Food was good. It came out rather quickly, fresh and well portioned.
The server Blake was nice , helpful, and kind. My son says she geta extra points for helping a man with crutches ( i am the man with crutches) ,She included my son the whole time which is important that she did that.
It was a nice atmosphere. The music was appropriate and at a pleasing volume. Definitely recommend and I will be visiting again

We also grabbed Thai donuts to go (my all-time favorite), and they did not disappoint. It’s a shame more people don’t know about this hidden gem. The restaurant is cute, cozy, and perfectly located in the heart of my hometown.

I invite everyone to come out and support this wonderful local business. They deserve it! We will definitely be dining in again!

Vegan options are delicious. The udon soup was big and the broth was delicious. I also had the veggie dumplings and tofu roll. Would eat here again.

My only criticism is that the waitress didn’t come to check out waters so we didn’t have refills until almost the end.

Not good at all. The hostess was on her phone upon entering and then asked, "How can I help you?" There were only 2 other tables there when we entered, and they took a long time getting our order to us. The sushi did not taste fresh. We did not finish our food. It was a family of 5, and apparently, gratuity is automatically included. We spent $175. The waitress also never came back once. We recently went to another sushi restaurant in Kendall that was higher quality and we had a better experience, got better food and better service for less. We will not be returning.

HIGHLY recommend. The sushi rolls were so delicious and super well priced. Highly recommend the yummy roll and the kiss roll from the specialty list and the California roll from the classics. The waitress was super kind and sweet and our food was done really fast. Amazing flavors. Perfect date spot. Girlfriend loves sushi? Bring her here. She will be happy :))

Excelente y variados platos, muy buena atención

I went back today after years of not going. BIG MISTAKE!, the fish was not fresh it was de colored and smushy. The pad Thai was so bad you needed to drink a cup of water after you ate a spoon. The pad Thai was burnt and chewy I called and they would issue me a new one with the return of this one that arrived damage. The refund will take 5-6 days. This is ridiculous.

Terrible food, this restaurant used to be the best in the area but definitely they change everything for the worse. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and it was disgusting. I don’t know what happened to this place but definitely the good reviews are fake and old from the other management.

Great sushi in a low key location. Maybe people don't know about this place due to its location. The area it is in is difficult to get in and out of. Food, staff and freshness is tops.

Love the quiet tucked away elegance...but it closes too early which is why I have not been there in a long time.

Pretty place, the food looks beautiful but way too salty. When we told the staff they said they get complaints for this all the time but the chef disagrees and keeps the food salty.

Also, ordered mild and got spicy.

Small portions with expensive price. Also the soups are very high on sodium content. Here in Homestead are much better alternatives for Japanese food.

I don't know what happened to this place but the taste of the food feels like they changed the recipe for the worse. They give smaller portions of the sushi, they don't fill your bowl with soup and the milk tea has no taste whatsoever. Ever since they changed management they changed everything it's honestly disheartening. I don't recommend this place at all.

The portions were not like the pictures. We ordered online. No ginger or wasabi or soy sauce given . Lobster butter roll wasn’t great . The other rolls were good. They never pick up their phone. Very expensive for the amount of food . We’ve ordered before, but today we were not happy.

I have been going to this place for years and have loved it. It has changed ownership and has gone downhill very fast. It has raised prices to give you smaller rolls and stale tempura flakes. I am very disappointed as the cha cha cha roll is my favorite but has gone up by $6 to have stale tempura flakes. Management does not care and continues to charge. I have given this place 3 chances and will not be ordering from here again. Please consider saving your money and trying another sushi place. Get it together!

I ordered through Uber eats, wanting to try a new Thai/Japanese spot. I ordered Thai tea, Cha Cha Cha rolls, Yaki Soba with chicken and the Tempura Cheesecake. Upon delivery I was pleased with the packaging and all my food arrived at the temperature I would expect had I dined in. The Cha Cha Cha roll was decent but I don’t think it was worth ordering again. It lacked flavor and for $20+ I expected a much larger roll. The Yaki Soba noodles were ok. The first thing I noticed is how the noodles all seemed congealed together and it was quite difficult to get them separated with the included chop sticks. The flavor wasn’t anything I would go out of my way to order again, but the portion size was good. The Thai tea was something I was really looking forward to but as soon as I took a sip, I spit it out. The tea tasted like it had been sitting out and had the very distinct stale flavor. I’ve ordered Thai tea from multiple restaurants across the U.S. and I’ve never had an issue but I will never order it from this restaurant again.
I have yet to try the tempura cheesecake but fingers crossed that the dessert redeems the amount of money I spent.. $60 for a disappointing meal is ridiculous.

Nobody seems to answer the phone at this business anymore. My wife is pregnant and cannot eat raw food, but with the menu online we cannot see what’s cooked or not. There are almost no descriptions of the rolls. So we have called roughly 8-10 times with being put on hold immediately and then hung up on. Ever since they changed management recently, the service has dropped considerably and prices have gone up. Suvi and Vietnamese 5 spice will be getting our business here on out. It’s a shame since we have been hard core customers for years.

