I ordered two take out meals to bring home. That night I started eating one of the take outs. I noticed blue on the tofu. I saw all of the tofu had blue mold on it. I had already eaten some. I picked it all out and threw it away. I ended up throwing out the whole meal. The other meal was so dry the noodles stuck together like rocks. I threw it out. This was a $100.00 lunch. I did take out some of the tofu and eat it but it had a strange sour taste. The next day I had to take pepto because of stomach pain.
I used to eat there regularly when there were different owners. Never again.

This was definitely top 3 of my worst dining experiences ever. I have absolutely zero idea how they have the 4.7 rating they do unless they achieved this by dishonest measures.
The food was decent and that’s the end of anything “good” at this restaurant. Upon being seated the 4 of us waited a literal 30 minutes before even being greeted. At that point we should have left because everything after that went as far downhill as I’ve ever experienced.
After waiting that long without even being given waters we were expected to give our entire order right then and there. We then waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks and that was after my having to get up from the table and ask for some waters at the very least. Only 2 of the 4 of us were given waters and one of our group wasn’t given the drink he ordered until we had asked 5 separate times. We had 2 of our 3 appetizers brought out but the 3rd one didn’t arrive until long after the person who had ordered it had already gotten his entree.
Speaking of entrees, 2 of the 4 were brought out 20 minutes prior to the third and then I waited another 5 minutes for my meal by which time the others in our group had entirely finished their entrees.
We then had to almost beg to pay for our meals so we could get out of that place. There was one woman working the front and I wish I could say she was overwhelmed but when we arrived there were only 2 other tables with customers. It would have taken her less than 2 minutes to get the 4 of us waters. The entire experience was a complete disaster and I felt terrible as I’m the one who suggested my friends and I go there. With service that terrible our meals should have been comped. Never, ever, ever again…..
This place should be avoided if you’re looking for even a fraction of decent service.

We stumbled onto this restaurant about 4 or 5 months ago and have become regulars. My wife is Thai, from Ban Pong Ratchaburi. We LOVE the food here, the owners are also so welcoming and accommodating, we have become on a first name basis. Moo, Jum, Minty and Min do a great job of making us feel special each and every time. The food was disgusting. Not worth the $40 I paid for. No flavored undercooked oily The portion pictures did not match the pictures online. I've never had food so bad that I couldn't finish it. When I figure out how to add pictures youll understand the how disgusting and disappointing, this food actually was. Never will come here again.

Food is very bland and tasteless. From the soup to the stir fry to the noodles. Kind of inedible. Asked for extra veggies in the stir fry and there were very little veggies. Can’t imagine what dish would have been like had I not requested extra.

Having a Thai wife and visiting Thailand a number of times, I’d say the new owners provide a Thai food experience that’s A+++.

We are a family of four with different diet preferences (omnivore and vegetarian) and this restaurant was able to accommodate all that. My husband had the chicken sweet and sour stir fry, my son had the chicken pineapple fried rice (big serving) and my daughter and i had the vegetable yellow curry and rice. My 11 yo daughter is a picky eater but this time we had to order an extra side of jasmine rice for her. She loved her curry dish! We had the coconut custard for desert which we devoured quickly. Everything was delicious! Would recommend this place :)

The hands down best Thai Food in Port Orange! I have been coming to Lan Lamoon since they first opened, and have found that they are a one of a kind jewel of a local restaurant. The chef takes exquisite care to ensure that the food is delicious and well portioned, and I have never had a bad dish! I highly recommend any of the noodle dishes, and especially the Pad Thai! I love all of the different curries, and have even tried a few of the specialty dishes! They are all delicious! 10/10!!

Hostess was very gracious! But my carryout Bangkok Duck was disappointing. For the $22 price, my container was only half full and had 3 small pieces of broccoli. Definitely not $22 worth of food!

My husband and I decided to try a new Thai place and Lan Moon Authentic Thai was it. I am so disappointed. The food has okay flavor but the portions and price is not worth it.

I ordered the Fresh Garlic stir fry with the Seafood mix. It was NOT worth the $25 dollars. It was barely 8oz of food, was so full of liquid it was soupy, and I counted 3 tiny bay scallops 2 calamari rings and the 10 shrimp. I would have been better off just ordering the shrimp for the price. There’s no way it was worth $25.

I also ordered the Chicken Larb and it’s less than 8oz of ground chicken, no lettuce or anything with it. For $14 it was a joke.

We will never eat here again. I don’t know how it has 4.7 stars on Google. It’s a ripoff.

