My wife and I come to Green Papaya often, and it never disappoints. I always get Drunken Noodle, level 4 spice, and I devour it every time. My wife gets the yellow curry, level 3, and she loves the flavor. My son got the California roll which he ate with no complaints so that must mean it is tasty. We've had Gyoza on previous visits and it is so good. Definitely will be coming back to eat here again. 5/5
First time coming here and got to say the interior were amazing. Everything in there fit a great theme giving a great date night spot. Presentation of the food were excellent but I wish the taste would match the how the presentation were. Service was okay, decent to say.
Here’s what we tried :
Tom yum soup - 3/10 didn’t really like the taste honestly it tastes more of Cajun seasoning with water than anything honestly.
Gyoza - 10/10 think it was the best thing that was on the menu.
Roti canai - 7/10 it was okay I thought there would be some sort of filling in them than just being like a pancake.
Philadelphia roll - 7/10 wasn’t really my cup of tea honestly, never really had Philadelphia roll like here.
Crunch roll - 7/10 I thought this roll would be like something crunchy but nope ! Kinda misleading on that….
Thai special fried rice - 9/10 was good wished the beef was chopped better than being a gigantic piece.
Red curry w/ chicken, shrimp and beef - 7/10 wasn’t a fun really, the broccoli had a weird taste and I’ve never really had curry so watery before so caught me off guard a bit with it.
Peanut butter explosion- 8/10 it was great, but it was so much peanut butter that you can’t really taste the brownie that it was mush with.
Thai tea - 6/10 It wasnt bad to say but it just taste straight up tea with a dash of milk.
Overall it was okay, but I’ll definitely stay away from the sushi and just maybe stick with a fry rice and appetizers instead.
After seeing the huge billboard for years of this restaurant, finally had the opportunity to give it a try.
It didn’t met our expectations as it’s surely not authentic Thai food as the name claims it is or even close. I don’t even think the cook or people working here are Thai. I would call it a fusion Asian restaurant.
The basil fried rice had no flavor of basil except for the few basil leaves that were tossed in the rice. The Pad Se-Ew was lacking the sweet soy sauce flavor that is the main sauce for making this dish which you can clearly see from the picture. A true Pad Se-Ew dish will have a darker brown looking color of the noodle. The noodle was also still hard.
It started out nice, but after a couple of year I am afraid I need to find a different place to get my sushi which would be a pity since we live right next to Green Papaya. The quality of their fish went down, salmon in particular. You can see thick white lines of fat on the picture. Quality sushi is not supposed to be like that, and this is what we got after specifically asking “no fatty fish” when we submitted the order (that is what manager told us to do). Also, they don’t make sushi rice. Sushi rice is supposed to be made in a very particular order with a use of special vinegar/wine. It would give a very particular taste to the sushi rice and would help rice to keep the shape. Rice here does not have that taste and does not hold the shape. They also barely put any rice into sushi and are proud of it, but there is a reason for a balance like with anything. Anyway, unfortunately we will be looking for another place to get our sushi from.
I ordered for takeout and the food was ready extremely fast (less than 10 minutes). I had the drunken noodles which had great flavor and I thought the portion size was fair. The addition of bean sprouts was a welcome surprise as it added a different texture to the dish. I would have given it 5 stars but halfway through my meal I found a hair in my food. I get it, it happens but nonetheless it’s unappetizing when this happens.
The atmosphere was pretty good. But my friends got a 5 level spicy and it wasn't that spicy. Thai food is supposed to be spicy. Also the seafood combo doesn't hang mussles. It was pretty expensive and the taste was good but I had way better for cheaper.
Good fresh food, good portions. I like that it has a combination of more authentic dishes as well as Americanized dishes for those who are less adventurous. I recommend the pad thai, amazing curry (that's it's name), and the panag. The pineapple rice is great too.
Update: I used to frequent Green Papaya but have stopped going. On multiple occasions, my friends have gotten food poisoning when ordering fish. Food hasn’t been hot. This used to be my fave restaurant in Jax, but it’s just not as good as it used to be.
