THAI Chili Pepper is the leading Asian cuisine restaurant in Lutz, FL. For over five years, we have been committed to bringing authentic Asian and Thai food that's not only fit to our customers' taste buds, but also true to its origins. Each of our signature dishes is packed with our core ingredient, the Thai chili pepper, which is often used as flavoring in Thai cooking. Whether you're craving curry, Pad Thai, wings, a rice dish, or soup, we have it here served with an extra kick of spiciness.
Very tasty! I can't believe this place wasn't busier! The food was so fresh! Springrolls were incredible-dipping sauces were creamy and flavorful. We ordered off the 'chefs special' menu. Both dishes had generous portions and were delicious! Great flavors, spice caddy packed a nice heat! Thai tea is large. We will definitely visit again!
It was our first time in and we had waitress Mary. She was attentive and friendly and provided excellent service. The springs rolls were fresh and came out hot. I got Pad Thai and my wife got the pumpkin vegetable curry. Both dishes were prepared correctly and were very tasty. I would give this place a thumbs up and look forward to our return.
I take my mother here regularly but I recently just took my daughter and we had a blast! I ordered broccoli and tofu with garlic sauce. The serving was just right! My daughter ordered the chicken with drunken noodle and vegetables …we requested the spice rack to control the temperature of the dish and it was perfect!! Love this restaurant and highly recommend!!
Our server was by the name of Brain, and to be honest, I don't know how he did it. We were there for lunch, and he was fantastic. There were about 7 tables he waited on at the same time during the rush with two cooks in the back and handled the front of the house very well for being that busy. Overall, it was great service. Things took a little longer than usual, but it was worth the wait when tasting such good Thai. It puts some other Thai restaurants in the area to shame. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai.
Thai Chilli Pepper in Lutz is a fantastic spot for everyone! I come here with my daughter and grandchildren. There is plenty of choices. The eggplant with vegetables is one of my favorites..it's cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavors. The green curry is another standout, rich and aromatic with just the right amount of spice. Every visit is a treat, and the quality of the food always impresses. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine!
After suffering through several average Thai places, we stopped here for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and the portion size was just right. We really liked the clear labeling for the heat level options for dishes since I like it hot and my wife prefers very mild. We will definitely be back.
Food and service are ok. They added a 4% transaction charge to the total. I think it is wrong as I intended to pay cash. I own a business. The transaction service fee from a credit card company is usually around 2.5%. I think this kind of hidden cost of 4% is not a great experience. Our grandson is a 7 year old boy. We asked the waitress if they have some small food like fried chicken for him. She went to speak to the chef and told us that the cook was not willing to prepare a small dish of fried chicken. It was not even busy at all. We went to McDonald after the meal for my grandson.
Tom Yum Soup was fire. Drunken Noodles was fire too but I wanted it to be more spicy 🌶️
Our servers were amazing

If you want authentic Thai cuisine then this is the place! Prepare to be blown away at both the taste and presentation! Chef level creations and you definitely get more than you expect. My goto place for Thai cuisine. Great service and wonderful tasting food... What's not to love!
This is a very nice restaurant, the variety of the food and prices are awesome , super nice thai food highly recommended, the staff super professional also super nice environment
Will come back 100%
Great delicious food. We had Pad Thai and yellow curry and ginger chicken dish. The service was good and prices were reasonable.
Ordered this in tonight and it was great! Very hot tasty food! I could tell it was fresh and it was packaged with care. Would definitely order again!
Great service,plus delicious food.
Our waitress was incredible. Very warm and friendly which made our experience great. The food likewise was great as well.
Food was great. Service was horrible. Took 15 min to get 2 Cokes and a water.
Apps came out with no napkins or plates. Had to ask 3 times for a refill. Servers constantly coming by saying sorry.
Over priced for what is.
Place looks run down.
Order the broccoli, vegetables with shrimp.
When paying $19.00 for a meal.item, I'd expect the calls removed from the shrimp & the dish now drowning in a bland sauce.
For 3 people the bill came to $66.++
Food is delicious!!
A wonderful environment with the music and decor. The food was delicious and the service was even better. Nita was our server and offered great recommendations and very attentive service. I will definitely be coming back for more.
Nita was our server and she was spectacular! she made us feel right at home and recommended amazing dishes! her attitude and knowledge about the restaurant was top tier! definitely coming back to see her!