My favorite restaurant in Daytona. The service is wonderful, the food is consistently delicious. One time they forgot my seaweed salad and ran out to my van in the rain when they realized. I was just about to back out and I saw the girl behind the counter running out to me.

I just love this place so much. It’s where I like to spend my small budget for take out when I have it available.

Walked in and were seated immediately which was good considering we did not have a reservation. We ordered but the food came out at varied times so someone that was served was finished by the time half the party had their food and by the time the last person (total of 6 people) had their food everyone was done eating. Food was ok, had ordered it Thai hot but it had no spice. Overall this place wasn’t so great. Not even sure what was in that salad item thing… Sticky rice was sticky but not really sweet…not so great

I can't believe I just found this place. Amazing service (even offered suggestions about what she personally enjoyed the most), clean and welcoming atmosphere, and the food?!?! Chicken Satay was some of the best I've ever had. The Tom Yum was was fantastic (I should have asked for extra lime, but that's my fault), Tom Kha was by far some of the best I've had, Som Tum equally as good, and the Pad Thai (in my opinion) was close to perfect. Too many restaurants overload it with sweet sauce that kills the rest of the flavor. It wasn't dry, wasn't swimming, and the pork was cooked to perfection. Spice levels of everything I ordered (mostly medium) were great as well. I can't wait until my next opportunity to eat here!!

Best Thai food I have ever had, must try the Padthai

Sadly, no Thai place has wow'd us in Florida just yet. We are used to Thai and Indian restaurants outside of DC which so many are fantastic, so I'll do my best to review what Florida has to offer.

I would say the food is 3.5 at Lan Lamoon, but I'd go back and try more things. The Krab Rangoon was very good. The galangal soup was missing Keffir Lime taste but otherwise good. The chicken drunken noodles and chicken masaman curry were good but different sauce taste for both of them than what you might find at other Thai places. We prefer Thai Erawan in Ormond, but again, this place is worth trying.

Terribly slow service with screaming child of employee. Left without receiving our meal after 50 minutes.

Was not informed that soup and vegetable roll comes with the meals so I bought two extra vegetable rolls and had to send them back.

I ordered the Panang curry, they brought out a big wide dish with a little curry sauce barely covering the bottom. The vegetables where dry and if I wanted more curry I had to pay extra. They have 4.7 stars but the food did not merit that score.

I will start off on a high note. Food is great!! However, this is how my meal arrived. The lid was clearly off one of the containers. It was $65 worth of food. I reached out to the restaurant and they were not understanding at all. They told me to take it up with doordash. They blamed the driver. FYI driver was/is great- she’s delivered to me before. She knows how to pack her stuff. I asked if I could get another curry (just one) and they said no. Thanks for being so understanding and taking accountability. Will I order again, probably. The pork larb and shrimp were delicious.
It might be helpful to let the container cool down some before putting the lid on it.

Authentic Thai Food!!! I’m half Thai and always looking for good Thai food. Luckily my friend and I came across this restaurant while we were visiting Daytona. We both got Yum Woon Sen and Pad See Ew to share and we were not disappointed! The food tasted so authentic I thought I was back in Thailand! I got to talk to the chefs to give my compliments. She explained that she made her food how it would normally tastes in Bangkok. If you are craving Thai food, check this place out.

The food here was ok. I enjoyed the flavors and design of the restaurant, however when it came to our main meals it was subpar. My friend received cold hard tofu on top of her pad Thai, which lacked flavor. Everything else was ok, but the cold tofu was a major turn off. I would’ve expected more from a place as top rated as this, so I’m assuming that it was just this one time

This Thai food is authentic. The husband and wife team up to cook you a beautiful meal, to the eyes, mouth, and stomach. They also know what Thai hot means. The staff is friendly and quick. We enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant.

Ate at dinner time with my Niece and Nephew. The food was excellent. We shared everything to try everything. Had desert too and thai tea with coconut ice cream. Everything was fresh and delicious. The portions were generous! Will come back again as soon as we can get together!

This place is a scam. The food is decent. But they deduct 20% service charge mandatory from the checks. When we saw our bill, we were shocked to see the extra 20% charged to our bill. When we asked the waitress she said they printed "service charge will be applied" in the menu. Which they did in sneaky way most customers won't even notice it including us. there is no public display about this service charge in the restaurant as well. When we asked how do you end up taking 20% since they didn't mention the % service fee in the menu, they said no tipping required as service fee is already applied. This place is total scam. When we asked questions, the waitress took the 20% off the bill.
Also we are a group of 4 ,so it is not a big group as well. We still paid 15% tip. Beware !!! Try avoid this place.