I ate from here for the 1st time on my lunch break 06/20/24. My waiter was super nice although she got my order wrong, but she fixed the situation right away. I ordered Yaki soba stir fried noodles as is without a protein (trying to save money lol!), but she brought it out with shrimp. I'm actually glad she did, because it was so good. I would eat here again.

We had the appetizer sampler, I was Tempted to get a second one it’s was so good!!!! The jb roll fried, so soooooo good ( add jalepeno on top) and the chacha roll was really good as well. Would high recommend, and will be returning!

Wish the new owners hadn’t changed the menu up so much. This place was perfect, was the best sushi in town, but all the new menu changes have been a downgrade so far. Don’t even see the tom kha Kai soup anymore which was amazing, it is a real shame.

We loved ordering from this restaurant, our favorite sushi so far in homestead. When we went recently it seems they changed. Prices increased & quality/portions of the food and rolls decreased.
Looks like we’ll be on the lookout for a new spot.

the service was great but the food itself was terrible. I’m not sure if the ownership changed but the flavor of the food is just gone. Noodles in pad Thai were hard and didn’t taste how they used to. The sushi had no flavor either. The matcha green tea tasted like only green tea.

Came in for lunch, our first time eating in since we had ordered takeout once before...

It was a Friday afternoon, so it was empty, which was perfect for us. We had edamame and fried wontons as appetizers.

The order of wontons brings 5, and they were great. Since I'm not much of a fan of SushI, we ordered rolls, I had a California, and my partner ordered Dragon.

We had two orders of sake and a beer each, which brought our total bill to just shy of $100, making the meal well worth it.

The service and food were great, and since it's under new ownership, there is a better menu coming soon.

With not a lot of choices in Homestead, this is definitely a spot worth visiting more than once.

Very disappointed. I use to go to this place all the time. The sold the place and the new owners raised the prices and give less food. I ordered a spider roll which was 6 very small pieces and falling apart. The was some crunch burnt stuff to mimic the spider horrible. The second roll was a shrimp roll fell apart and not much there. No ginger was on either takeout. Once a place changes ownership it's not the same. Now you have to pay for the order when you place it. Not ever going back. There are better places in the area or just drive north for a better spot.

Generally the food has been amazing and the service too, but something has changed I just tried to get a soup to go and the container they wanted to give me for the price they wanted was ridiculous. I had to refuse it and request a refund, it seems they've dramatically increased their prices suddenly

Everything on the menu recently went up $1-5 for absolutely zero reason. Miso soup used to be $2.99 and now it's $6, are you joking? It's a tiny portion of miso soup. They got rid of a ton of items and upped the prices. When I asked why they told me they are "under new management" which explains EVERYTHING. Will never go back unless things go back to how they were. I used to eat here twice a month, now I'm finding a new sushi place.

This is no longer the Sake of Homestead we have come to love. The quality of the food has diminished and the prices have gone up. The menu itself still has some favorites but the choices are a small percentage of what used to exist. They did give it a nice facelift adding new decor and plates, and the music choice was excellent. Sadly the shumai tasted frozen and everything came out room temperature. The rolls were good, but the avocado was old and the asparagus was soft. The familiar faces of the staff, and mama are not present, however the new staff was kind and attentive. Unfortunately we will no longer patron what used to be one of our favorite spots in Homestead.

The quality of the food we are used to was not up to par in the least! The sushi felt rushed, the taste was not the norm. For a place we have praised as being the best sushi place we have ever eaten at, this time, they did not live up to the praise we always give them. Their phone number doesn't work and I am trying to speak to manager. I feel we deserve some credit or compensation for how bad the sushi was. The quality of the food has decreased immensely and not worth the price anymore. Also a lot of my favorite items were removed from the menu.

Used to be a very good place with excellent food, now food is more expensive and quality has decreased significantly.

Used to be my to go place for fried rice. Lately, they have been putting too much veggies. Last night, I asked them to go light on the veggies, I still got way to much veggies and chunk of onions. Paid extra for spicy mayo and there was barely any in the containers. Quality has decreased, not worth the prices anymore.

The new menu is not great, previous visits in the past was better than now. I will not be returning to this restaurant, they lost me as a customer.

So I have to update my review unfortunately after several experiences with apparent cost cutting at this restaurant. So the quality of the food and the environment and staff are still 5/5 but the portion sizes in concert with the meal prices are out of control. Even though the food is good your paying $3-4 more for less portions, than nearby comparable restaurants and I used to be fine with this but it has become ridiculous over the last year. Either raise your prices and maintain the meal size, or reduce the meal size and maintain the original price; You can't both reduce the meal size and increase the cost makes no sense. And it's a shame because I love this place but the values not there. Example : goyza dumplings was 5 for $9.50 outrageous insane it's good but not that good. Boba tea is 8 dollars. And the list goes on. $84 including tip for two people.

Previous review: Great experience, good food, and has a wide fresh selection of food on the menu. The price of some of the items is a little high, but that being said you get what you pay for for and the quality is there.

High end sushi 🍣 and amazing deserts.