Everything I’ve ordered from here has been great (sushi, curry, soup, drinks, dessert, etc.) and thank you for having vegan options! I’m there so much the staff literally know my friends and I by now lol.
Great food
As an 8 year vegetarian, I ordered Tom Kai soup with tofu. It wasn't labeled, I started eating and realized it had chicken in it, I felt like throwing up. I called, told them what happened, they didn't understand or care about the impact on me. I asked for the soup I ordered plus a second one for free for my inconvenience, the lady spoke to the manager, it was an okay. I called 2 days later for the 2 soups, was told I got to keep the chicken one for free and they would give me a tofu one...which is what I ordered to begin with, nothing for my hassles or time. I spoke to the manager and he said that's our policy. So here's my policy, you lost a loyal long time regular customer.
The sushi here is phenomenal! The servers were super attentive and very sweet! We came during lunch, so it was a little busy, but we were sat very quickly. The atmosphere here is very welcoming as well!
My kids love coming here for the atmosphere, but the flavor of the food is disappointing.
Super unique atmosphere, very cool. Service is crazy attentive. All of the food I've tried has been great! A new favorite spot!

Very beautiful inside but the food was average.
One of my favorite places in JAX. Sushi is always good and they have such a wide variety of other dishes to choose from as well. Tried the Fried rice, Curry, and Teriyaki so far and all were exceptional.
The food was delicious, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. There was so much food though I took the leftovers home and had dinner from it. I'll definitely be going back.

Bartender made best mojito and he was very personable.
Service and Food were amazing!! I will return!!
Ordered to go. When I came in to pick up there were two ladies at the counter talking. They glanced at me, but kept talking to each other, so I stood at the counter and waited.. They glanced at me again but kept talking (about what they were going to do over the weekend)… So finally I interrupted to say I had a pickup order. They looked annoyed but got my food that was right behind them. I said “Thanks, have a nice night”, put a tip in the tip jar, and walked away. They said NOTHING. Oh, and I asked for utensils over the phone as I just moved and hadn’t unwrapped my silverware yet.. they gave me a fork and knife to eat my curry with, which I didn’t see until I got home. So cool. Cool cool cool cool. I’ll stick with Thai Orchid across the street. Thanks.
Fun place to eat Thai. Dishes were flavorful, but they might be a bit simplified or Americanized. The staff buzzes around like busy bees, which makes the place lose points for service. There's a difference between attentive and rushed service... it feels rushed here.
Staff is amazing. Always have a fantastic experience. Wish this was the standard in Jacksonville. Best quality servers and kindest staff. Food is on point and consistent every time.
Great Pad Thai and for dessert the Tuxedo Bombe was amazing!
The food here is top notch and I’ll always go here for that reason, but both occasions in which I ordered a drink, the drinks were made with cheap vodka so they tasted pretty gross. Decent service and the location is clean and looks great. Will return for more food often just wish the bar had a better menu because the bar looks great but can’t stand the drinks.
Amazing
Some server need to be improved with their customer services and how they talk or approach customer . Our 1rst server was rude (she looked like she's pregnant) but when she went to the other table ,she was all smiling and offering and asking them some details (guys with kids )
Such a fun atmosphere! I got the Tom yum soup with tofu and red curry with chicken. We shared a scorpion bowl. He got the chef special yellow curry with duck. Roti canai as appetizer. Everything was so delicious and came out so fast! We waited maybe 10 minutes for our food on a busy Friday night!! Actually don’t come here, I need to gate keep lol
We all in our family loved the food here..Quite sufficient in qty too.
Food was amazing. Highly recommend!
Amazing food quick pleasant service
Sweet staff!
I’ve always enjoyed dining here because of the excellent food, service, and atmosphere, but my most recent experience left me disappointed. After spending over $200 on a meal with my wife and children, I expected the same high level of service I’m accustomed to.
Unfortunately, when we asked for a simple brown bag instead of a plastic carry-out bag, the server gave us a hard time. This may seem like a small request, but it’s the little things that make or break the customer experience. Spending that kind of money at a restaurant should come with courtesy and respect, not unnecessary pushback over something so trivial.