This was not our first choice but the other place did not open till way too late. However this did not disappoint AT ALL. We went about an hour before closing. The only people coming in were pick up orders, door dash and Uber eats. Anyway we sat down as instructed by our fantabulos waiter. Think her name was Mary maybe Marie 😀 Hubby and I realized she looked like the lady on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. We showed her pics and she was ecstatic. Ok not only was she so lively and excited she was working those orders coming in and just genuinely pleasant. Ok the real meat and potatoes or should I say savory thai cuisine. I had the Lemongrass honey chicken and hubby had the chili duckling, sorry no pics. We had the most amazing Bangkok wings for our appetizer. Everything was delicious. The Thai tea needed some assistance but the food was pleasantly and surprisingly delicious. We will be back without a doubt. This was a random date night for hubby and I as well
I feel bad it's taken me so long to write this review. Several weeks ago I had the BEST Thai food I think I've ever had at this little place, and I'm still thinking about it!
This is one of our favorites. Everything we have ever ordered has been delicious. Great service and staff. Never a wait. Such a neighborhood gem! Highly recommend.

First time trying this place. Very good. Lemongrass honey chicken was fantastic. Pot stickers really good. Thanks for the great food chefs.👍
Very little meat is served with the dinners.
I was expecting this to be some takee-outee place but I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of seating with contemporary Thai art on the walls. They offer all the traditional thai appetizers, salads, and stir fries. An excellent Pad Thai and a large assortment of red, green, yellow, and massaman curry dishes. The real treats are the chefs specials such as lemongrass and honey chicken and soft shell crabs in chefs special sauce. The Bangkok wings will maybe be the BEST wings you've ever had!
If you love Thai food you will love this place.
The best Thai Food one can find!
Good pad Thai. Large portions. Would really be nice if there was lunch time specials.
After suffering through several average Thai places, we stopped here for dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and the portion size was just right. We really liked the clear labeling for the heat level options for dishes since I like it hot and my wife prefers very mild. We will definitely be back.
Beyond delicious, very clean, portion size is so filling and inexpensive with excellent service. We LOVE Thai Chili Pepper and we keep going back whenever we can ❤️
We stopped in for an early dinner and had a wonderful meal and service. Since it was our first time here, Lea was helpful with the menu and making sure that I was able to select what I wanted without worrying about my nut allergy.
This is the BEST Thai restaurant around! We live 40 minutes away from here and have tried 3 other Thai restaurants closer to our home. Nothing compares to this restaurant. And the service, especially, from Lea, is second to none!
I love this place! Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Both their locations are great. Spicy drunken noodles, panang curry and red curry are my favorites! They can make the curries vegan and noodles without fish sauce which is a huge thing for most vegetarians! Last couple of times they have started skimping on rice and curry portions though.
Slowest service I've ever seen. Might have been a bad night, but 30 mins in the restaurant for a to go order. Terrible, especially when the place is empty.
I had the pleasure of eating tonight for a pre birthday celebration with a good friend who introduced me to this restaurant. I must say "What a Wonderful Experience " Great food, atmosphere and excellent service. My dish was the Salmon with Fried Rice along with the fresh Spring Rolls and Fried Spring Rolls as an appetizers....Yummy!!!
My waiter..."T" was Amazing...so Kind, Knowledgeable, and Attentive. Great Service Hands Down!!
I will be coming back soon!!😄
They put pineapple in the pumpkin curry ... I told them I didn't want pineapple and asked for something. Else .. I didn't take a bite.... They wanted to charge me for both meals..... BEWARE!!!!
There is no pineapple in the description. The owners are insane. This has never happened to me in my life. I have eaten here over 10 times and this is the first time I sent something back. I am totally shocked and apalled at the owners attitudes.
Worst lunch experience ever. They don't list all the food items on the menu . Returned the plate, ordered something else. After a while the waiter comes back and said, he was sorry but we are going to be charge for both meals. We'll, they took my first plate and the second one never arrived...
Horrible experience..
Decent food but extremely bad service. The young male who took my order was extremely rude. We have been coming here for a long time but the service has gotten so bad, I no longer plan to. There are plenty of other good Thai restaurants around that you can go to without subjecting you or your family to such rudeness.
Everything here is amazing!
So good and so many great options. 2nd time going and everything has been fantastic!
