Tried this place to go for the first time. Food only took a few minutes to be prepared. Ordered the red curry with tofu. Rice was decent. Seasoning and flavor of red curry is overall ok. Not spicy. portions are a bit less than expected, at least compared to other Thai places I’ve tried. Might try something different next time.
I’ve hesitated to eat at this place because there is something to the 1-2 star reviews at restaurants. For this particular place, there is some merit to it.
I ordered Pad Thai and rolls. For any Thai restaurant thes staples have to be nailed 100% as they are dishes that lots of people order.
The noodles were overcooked. The chicken was bland. No peanuts and no lime. There was a faint scent to the food that nearly made me gag when it was dropped off. The rolls def not fresh, def not homemade. Inside was soggy and full of oil.
Edible? Sure. Good? No. Quality? No. Will we come back? Never.
Last comment. There was one server for 6 tables and one of them had 12 guests at dinner time. My food came before the appetizer. Unsatisfactory.
Nope. Never again... There are many Thai restaurants that are way better, more authentic and have a decent atmosphere.
Not a single dish includes lemon grass by the way. And the special Thai chicken wings are just fried chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce on the side. We tried several dishes. None of them were impressive at all. If you like this type of food, you have never tried real Thai food before.
I would come here often to pick up takeout because it’s close to my house. However, each time I come it gets worse and worse, and I always order the same thing - chicken pad see ew and a Thai iced tea. Today was the last straw. The food portion was absolutely abysmal and the prices went up significantly from a few months ago. The chicken pad see ew not long ago was $13.95 and it now went up to $15.95. The large tea used to be $5, and now it’s close to $8.
The taste was alright, but I remember it being a lot better in the past. It seems they’re cutting corners little by little and hoping the customer doesn’t notice. I’ll be going elsewhere from now on, even if it means I have to drive a little further.
Not Worth the Price
I was really looking forward to trying Lemon Grass Thai, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. I ordered the Pad Thai, Panang Curry, and veggie egg rolls, but we left feeling disappointed.
The Panang Curry had a good flavor, but the curry sauce was lacking- it felt more like a container of veggies with a splash of sauce. While I appreciate the generous portions, the balance was off compared to what most other Thai restaurants serve.
The Pad Thai, however, was the biggest letdown. This is a Thai staple, but it was completely dry, lacking the essential sauce that provides the flavorf and satisfying. It just didn’t hit the mark.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Lemon Grass Thai unless they make some improvements to their portions and preparation.
Food is always great, been coming here for years and they never fail.
My go-tos are always pad Thai, beef drunken noodles and the crab Rangoons with a Thai tea
Came here for the first time and loved it! The food was tasty and the gentleman who helped us was super friendly.

This is my first time here and Scott was super helpful in helping me decide what I would like to fit my dietary restrictions. Although I ordered to go, ill definitely return to dine in. It

Wow. I had been going here a lot for 15 years. An experience tonight made me decide to never go here again. My boyfriend placed an order for mild panang curry and showed the water the order, and told him she likes Mild. He brings the food home and it doesn't look like panang curry and when I start eating it it's very very hot. I asked my boyfriend what he ordered he said panang mild. I called the restaurant because it was too hot to eat and they said Oh sorry maybe the kitchen made a mistake. Then he said that no the mistake was my boyfriend's. My boyfriend said he did order panang mild even if the ticket was wrong. He refused to give a credit for the meal because he said it was our fault. I was shocked! This was definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I believe this was a bad decision. I will never go here again and find another Thai restaurant to love.
The food was great and the service seemed a little odd and we found the decor kinda boring to be honest.
This is a corner lot hole-in-the-wall on commuter alley Bloomingdale. For a Friday night, it was almost completely empty, but then we watched take-out after take-out orders being picked up.
Hubby and I had been coming on and off for years and the food was always good, but service was inconsistent.
This time, I was here with a girlfriend.
After we ordered the soup, the waiter brought shrimp crisps with home-made duck sauce (free). Oh yum. So much better than the Chinese corn syrup version.
Then Tom Ka soup. It was very good, and a bit lighter than some others that I've had, which is a good thing.
Next, Yum Duck salad. It was the size of an entree and very tasty.
Then, entree, but I was too full, so I took it home.
My husband likes noodles, so I got the Pad Se-Ew for him (to go). It was sweet, and he didn't like it.
