This place is a short drive for me, and I absolutely looove Thai food! The location is pretty unassuming and was strangely empty when we arrived 8:30pm on a Saturday night. I ordered the green curry. My partner ordered the pork stir fry I believe. The sauces of both of these very delicious. The vegetables in my curry could have been a little fresher (I think the peas & carrots were either previously canned or frozen), but everything considered, it was still delectable! For dessert, I was close to trying the fried bananas. But, our very polite waitress suggested we try the fried ice cream. It was heavenly, and I was glad she pointed us to it as I tend to avoid super rich desserts. The service was excellent. The food came out quickly. The prices are similar to other Thai restaurants in Sarasota. This is definitely a nice place to check out if you're looking for Thai food in this part of town.

Recently moved to town and came here for lunch. It was delightful! I ordered the lunch 'bento box' that included 2 sushi rolls, a soup, salad and spring roll. It was a lot of food! My husband ordered the Lava Roll and it was just as good and filling. The waitress was great and generous also! We will be back!!

Went with a favorite, Panang curry with shrimp, Thai hot. Spice level is as advertised. Sadly, most of the veggies were zucchini, not the normally balanced mixture I've gotten elsewhere. The dinner portion was a bit smaller than others, as well. Flavor was spot on, though.

Don’t let the humble exterior fool you. Hideko is HANDS DOWN one of The Best Asian Food Restaurants in Sarasota Bradenton!!! This place is serving dishes that keeps me coming back for more. As a picky New Orleans native, food is serious to me. After trying 14 different Asian restaurants in the area, this place has me as a life long customer.

Now in all fairness I’ve only tried 2 dishes: Chicken Fried Rice with sweet chili sauce and General Tso Chicken. Hideko’s sweet chili sauce is more sweet than spicy. The combination of this sauce and their tenderly moist, flavor packed chicken fried rice (mixed with tomatoes, onions, shallots, and egg) is tantalizingly delicious. 😋

Hideko’s General Tso Chicken is the definition of what General Tso Chicken should be: Crisp outer-coat with a tender chicken center covered in a sweet, tangy tempura base sauce. This chicken was so good, we scarfed it down.

Got my parents addicted to this place since they live around the corner. I make it a point to order from here when I visit. Super friendly service, always accurate on the orders, always fresh and delicious. As someone that loves thai food, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Got there and was seated immediately. Restaurant was very clean. Ordered the Gyoza and 4 different rolls. Service was VERY good, very fast and very friendly. The app was soo good and fresh. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Some of the best sushi I have had. Try the monster roll. 5 out of 5. Would recommend to anyone. Best local sushi and Thai spot!

The place smelled and it is not clean at all. It was stuffy and musty and there were cobwebs on the walls going to the bathroom. The food I had made me so sick. The service was bad, we got our food at all different times so half of us weren’t eating together. Definitely will not be returning.

Just picked up 5 sushi rolls and spent $70bucks. I don’t mind spending money if the quality is worth it - but that wasn’t the case here.
The spicy tuna is giving me canned tuna vibes and the screaming orgasm has more sauce than fish. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place for sushi.

The food was fine but when I wanted to order some more items, the waiter never came to take the rest of my orders. Not sure if they judge clients by race or appearance.

This is one of the best places in the area to eat. Everything I have ordered here has been phenomenal. The menu is varied and they have a large menu of teas. It's tucked into a complex with low visibility so it gets less attention than it deserves.

Pretty good if you're a bobba person they have lots of cute flavors. Pad see ew was the best dish we got but we a re a noodle family haha fried rice a little off but that's best part of dinner was the fried cheesecake. Thought it was gonna be crazy weird but it was so good :)

I been to this restaurant about 10 times and never disappointed me.
I had the Tom yum soup they never get it wrong is very good with a nice shrimp flavor.
I like it Thi spicy and it wakes me up. 😄
I ask the wait person to choose my entrée and she cose Tempura shrimp which I was surprised by her choice but I guess fried food is always safe.
But it was very nicely done. The Tempura batter was light not burnt or oily tasting, it was complimented with a sweet basil mild spicy sauce which I really like. I wanted to ask for more sauce but I would have ending ordering more shrimp.
Vegetables where nice and crisp not too many which I like because usually they tend to over do it.
Rice was the only think I did not like very much. No that it was not good but it was not moist as usual a litte dry so it was not sticky.
I like to pick it up with my hands and make a little ball and get some of the sauce on the plate just like bread.
Service was very nice as usual.
I will definitely go back.

Accidentally ran into a family member here, I've been going for a few years now and their food s great. I had a special there years ago which tasted and looked amazing. They send plates out looking beautiful.

