Thai restaurant
We are long-term customers of Siam Square. Since the new ownership has taken over, many things have improved. The food preparation, and the expert care taken to create the dishes are much improved.
Some of the dishes the portions are much smaller than they used to be. The house salad is almost half what it was before new ownership. The most notable standout, is the prices. $$$
We will keep Siam Square in our rotation, but will dial back the number of visits due to the higher prices.
Recommended but with reservations.
I love the food here! I did pick up via DoorDash. The red curry with tofu and vegetables is delicious! Highly recommend. I would definitely go back and try another dish and also dine in.
This is the best Thai food you will find in the area. The service was a little slow but they were very attentive and hospitable. I ordered the spicy basil grouper and it is out of this world crispy but light. The Thai dumplings and chicken satay are a must have, so juicy and flavorful. Honestly, I could've just eaten their appetizers and been completely happy and content.
My family and I stumbled upon this place while looking for dinner and it was absolutely excellent! Even in my clan of picky eaters, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had attentive and very pleasant service. My only regret was we couldn't finish and because we're staying in a hotel we couldn't take the leftovers! Thanks!
A very nice place to eat Thai cuisine. I had the shrimp basil rolls for an appetizer and chicken panang for my entree. I usually get the fresh basil rolls because they are not deep-fried. The peanut sauce gives them a perfect flavor. The panang was not spicy at all for me, but it too had a nice flavor from the coconut milk. The quantity of both dishes is quite large, including the rice. You could easily make 2 meals out of 1.
The service was excellent with the host, cook, and manager checking on our needs. The only negative I could mention is the flooring, but it was clean. The bathroom was also clean. Additionally, there is ample parking in front to include handicap parking.
The next time you are in the mood for Thai cuisine, don't hesitate to try Siam Square Thai Cusine. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it as I did.
Ordered pad thai and asked for it to be spicy. the pad thai i got was horribly bland and had bad flavor aside from the spice. Ive had much much better. All well.
Had lunch Dec 13, 2024.
I love the food here! I did pick up via DoorDash. The red curry with tofu and vegetables is delicious! Highly recommend. I would definitely go back and try another dish and also dine in.
Really tasty they are....

I liked the curry - great service, good quality will be back
Continues to be the best Thai cuisine we’ve experienced no matter many parts of the U.S. we’ve traveled to. So when we pass through and they are opened which doesn’t happen too often cause we always regrettably come through during the hours they are closed, we make sure to order something to go!

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Thai Restaurant in the ATL Love the Red Coconut Curry!! GREAT SERVICE as well!!
Good food.
Excellent coconut soup, best I’ve had
Really disappointed I don’t know how they could sell the item for the price and even sell what they gave me it was literally 4 small pieces of mango and a tiny amount of rice if they don’t have enough of the item don’t sell cancel the order it’s sad sending something like that I paid 16 dollars for 4 pieces of mango and a quarter amount of rice. Blows my mind how the owner or manger would allow that and added dry up piece of mint. I was really looking forward to trying the sticky rice mango for the first time and it was a let down.
Delicious food! Great hidden gem in Smyrna
I'm surprised this place isn't always busy because the food is some of the best Thai in Atlanta. Went here for date night and had dumplings and coconut soup for appetizers and crab fried rice for dinner. The seasoning is simply on point and everything is so flavorful and fresh tasting. Definitely my new go to spot for Thai food!
Extremely kind and attentive people. I went here with my dad and it’s funny because he had the same idea to leave a review. I ordered the basil roll and it was delicious with the sauce. I’m a soup enthusiast and I really enjoyed the coconut soup. Even the thai tea! I wish I ordered another one. Sometimes thai tea can be a hit or miss, but I love the one I got last night. The menu items are flavorful and I would definitely come here again and recommend it to other people. I think it’s thoughtful to have pictures that show the menu items also. The atmosphere and lighting was very calming too. It’s one thing to have great food, but another to have amazing customer service :)!
Tonight was my first visit with my daughter to the restaurant. They're very nice and always smiling. I will definitely be back. The Coconut Cake is addicting, melts in your mouth. Best I've ever had. My new favorite place to eat.