I hope management addresses this with the staff because loyal customers like us deserve better. Please ensure your servers understand the importance of maintaining excellent customer service at all times. I’d love to return, but experiences like this make me think twice.
I do not recommend eating sushi here. It's honestly one of the worst sushi I've ever had. Specialty rolls are not worth the price at all. They're tiny, flavorless and not fresh.
Amazing food. Fast service. Beautiful Restaurant. When people ask my favorite sushi restaurant, I always say Green Papaya. Whether I choose to eat in or ordering to go, my food is always ready super fast and fresh. Everything on their menu has been amazing. I love the Appetizers, Tempura, Soup, Salads, Curry, Fried Rice, Noodles, and of course the sushi! I have tried many of the locations and the quality is phenomenal across the board!
I visited the restaurant at 8:20 PM after confirming over the phone that we could place our order by 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, our experience with the service was very disappointing. The server was not welcoming from the start and seemed impatient throughout our visit. She even misinformed us that we had to place our order by 8:35 PM, which contradicted the information given earlier.
This added unnecessary pressure, and we felt rushed during our meal.
Additionally, when we asked questions about whether certain items were vegetarian, the waitress responded with an arrogant attitude and gave us worried looks, making the interaction uncomfortable.
We hope this feedback helps improve your customer service standards. A more accommodating and polite approach would make the dining experience much better.
This was quite an experience. The food was exceptional, and the bartender was so nice and friendly, even with a small child.
Very bad service, they didn't even let us enjoy the food, they just wanted us to vacate the table to sit more people, we hadn't asked for the check to pay and they brought it to us, we're not going anymore :(
Green Papaya is really great, just like Lily FS Restaurant! The food is always fresh and flavorful, with a wide variety of dishes that satisfy every taste. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly and efficient.
While my favorite spot remains Lily FS Restaurant at 1706 Southside Blvd Suite 6, Jacksonville, FL 32216, Green Papaya is a fantastic place for delicious and satisfying meals!
Very beautiful restaurant. Food was really good 😊
Dined in-was great!
Has takeout-it was also great!
No complaints but nothing extraordinary. Good spot for date night but a little loud. Took a star off for service because I asked for no mushrooms twice and my dish still came out with mushrooms. No big deal as it was remade quickly. 1 Star off for food because the papaya salad had a very funky smell. I know it's made with fish sauce but it was especially funky. So much so that my date could smell from his side of table. I've ordered sushi via delivery service in the past and it was excellent.
This place is always amazing! They have several locations but this one is my favorite. Enjoyed numerous meals and items, all very tasty. Shrimp Amazing, Penang. Curry, noodles, sashimi are some of my favorites
Awsome food, service and atmosphere at excellent prices
Nice atmosphere. Thia food served here. Great place to go. The food was great 👍.
My wife and I come to Green Papaya often, and it never disappoints. I always get Drunken Noodle, level 4 spice, and I devour it every time. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai in my lifetime, and I think this is my favorite of all time. I love in Minneapolis, MN and there are quite a few wonderful Thai restaurants, I think this restaurant tops them all. Five of Five, all the way
I used to love eating here. The food used to be amazing, but recently, it's like the quality went down. I gave it one last chance and will never be going back. I honestly hope that the restaurant fixes its problems but me and my family won't be waiting that long.
Bartender Erik is the best! Makes my day, great service always!
Great place to eat, the food is amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so relaxing and welcoming.
Ambience is very good 👍🏼
I had sushi and I loved it. I like the taste and presentation is pretty. My husband has chicken fried rice and it is tasty. Would definitely visit again. I also saw they celebrated birthday for someone on the next table with song and video which was super cute 😍
Eric's a great bartender, food is always fantastic. Service is always quick and efficient.
Excellent green curry. Unique appetizer selection. Although many dishes have fish sauce/broth, there are still plenty of vegetarian options. Cool atmosphere with full wall projection of sea life.
I'm not a big sushi eater but this place rocks!

The waitress was so friendly & accommodating. The food was delicious.
