They reached out almost immediately and sincerely apologized for a mix-up in orders and preparation of food. Galanga provided a do-over meal so my husband and I could try their food again. I am pleased with the quality of the chicken Pad Thai and beef Pad See Ew. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavor did not disappoint. Our samosas and mini spring rolls were crispy and fresh. I am very pleased with the meal we enjoyed but what I have found most impressive is the one of a kind customer service provided by management at Galanga. I will definitely visit again!

hai food is one of my absolute favorites, and Galanga Thai truly exceeded my expectations! The quality and flavor of the dishes were outstanding.

While we enjoyed classics like Pad Thai but we also tried some less common dishes, including Duck Pancakes, Pineapple Coconut Fried Rice, and Panang Curry. Everything was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Every dish we had was delicious, and I would absolutely eat here again. If you’re a fan of flavorful, high-quality Thai food, Galanga Thai is a must-visit!

This has been our local go to restaurant for Thai food. My family and I have been coming here for years. I’ve been to Thailand several times so trust when I say the food is good. It’s never too crowded. Perfect ambience to have a chill night while enjoying a delicious meal.

Takeout review: didn't eat in the restaurant. Plenty of parking in the commuter lots one block north, just be careful not to take a numbered spot (or pay if you do). Had high hopes for our meal, but about the best thing I can say is it was relatively cheap, and the food quality was on par with most other Thai places we've tried across the island. Unfortunately, that means it wasn't great ... definitely not authentic Thai, its more akin to that knockoff Thai you get at Chinese restaurants. Maybe a notch above that, but still ... not a great Thai place.

We love this place and eat here about every other week. The combination of the food, service and the laid-back atmosphere makes this place a home run. (I've had better Thai food, but not around here!) Their entrees are VERY reasonably priced and the servings are nice portions. My daughter loves the Drunken Noodles and my wife's favorite is the Pad Thai. I prefer the curry's and also love the spicy shrimp with string beans and jasmine rice. The waiter is so nice and attentive. We never feel rushed or ignored.

We've had most of the appetizers and really loved the fried calamari with the Thai sauce. The spring rolls are also excellent.
The duck pancakes were good as are ALL the dumplings! The chicken satay was dry and I just wasn't a fan of the Indian bread.

And don't forget the green tea or one of the special Thai teas to go along with your meals.

Got one order of pineapple fried rice no peas and one order of Thai cream fried rice..they put the cream on the pinapple fried rice and nothing on the second order so both dishes were ruined

Tried it and wasn't impressed much. The beef was tender. The shrimp dumplings had a very strong fishy taste like they were bad. Had to ask for chopsticks, and the place had a weird off-putting smell.

I wish I took photos of the food to post here, it was THAT good. Just moved to the area in November, Galanga came highly recommended. The vegetarian green curry was phenomenal - a spicy, creamy broth that kept you wanting more with crunchy vegetables and perfectly cooked tofu. The mango duck was out of this world. I’ve tried duck before and it’s never been my favorite protein, but the sweet and sour glaze over the tender duck and sautéed vegetables was insane. Our server told us the duck is slow roasted whole, then deboned and sautéed with the vegetables and mango sauce. So, if you’ve never tried duck before, you need to try this dish! The service was excellent, we can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Delicious Thai food

The Thai food is excellent. I love the curry dishes. They make them spicy on request. The pad Thai and pad see yu is the best. The Mango Duck is out of this world. Lots of duck great vegetables and delicious sauce. Don't know why this place is not fully booked

Nothing was completely wrong or bad but nothing was fantastic either. Food was okay but definitely not as good as other Thai places. This all being said I only have been once so I might give them another shot in the future.

Stay away from this place they are scammers I order food online and I pay at the store my order was 20.94 dollars when i picked up my order I sign my receipt but I dindt tip on the card so they wrote on the recipe that I tip 34 I call my bank and report this they don’t have honest people working there so every single time if u no gonna tip on card cross a line on the tip space ! I’m waiting for them to open tomorrow and let the owners know what are the servers doing

Such a wonderful thai place! I came because the prices looked affordable but Galanga has even more to offer! There are delicious vegan faux meat options and yummy drinks. The restaurant is very pretty inside and service was very prompt. I was so happy to try this place and will definitely be coming back!

I no longer go to traditional Chinese takeout places. You pay a little more here, yes, but the food here is miles beyond anything else local. Ordering delivery from here weekly and trying out the whole menu with my family has been absolutely wonderful.

They serve good food. we ordered pad se yu and sesame chicken. I noticed that the server needs to practice smiling and be more friendly. He talks like he is always in a rush (not trying to be rude), but as a customer, you want you also to be more comfortable when talking to the server, especially when ordering. Also, I asked for thai tea and asked to make it creamier (cause every time I order it online, it's just awful, so i said make it creamier), but it was still no good. I've been trying different thai tea, but this one is not in my liking. it's bitter and tastes like water. Maybe ya'll need to try your tea and find what's missing in your recipe.

The food are really not “Thai” at all, compared to many Thai restaurants in NYC, even Long Island.

Thai tea taste so watery, it’s not thick and creamy, I already can tell when they bring the Thai tea to the table, and it’s EXACTLY what I think, lack of flavor.

Pineapple coconut fried rice, way too sweet, and the rice has some sort of smell.

Chinese broccoli with chicken, the sauce was way too sweet as well, can’t even eat it..

Appetizers fried tofu and calamari was greasy, looks like the fried temperature wasn’t high enough

The price is cheap, and I understand that’s what I get for, but non of these food I will give a star, it’s a great location and nice environment, but if they can’t even make the food right, the owner should considered hire someone who really know how to cook Thai food, and it’s a huge disappointment that all the drink and food on our table, non of them was good.. Ordering online was easy and pickup was also easy. Restaurant looked clean and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately the food just wasn’t good. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and spring rolls as an appetizer. Dumplings were incredibly over cooked and the shrimp was rock hard. The spring rolls were good and still very crunchy despite the 7 minute drive home. The drunken noodles completely lacked flavor. But honestly the most offensive dish was the lar nard which is rice noodles and broccoli in a brown bean oyster gravy. I got mine with steak. I’ve had this dish at dozens of Thai restaurants over the years and have never had lar nard this bad. The dish barely filled the container. The sauce was thick to the point where it was almost a paste and the worst part about it is that it was sickeningly sweet. For the life of me, I can’t tell why a black bean oyster sauce was made sweet at all, but it was like they dumped an entire cup of sugar in it. I wouldn’t go back again based on that alone. Not every dish should have an obscene amount of sugar in it.

The food and service is great. Try the curry samosas for an appetizer and the sticky rice for dessert (ask if the mango is ripe).

My husband orders the Drunken Noodles with Duck and adds mushrooms. They give a great portion of meat. I also modify my Basil Chicken by adding Broccoli and no peppers. Chicken is always tender and never rubbery like I've had in other places.

Was craving Thai food so I checked this place out. I have had pad Thai from many different restaurants and this made me question if it was actually even pad Thai. Tasted extremely bland. Kale, tomatoes, broccoli, baby corn, and carrots were in it and made it taste more like Chinese food. Also the serving size was small compared to most places I’ve been. It wasn’t bad, but was not what I expected when ordering. Lastly as someone who lived in Thailand for a few months this is nothing near “authentic”. I will not be back