I got myself the beef basil entree to go (since I was full). Well. It didn't make it until the next day. Possibly the best Thai basil I've ever had.
My friend ordered the cashew dish and she loved it and it was so much that she took half of it home. Amounts are relative to the person, so someone else, especially a guy, may have finished it.
Their prices are pre-Covid, unless you order a specialty. Beef is priced the same as pork and chicken. Where can you get a beef noodle dish, beef curry, beef basil for under fourteen?
The waiter was incredibly nice and courteous. We stayed a bit after dinner, catching up. He brought pineapple and water melon for dessert (free). We stayed longer. He brought wonton chips with a sweet drizzle (free and yum). I know it only costs pennies, but it was very courteous and attentive.
Then we found out it was just him and the chef in the back. Kudos.
This has just become my favorite girlsnightout go-to place.
Been here twice and it has never disappointed the guy that drives the Toyota Supra was awesome and hella nice sorry that I didn’t ask for your name I will definitely be coming here after work from now on when I’m craving some Thai fried fried and chicken wings 😅
Delicious food, and amazing service. The staff is wonderful. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
I order from this restaurant regularly the Pad Thai is great I usually get the Fried Tofu one. It's quite authentic tasting, I always notice the shallots, bean sprouts the noodles are cooked great and fish sauce and peanut sauce help to balance out the dish.
I love ordering it spicy with the peppers and chili flakes however not Thai hot I'm used to the Indian level of spice. It's also served with crushed peanuts and a lime.
They give you a generous portion and it's worth the price you pay for this reason I order from them frequently.
I've tried many Thai restaurants it's hard to find ones in our area that serve a decent fried tofu or duck Pad Thai the only ones I really prefer that or squid. Lemon Grass has one of the most amazing Fried Tofu and Squid Pad Thai's.
The flavors were exquisite and Scott is an excellent host. Wish we had time to try everything on the menu, the Pad Thai and Pad Sew Ew were excellent - fresh ingredients and artfully presented. We’ll be back!
Great restaurant
This is the best pad Thai in town , I have tried lots of places and this one is the best
I just got an Uber order from this spot, absolutely great taste but the serving size I received for Thai beef noodle soup menu option was insulting. Barley 3 meatballs and 3 small pieces of beef sliced up.. I might as well have just ordered noodles nd broth. Please fix your servings so people don’t have to give you bad reviews! Otherwise it would’ve been great with the balance of having more meat.
We always get the yellow curry and panang curry sooooo yummy!!
We happened upon here when a restaurant nearby had a wait. SO glad we did!! Brandon, our waiter, was fantastic, and all our food was so yummy!! Better than I expected! Loved the presentation as well! Highly recommend this place!!

Last comment. There was one server for 6 tables and one of them had 12 guests at dinner time. My food came before the appetizer. Unsatisfactory.
I got the drunken noodles with tofu (hesitantly) because tofu is hit or miss for me. It’s fried and had the best texture I’ve ever had. Drunken noodles and veggie egg rolls were great. I only dropped one star because I didn’t love the Cabernet. The service was really good too. Check this place out.
I prefer the young lady for my server. She was working in the kitchen. She is an asset to the restaurant. Very kind and knowledgeable and friendly.
Probably the best Thai food in Riverview area. Everything is delicious here and nicely presented. Highly recommend!
May be it’s because we went 40mins before closing
Tofu was not fresh It was very firm and quantity was very less
But the guy serving was friendly
Food was good 👍
Some of the most delicious Thai food I've ever had. Fresh food, great portions, friendly staff! Casual atmosphere.
My family of 5 went to eat here, and the price came below $100! Really good food and good proportions. Calm environment and quick service. We'll definitely come back!
At the risk of being mean, this is one of the worst Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. I got take out egg plant that was not Thai egg plant but regular US egg plant that was tempura. My wife’s veggie dish was barely cooked. The restaurant itself is dated and looks dirty. I have to strike this from future outings.
Finally tried Lemon Grass Thai today and we’re very glad we did. We’ve been passing it up because of where it’s located and it’s never busy… the Pork Panhang Curry is delicious and my husband loved his chicken cashew! This will be our new Thai restaurant when in Brandon.
They used to serve buffet before cov19, after pandemic, don't plan to do buffet ...
We ordered 3 meals for dinner. The sauces were like water. Not tasty at all. I like Thai food, but this was the worst Thai food I ever had. I won't go back there.