Oh my, the Larb Gai! Good stuff. I had never had it before and was quite impressed. Staff was genuinely friendly, and all the food was delicious. Seats were comfortable. All was good, but I am here to talk about the mystery of the bathrooms. What goes on back there? I was sitting down for 20 minutes, and this elderly attractive couple comes out of the bathroom laughing their butts off. They hang out by the front of the restaurant for a minute and then head back into the bathroom. This is getting interesting. I'm thinking there is a Narnia-esque portal to another dimension or a hidden sex dungeon. 10 minutes later, they re-emerge, pick up some to-go food from the front, and return to the bathroom. At this point, I send my wife to investigate and track these peddlers of intrigue. She said there was another door beyond the bathroom door which she was afraid to push on, but she did hear the voices of Sixpence None The Richer echoing quietly from beyond. Now I'm thinking time portal. The elderly couple are traveling through time just to get the best Larb Gai on the planet. I could not resist any longer. I asked the server what the deal was. I should have left it at that. Turns out there is a bar next door that shares the bathroom with the restaurant, and patrons often come to purchase food to take back over with them. Get me my Scooby Snacks. Another mystery solved.
Hit or miss. Have been here quite a few times and have been disappointed a few of those times. Tonight I ordered spicy fried rice with tofu. I got something labeled “SFR”. It did have rice.. no tofu, it had mushrooms (one of the few foods I dislike), and tasted mostly like fish despite having no protein.
Girlfriend’s Pad Thai was good. that’s one reliable dish here. But we can get Pad Thai anywhere.
delicious!! wish i took pictures. I had the Bangkok wings and pineapple fried rice it was so flavorful
The food is excellent! Always fresh and consistent. Everything I tried is so delicious and love the fresh herbs, spices and vegetables. The server Brian is so personable he really is exceptional at customer service. My favorite Thai food restaurant.
I love this place. Their sauces are so good. Try the Curry's you'll love them.
Great atmosphere, great service and great food, all I can say. They made my noodles pretty spicy per my request and I was satisfied with it. Will come back for sure.
Normally my wife and I have come to this restraunt for the Pad Thai but the more we come here the more disappointed we are in the quality of service. The past 2 times, my wife and I have found hair in our food. The last time we were there, the waitress also stuck her thumb in my curry and spilled a bunch on the floor next to us. Never cleaned it up, and we have to step over it on the way out.
Great staff and delicious food!
Food is very good. Go there with patience, it takes a long time to get your order; Slim staff. Tack out is the way to go.
Came an hour before closing, 8:34pm saw one table with 2 people, my 3 kidos were excited to try a new place. The waitress said we could only order to go. After a family day the last thing I wanted to do was take everyone home to eat. Won't be back, but I guess if you don't have kids you could try your luck
Our server was by the name of Brain, and to be honest, I don't know how he did it. We were there for lunch, and he was fantastic. My family have been eating and enjoying this restaurant for 3+ years now. Tonight has changed this forever. I have never been treated so disrespectful in all my 51 years.
Here is what happened:
1) 10mins on hold to place my to go order
2) Was told it'll be ready in 15mins and I waited 30mins. (I wasn't even upset)
3) I drove home and the Panang Sauce had leaked out all over the rest of the order
4) The Medium spice (which we've had before) was too spicy to even eat. So, I drive back to the restaurant to ask if they can re-make the dish.
5) the host said: THE CHEF SAID THAT WAS MEDIUM AND HE WILL NOT REMAKE IT AND NO REFUND!
This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced and I work in hospitality. I was so disappointed because we are extremely loyal to our restaurants. I hope you will reconsider going here in protest.
Great prices, great service, and the food was delicious!
I have pad see-ew with veggies. It was soooo good. The waiter was great and had a great personality. I had seen the place before but never stopped in. I'll definitely be going back.
A must try.
Happy eating!
Stopped for lunch and was blown away!
Service... BOOM, on target, and perfect! (Brian rocked it!)
Ordered Thai Iced Tea on servers recommendation, it was ok... not great.
Ordered the Honey Lemongrass Chef Specialty, and it was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat, although a bit on the sweet side. I asked for medium hot, since hot varies so much from one place to the next... and that was nice, but not hot enough.
So Brian brought out the hot sauce selection. #1 Powdered Chili, plenty hot! #2 Sriracha... decent. #3 Nam Prik Pao... Oh Yeah! #4 Spicy Fish sauce.. Ok!
I loaded up on #3, and the saltiness of that helped to calm down the sweetness of the sauce, and made all the flavors work in harmony. It was delicious! All the veggies were delicious... made this a somewhat healthy meal! ;)
Rice was good, nothing special.
