This is the first time here and will say it is just a delightful place that is perfect. It is a small place and does fill up quickly. The menu is filled with great selection.

I will say that the service was a bit slow and only had two servers with a full house. However the food came out hot!

The Tom yum soup was good and the duck with brown sauce was crispy and tasty. My wife said her fried rice was the best that she ever had!

I would definitely come back and try this place again! We enjoyed it very much.

Thai Orchid food is tasty authentic Thai Cuisine and delightful Sushi. It is a super establishment. To be waited on right away and enjoy delicious and wonderfully crafted entrees is a nice break in the day. They always greet warmly and are engaging. The restaurant is a nice getaway for a quick and delicious lunch or get together.

The food here is incredible. Service was slow but this was one of a few restaurants open after Hurricane Ian. Our server was super friendly and accomodating. Our sushi rolls were creative. Portions are huge. I wish sushi pieces were cut smaller. I could barely get the Toyota Roll in my mouth. Prices are reasonable. This restaurant was packed. There were only two workers here. They were both hustling, multitasking and not taking breaks.

I hate to divulge this best kept secret. It's a great little place.

I ordered the Pad Thai, Thai salad, Pad Se-Ew, and Thai tea to try. Restaurant was very nice inside. However, I picked up the food to go. There was only one shrimp in the pad Thai and the chicken in both dishes was SO dry I had to drink a lot of water to wash it down. The 6 pieces of broccoli in the pad se-ew didn’t taste right and was also very over cooked so I had to throw that out which left me with no vegetables.
The Thai salad was good, and the portion was a good size but the tiny dressing only allowed my to eat 1/4 of it. The Thai tea was ok, nothing exceptional. Very disappointed since it was a family owned business which I like to support, and the inside of the restaurant looked so cute.

We arrived here and it was super busy almost every table was full. There was only one server and she did her best to get to everybody. She was kind. once she took our order Everything came out quickly, but they definitely are understaffed. The food was really good we had a noodle dish, Penang curry Dish and the red snapper all of them were yummy. Well prepared. fresh! We had a glass of wine and a fresh coconut water which we really enjoyed. I think it was good value for the price.

Was in a mood for some Thai or Asian.. Friday Night, and driving by, realized we haven't gone here, ever, though it's been around for sometime. What an Awesome little place! The Orchid was 75% busy, and we managed to get a table. It seemed many regulars were here. Atmosphere is much to be desired, but the Quality of the Food, is not bad at all. We had the soup with Chicken, mushrooms, coconut milk, ginger, enjoyed it to the last drop! And then we had the Crispy Duck, which was perfectly done. And Sake for two, served hot! We will definitely be back again!

I felt the seafood soup was ok it was good just not enough for the $24 I paid I typically can take home food as leftovers but I was hungry when I left. So I guess order 2 Soups next time.

WOW!! Went here for the first time tonight, and it was fabulous! Everything we had was absolutely delicious ... Vegetable soup for appetizer, Pork Pad Thai, and Beef Curry with sweet potato. 5 ⭐

food was good but service was kid of rude cause our party of 5 are on the younger side. usually if your party is larger than 6 at restaurants you will be charged with an 18% tip added on the bill but there was only 5 of us. the chef from the back kept looking at us and typing on the computer and i guess when he saw how young we were he decided to add the 18%. we are servers and know how to tip and probably would have tipped more than 20% like we usually do at restaurants but it was rude for them to assume that since we are young we were not going to tip. food is amazing though but next time dont be added unnecessary charges.

Small but great food. Have overlooked this place so many times because of the location. But have returned many times. It's a hidden gem. Family run and super sweet and friendly staff. The specialty rolls are definitely worth a try we always get one or two. The Thai curries are also wonderful. Have never had a less than perfect meal.

Nice quaint Thai restaurant on 66th street near the Tyrone Mall area. Service was good, prices are fair and nice atmosphere. The crispy duck phad Thai was decent, duck was tender and crispy, phad Thai could have used a little help!

I get bad service, unfriendly employees every time I go there, and they add extra charges to the bill. I think I'm going to stop going, which is sad as I will miss the honey peanut chicken. I previously slowed down how often I go due to the reasons listed.

I come to this place all the time. I love it! Last night a server Kim was so unbelievably rude to me n god mother from the moment we sat at the table. I wouldn’t have came if I new the kitchen closed at 845. As I sat down at 830, online said 930 closing. I didn’t hear her say that to the other two tables that came in after us. Or rushing any of the other tables enjoying the food around us. She wouldn’t even make eye contact with us after she dropped our food. The other gentleman kindly took care of us from that point on. I’ll be back for lunch only, where the servers are nothing but kind and friendly. What super sucked was it’s one of my favorite places to eat n we were celebrating Mother’s Day dinner early.

This was a place I was looking forward to going to for a while. Walking in the interior looks really nice and authentic. It was uncrowded and only 4 tables with customers and 2 waitresses.
My wife ordered the spring roll, and I ordered sushi as an appetizer. The spring roll came out, and it was tasty. I kept waiting for my sushi.
Then it was like our waitress just disappeared. After a while, my wife was really thirsty since she went through her water and had to get up and serve herself water. Forget about getting me another beer that was definitely out of the question.
Then the dinners came out, and my sushi never made it. I told her to cancel it because it was an appetizer. I'm not sure if she even put my sushi order in.
We get our dinners, and there's no rice. She said it would take a longer before the rice was done. Why would you serve it if the entire meal is not ready.
The food was good, but I was really let down by everything else.
It's really too bad because this could be a 5 star restaurant.