Awesome Thai food. Good service. Used to have a lunch buffet. Sadly they don't do it anymore.
Portion are to small and very little meat
Will not go back, to many other choices
Food was watery
Some may think ordering chicken fried rice is boring, not here. Order the Thai style fried rice with extra chicken and extra veggies. I am a farmers daughter and I love that they surprise me with a different veggie variety every time!
Had the fresh spring rolls and shrimp pineapple curry. It was amazing. Highly recommend. Food was great and service was amazing. Will definitely come back.
Nope. Never again... There are many Thai restaurants that are way better, more authentic and have a decent atmosphere.

Always good quality and quick service
Chicken Pad Thai was amazing! Got it medium spicy and it was so fresh and flavorful!
Great food, service is good, could be cleaner.
Best pad Thai I’ve ever had!!!!! Decent portion and great flavor!! Will be back for sure!
I'll be back
I've ordered the chicken fried rice way over priced and NO FlAVOR!!!😤
Great food! Prices are up there, but the food is worth it. Hubby and I are always pleased. Even our 7yo likes their food and he’s so picky! Def recommend!
This place is awesome. Green yellow red wvery thing u
Is SO good!
Got Pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai was very oily and some noodles were dry and the flavor was lackluster. Found a small straight black hair in the noodles which made me stop eating after a couple of bites. The spring rolls weren’t bad! The peanut sauce (I’m guessing) was a bit oily as well but tasted good.
Very sub par Thai food. Lacks flavor
We are here after bike riding and we all loved our food and the service we received. The restaurant was clean and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. The menu has many choices, even for vegetarians. I would definitely eat here again!
I ordered Dunkan noodles and Tom yam soup. I never had such a bad tom yam soup. 3 shrimps with sour soup. No other vegetables, no spice. Duncan noodles didn't meet my expectations either. I will never ever order from here again.
I love this restaurant. The buffet is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
This place is still using the OMG COVID. The company is still not open for dinning in . Also what you see on the menu they don't have or it close enough of what you have ordered. So I should have made it myself or did some research
Love the different curries: have probably tried them all. Pad Thai is very good. Of you can't handle the heat, do NOT get Thai hot! I like spicy foods and medium is good for me. As of May 2022, they are still not open for restaurant dining. Take out only.
Good noodles
I visit this area 2-3 times a year and this is the best Thai food I've found in Brandon.
Food is fair. I will not be returning.
Much better places to get Thai food. Try Thai Prime for great Thai food.
Rica comida
Worst Thai food I think I’ve ever had.
I ordered the yellow curry, which is my favorite Thai dish the guy said was one of their best, and there were so many things wrong with it:
- The portion of rice was very small, enough for a half order
- The rice was not fresh at all; it was dry and hard and you could tell had been made a while ago
- The curry was so thin it was like water. Tasted watered down too. Not much flavor.
- The potatoes and onions were both undercooked. Raw onions and hard potatoes are gross.
Even the Thai spicy wasn’t that hot. The only thing done right was the chicken was cooked through. Will not be going back here.
I really love the curry puffs and Thai fried rice with chicken. It was good. The guy at the take-out window was really nice.
Always do friendly there! The food is great, portion size is perfect. Thank you for all you do. This is the Brandon/Riverview location
Used to go often but food quality has gone way down.
Not only did I drive 15 miles to not have the option of the lunch buffet, but they are take out only now.
The yellow curry is amazing. The food is always good here, 10/10 for sure :)
Ordered from Uber eats and spent $70. Soup was not full... a few pieces of chicken. No lettuce or cabbage for the Nam Sod. It was ok. Pad prig King was half filled. Eggplant was not worth 18.. I used to think this was my favorite place. I will never get food from here again!
This is our favorite Thai restaurant. They have two locations. Both fabulous! So grateful the Brandon location has managed to stay open thru the pandemic with take out service. Our favs are Panang Curry and Pad Ba Me. They handle my special dietary needs with care. Great place to eat!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Living in riverview and having slim to none options for food, I resort to Uber Eats and I can say that without fail, each and every time I order from here because I want Thai food so bad (and they’re the only option) I regret it. This is the third and LAST time I will ever order here. My first experience, I ordered the massaman curry with chicken and was surprised to see that they charged extra for any type of protein…crazy since their base price for some veggies was set at $12.95. I wanted extra veggies which they charged an additional $2 on. The reason I bring up price is because you’d think if you’re paying that much for a simple Thai meal…it would be a good portion…it’s not. I have ordered from many many Thai restaurants (I am Asian and have ate Thai my whole life btw) and I will 100% recommend Tuk Tuk Thai if you’re in the riverview area. My order today came HALF FULL, with burnt rice and no bell peppers even though that’s what I ordered. Please spend your money with another small business who cares like Tuk Tuk Thai.
