I ordered a lobster pad thai and a vegetable soup with unsweetened tea. They have a large screen TV and I enjoyed the NHL playoffs while eating pad thai at this restaurant. The lobster I believe was on special this night in May so I ordered this. It tasted well and the service was fast. Thanks alot

To be fair, this trip was more for the nostalgia meal. Bangkok Bangkok was our favorite date-place in the mid 80s, and I think the last time we ate there was around late 87.

It was disappointing to find the restaurant was half the size and no longer had the seating pit tables.

We ordered the chicken satay appetizer. A plate with a cast iron hibachi, Seared chicken skewers with sides of Cucumber sauce & peanut sauce arrived. I plucked off one of the two chicken skewers that were placed on the fire, taking the first bite. It felt spongy so I pulled the chicken of the stick, cut it lengthwise and realized I'd just eaten raw poultry. I chose a 2nd skewer, which was fully cooked, but I'd lost my appetite for satay.

Hubs had ordered the Earth Wind & Fire II. He had to wait a few minutes for our server to bring out rice. His dish was very good, just as remembered.

I'd ordered the Pad Preo Warn with chicken. My dish arrived with shrimp & had to be returned. It was delivered just a few minutes later. It was just a tad spicier than ordered, but still very delicious and just as I remembered.

We had to have separate checks for business purposes, and
I noticed there was already an 18% surcharge added.

Overall the food was good, the service was good. The location has ample parking & easy access. But I'll no longer crave a meal there, which is good since we live 6 hours away.

The foods were AMAZING!!!

-Grilled prawns: I can’t remember the name of this dish (sorry)
You can taste char from the grill on the prawns. I love that flavor. The sauce was almost like a teriyaki but wasn’t. So good with the white rice.

-Green Papaya salad:
Probably one of the best Papaya salads I’ve ever had! Not one ingredient was overpowering than the other. Made perfectly!

-Smokey & the bandit:
The re-freshening ingredients and quality of flavors. What a great combination!

A classic Thai restaurant in Kendall that I have t been to in many years. I remembered it the other night and there kitchen is still very consistent. I arrived at 8pm on a weekday with a craving for spicy pad Thai. Service was good, food was delicious and most importantly... the food was hot, temperature-hot. Nothing better than a steaming plate of pad Thai. Can't wait to see them again and I wish them well.

Beyond amazing. We had the duck, pad thai, and beef (option 17 or 19 in the lunch menu, it was recommended by the waiter and she was so on point. ) Can not recommend this enough. And VERY affordable.

Savory delights! Very flavorful Thai food served nice and hot. I really love when they serve Chicken Satay on the lil firepot Sterno thingy very primal and beautiful. Good portion too! The chicken was like BUTTAH lol soft and tasty, not chewy. Had the Gang Garee and Lovely Ginger Chicken. Even the Thai Donuts melted in your mouth.Been coming here for years and highly recommend!!

Hadn’t been here in over 20 years not bc it’s bad but bc there are other Thai restaurants closer. Every dish was excellent and service was excellent. I’ll definitely remember to go back sooner.

If you grew up in West Kendall then you have to know this restaurant. I’ve been going there since the mid 80s. I thought it had closed, but it didn’t. My wife & I went there tonight & the food & service is still phenomenal. I highly recommended if you’re in West Kendall area.

Like always the best service from any restaurant that I've been to. In a long time, we got there right when they were closing, they asked if we would like to take it out,

We ordered A Soup and Tofu and took it home and enjoyed it.

The food is GREAT. The vibe and service are good, just not great. It's suffering from lack of effort in that respect. However... the food! Really good rolls and they still serve Miami's best Thai food.

To me, the food was really high priced. I expected the main dish to come with soup or salad, but it didn't. It seems you have to order that separate, which makes this place even more expensive. All my life I've eaten in Chinese and Thai restaurants where soup comes with the main dish.

I understand inflation has made things tougher. While I can afford the food I still like to get value and don't feel like throwing my money around.

I left without ordering any food and went to a nearby Chinese restaurant where the food was awesome, and i got value for my money.

This is my first time ordering sushi here and it was good. I ordered the number 7 from the lunch menu. It came with sushi, sashimi, California roll and teriyaki steak with vegetables.

They used to have the best Pad Thai I have ever had. Their quality has gone down immensely and it’s so sad. I’m not sure if they have different cooks that make it, but the last few times we have bought it in the last few months (around 4) only once was it like it used to be.

Fresh and tasty, pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Personally, I like their Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, and Coconut Shrimp Soup. Be careful when ordering "spicy"... "medium" is plenty 🔥 for an American palate.

If you like spicy food then try spicy red duck curry. Level 7…. Excellent service!