We used to travel downtown to get our Thai fix, but since we've tried Thai Orchid we can stay in Kenneth City. Hands down best Pad Thai I've had, the tamarind fish sauce is so good. Sushi is on point too.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. My family and I go here and exclusively get the curry dishes. My husband and son love the green curry (Thai hot) and I order the red curry normally (mild). The aromatics and taste of the curry is amazing. My step daughter gets the pad Thai and she loves it. The service is quick and amiable. We have always enjoyed our dinners here and find ourselves dining here regularly. We will try other Thai places in the area and none can come close- either the restaurants are dirty, the service is horrible or the food is. Thai led his is none of the above and that is why we choose to dine here when we crave Thai food. Give it a try and you will be happy you did!

My favorite Thai dish is Panang chicken, so my review is based solely on that. The chicken was rubbery and the taste was not good at all. So if that's what you like you might want to go to Lanna or somewhere else.

A great place where you can keep silent poisoning! Ordered a combination of sea food, the squid was rotten and stank badly. When I told the waiter about this, he offered to cook this dish again. The tom yum soup contained a lot of vinegar and was not like the original Thai soup. Avoid this place!

Disregarded my allergies when presented 6 times with questions as to if there was problem ingredient in the food. I got very sick as they essentially looked at me and lied to my face...so I ate the dish. Will NEVER go back! NEWER OWNERS HAVE RUINED THIS OLD FAVORITE! If you have life threatening allergies they could kill you with their total disregard. Despicable

I used to absolutely love this restaurant. After tonight I will never go back. I have allergies and was very specific when ordering and asked no less than 5 times to be certain my food did not have what I am allergic to. The food was brought out and I asked again. They apologized and took the food back to be 'fixed'.. it was then brought back to me. I ate what was brought after asking even again to be certain.. and they assured me it did not have this ingredient. I had a reaction and got sick.
If you have allergies DO NOT EAT HERE. They disregard what you say and serve it anyway. I paid and left.
After I left I called to tell them what happened. I could not have been more clear in my ordering. I called to tell her that I was having a reaction and clearly was served an ingredient I am allergic to. My concern, as I told her, was that they could kill someone with a deadly allergy. They need to understand. Scary! Thankfully, I will just be sick for the next day.🥺

Not too impressed with the food. My partner had sushi. First the sushi took 20 mins to be made. And it is probably one of the most tasteless sushi we have had for a long time. I had the seafood combination with rice. The plate was warm and it tasted like a reheat. They charged $18 for it and it has like 4 shrimps and 3 squids and that’s about it. Not really impressed with the quality, quantity and price there.

Good thai food

I had Siam Steak, companion had chicken curry. Very fresh ingredients, tender meats, good-sized portions and tasty sauces. All goes well with an Ichibon beer. Prices reasonable, place is very clean with charming decor and very attentive service. Highly recommend.

This place is a bit deciving from outside, although the interior is unbelievably ornate well organized and very clean complete sushi bar that ya can sit at plus booths and tables to dine in!!
All orders are prepared to order no tanning beds for the food strictly authentic cuisine!!
Staff are pleasant and very friendly 😊 just takes some time to recieve orders , but we'll worth the wait folks...check em out you won't be disappointed 😉

I ordered online the Red curry with chicken and the Tom Kha Gai soup. I paid $8 for the soup and only had 3 small pieces of chicken and barely any vegetables. The same with the Red Curry. I paid $15 for a curry with a buch of bamboo shoots and 2 pieces of onion and 1 piece of pepper and barely any chicken. The flavors were ok . I tried others Thai places and they were pretty good ...but this one definitely needs some improvement.

We enjoyed one of the best dinners we've had in a long, long time at Thai Orchid!! The service is impeccable, all staff wear masks. The food is scrumptious. I enjoyed a curry, my husband a shrimp and vegetable dish, we took home their Gingko over sweet sticky rice. They have a diverse menu that should satisfy anyone's pallet. We didn't realize what a culinary gem we have right in our backyard. We'll be back for sure!

One of my lunch time favorites! Thai Orchid is a superb place to go if you enjoy Sushi! Small cozy restaurant with a warm welcoming atmosphere and the owners are the nicest you'll ever meet!! Always made fresh, two of my favorite selections are the Tuna Tataki appetizer and the White Fish tempura style Tampa roll!! Another favorite is the Thai Tea which features a unique combination of flavors and goes with any dish!!! Try this place out YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

This restaurant has been here a long time, service is good and food is ok. I ordered something other than traditional curry, and oh well, not really impressed. Four stars is for the curry, which any Thai restaurant should mastered.

Tried something new other than the traditional curry dishes, still just OK.

Tuna and Yellowtail so fresh and delicious! Little disappointed in the red curry dinner. Missing the kick most red curries have.