Fascinating wall art... lovely stuff. I would hang in my house if I could find it.
Nice clean interior, plenty of seating. I was the first one there, and the doors were actually open before their official open time.
Would I go back... ABSOLUTELY!
Lived in Thailand years ago. This place is legit.
The food was average. The pineapple fried rice that we ordered had so much salt or MS needed that we absolutely hated it to eat it that we ordered was a cashew nut tofu. The curry was so watery and tasteless. I was really excited to try out this restaurant, but was highly disappointed.
Great on-time service from one of the better Thai restaurants in Tampa. Really liked the spicy fried rice with shrimp. Not a big fan of the TCP soft shell crab (it was fried - oily and soggy). Pad Thai and Panang curry were excellent!
Delicious as always.. service was excellent! Our go to place for Thai food!
Let me preface this review by saying that Thai chili pepper has been one of my favorite local restaurants for the last couple of years. It's always been difficult to find truly good Thai and this place was it. I hadn't been there in a while and so I went about 2 weeks ago and was stunned and taken aback when I walked in. The atmosphere changed. No people. No music. No vibe or life force in this establishment. Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but I didn't see a single Asian employee in the restaurant. Bad omen. Surely this was not the same restaurant I knew and loved. Only 2 people working and while both of them were pleasant there was no energy. I felt like an interruption in their solitude. We put the order in and when we got the food- something was missing. It looked similar but tasted slightly off- As if there were new owners and they didn't quite learn the recipes just right. Spices were different. Portions different (much smaller). Notice how I'm not describing the food. I can't describe what was completely non descript. Then the bill came . To pay this kind of money for mediocre food that barely resembles what it used to is a kick to the groin. Fresh Rolls used to be amazing. Now terrible. Tom Kha Soup was delicious and now uninspiring. I hope this was an off night and it's still the same great place that it was. I can't afford to find out...
Ordered takeout ! Did not regret it ! Our normal Thai spot was closed so we took the next best option… this May now be our normal Thai spot now! Thai basil chicken dish was the best ! Never had something like that before. The cashier who cashed me out was very friendly as well. We’ll def be back!
We had issues with Uber Eats but the restaurant helped us out and we were able to pick up our food. Excellent customer service, thank you! The food was delicious and the tofu was nice and crispy.
The best modern Thai ever!
Bryan our server was AH-MAZING!!!
Please recognize him for doing such an awesome job.
The food & service is definitely why we will come back 😊
What happened? This used to be fantastic. Vibe changed. Food changed. Ate there last night and it was like flushing $50 down toilet. Won't be back. Lifeless food. Did new owners buy the place? Fresh rolls were so bad. Sticky, wet, loosely packed and filled w lettuce. Shrimp tasted like ammonia which means they were old.
Excellent food, delcious,, and food presentation was great. Brian our server gave us great service. 5 stars
Take out order for red curry and the fresh rolls. Medium to hot on curry. Everything tasted fresh and was still hot when I got back (15 min drive). Curry was unbelievably good. Enough sauce and chicken for the rice, but not swimming in sauce. Fresh rolls were well-made, usual flavor.
Get the pad Thai and also the appetizers.
In past four months we have been to Thai Chili Peppers more than couple times. We love their delicious food and friendly service. The food tastes amazing, we love their Tom Yum soup and Drunken Noodles.
Pad Thai is delicious every time. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The food was decent here, but after my takeout order last night, I won’t be back. I ordered the fresh rolls and the shrimp inside was actually cut in half. I’m paying full price for the rolls, but am getting half portion of the protein. The sauces that came with it were also half full. Ordered two Tom Kha soups and the containers were half full and majority of it was just broth. I think there were two pieces of bell pepper, a few slivers of onion, maybe 3 pieces of mushrooms, and two small pieces of chicken. The wait staff here does not know how to handle to-go orders as they argued with me about what I paid for one of the entrees that I added extras to. Also, if I’m paying $3 for eggplant to be added to my curry, I expect there would be more than 3 small slices. Really disappointed. Customers are paying the same price, but are getting less proteins and less product all together.
Nice little find in Lutz. Food and portion size was good. The atmosphere was pleasant, not your typical take out.
Waitress was amazing and the red curry with chicken was amazing!
Great 👍
I ordered a fresh roll(without shrimp) and vegetable fried rice with tofu and brocolli and no egg. The fresh roll tasted as it should have but the fried rice was very disappointing. The total cost of these two items including tip was $40 with veg fried rice costing $25. The fried rice had literally no salt and it tasted bland. When you are charging this kind of outrageous amount, please ensure it tastes good.