Hidden gem. Dinner portions are huge, and the FULL bar has unexpectedly great and unique signature cocktails. I personally have never had a Thai iced tea martini variant until I got it here, and it’s worth coming back for on its own. Staff is very friendly, there’s a clear familial atmosphere. The inside is cozy, chic and welcoming in a way you wouldn’t guess just from driving past the plaza. Plenty of parking.
Was driving thru the Atlanta area to Florida & stopped in at this restaurant. A woman who identified herself as the owner seated me & could not have been nicer. She was very sweet & attentive & even helped me pair some of the homemade condiments with my meal. I had a dumpling appetizer, drunken noodles and the coconut cake (so delicious & fluffy). The ingredients tasted fresh, the vegetables were crunchy, the food was well seasoned & everything was served hot. I’ll definitely be going back. My only regret was that I didn’t order pad Thai to-go for the rest of my drive tomorrow. Definitely recommend this place!
Panang and fried rice was so good! Friendly staff.
The Pad Thai and spring rolls are fire.
We have been going here for a few years now and the food gets better every time. Great service from Baldo. My go to Thai food. I’m kinda picky about the chicken in Asian food but Siam always satisfies. Cashew chicken, fried rice, massaman!
Best Thai food ever! We ordered calamari, fish, vegetables, tofu, meat… Everything was delicious. They were able to accommodate a big group with reservation. That was fantastic. Definitely coming back.
First time here and we had an incredible culinary experience. My husband had the scallops with chili sauce and he said that they were the most well prepared scallops he’s ever had. I had the drunken noodles and it was superb. We also had the basil rolls and the nam sod!!!!!!! We will be back for sure.
On our way to a hotel in Marietta we stopped here for dinner and had one of the Best Thai food we have ever had! So tasty and beautiful presentation too. Waiter was smiling and very attentative even though we showed up 40 minutes before closing ;). We will definitely stop here again.
Workers were very friendly, but my main dish was really underwhelming and tasted watered down. Prices were also a bit high for what was received (quality and quantity).
A very nice place to eat Thai cuisine. I had the shrimp basil rolls for an appetizer and chicken panang for my entree. I usually get the fresh basil rolls because they are not deep-fried. This was an amazing place to eat. The new owners have reinvigorated the atmosphere and the food. Everything was so fresh and so tasty!
Great Thai restaurant. We will be back.
Lovely place on the inside and the food and staffs are amazing. I will come back if I'm ever in the area. Highly recommend the beef Salad ☺️
The short man boy wannabe bartender host judging with his eyes . Only attends people with business attire . Came here only because my truck started making noise only thing that looked appealing at this dying mall joint . The owner was much nicer than the wannabe owner
Delicious food and fine people. Great experience every time I have been there. Highly recommend.
This is a must try restaurant. The food is phenomenal and the owner and staff are both friendly and attentive. The Calamari and curry chicken is amazing!
The interior of the restaurant was nice. I guess they are going for a bit of an industrial feel. It wasn't upscale at all but it's decent.
The service was very good. It was pretty empty but the server was attentive.
The food was decent.I had a large bowl of coconut/chicken soup, $9. It was pretty tasty, like 3.5 stars. Also had the nam sod which is one of my favorite dishes. It was served barely lukewarm. He said that's how it was supposed to be. It was okay. I'll give it 3.5 for flavor.
It wasn't a memorable meal. Might have to come back bc so many Thai places aren't open for lunch on the weekend. I paid $30 with tip and water to drink. Meh!
Ko was an amazing server. Food was very authentic tasting with a more upscale ambience. Spice levels are catered towards a more typical westerner palette so if you like 🔥 ask for extra heat. Both specialty martinis will not disappoint.
Best Thai food in the area!
Delicious and well-seasoned food. The prices are high though!
A quick convenient Thai spot round Smynings- Place sit nicely off Windy Hill in the beguiling N. Cumberland area; be certain to stay alert and not miss its nondescript entrance off the causeway.
Staff are very hospitable & savage, and make takeout pickup seamless and speedy. Happy to accommodate any last minute requests.
Interior crisp, clean, nice ; nothing obnoxious, leans to a casual dining pad.
They gets special props as open All Day Saturday; unlike the other Thai spots in area.
*FOOD
Dishes r slightly above average Thai, so right on.
Start off with one of their soups; Spicy Herb is v tasty; Coconut Tofu good soup option as well.