Espectacular. Fuimos el día de mi cumpleaños. La comida muy buena. Eramos 10 personas y pedimos platos diferentes. Todos muy bien hechos. El sushi buenísimo. Pero realmente todo estaba sabroso. La atención muy amable y rápida. La chica que nos atendió fue especialmente amable. Siempre sonreía. Las porciones grandes y el precio razonable. Lo recomiendo mucho y seguro que volveremos.

Went for lunch and we ordered 3 soups (Tom kha kai) shrimp/ coconut milk. When we received them they were really thick,
but even worse, they were beyond sweet. Too sugary. Almost like drinking maple syrup. My son didnt even like it and he is 5.
When I brought it up to waitress (only person there) she responded that's how we make it. I then pointed at 2 1/2 full soups that were not going to be eaten cause they were really bad...too sweet. She just shrugged her shoulders and s I then asked for the check.

I had the earth air fire 2 extra spicy level 3 with chicken. Staff was courteous attentive and helpful in understanding the menu. I noticed a lot of takeout is done here. Room was intimate and comfortable with enough space between tables.

There’s nothing bad to say about this place. I love that they have Thai food and Japanese food. Everything always tastes excellent. I love their selection of sushi, and all of the different Thai curries too. When my other favorite Thai restaurant is closed, I definitely come here because they’re that good!

A disaster of a night. No manager, one of the waitresses was waiting tables and cooking. Usually not a bad experience but today was unacceptable. Food took forever. Beef satay came out with little grill that kept turning off. We had a to go order container with a soup that was improperly closed and spilled all over one of our parties legs. The broth almost caused a burn. All we got was sorry for the wait with continued waiting. No one at management level to make it right.

I have known about this restaurant since 2016 when we moved from California & have been very please with their food, it’s very authentic, the service has been great & the price it’s fair. I have visited more their Coral Gables location & the Kendal twice with today’s visit, the food it’s the same at both places👍🏼 but I’m giving them a 4 stars today because when I asked for some spicy sauce for my food I was told that they didn’t have any other than the very mild one that they had served me, and I didn’t said anything else, but thought to myself what kind of Thai, Mexican, or Indian food restaurant could ever say that they don’t have HOT 🥵 sauce😳

My family and I were a group of 4 and we were the only table, yet the service was slow... check your bill because we were charged more for the beef satay. Also 18% tip service automatically charged. Due to the slow service and incorrect charge on our bill, we asked for the tip to be removed and we gave the amount we thought was just. Server was Very defensive and blamed the chef for the slow service. Again, we were the only ones in the restaurant ...

Very disappointed in lack of customer service given to me during our last visit. We ordered take out and when we got home we realized several issues with our order including missing items. I called and spoke with manager who said they put everything in the bag and wouldn’t budge when I told her they had not. No apology, no let me fix that for you, no nothing! Total disregard for what one of their regular customers was saying was wrong. Too many other local businesses around that value their customers for me to return to Bangkok Bangkok in Kendall.

This restaurant is one of those places that 15 years ago was great but today they are a sad reminder of what happens when a restaurant goes bad. Average food with an attitude and very poor customer service. I paid $107.00 for 5 meals and when they got it wrong it was my mistake. If you want great Thai food go to Fugihanna around the corner, they are nice people with great food...oh, and no attitude.

You can't beat the price. Stumbled open the place. All you can eat. I needed water. My waitress or server was on her phone 90% of the time. Food was ok.

This is a nice cozy little place with about 10 tables & another 4 or so outside. Fairly new looking with contemporary feel. Wood paneling provides warm feel. Service is ok & bathroom is clean. Parking is a little crowded with all the other retailers but plenty of spaces. They serve Pho which was ok. A Pho enthusiast would be disappointed. A bit too salty & condiments were stale. Freshness is the essence of Pho. Ask for the hot souce & they'll bring you a variety of three, dried, in vinegar, in fish sauce. The varieties are nice. It's a Thai restaurant with a Shusi bar! So you have options.

This used to be my favorite place but the service is terrible except for Andrew. Andrew is amazing and he will make you change your mind about this place. Em on the other hand gives extremely poor service even though she knows us and sees us at the restaurant 3-4 times a week. The food has gone down in quality and the service is SO poor. The service is extremely bad even though the food is good. I gave a one star rating because I used to eat at this restaurant at least 3 times a week and today I ate at the restaurant and ate a Mee Crob (which is really good) but it normally comes with 2 shrimp, 2 pieces of chicken, and 2 pieces of steak. Today it had 1 shrimp and 1 piece of chicken. We asked the waitress if they had changed the Mee Crob so she took it to the kitchen. When she came back she told us that the Chef said that this is the only time that we can send the food back and that is the only time she is adding an extra shrimp. To me that is appalling (especially because we are customers that come SO often). The service is honestly SO BAD I can’t come here anymore.