This place should be embarrassed to call themselves Thai food. They didn't even cook their rice. We ordered via Postmates and the three orders of jasmine rice were so under cooked it was crunchy and dry. They cooked their sticky rice in Ziploc bags! 🤮 The green curry I ordered was yellow curry and flavorless. The fried tofu was not marinated in any sauce prior to being fried and was bland and disgusting. The pork larb was ok-ish but they didn't use enough lime juice or fish sauce so it too was very bland. My mom is from Thailand and I have been to Thailand several times. I don't know where the chef is from but maybe once they ate a microwave meal called "Thai food" and thought they could open a Thai restaurant but they don't know what they're doing in the kitchen and should just stop serving this awful food and taking people's hard earned money. I would rather eat out of a dumpster than get food from this place again. So very sad that an Asian place can't even get the basics like rice cooked properly.
Absolutely delicious. Super short wait time, especially for the large amount we ordered. I really appreciated all the covid precautions they take in order to have as little contact as possible.
Also, the Tom Kha Soup is exquisite. My only complaint is that they don’t sell it in gallons.
Excellent food and service!
Worst Thai food ever eaten. Food was tasteless, greasy and had no similarities of the dozens of r Thai restaurants my wife and I have eaten in. Do not waste your money on this poor imitation of a restaurant.
We ordered grouper fillet with chillies sauce and shrimps fried rice. Chillies sauce supposed to be spicy but what I get was sweet. and cost about 45 dollars.
It was bit expensive for two dishes.
My sister lives this place. Solid food.
I ordered pad Thai. Flavor was good but I got only three whole shrimp. However, I did get 9 additional shrimp heads in my meal, without bodies. Any way you look at it it’s wrong. I called but got no response. My wife enjoyed her green curry but I won’t go back. I think the action exemplifies their attitude.
Very nice place ! Clean and the young lady working there was very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the tai pad with chicken med spicy and it was PERFECT!! I LOVED IT AND THE TAI TEA was awesome 👌 👏 will be back ... Soon.
Another lunch break fav. 💕 the food is always seasoned with the best spices and full of flavor.
I dont enjoy giving bad reviews, but food was 1 star quality. That's all.
I’ve been here a few times and typically Lemongrass has been a solid 4 star restaurant. Pretty consistent and mostly done well. Unfortunately since Covid, Lemongrass just hasn’t been as reliable. They only serve food togo right now, which is fine, but if I were to only offer my food togo.... I’d want to make sure I was preparing and packaging it in the best possible way for my customers to enjoy. For example, other Thai restaurants will put the protein (in this case, the crispy duck) on the side of the sauce so it doesn’t get soggy. Ours basically had the sauce poured all over it, causing the “crispy” duck to be super soggy. I also ordered the seafood red curry and the seafood wasn’t fresh, was over cooked and the little bit of red curry that I could scrap from the bottom of my foil packaging had very little flavor. The Soup was okay. Veggie roll was okay. Everything just kinda fell short and was overall disappointing. We want to support our local small businesses and totally understand that times are hard right now, but even something as simple as serving the sauce on the side for Togo’s and utilizing fresh ingredients makes all the difference.
This place is very quaint and has delicious food! They're COVID-conscious, friendly, and quick. I've only had Thai a handful of times in my life, so I can't compare them to other Thai places, but I enjoyed their Chicken Pad Thai so much. Very flavorful, large portions!
Honestly some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever had, hands down. At least it was over priced too. Too many choices around here to ever consider it again.
Greasy...
Take out only! Great tasting food
Chicken Pad Thai did not look like the UbetEats or in-store Menu picture. Smell was weird, presentation and flavor not appetizing. Very disappointed. Ive had their chicken&veggie peanut sauce dish and their chicken soup. Both were good, but that was about 1 yr ago. New cook since then?