They've the standards Pad See Ew & Pad Thai.
If looking to get juiced & blow some change, check out their Jungle Curry Prawn or Salmon Prik King.
Will b backs :)
Not only is the food amazing and flavorful, the service is impeccable. If they offer you coconut cake do yourself a favor and get that. It’s light, just sweet enough, and AMAZING.
Ordered penang curry.
One of the weakest penang curries I have had:( not flavorful at all. They don't have fresh chillies either. Was really hoping for more, having seen some good reviews.
UPDATE 5-2-23
I haven't been here for a while and could tell that this place must be under new ownership. The food is still good, but my panang was ho-hum, a bit bland missing whatever made it so flavorful and worth the hour drive to eat here. I eat Thai all over the country so I am more picky than most. It is still good, quality ingredients, etc, so a healthy choice, but it was just ok so lowered my rating from 5 to 3.
* * * *
I travel a lot and this is my favorite Thai restaurant in the U.S.A. ! The Thom Kha Coconut soup was the BEST anywhere and so was the Panang -I requested extra vegetables and it was so very good . Just the perfect amount of spice. Both dishes are gluten free. My husband LOVED the Shrimp Fried Rice. Atmosphere is great for a date or dining alone. They have a separate area for a larger group of people if needed. Will DEFINITELY be back.
We live nearby and have driven by this place so many times. We decided to try it out on a Saturday night. We were the only ones dining in but there was a lot of to-go orders while we were there. The food is delicious and they give you really big portions, so I can’t really complain about the price being a little higher than your average Thai place. The ambiance is wonderful. It’s super cute for a date night. We met the owner and she’s so nice and welcoming. The staff was polite and really fast! We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone in the area.
Excellent food good service, can’t ask for much more
Overpriced for the location and quality.
Excellent authentic thai cuisine and awesome staff!
Best Thai food in Atlanta! Eaen, one of the owners, is fantastic and such a great host! Food was awesome and fresh - very authentic! 100% recommended.
Great place for authentic Thai cuisine as well as drinks
Super good food/drinks with a nice atmosphere.
This place is awesome - my team and i literally come here every week. The food is amazing (and the drinks are the absolute best in the area), the staff is super friendly, and the place is nice, clean, and chill. Highly highly recommend come for a great meal, friendly staff, and welcoming environment!
Yummy. Fresh. Beautiful presentation. Clean. Friendly. Great bar with Very friendly oriented business. I loved it here and I will be back again and again tell them Yvonne sent you!
Best Thai food we've had.....spices are just perfect....Masaman curry to die for. You will definitely love it. PS: could have used another server.
Great little hidden gem. We went in for lunch and got the coconut soup, crab and cheese rolls, pad thai, and pad see eew. Everything was tasty but I especially loved the crab and cheese rolls.
Best Thai OTP... love the atmosphere and employees. New additions to the staff and menu are perfect! Definitely try the hot tea, basil wraps, ginger chicken and the green curry
Great food and service. They remember you when you come in. Really nice place to eat.
Quality of food has steadily declined over the last 6 months; yet, their prices have jumped to the level of a high-end Thai restaurant (which it’s not).
Dishes are perfect. New owners are a true gem. Comfortable dining experience. Fantastic birthday evening!
Food and service are fantastic. Highly recommend the pa nang chicken, get it Thai Hot if you like spicy. The new owners have always treated us great when we come in.
Run don’t walk! This was our second time here, and we are still madly in love with this place. The new owners are so nice and the food is unreal.
Love this place for the best food and service. Had not been here in a while since Covid however I was pleased to see that they are still dishing out some great food.
I ordered Pad Thai to go from here. The portion size was pretty large but the noodles didn’t have enough sauce and overall tasted a bit dry. However l, the ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and the family who owns it is extremely nice.
I stopped in by chance on my way to Atlanta, glad I found a hidden gem. The (new) owner waited on me. She and the other staff members were very attentive. The food (spicy basil chicken) and beer were delicious; the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I will definitely return next time I’m in the area!
Great food, nice interior, splendid!
Great Thai food
Tienen que facturar por El momento porque Tengo que mantenerlas por El salad de mis angelinos que Tengo que tenermis manciones
I would not recommend this restaurant to any Black people who want a decent meal in a friendly environment! You will not get it here ! I’ve visited this restaurant twice and each time the owners were very rude and rushed my family and I out ! It was evident they didn’t want Black people here. The food was only decent ,definitely not worth it! I will not return!