Food here is amazing. And really fast service. Love coming here. Highly recommend!
Pineapple Chicken Stir Fry was excellent. However, their service goes above and beyond. Highly recommend.
Quality food!
We had an amazing experience here as first timers and had great service filled with hospitality by Lilly. Food was amazing and so was the crab Rangoon which was recommended by Lilly. We ordered chicken Panang curry chicken and pineapple fried rice
The first time I went here I ordered the Pad Thai& Thai iced tea. Delicious! The tea was a bit too sweet for me but that’s ok. The second time I went I got Pad Thai again & the server asked if I wanted it spicy. I love spicy food so I said sure. I said I’ll trust her recommendation. OMG! That was AMAZING! Hands down the best I’ve had! I highly recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant serves wonderful flavored Thai cuisine and the presentation is lovely! I had red curry, medium heat and enjoyed every bite. I wish I had taken a photo, but I was too anxious to dig in! Very nice, peaceful dining atmosphere. When in season they have great sticky rice with mango.
This place has the BEST food! The medium is very spicy (which is ok with me, but be careful). Great service. Not a fan of the cold modern atmosphere but that's just me and I love the food so much, that I'll be back soon!
Food is amazing here!
The food is okay, the dinner portions are very small, average price is $15 but for the quantity it should be $8-$10. The owners are extremely stingy, when you ask for spice they give you a container with only a pinch or maybe 2 pinches.
This was our second visit, everything was wonderful! Thai Rolls, Pad Thai, Yum Beef and Lemon Grass Honey chicken, all perfection! Super friendly and polite waiter (Evan?) made it a terrific evening. Highly recommend, we will be back soon!
I ordered the green curry chicken and it came out in literally 7 minutes which was way too fast. Was good. But I threw it up 30 minutes later. All of it. Could have been food poisoning. I'll never go back!!
Ordered takeout tonight for the first time from Thai Chili Pepper. Got drunken noodles with chicken, drunken noodles with shrimp and Panang curry with chicken. Each dish was excellent. Spice level appropriate for selections. Drunken noodles wrapped in aluminum foil in addition to Styrofoam container kept them warm. Order was ready on time. Will definitely be going back.
Food was so good and tasty. They have lots of vegetarian options. Must visit.
I am big fan of thai food. Had the papaya salad which was great! Ordered a dish that i always order in thai restaurants..Pad sew.. was WAY to sweet.. asked to swap it for something else.. the answer was we cannot do that.. you can pay for a new plate.. wrong answer... also wouldn't refund the dish..
Good food but pricey for the quantity.
I've eaten here a few times. Asked a few friends to join me. Service and food, again, was excellent. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.
Went there last night with friends. One is allergic to wheat. Cook told her items not containing wheat. Said they use rice flour. She got extremely sick. Cook admitted they mix rice flour with wheat flour. Not nice.
The Best Thai food I've found so far
Was craving thai food so I got spicy fried rice with chicken to go. I asked them to make it extra spicy and they did just that. It was phenomenal and I even had leftovers for the next day. Will definitely be back when in the area.
Our disappointment with Thai Chili Pepper has reached a whole new level tonight. Stopped in for takeout (always a mistake here) and ordered Pad Thai with duck, a bowl of chicken and rice soup, a side of yellow curry, and an order of crab rangoons. I am not exaggerating when I say that not one single item was good. The Pad Thai and the duck were dry and tasteless, the yellow curry was watery and bland, and the crab rangoons had no filling and were a whole new level of bad. The chicken and rice soup was the only possible item but in typical fashion for this restaurant, they short-change takeout orders. My “bowl” was only half full and contained only one piece of chicken. To add insult to injury, I paid double the price of the Pad Thai for upgrading from chicken to duck. Yep. They charged me $27.95 for Pad Thai that was inedible. Total bill was $50 and we threw it away. I should have just burned a $50 dollar bill. At least I could have saved myself the gas. Horrible experience!!!
Very tasty, very good service.
Delicious food and sweet people working!
This place was amazing! We had an great experience and the food was VERY tasty, but I must implore you to order online and pay before you get there, because the girl that was ringing up our food overcharged my card several times, causing it to decline my card several times and I just couldn’t figure it out and everyone was getting upset with us. Our check stated $83, then when we were having trouble the girl changed it to $87 but they were charging my card $92.90 each time without a tip added. So we overpayed because I didn’t want to deal with it anymore with the waitress so upset with us, needless to say she got screwed out of a tip because they overcharged us by so much. Anyway, best peanut sauce I’ve ever had, just pay online before you pick up. Very unfortunate.