I used to go to this place at least once a week. The food here is very delicious whether you get the Thai food or the sushi. It always comes out amazing. The place is clean and the staff are super friendly. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to come often anymore since moving to University and starting my career in another city. I miss this place, but if you’re in the area you should definitely check it out!

I am a sushi enthusiast and this is my new favorite sushi place! Each sushi has a unique but flavorful, deliciousness to them. My 2 personal favorite rolls they have there are the Baba Roll and the Lava Special Roll, I highly recommend checking this place out!

First time ordering today. WOW! Amazing food. We had 2 different soups, several stir fries and sushi. Everything was excellent. I opted for "hot" on the spicy scale. It was perfect.
Best Thai food I have had in a while.

The staff are very friendly. I ordered the Pad See Eew which is my favorite Thai dish. Although it was flavorful it did not have enough Thai soy sauce and Thai black soy sauce and had too much sugar. The vegetables were not the usual ones and the noodles were not the extra wide ones normally used in this dish. It was good if you're not very familiar with this dish and I'm sure most people would truly enjoy it. But after living in Bangkok for 13 years I expected the same taste so I was disappointed. (And yes, I've found it made in other states more authentic). I will say again that the average person would find this quite delicious but it's not for me. I just can't give it a high star rating.

Amazing! We were pleasantly surprised! Being a snowbird from Toronto (which is hugely multicultural and a mecca for Thai food) I've had a hard time finding half-decent Thai in Sarasota. I've passed this place daily for years and kept forgetting to try it out. Maybe something about the dingy plaza turned me off, but I was so very wrong. I feel sad for all the years wasted not indulging! Totally hit the spot and made wonderful accommodations for our issues with certain additives! Everyone was moaning as they ate. We wanted to order it again the next day. No critiques... but I'd love to see them add Curry Pad Thai to the menu. Apparently it's a Toronto thing, but I'm all about bringing it to Sarasota. I think Hideko would knock it out of the park.

The JB Tempura, Spicy Tuna rolls were great. Along with the garlic and black pepper beef stir fry. I'd upload photos but I ate it too fast. Prices are good for what you get.

Good food but not authentic. I lived in Thailand and this is not authentic Thai food. I am guessing they are cooking for the American palate. The food was hot but I was very disappointed because I wanted authentic Thai food.

It's always difficult to produce quality Thai food in a restaurant format. The best Thai food you will ever taste will be in a Thai home, but these lovely Thai people do their very best and present a great product. If you are very familiar with Thai food, these accomodating folks will even make it just the way you want.

Went on a Monday night with a group of 6 people. Staff is friendly and willing to accommodate reasonable special requests. Everyone enjoyed their food. Will be going back!

The food was some of the best Thai food that i have had the privilege of eating. I say that upfront because of the story that I present. The staff are professional and adaptable. Case in point, the fire alarm went off right as my wife and I began eating our meal. There were two other tables occupied during our visit, so not many patrons were inconvenienced by this interruption, but still, the noise was pretty unbearable. One couple actually did leave. My wife and I were at a table that was directly underneath the alarm, so we received the full blast of it's message. Before we could ask for our table to be moved, the waitress told us that they were going to move some tables out in front of their restaurant. They already had a plan, and were setting it in motion.

Turns out, that before the alarm, the staff had been discussing outdoor seating. This interruption sounds like the push that they needed, because sitting outside there was actually quite nice.

Gave a good review at Christmas, however something has changed . We went back tonight and everything has changed! Had to send my meal back! Pad Thai. Was not edible! Vegan sushi not even close to what it was! Must be new owners, very sad ,as this was our favorite restaurant, we probably will not be returning. I do want to add, most of the other people seemed to be enjoying their meal that night and the workers were very nice.

Fantastic food and service! We sat at the sushi bar and ordered spicy tuna without the mayo. The sushi chef was very accommodating and made the tuna spicy without it and was sti fantastic. This place is definately a hidden gem and will be back to dine again.

Best Thai food in the Sarasota-Bradenton area! A wonderful family run restaurant where they take the time to do the small extra things that make this place so wonderful. I've never had sushi here but what I've seen look good. Every type of dish has been phenomenal. I've enjoyed a number of different curries as well as the classic pad thai and tom yum soup. If you are thinking about this restaurant you should absolutely go here in my opinion

They wrap the food in foil before putting in styrofoam and it holds in the flavor and somehow EVERY time the vegetables are cooked perfectly adente! This is a must try for Lunch or Dinner it's just amazing! My 2 favorites are the Pad Thai and the Chicken fried rice! They have amazing flavor! We absolutely love it! Best Thai in Sarasota

Food is very good. I liked the eel sushi. I'm not saying I haven't had a little bit better, but it was very good. The Pad Thai was very good. If you like hot stuff and your proud, get it Thai spicy - omg. It was hot. Just accept the fact your eyes and nose are going to run and finish it. I will go there again.