I was raised on Thai Food since I was a small child...50 years later I have enjoyed some of the best Thai money can buy. From coast to coast all the way to Bangkok....."Lan Lamoon Authentic Thai Bistro" is by far some of the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten. And I am not alone in saying this.....Every family member and friend I have brought has also registered a FIVE STAR PALLET!!!! The service is always wonderful and the owner is just the nicest lady. FIVE STARS FOREVER!!!!!!

I’m no Thai food expert, but the Pad Thai here is so much better than any other place I’ve been. It’s not even close. They’re playing Pad Thai chess and everybody else is playing Pad Thai checkers. Hopefully one day I’ll find out how good everything else is if I can resist ordering Pad Thai.

Stopped at this place on a road trip back home. Had the most thai food options I've ever seen! Highly recommend the pad zee ew and Thai milk tea. We also tried a dessert with taro cubes that was to die for! Wish we had a place like this near where we lived.

I thoroughly enjoy this place and use to order frequently (I go through craving phases, this was like a 2 month long NEED) and their food never disappoints. Ever.

One time I ordered something they ran out of and they used what was left of their resources to make me half of the serving.

The food is delicious and made with love.

Best Thai food we've had around Daytona Beach. I got the pad ki mao - there's is good. Good heat, too, as requested. Nummy!

First time trying Lan Lamoon and it was fabulous! We haven’t eaten Thai in a while because we hadn’t found a place we really loved…until today!! We went with the go to choices to try it…spring rolls, gyoza, chicken pad Thai and panaag chicken. The gyoza were chicken and delicious! The dinners were between mild and medium which was perfectly spiced for us! Restaurant is modern, very clean and the food is excellent! We highly recommend!

This place was delicious. I loved everything I ate. I had the green curry with chicken, and an appetizer of taro puffs. The curry had plenty of fresh herbs and chicken. The Thai tea I had was perfectly sweet. I would eat here again. The atmosphere was cute. I liked the decor. It would be a great place to take someone on a date.

Great Thai food, especially for the Daytona area! Try their tom yum soup (with chicken or shrimp). The pad kee mao is also great... Get it spicy if you can handle the heat!

Foods is hot and fresh. Service is very good.

Restaurant was really nice, well decorated and quaint. Everyone that worked there was really nice. Soup was delicious and so was the pad Thai. Large portions and delicious Thai tea.I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I’m from the UK and visited here with my parents who are residents. Firstly my food was absolutely delicious (Green Curry)- very authentic and the right amount of spice. Secondly, the service was brilliant. There was a problem with a couple of the dishes due to a new member of staff but the way it was handled was superb and It was corrected swiftly and without fuss and they couldn’t be more heartfelt in their apology. I wish we had this level of courtesy and attitude to solving issues in the Uk.

After living here 24 yrs we finally have an authentic Thai restaurant in our area. All others do not make the cut.
I'm so happy I don't have to leave our state to have excellent Thai food anymore. Owners are the absolute the best including their servers. Please give them a try. You won't be disappointed. .

Got takeout yesterday with friends. The Tom Yum soup was very well spiced and the mango sticky rice was delicious! Duck was pretty good too. I got the drunken noodles which had a sweet tang—less savory than noodles I’ve tried at other Thai places, so if you don’t have a sweet tooth maybe try another dish or making your order spicier? Either way I thought it was terrific! Definitely hope to be back soon.

I'm crazy about the vegetable tempura and the shrimp tempura. I love the salads too. great flavors. My friends usually get one of the curry's and love them. I go back frequently. Such friendly service. the young man that waited on me the last few times is always smiling!! If you like Thai food , you will like this place

We ate here today and had a great meal! We had Red Curry, Yellow Curry and Green Curry and all agreed that the red curry was our favorite. We also had the Chicken Larb and agreed it was the best larb we ever had. Our waiter was awesome and he brought a free ice cream for my moms birthday. He was attentive and helped to make this a special meal. Highly recommend.

Friendly service, clean environment, the food was tasty, fresh & reasonably priced.

Food is spot-on authentic. We lived in Southeast Asia for 20 years and ate in Thailand all the time.. this really tastes like the real deal. Curries are outstanding. If you like heat, order your food Thai Hot as “Hot” isn’t that spicy for true spice lovers.

I am from Washougal Washington, I have to say this was the best Thai food I have had. Very polite young couple. I would recommend this place to anyone.
