I Decided to go get a couple of appetizers to try. When going in it is just a small little restaurant with only a couple of tables. I ordered the spring rolls,and a order of dumplings to go.
When I got home the food was still hot and look okay. The dumpling was hot fresh and tasted good. The Spring rolls were hot and crunchy. The taste was good, but there wasn't enough filling in the spring rolls!
I feel they should have on their menu what type of oil they use so people with allergies will know. The spring rolls really did need more filling. It look like they had put just the bare minimum of filling. The dumplings were good, and had enough filling. The sweet soy sauce was a little too sweet for my family's taste.
In conclusion I feel like this restaurant has potential and hope they continue to improve. I will be back to try it again to see if they do improve.

After been surround with "just ok" Thai food, I was surprised by the quality and flavor from Thai to Go! With most Thai restaurants tasting the same its hard to find one that really stands out, and this one sure does! Some of our favorite dishes were pineapple fried rice and all the noodle dishes. The downside of this restaurant is that there is no real dining room and is primarily takeout. I will gladly drive the extra distance for this restaurant.

Picked up absolutely delicious Ginger Chicken.

The lady can be rude. Food is great. The first time I was there, we wanted to eat there at one of the tables but they were dirty and lady wouldn't clear them and told us to go. Also yellow curry didn't have bell peppers. Satay wasn't on a stick, but small pieces of chicken in foil. Everything tasted great though.

We have eaten Thai food all over the U.S. and in some of the very best places. This place has INCREDIBLE FOOD! Do not let the outside fool you. There is a gas station and vape shop on either side which would make someone pass on by or think it is not very good. BUT, it has some of the best dishes for LOW prices you will ever see. Seafood panang, duck, and more were just so good. Do not pass this up while near Ocala.

We were on our way home when we just came to this small place . The restaurant is small and food was delicious. We took left over home and I can wait to have it for lunch tomorrow. If you are in this area, I would highly recommend this place. 😃

The lady owner is very rude. I initially went there to pick up one order. Which they were already delayed with. And I just wanted to inform the owner that I was now waiting for two orders instead of one. So she wouldn't think I was only there for one. And she started right away giving me attitude saying that they were busy. When I wasn't complaining about the wait time, even though they only started the first order when I got there. I was just trying to let them know that instead of one order, now I was picking up two. But even though after explaining she didn't care to listen all she cared about was giving attitude and shaking her head. Really rude and unprofessional. I walked out. I won't eat here and I will not recommend it to anybody.

We ordered 3 dishes for to go ; stir fry pork basil with steam rice, pad thai and pad se-ew (stir fry flat rice noodle in black sauce).
All were so much delicious and worth money. We will come back for sure.

I placed an order for food pick on a busy night and was told that order would take 40 min. No problem, busy night I was there in 55 min I figured enough time to get food done. No, food not done not until 35 min later while waiting in the parking lot. I understand being busy and short handed just let me know to come in in one and a half hours and I will, no problem. The parking lot is small with lots of activity specially on a Friday night not a good spot to be waiting 35 min. Very good food, but very poorly managed establishment.

This place had great reviews and we decided to give it a shot. I’m sure the food is great, but the quality control is an issue. We ordered from grub hub and specifically requested in the notes that the food be made vegan. I get it, not everyone eats the way I do, but I’m highly allergic to fish sauce and eggs really don’t sit well with my stomach. I called and was greeted by a lady that said there were no notes on grub hub - basically told me that I didn’t type it out. We just wasted $52 on food we cannot eat. She didn’t bother offering us a replacement to make it right. I just moved to town and was looking for a new Thai restaurant that actually cares about their customers and pays attention to the small details, because they matter. One bite of this fried rice and my throat would have swelled up. The least you could have done was remake it, or tell us to come back in tomorrow instead of telling me I was wrong and risking a trip to the emergency room. I will change my review if this is actually taken care of properly. Until then, I’ll find somewhere else to take my business.

Food was decent, I’ve had better drunken noodle before. No spice when requested and forgot my Thai tea. Probably won’t order again after a poor first experience.