1st time so spicy I threw it away. 2nd time waited forever. Told they were out of pork and just gave me veggies. Terrible.
This place was fantastic! The pumpkin curry was delicious, perfect amount of food and rice. They cool the spice per order so there's something for everyone.
The food is great! The chef special duck is amazing!!!!
The chef was very nasty and rude. The food was not we ordered and when we asked it to fixed he just added the cold pineapple on the plate and did not even mix it properly and when we asked he become very loud. The waitress was very nice and helpful, but it was beyond her control.
I have ordered almost everything off their menu. Everything is very good. Just becareful about the heat-spice you order. It can be SPICEY.
Very Delicious
Went for late lunch. Red Curry and Spicy Drunken Noodles w/beef was sooo good! Service was excellent as always!
Ordered pick up today and it was interesting. I ordered a medium red curry and hot green curry with pad Thai and crab Rangoon. I’m giving it three stars because when we got home and opened the container, it was like two scoops of rice in each container. I had to make a pot of rice. So, that was disappointing. I don’t know if they were being funny or there is a rice shortage. If they weren’t so far from my house I would have went back to ask them if they thought this was okay. Then they mixed up the heat levels. So they wrote medium on the red curry but it was actually HOT and the green curry was medium. But! The pad Thai was great! Crab Rangoon dipping sauce was very delicious. If I were you guys check your pickup orders to be on the safe side. Judging from a lot of these pickup orders reviews it seems that it’s a trend of them messing up orders or giving out small portions vs dining in. So check your food before you get home !
Ordered the pad thai chicken with extra chicken and came with minimal chicken.. still have 3/4 of my noodles left with zero chicken left. Wife Ordered hers extra saucy.. came same as mine. Ordered Gyoza for $7 and received 5 tiny gyoza.
Seems to be a trend by restaurants when I do pickup.
Other than that the food tastes very good. Spent $43 on those three things.
Nice place, good food and friendly service.
Short version: food might turn out to be good but isn't worth the trouble/chance. If they screw up your take out order, don't expect a refund or customer service.
Did dine in the first time we went and the food was excellent, but the restaurant smelled unpleasant and the bathrooms didn't have soap or toilet paper in most stalls (wasn't busy - we were the only ones there, true of both men's and women's rooms). But we found the food delicious, so we ordered online for pickup in a busy night before heading out of town. What a nightmare.
There were problems with three of the four items we ordered. We ordered the same entrees the same way we had during our dine in order a couple days before, and we'd been pleased with what we received (that's why we ordered the same things again). Both entrees we got this time (pickup order) were inedibly hot (spiciness) and the sauce for one was otherwise watery and lacking any flavor besides pain. Paid extra for brown rice; got white rice. Asked for dressing on the side for the salad, but nope.
Called and found out that the manager, who is apparently not at the restaurant and not available to provide customer service at dinner time on a Friday, has to approve any sort of resolution, so I am without dinner and without $70. But, supposedly, I'll be comped an amount equal to the parts of the order that were wrong whenever I come back.🙄
Tried this place out tonight & Im certain I just made the wrong selection with my dinner. I had the spicy drunken noodles w/ tofu and got them mild to medium. I normally like spice but this was a bit much for me but was able to tell that the dish itself was good. I ate my tofu so it wasn't a total waste.
Kind and quick service and good panang curry but minimal decor and oh the smell…? Plumbing/sewer issues? That needs to be fixed or disguised with some pleasant fragrances. And it’s chilli not chili…odd…
Thr food here is amazing. Seriously. Yellow curry or pineapple fried rice or duck tropical or drunken noodles....all great! Ambience is a little blah, and the servers tend to be young, inexperienced and just OK. So minus one star for that. But we don't go there for the atmosphere or the service. It's all about the amazing food.