Our server (the girl wearing glasses with octagon shaped lenses) was so nice and friendly. She’s also attentive, checking frequently to make sure we’re okay.

We got sashimi, sushi rolls, crab rangoon, pad Thai with tofu, red curry with tofu, chicken katsu, and hot sake. We really enjoyed and recommended the hot entrees!

One comment about the sashimi and sushi rolls: the rice was not seasoned and tasted bland. This is unfortunate because the fish tasted good!

We got 2 large bottles of hot sake and struggled to finish them. We’re used to a smoother taste profile and this one in particular tasted too sour/fermented.

Food was good but service was really slow and they didn't even bring drink refills or provide updates while we were waiting.

I placed an order to pick up tonight. I ordered two rolls. The kiss roll & spicy tuna. 1 of the rolls I asked to have an item removed from it and the other I asked for something to be added. Both were no problem at all.

Now after picking up & eating my rolls I can write this review. Those rolls were some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Sushi can be very filling for me and I can’t eat a ton but tonight I definitely ate it all. I couldn’t stop saying how good it was. Oh and all 3 of the sauces that were part of the rolls were delicious! Spicy Mayo eel sauce and the Kimchee sauce, i loved all 3!

I didn’t leave a rating for atmosphere since I didn’t eat there. But from my past experiences everything was always nice and clean.

I've been a longtime patron of this restaurant and have always admired their great sushi rolls, and service in the past. However, my recent attempt to place a pick-up order over the phone left me disappointed. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties as I was placed on hold multiple times and ultimately experienced hang-ups during my call. This was a departure from the usual seamless service I've come to expect from them. I hope they can address this issue to maintain the high standard of service they're known for, as I've always valued their service and dining experience.

Good quality and fair prices! But the panang curry is excellent, I've had it all across the US, and this might be the best one, I'm hoping that it's not a fluke! 😄

I order here often and was disappointed by chicken teriyaki roll! The chicken tasted like it was a day old. Not sure who made by role but it definitely wasn’t worth $15

It's surprisingly really good food. The tuna nigiri was delicious and fresh. The upon noodle dish was delicious. Even the Ramen and tempura brownies were tasty. The atmosphere was almost romantic and modern (a good combination for a date night or friends getting together). The server was knowledgeable and tentative, without being annoyingly so. She was also sweet and not any bit of attitude from her, which is hard to find in this area. My husband and I left there full and satisfied.

In Homestead, Florida, there is a wonderful restaurant called Sake Thai & Sushi Bar. They have delicious speciality rolls.

Every roll was a delectable work of art, with the ideal blend of ingredients producing a pleasant burst of flavours with each mouthful. The chefs at Sake Thai & Sushi Bar demonstrated their culinary prowess by creating rolls that are not only wonderfully excellent but also a must-try in Homestead, whether you chose to order traditional sushi rolls or experiment with their inventive innovations.

Party of 7. The Manager was diligent, kind and efficient. We arrived with a few minutes prior to closing time, non the less we were treated with love. Food delicious, portions great, we even asked for doggie bags, good prices.

Vegan options are delicious. The udon soup was big and the broth was delicious. I also had the veggie dumplings and tofu roll. Would eat here again.

My only criticism is that the waitress didn’t come to check out waters so we didn’t have refills until almost the end.

Other than that everything was clean and super nice!

I love their fried rice. The kids love the boba teas a 🍜 Ramen. We tried the Garlic seafood dish and it was delicious. I'm not super impressed with the atmosphere, it's a little too cozy for me and they could update some of the decor like the furniture and floors. The food is the most important so we overlook any small imperfections. We do enjoy the different 🍣 sushi rolls and the tempura veggies.

I ordered the Yummy Roll and it was very fresh and tasty. The service was quick and friendly. This was the most expensive specialty roll at $19.99.

Very disturbing being mistreated by the manager of this restaurant at my arrival today afternoon Very unprofessional and rude treatment. Second time this happensand not coming back ! Very unfortunate!

Nice place for lunch or dinner

Sushi was bland way to much rice the boba had no tapioca pearls no wasabi overpriced

Once again this place reassured us that there is fine dinning available in Homestead! The sushi is fresh the customer service is beyond expectation and the fact that they will be opening until 11pm nightly now gives us all an option for a late night meal ! Thank you Su and May and of course the staple Sushi MaMa!!

Gave this place a try two times. It just doesn't fit me and my taste buss and my likings ...

Not good at all. The hostess was on her phone upon entering and then asked, "How can I help you?" There were only 2 other tables there when we entered, and they took a long time getting our order to us. The sushi did not taste fresh. We did not finish our food. It was a family of 5, and apparently, gratuity is automatically included. We spent $175. The waitress also never came back once. We recently went to another sushi restaurant in Kendall that was higher quality and we had a better experience, got better food and better service for less. We will not be returning.

Good food, nice ambiance, but I have food allergies and no matter how many times I let the waiter know, I walk out of there with a food allergies reaction, unfortunately my family of 5 would not be eating there because of this reason. Other than that food is good.