Beautiful atmosphere and the food 👌 😍
I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and some steamed veggies via delivery. The Pad Thai was delicious!! I couldn't eat my food straight away but my meal was still warm once I began to dive in. The flavors of everything was also well done with there being enough sauce and a good amount of shrimp. I also liked how much egg I got. Sometimes restaurants can skimp on the egg in these kinds of dishes but that wasn't the case with Green Papaya and any bite with a bit of egg was again, super flavorful. So overall would definitely recommend this restaurant and definitely try the Pad Thai if you like those types of dishes.
I ordered for takeout and the food was ready extremely fast (less than 10 minutes). I had the drunken noodles which had great flavor and I thought the portion size was fair. This is our new favorite spot. We try something new every time and it's always delicious. The staff is attentive and works well together. Plus the projected mural is fun. We haven't sat at the bar yet, their cocktails are fun. It's almost always a little busy (which is good of course,) but we've never had to wait long for a booth.
Last time I had the eggplant curry--omg to die for!! It's hard not to get the Thai soup every time, but the menu is so big and makes it fun try new things.
Loved....loved.....this amazing place. As a first timer, this establishment impressed me alot. First of all you must know this place is beautifully decorated.
The waitstaff didn't miss a beat. Fast and professional throughout our visit.
I ordered the tom yum (shrimp) soup. Of course you can go with mild or spicy. I went for spicy. The soup didn't disappoint. We both ordered the Thai rice off the lunch menu. No complaints there either.
I'll be more than happy to return to this establishment.
I have never been inside, I always order through door dash and my food is always hot when it arrives. The lettuce wraps are amazing!
Green Papaya, we were all very happy to try the food and savor the dishes. We arrived and the Host Stand lady was very kind and we had a table quickly. Here the adventure begins, our waiter arrived and very hurriedly took our order, the starters began to arrive by the food runners, then other people picked up our empty plates, then I was trying to add another order to my order.. I looked and looked around and our waiter was not there, he was definitely nowhere to be found, we asked a young man who scared asked me if I needed something and I said to him ?? where is my waiter?? well to my surprise he was not there. Another waitress arrived to take the dessert order, well after half an hour already at the end... pluff our waiter appeared... just to give us the check!!!! hahahahaha incredible. Being a waiter is very easy like that, he never came to the table to see if we were okay or ask if we wanted something else. Well Green Papaya, know how to hire your waiters. The food tasted fresh.
I usually don’t post bad reviews but I have to. My daughter and I had lunch here and the service was awful. They seemed to be rushing us out soon as we sat down. Plates stayed at the table my daughter asked for spicy it was mild. Even leaving the whole staff including the hostess didn’t even acknowledge us or say “come back again”. I’m a server myself and I always give at least a 20% tip! First time for everything hate it had to be a restaurant with such good reviews.
It was my first visit to Green Papaya. Certainly I will return. The food was delicious, the atmosphere amazing and the service excellent.
The server, skinny shorter person with short haircut,Not welcoming, no personality, and looked like she/he hated being there. I will not be coming back again. Also, not even a "thank you" after checking out. Just turned the other way without saying anything after paying. Train your servers better, they are the face if your company.
If you have ever gone to a real Thai restaurant, you would know that this restaurant is not a real Thai restaurant.
I ordered red curry, medium spicy, it was more than medium, but it tasted like it has lots of red Chilli powder. The sauce was too much, runny liquid. I was very disappointed in the food.
Others in my group were also disappointed in the same way I was. It seems to me that this restaurant places a lot of emphasis on Ambiance, and not enough on real ,authentic Thai food taste.
I will choose not to eat at this restaurant again.....not worth it for myself and others in my group also.
The drink menu needs a major facelift. Food was terrific and the drinks we did order tasted so yummy. Great for date night!
The best restaurant in Jacksonville for sushi, fresh seafood, and an overall amazing dining experience. My favorite dish is the whole Red Snapper served with a red curry sauce. It is the best dish on the menu in my opinion. The drunken noodles is also an excellent dish that my wife and daughter like a lot.
Wonderful sushi and Thai food place in Jacksonville. Reasonably priced, fast service and delicious. Only caveat was that spicy tuna rolls had some type of crunchy wheat noodles and was not listed on menu as I'm gluten sensitive. We are still learning the menu but very good restaurant that stays busy and we will be back.