So I’ve been to the Lutz location several times. I’m a Thai connoisseur and I travel the continental United State for work when doing so I like to try different Thai restaurants to compare. I just like to say their Tom Young soup is amounf the best I’ve had. However,,, this location seems to have a serious problem getting their orders correct. I was there today around 2:30 and the asian lady that works in the kitchen cannot seem to understand the difference between a Tom Young soup and a Tom Ka. She also doesn’t understand the difference of spicy level “hot”. What’s especially frustrating is that his is not the first time this happens to me with her. Sadly for me it’s getting to the point where I’m considering going back to my old place Bangkok Sushi on rt 54. I really don’t think it’s a training issue. I just think some people can’t or are just not able to work in restaurants…
So good but watch out. The medium spice option is very spicy and I like spicy. Totally recommend!
Good food. Prompt service.
I just picked up my order a few mins ago, got home and they left out the rice that goes with my yellow curry completely. And their phone is turned off, when I call its a non working number. I hope they can do something about this. I hate when I am missing food in an order, especially bc this dish was $16. They called me and helped resolved the issue right away. Much appreciated!
Red Curry Chicken medium spice - excellent. Second time visit enjoyed again.
I would say that my dish was fine, but the error was in asking for Thai spice. Rather than the dish being prepared with Thai chilies to bring the heat, it was thoroughly coated with chili paste. Unfortunately, the dish was extremely oily and didn't have layers to the heat.
The lettuce wraps as a starter were very tasty. The sauce was a great combo with the crispness of the veggies and nuts. I would say the lettuce served to us was a little wilted, but the dish was solid.
I love the food but there is something wrong with their sewer and it smells as soon as you walking the door. I have been there 2 times with the same awful smell. The food is delicious and I will go back there for take outs.
We get take out from this place all the time! The food here is incredible... literally all of it! Try it for yourself you can not go wrong! We try something new every time and they never disappoint!
This place was very welcoming with great taste! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the very nice hostess, and nicely told to choose our own tables. The food was nice and hot, I would suggest to get the food medium to hot flavor to get the full expierence (Drunken Noodles / Fried Rice in Pic. Only preferred suggestion is to make the sizes of veggies and Tofu smaller! Service was incredible from begin to end. Thank You!
Food tastes good but service is horrible. It's super slow when eating inside the place ! They constantly seem to mess up take out orders. This is the third time they have the order incorrect. The invoice captures right order but once you go home it's something else. Instead of vegetarian they seem to constantly mix it with chicken items. That's a big blunder! I can't convert myself to meat eater due to them. If you call and tell them about the mess up they ask you to drive back all the way with the entree to swap it. No I do not want to drive another 40 min back and forth for their error. They can easily credit or offer something free next time. They do not care about customer satisfaction. I was a loyal customer but not anymore. I do not care to drive for constant incorrect orders. Also the portion sizes seem to be exponentially decreasing from week to week. It's overpriced for the portions.
This place is a bit overpriced. I’m totally fine with paying a little more for good quality food but this place seems to want to rip you off.
I ordered 1 plate of curry and two small soups for take out and the bill was over $28. And that’s fine but the rice that came with it was such a comically small amount that I had to make more when I got home. It was about 1/3 what would be required for that amount of curry. I don’t even get why, because rice is basically free for a company. I mean if they gave me $0.12 more worth of rice it would have been plenty. They give literally about 2oz of rice (dry wt) which costs them about 6 cents. If they tripled that amount it woulda cost them only 12 more cents - and remember, this plate costs $14 and they couldn’t be bothered to put a decent amount of rice with it, which is more or less free for them? Such a scam. Avoid.
How is a company going to give a tiny amount of rice for an expensive plate of food? I was happy to pay their expensive price but felt very ripped off after I saw the rice. Sorry I will never back again because I don’t like being ripped off. But I will give the owner advice…don’t nickel and dime people…they won’t come back. You made $0.10 more profit on me by giving me a tiny bit of rice but you will never get a second order from me. Too bad because I love Thai food and woulda ordered a few times a month for my family.
Good
Good, but not great. Service was a bit less than average. A bit pricey given the décor and motif.
Ordered take out for dinner, panang curry and red curry. Portion of red curry was fine but panag curry was like leftover portion. Took a picture to email to the restaurant but didn’t have that option on the website. I called instead to give them a chance to correct it but was told that they measure all their entries and for me to drive back and show them the box in person. I told them I took a picture of it. I said whoever packed it didn’t pay attention because we got a very small portion and you can compare with the other entree. They didn’t care. Bad customer service and we were a repeat customer but never again. Very disappointed!
Good Pad Thai.
Always excellent fresh food. Very delicious!
Ordered the Tom Yum Chicken Hot and it was perfect. Great amount of heat and so many flavors and a pretty chill vibe in the restaurant.