A good friend recommended Thai To Go because I had a serious craving for some good authentic Thai food. I went in today and was was immediately greeted by a friendly women (I'll get to know her name later because I will most certainly make this a regular spot).
I ordered the Pad Thai with an order of spring rolls and it was amazing! The portion! I am going to be able to eat on this for two days if I'm able to put the fork down! My noodles were cooked perfectly, my food was perfectly sauced and seasoned, and spring roll was crisp.
Do not let the location fool you! Other reviewers have said the same thing! Come in with an open mind and an empty stomach and you will make this your go to as well!

To be honest they have the best Chinese food out there. The pork fried rice you can order it how ever you want it (with or with out veggies & extra onions) and it is the softest rice we have ever had. The meat that we get is usually sweet&sour chicken is nice and crisp on the outside. Def the best in town!!

Out of the way little joint acceptable Thai food. We were driving by on the way to The Villages when we saw the sign. My wife is Thai, and we had been here three weeks and were missing some spicy Thai food. What a find. The two ladies were very nice and surprised that I spoke Thai when I stuck my head in and said Sawasdee! We sat for a couple hours and ate and chatted. Very plain place, as are most Thai restaurants, just a couple of small tables. In Thailand we live in the northeast, and these ladies cook good country-style fare, good flavor, fire-spicy if you want it (we did). Stop in and get something yummy!

This place is affordable but the noodle dishes are not good. The noodles are soggy and break apart because they have been cooked too long. Also the rice is mushy and old tasting. I'm not trying to be unkind. I'm just very familiar with Thai food and this place is not good. Also the curries have too many bamboo shoots and not enough of the other veggies. The cashew dish was loaded with onions. I love onions but it was too much. The curry favors are not bad.

We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai (very generous amount of shrimp), Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry, and a bunch of appetizers. In Jersey we used to get an appetizer sampler that brought a lot of different things but Thai to Go does not offer such thing. We had to order each appetizer separately... we received a lot of food but worry not, our little toddler is helping us out. We ALL enjoyed !

For the price you can’t really complain. The Pad Thai little plane for my taste. The banana coins were amazing. Also the Thai tea is pretty good for the price. It’s a little small and a little hard to eat in the place because of the smell.

I haven't had Thai food in several years. I googled Thai restaurants and found Thai to Go. I live about 30 minutes away so we decided to take a ride and check them out. We opted to eat in as we didn't want to have to re-heat the food when we got home. Thai food doesn't reheat well.

The restaurant is a hole in the wall sort of place in a small strip mall between a run down convenience store and a vape shop. They had 3 tables of which to sit but they were mainly a take out place. The people working there were extremely friendly and made you feel at ease.

The menu was small and many of the items offered were simply pictures posted on the wall. No descriptions just a picture, name, and the price. Thai to Go has your standard spring rolls, pad thai, chicken satay, and curry. They also offered thai soups and thai salads. The prices were reasonable but higher than most Chinese restaurants. Portions were nice.

As far as the food it was real hit or miss. The yellow curry was amazing in taste. It was a generous portion. The chicken satay was ok. The chicken strips were thin and they seemed to be reheated. The dish was served with very little peanut sauce which also tasted old. The shrimp tempura was very nice and well executed. There was no oily taste whatsoever and not salty. The springs rolls were small and had very little filling. The yum duck salad was ok but lacked meat and had way too many red onions.

One dish we had was flat out terrible. It was supposed to be stir fried vegetables. It was cabbage, broccoli, and green beans floating in a pool of cabbage water. The cabbage was almost raw. No spices or anything to make it palatable. This dish was so bad we couldn't eat it. At the end of the meal I pointed out our dissatisfaction with the dish and asked them to remove it from the bill. They said no problem and took it off.

Overall Thai to Go is pretty good but not as fantastic as all these reviews here state. Certainly not 5 stars. They deserve 3.5 at best based on our experience. To each his own I guess. I would stick with the curry myself and avoid the stir fry vegetables. Would I go back again? Probably. However there were several items on the menu I would not order again.

Being a Singaporean, this reminds me of authentic Thai Food ..The best Thai food .