This location is very behind compared to the other ones, this one is way smaller and less clean than the one in Orange Park. The service is also terrible, our waitress was inattentive the whole night, had to flag her down for a refill. Everything was also opposite of what we asked for, asked for spicy fried rice (level 5) somehow I got the plain one and saw the man behind us turning red, so I assumed the plates were swapped by mistakes I tired to ask the lady whom brought our food out was she sure this was the Spicy one she said yes not even stopping our checking. Asked us if we wanted separate checks somehow they still ended up being rung up together, oh it took them 15 mins to fix that had to flag her down again. Will not be back the food is ok but the service here is terrible. Not sure how this one has so many good reviews.
The place is really nice but the food was marginal at best. We asked for medium spice. We got none. There was no flavor in the food at all and the service was okay. If you want more authentic Thai...There are better Thai places than this in town
I have ordered from this establishment multiple times and had my food delivered. And while the food quality and taste is great, they skimp on the portions. I ordered a Red Curry last time and when my order was delivered the entire container was filled with veggies, and no curry broth. I put a note in my order today to have less veggies and more broth, and I get a container that is ONLY HALF FULL?! completely unacceptable not to mention the restaurant out and additional $6 up charge on my order, only to give me less food?
Bring your bankroll.
1st time eating here, the food was good. I had the pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. Good food, good service.
I love the sushi, the appetizers, and most of the entrees. The food and service is consistently good.
The food is fantastic at Green Papaya and you get a lot of food for the price. The turnoff of this restaurant for me is the employee beverages lining the counters and bar along with non restaurant food containers. I would not think this would pass a health inspection. The bartender who was also waiting on us was on his phone texting the entire time, eating non restaurant food and drinking from a personal cup. If Green Papaya can manage their staff and clean up the counters this will be a gem of a place.
Very Expensive place
It was ok. Didnt feel very good after eating.
Must try. Can’t go wrong. They do a great job!
Another great location for Green Papaya. Always assured of a great meal at a Green Papaya location. Don't miss the green bean appetizer!
Wild, overly embellished plating with some really odd choices. Dry ice and LED ice volcano for a sashimi platter, chocolate sauce flourish on garlic tofu and vegetable dish. You get the idea. The service was chaotic, with all the servers sharing all the tables rather than one dedicated member of the waitstaff. At one point I caught myself imagining Chef Ramsay's reaction if he were to dine here.
Very, very, very expensive. But how else would they pay for the million billboards around Jacksonville?
It's my wife, daughter, and myself trying to get some lunch. There were only tables for 2 and tables for 6. We asked to sit at the table for six obviously and the hostess looked at us and went to talk to the manager they both looked at us and started making her way back to us. This lady asked us if we could wait 10 minutes for someone to leave when there were 3 tables available!!!! Yes we are an interracial marriage and yes we could tell it was about just that!! Racist mangers
Kids screaming and food was not as fresh as usual it seemed.
I always come for those lamb chops!!! It's so amazing!
First time and won’t be back! The sushi was horrible, unstable, and tasted awful!! I’m only giving two stars because the girl called me to substitute a roll they couldn’t make.. you’re a real one! As soon as chopsticks touched the sushi.. it crumbled. I didn’t order a rice bowl… Shrimp sauce was fire but not even that could mask the texture and taste and I LOVE SUSHI! disappointed
Food is always fantastic 😋. The service , sometimes a hit or a miss. Tonight was a miss. Started off awkward, but at the end of the evening, things were fine 🙂 👍.
Good experience for lunch today. One of the best pad kee mao in city. Mango sticky rice was good to finish palate. Presentation was gourmet. The shrimp tom yum turned out to be spicy vegetable soup with shrimps. Not sensing any lemon grass and mushrooms diced up with veggies. Can’t recommend this item.