I used to love ordering pad see ew from here but the past several times we've gone it's lacking in flavor and been a bit disappointing. I decided to try a new salad this time which was good but we paid an extra $3 for shrimp on it and there were only three shrimp. Seriously, a dollar a piece for cocktail shrimp.
I really liked the personable service and great food.
Love the noodles here
There food is good but I see they dont put the love in there food anymore and they have jacked the price up on there food and give you so little now. I travel from Lakeland to here in bloomingdale to get there pai thai and I was very disappointed today I really have to look for a better place in Lakeland.. for me and my family thai food
Great service for the three years that I have been visiting this location. Thank you!
I’ve ordered carry out from here on 4 different occasions, and the food is consistently good, if not great. The crispy Thai wings are delicious, but they don’t give you enough dipping sauce. I always order extra. They are the best Thai wings I’ve had, bar none. The pad Thai is wonderful, but I wish there were more peanuts, sprouts, and other vegetables, as stated on the menu. It’s mostly noodles, sauce, and whatever protein you’ve chosen. I really love the flavor, though. The green curry is my favorite, although the red and panang curries were very good, as well. The crispy duck speciality is definitely worth trying, but the salmon dish was just okay. It could have had more flavor. I’d say the same about the basil sauce entree, which was also just okay. The Thai donuts were some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the Thai iced tea has been inconsistent. I always order it, and sometimes it’s great, while other times it has a bite that I don’t care for. One of my biggest overall complaints is that I cannot taste the spice unless I order hot, and it’s still not that spicy. I’m afraid to go all the way and try the Thai hot, though. I’m worried I won’t be able to tolerate the heat. I sincerely recommend this restaurant, however. It’s not only one of my favorite Thai restaurants, it’s one of my overall favorite restaurants for carry out.
Not classic Thai at all. We ask for heat and got nothing. The Thai fried rice was more like cheap Chinese fried rice. Made with frozen peas and carrots, zero heat, zero flavor. The Larb also had zeeeerro heat and was just tasteless wet chicken salad. Coconut soup tasted like watery canned coconut water, again, no flavor.
My partner and I have ordered takeout several times and were never disappointed. It’s always flavorful and still hot when we pick it up, with generous portions as well.
Everything I've had is always exactly as expected. Hight quality Thai food.
Food so good make you wanna slap yo mama.... I give this restaurant five stars. Food always fresh and hot. Polite service
Delicious Simple thai buffet ...friendly staff
We got the Pad Thai and Pineapple curry. They were both amazing.
Great authentic Thai food.
Good large portion. Great service
Good Thai food in South Tampa, they know who you are and they treat you like family.
The salad buffet was really weak and there not any meat choice's. The rice was good..lol. They need to beef it up a bit
Possibly the best lunch buffet in town for the price.
Food was delish, fresh vegetables with curry. Yum.
Awesome Thai Chicken Rice
Absolutely delicious pineapple fried rice and great customer service!
Edible but not authentic.
Very good buffet if you want quick thai food! Is affordable and kids eat free! I Loved their grief chicken and red thai curry. My only issue is that the dishes had very little chicken and so much more veggies. The place is small, but we went during lunch with 2 adults and 4 kids. We got a table easy at 12pm. Right after that it got crowded.
Quality was ehh
Great experience working Real Estate clients for lunch here!
The food was very good, the buffet had a bunch of good dishes & the staff was friendly. My only wish, would be for the food to be spicier.
Wow delicious food!! Got there in time for the lunch buffet which looked delicious (& had sufficient vegetarian items for me) but since I was waiting on a friend I decided to order off the lunch menu when they arrived. The tofu in peanut sauce was outstanding. There was more than enough food since the "lunch special" came with soup and vegetable roll (& of course rice). They unexpectedly gave us these delicious chips with some honey/glaze for dessert & I kind of wish they didn't since they were addictive. We did not finish them only bc they were so generous with them. HIGHLY recommend this place & will be back.
The chicken fried rice is delicious. Fantastic place to sit in and definitely for takeout. Our orders were ready on time.
Good food and the portion size is wonderful
Very good
The food was just ok. I saw the reviews and was expecting something better. I had shrimp padthai and thai fried rice. The fried rice was pretty good but the padthai wasn't that great.
Fresh, tasty and filling! 👍
Lovely place! Waiters are always so nice.
Delicious Thai food! Great service.
Great food and service!