The portion size was an insult. Didn't even fill the small take out container half way. Supposed to be a broccoli based dish. Only 4 small pieces. Paid for a side of veggies. That didn't make it into the take out bag. Paid $19 for a joke of an order.
As far as I can tell they gave me someone's left overs
Tonight was a disappointment. We have never had an issue before, but now I am not sure they will get my business again. Fried rice was flavorless. Broccoli delight had 5 pieces of broccoli and seemed like a smaller portion than usual. When we asked the waitress about this, she said this was how it was done. Mind you it was not our first time ordering this. When we said broccoli delight should have more broccoli, her response was "there is nothing I can do about it". She made no attempt to remedy the situation, or even ask the chef or management if anything could be done. After an evening of watching another table who came in about 10 minutes after us get served first, our water glass sit empty for 10+ minutes, and the waitress continously walking past us to chat with what seemed to be her friends who came to eat, refilling their water and attending to their requests; yes, we are quite disappointed. We waited so long for our food that the table next to us ordered, got food and was almost done by the time we got seved. Even waiting for lemon was 10+ minutes!
So yes, tonight was not good service and food was mediocre at best.
We had a weekday work lunch here for the first time today and it was delicious! We had Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Panang, and an order of Chicken Green Curry. The sauces were exceptionally flavorful and the perfect (not runny) consistency. Service was great as well. The portions were generous. I do wish they had a smaller lunch portion (with soup & egg roll) option available. We will be back! We've been LONG overdue for a great Thai place in Lutz!!
Very good red curry chicken!! And great service.
Very small portions for the prices
but tasty for the concept
Food is excellent staff very nice ...don't be in hurry but worth the wait ...we will go back!
I had a jasmine rice dish with vegetables and chicken it was amazing I will definitely come back. Great staff!
Banner outside said it was open until 10.30pm on weekend on Saturday and they came to table said closing at 9.30. We entered around 9 hardly had anytime to eat especially when we had 9 yr old
My all time favorite restaurant ever!!! I think about it everyday. The dishes NEVER disappoint. They’re always fresh, flavorful, and portioned appropriately. I’ve been to pretty much every Thai restaurant in the Tampa area, but no place tops TCP. The noodles are out of this world & the donuts are amazing as well. Don’t hesitate to try!
This is the best Thai food I ever had the customer service was amazing the food had big portions and a very clean dining room and nice music I’ll definitely come back here again.
Was looking for a unique late night food spot and absolutely did not disappoint. Everything ordered was delicious. 10/10.
Good food and excellent service!!
We wanted to try Thai restaurant nearby for awhile and today we decided to try this place and didn’t disappointed.
Not a traditional Thai ambiance but the food here is delicious. We tried fried spring roll, chicken satay(not as expected), Spicy Drunken Noodles and Spicy fried rice (all in medium spice level). Good portion of food and we had some leftover for Togo. Also, they have variety of veg options.
Very friendly and amazing staffing, they made sure we have everything needed and took care of us very well (impressed). Highly recommended to give a try.
My wife and I tried this place early in the week and we were back that weekend! The food is super good! And the service is great! The first time I had the Lemongrass Honey Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The second time I had the Pad See-ew a noodle dish and it was just st as good. We will be back very soon!
My fiance was in the mood for Thai food, since it was close to home. We decided to try it. I love spicy anything! It's was a very nice experience. The open floor plan, dim lighting, and nice artwork. Makes for a great flow. We had a sweet server. The Thai tea was so good and the food was fantastic! We tired a array of items! Everything was amazing. You can choose from a spice chart on how spicy you would like it. Everything was a great portion and reasonably price. We are going back for sure! Would recommend. 😊😁😀
Great food with lots of flavor! Recommend adding extra meat to your dish though. We've only ordered takeout but nice size portions for the price.
Today is the third time I have eaten at this restaurant. The food here is fresh and delicious. Excellent and delicate flavors. This is now my go-to Thai restaurant.
I had the opportunity to meet the owner of the place, and just as I assumed, they use fresh seafood and vegetables to cook their dishes, so yes cooking a whole fresh dish can take up to 45 minutes but it's Worth it, although our service was very quick.Cleanliness and service is a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ definitely in love with the Tom yum soup and the Thai sweet and sour.
Not a good experience at all. The food was not fresh
The pumpkin curry with tofu is quite good and the extra curry can go great with leftovers 😋
Incredible food and great flavors. I love that you can adjust how spicy and saucy your dish is!