The atmosphere was typical for this type of restaurant. The food was good. We had a party of 10 and they conveniently left the itemized receipt out of receipt tray. I’m glad that I asked for it, when they brought it I saw they added the customary 18% gratuity for large parties. I feel like they did that so that I would tip the usual 20%, which would be them receiving ap 38% tip! Just dishonest and for me, if they’ll steal from you (or try to get one over on you) they are willing to do more! I won’t go back.
Place is always top notch. Great food, amazing service, what more can you ask for?
The sushi was delicious and fresh.
My recent visit to Green Papaya Thai & Sushi Cuisine on Beach Blvd was a delightful culinary adventure. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
To start, I ordered the Tom Yum Soup, and it was an absolute flavor explosion. The spicy and sour broth, combined with fresh shrimp, mushrooms, and fragrant lemongrass, was the perfect way to awaken my taste buds.
As a sushi enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying the Dragon Roll, and it did not disappoint. The tempura shrimp and cucumber inside were complemented perfectly by the creamy avocado and savory eel on top, all finished with a delicious eel sauce. It was a visual and gastronomic delight.
For the main course, I went with the classic Pad Thai. It struck the ideal balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, with tender chicken, crunchy peanuts, and fresh bean sprouts. Each bite was a joy, and the squeeze of lime added just the right amount of zest.
To cap off the meal, I indulged in the Mango Sticky Rice. The combination of ripe, juicy mango slices with warm coconut sticky rice was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
The service was ok and highly crowded during evenings. They want us to leave the table asap we receive our order. Although the food is tasty, make sure to look for cooked and raw meat places in the same menu. Overall, it was not as good service as I expected and table sizes are small to place dishes.
So disappointed with the service in this restaurant, they are angry and rude to serve the table, the streak was so hard we couldn’t eat it . I was expecting better service and food . But the people who served are really bad they should not work there .
Pre- Mother's Day with the family. Had an amazing time. Food is fantastic. We live in Macon Georgia. We don't have a Green Papaya Restaurant. If you're ever in Jacksonville Florida please go visit this restaurant you won't be disappointed. I love Jacksonville Florida for the food, culture and shops
Two of us came in at 5:30 on a Saturday and were promptly seated; it was very busy! We were met by our server quickly and ordered a beer and a wine and the Green Papaya Sampler. Really recommend that! Crab rangoons, spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken satay and coconut shrimp were delish in a beautiful presentation! We had the Pad Seew with shrimp and Thai Basil beef (you can select your desired heat level) Everything came out quickly, as busy as they were, and was plentiful and very tasty. The prices are reasonable for the quality and amount you get.
It is such a fun place visually, with the screened wall with sharks or fish going by. Even the hall floor into the bathroom has a screen. (sorry for blurred pic). Would recommend reservations for more than two as they are very busy. It does move fast though. Fairly loud sound level, so no one will be bothered if you have noisy guests. They do a robust take out and bar as well. Definitely worth coming in!
Loved absolutely everything about this restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious no matter what you ordered. The presentation of each meal was artistic with flower arrangements and made the entire experience special.Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet casual. Drinks were great too!
What a great experience. The food, service, everything was amazing. My family and I went on a super busy day and it was still awesome!
I didn't think I liked Thai food. I was wrong. It's delicious! One of my favorite places now.
Food was outstanding 👌
Service was fast and employees were friendly. Recommend you come on an empty stomach because the prices are affordable😎🤑
One of the best spicy tuna rolls I've ever had. And I've eaten a lot of sushi and sushimi in my life. And the red curry with chicken and Jasmine rice,
Is Divine!
Fast, great service. Pad Thai was great. Huge portion. Large menu with great selection of Thai cuisine and sushi as well as apps, soups, salads, desserts and lots more! Will return again!
This was the first time I have dined here and I was happy with my visit. Pleasant, clean and friendly staff. The food was good. We had a party of 8, which 4 of our party were kids. We were all able to select items from the menu we enjoyed and the prices were reasonable. It's close to home and have more items I need to try. I plan to dine here again!
This is such a pleasure. The food is epic. I would highly suggest this place to anyone.
Green Papaya Thai and Sushi on Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida, is often praised for its diverse menu offering both Thai cuisine and sushi options. Customers often appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and the friendly service.