Excellent service and great food. This is my first time here. Never noticed it before when driving by. I love Thai and had a taste for it, so I Googled and this came up. I had my signature order: spring rolls, coconut soup, red curry with shrimp. Yummy! Everything was great and I'll be back. I definitely recommend this place.
The best Thai food in Atlanta!! Friendly staff and good service. Will be back many times!!
Excellent service and great food. I stopped in for lunch and after my experience I can't believe the place was empty. I had the fresh rolls and the spicy basil leaves with tofu and a pot of green tea. Everything was amazing, including the price. I highly recommend this place.
Wonderful Thai food. Always fresh...
Love this place
Excellent service and delicious food!!
Doesn't understand English didn't make my order correct I was super hungry and I'm still super hungry I would not recommend this place unless they take some English classes doctor griego
Great place for lunch or dinner 💯
First time going yesterday and absolutely loved it!!
The best Thai food in Smyrna. I've been ordering from them for years, and their curry is consistently delicious!
Wonderful location and calming atmosphere - soft and welcoming. Food is delicious and service is wonderful!!!
Really fresh, hot and quick. Very good service and food. Thank you!
Lunch favorite, good food and service.
I have been going to Siam for many years..
Portion size recently has been small.
No lime with pad thai😳
Not the same quality as before .
Very disappointed ..
First Thai food/curry experience and it was beyond my expectations! Will definitely be coming back!
Food is delicious! We ordered thai fried rice w'shrimp & chicken, and pad thai w/shrimp. Generous portions. Jumbo shrimps! Well cooked. The people are very kind and hospitality is A+. We ate in and they are socially distancing appropriately. This is my new thai spot!
Been ordering from Siam Square for 4 years now and it's one of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta, coming from an individual who has been to Thailand and eaten at a dozen or more Thai places around Atlanta!
Ive been going to Siam Square for yearsssssssss and lately, they cant seem to get our food right. I ask for a little spicy they give me mild or no spice at all. I was then told to ask for mild. When I ask for mild they make it with no spice. When I ask for spicy, they make it so hot you cant even eat it. When I first started going to Siam Square. The food was amazing and they would ALWAYS get it right. Now its not even hit or miss. 9 out of 10 times its not right. I couldnt help but write a review this time, because its been more than 3 times or more that this have happened and I am ordering multiple food items. I wonder if they changed management/ownership. Because the food that I am getting now is NO WHERE LIKE THE FOOD and QUALITY I use to get. Or maybe its COVID. I wish I could figure it out. But I can tell you the food is just not the same! Please get it right!!!!!
First time trying this place, and it was great! We got the chicken pad Thai and spring rolls. Ordered takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes.
Ordered Drunken Noodles here - it wasn’t particularly exemplary or good. It was okay.
Owner is awesome!
This is my first choice for Thai food. The basil rolls are amazing, as is the chicken satay, and everything else I have tried here!
Omg. I love Siam Square. Food is always hot, fresh and authentic. Customer service is always on point!
Excellent food and service, always reliable
Love this place, great service, great presentation, great food. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots.
Great Thai food with a humble dining environment.
The best there is
Good food but wait time maybe more depending on the time you visit. The spicy fried rice never disappoints!
Food was really good. Generous portions.
The owner is incredibly nice and the food is amazing! 10/10 flavor
Great food & Service!! Ordered a large lunch for my office and everything was fresh and made to perfection!! Thank you!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. We had the pad Thai and both of us cleared our plates. Service was great!
Ashley was very rude....Love this place but the customer service from ashley made them miss a sale today!
Food was pretty good but service was lack luster. Food was served timely but no one checked on us afterwards.
Decor is good. Food was good. I think they are understaff, but that didn't disappoint my visit here.
Nice meal.
Great place to be at quiet and perfect for a romantic time
spicy calamari is dope
I ordered food for my company and it was amazing! Customer service was phenomenal and they are very friendly. My company has a budget and they were able to accommodate to that. We will definitely order again! Thank you!
Best Thai place in the area. They do the classics super well, good service, coconut cake slaps.
Best Thai food in Atlanta!