Amazing! Always fresh food! Dessert Sticky mango rice is outstanding !
If you enjoy quiet dinners with your loved ones to have meaningful conversations in cozy, warm, and intimate environments, then this is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for a place to practice your sign language, then this IS the place for you. This place is LOUD. It was probably around 3/4 full when we went, and the noise level was comparable to a middle school cafeteria at lunchtime. We literally had to shout (for real) to the waitress to give our orders, and even with that she still misheard some of our orders. It was an immense relief to finally step outside, and even with one of those little cars with the obnoxious mufflers going by it still seemed deathly quiet by comparison. That said, the food was quite good, although the Thai Fresh Garlic stir fry with the seafood combination that I had seemed to be missing something, so I tried to add salt but there are no salt shakers on the tables so I just made do. Both the stir fry and the Tom Kha soup that I got also seemed to contain a little too much green pepper, especially the soup since I don't remember having had Tom Kha with bell peppers in it so it took a little getting used to. Other than that the food was good, and once we got outside where we could hear each other talk my companions said they liked what they got.
Anyway, overall, the food and service are good, but just remember to bring ear protection if you decide to eat here.
The ambiance is beautiful
However, the food and drinks were lackluster
I had 2 lamb chops that were very very small and lacked flavor but the overall presentation was beautiful
I ordered a dessert for them to sing happy bday to a friend but they never did
The dessert tasted like it came out of the box because it was still frozen
There's no music and tables are very close
Best Thai food and sushi in Jacksonville. Nice decor and cocktails.
Awesome food and service. We'll definitely be back.
Very nice and fancy place for sushi and Thai food. They have the well deco style sushi bows. The light is on Pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice.
Food is excellent. I usually get take out so I can’t really say much about the dining experience but everything I’ve had so far has been really good. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Fantastic sushi! So fresh. Got the #4 spicy tuna roll. Will be back to try the Thai. Can't wait.
Really good plates and sushi , a little over priced but I guess u pay for the experience ur the foods decent
This place is very pretty. Classy. Elegant. Staff is courteous. Food was not the best Thai. The pad Thai was a bit bland.
Food was good with good portions just not quite what we remember from Thailand. Has more of an American twist to it, which isn't bad just not for us. The atmosphere however was really cool! We went with kids and they were mesmerized by the giant sharks swimming on the walls!
I recently came here for dinner with my fiancee and friends, and we had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was very good. We also get take out here regularly, and it's always great. I highly recommend the pad see ew, the pineapple fried rice, and the fried goyza!
Thai noodles with chicken excellent. Only had low 1 for spice
level. Good that they select heat level. Friendly server too
Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Will come back.
Always the freshest sashimi and tataki. Best fresh spring rolls. Fantastic curry. Service is a bit impersonal and rushed. Atmosphere is loud and hurried because they're always busy! Outdoor seating available, parking can be tight.
Wonderful service and great food! One of our favorite restaurants.
Nice atmosphere and fresh food. Not outstanding but a good place
Green Papaya Thai & Sushi Cuisine on Beach Blvd is a fantastic find! The food is consistently delicious, with a wide variety of Thai dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every dining experience enjoyable. Whether you're in the mood for Pad Thai or fresh sushi, Green Papaya delivers on taste and quality. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! I've visited other Green Papaya locations, but this one stands out, and I'll be returning mostly to this location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also, the amazing views they offer for the kids with the sea creatures from the monitor add to the delightful dining experience.
The food is always good here and the service is outstanding.
Amazing food! We both had pad thai, and it was very good, and fresh! Also had the clear soup and crab Rangoon which was also great! Also really liked the seating and interior, very beautiful and clean. We will be back!
The food is always good. The service could be more attentive. Perhaps the owner could staff a couple more peeps.
Food is really good. Service is quick and staff are all friendly and helpful.
Recommend it
Eric the bartender is one of the best in the city! Makes the best drinks and has a fantastic personality constantly making you laugh! Not to mention he was born and raised in Florida and has a plethora of information about places to go and things to see when visiting our beautiful state! The food is phenomenal in the ambiance is top-notch as well! Five stars*****