Both the food and service were excellent
Highly recommend
I travel a lot and this is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the U.S.A. ! The Thom Kha Coconut soup was the BEST anywhere and so was the Panang -I requested extra vegetables and it was so very good . Just the perfect amount of spice. Both dishes are gluten free. My wife LOVED the Shrimp Fried Rice. Atmosphere is great for a date or dining alone. They have a separate area for a larger group of people if needed. Will DEFINITELY be back.
Great food, decent service
Delicious! Went there a few weeks ago and just now remembered to review it. Absolutely scrumptious red curry and our server, Dahlia, was so so helpful and kind!
Ive been waiting for 50 minutes and i still haven’t gotten my food. It’s not even busy. One of the worst customer services I’ve seen.
My family and I have eaten here before and enjoyed our dinner. However, we ordered take out and were very disappointed in the portion size. We had soup, spring rolls and two entrees. We were given a very small container of white rice which was not enough for one person! When we called to complain we were told that one 8 ounces of rice is given per order. We order Asian cruise often but never have seen such a small container of rice. The management was not understanding or apologetic.
The food here is good but the service here is horrible. We did not get our drinks until our food came out. The 2 servers were not doing anything else the whole time since we were the only table in there. Our actual waitress took our order and we did not see her until she dropped off the bill.
Too pricey for the amount of food given.
The amount of rice that was provided were peanuts to an elephant - only a very small mound, a few spoonfuls and it was over. Had to order get more rice but I received the same little amount again - as if the world has run out of rice.
The curry was okay but not the best - paying $11 + $2 tip for what I received was a total waste of lunch.
I had to get some fast food because I was still hungry afterwards.
Do not recommend coming here.
Good food but painfully slow service.
Good food, but slow service. We've been here a few times and we always have to wait to order anything.
Very nice small restaurant. Dalia (I hope I spelled that right) took excellent care of us and was extremely sweet! My yellow curry was phenomenal with the cucumber salad pairing! They're nigori unfiltered sake was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant all the way to the bronze cutlery. Definitely returning.
The drunken noodle dish is awesome
Great food!
Love the coconut soup
My favorite local Thai restaurant in Marietta. I’ve come here alone or with friends countless times over the years. 99% of the time everything has been stellar. They make the best Panang Curry I’ve had anywhere, and many of their appetizers are excellent as are their soups. Siam Square Thai Cuisine is one of those little gems of a restaurant that are almost too good to share. :)
service is lacking... but it's the best Thai food in GA
Great food. Very flavorful, except for the red curry. Kind of bland. No real flavor to me. Yellow curry is on point. By far my favorite. Staff is friendly and efficient. Quick to seat, quick to serve, and checked on me more than once.
They take forever to seat people, the food takes 30-45 minutes to arrive, they never seem to have enough staff to actually run the restaurant. We've had to leave the restaurant after waiting 10 minutes or more in the lobby, being ignored. We went back 2 or 3 times since then, same experience. We learned our lesson, STAY AWAY
I have been here a few times, the food is pretty good and they can definitely make it spicy. Normally I would give 4 stars, but received bad service on my last visit.
Edit: Changing my review to four stars based on the owner's response. I appreciate that they care about the service and I have been there other times and it was not like it was the last time, so perhaps it was just a bad day.
Very tasty, had the Siams Sguare Curry and was fantastic, good service and fast
great prices during lunch for food
Food was Amazing. I didnt get my servers name, but they should have on name badges as well.
It was my first time there, i told them the vegetables I was use to in my Thai & they made it happen..... Im a very satisfied FirstTime Customer. Trying to add pictures now
excellent food
Fast service and amazing food. Very friendly staff.
What a wasted trip/money. 🤬😡🤬. When I placed my order for Pad Thai I really thought the guy was listening. I excluded several things from the dish only to end up w/it anyway. He even repeated it back to me. Go figure. Unfortunately, I couldn't convince my husband to get his money back. Needless to say we won't go back. Despite it all, I tried giving it a chance; however, it had an underwhelming flavor/taste. If you've had their Pad Thai and think it's good, spoiler alert...it's not! Be open & try some others.
Great Thai food! I loved this place, the food was excellent as well as the Thai tea. The portions are a perfect size and the heat was as well. Food came out promptly and I will definitely be going back again.
