Tee Jay Thai Sushi is one of my go-to spots, always delivering amazing curry, stir-fry, & sushi. However, We were surprised by a sudden price increase on a sushi roll We frequently order, which ended up costing more than their lobster sushi. We trust they keep their pricing consistent to match the excellent quality of their food. Crispy duck perfection!

We just found this lovely restaurant on the recommendation of friends, and we were not disappointed! We were greeted and seated immediately with a smile at about 5:30 PM. By 6:30 the place was full! The service is excellent; the restaurant is casual, modern, super clean with an upscale feel to it; and the food was delicious. We had the shrimp soup and the seafood combo with jasmine rice! Served piping hot, we enjoyed every bite. Plenty of free parking in front. We can’t wait to return to try other dishes! Thank you!

I ordered a panang chicken curry, but ended up with panang chicken soup. Pretty solid food! Great place to stop for lots of options. Huge inside area. Staff was very friendly, and I would return! Looks like they have a great happy hour and lunch specials. I think next time I go I will go for a noodle dish instead of sushi, but definitely worth a stop!

I love eating at Tee Jay's, but their take out service it approaching nasty. Every time I get it home, it looks like someone shook up my bag. This evening, I paid and put it directly in my car....and didn't drop. This is what it looked like when I opened it, and it was equally as bad last week. Just ick!

They allowed somebody to have a dog inside the restaurant a pet dog that’s illegal and disgusting animals belong outside

I am in love with thai/Japanese food and I have tried EVERY major sushi/thai place in the area, and this place has really good food!

Their food is wonderful. Very respectful staff. Overall awesome place for Thai and sushi. I got the chicken satay, duck curry, volcano sushi and jb sushi. Everything was great.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Nothing tasted good - ordered about 5 dishes and left everything untouched. Nothing tasted quite right.

First time here and will break it down by dish.

Papaya Salad 8/10 ask for no lettuce 🥬 Jesus Christ they put half a head of lettuce under.

Pad Thai 9/10 very good I wish they had more green onions, but overall very tasty.

Seafood combo was a 2/10 it was like a soup. I sent it back, It comes in aluminum foil, and it was bland. Get the strifry or something else instead.

I will definitely be back, thank you.

Great place to share a lovely & exotic meal with friends and family.

My miso soup and Thai Basil Vegetables did not taste good. They both had a lingering after taste that I kept trying to clear with my water. The Thai Basil vegetables was very oily and overpowered by the garlic. I tried to eat it with the rice but it didn't help. I love Thai food but I did not enjoy my food at their restaurant.

Había un señor de pelo blanco que me imagino trabaja en alguna aplicación de entrega de comida que cada 3 minutos se pegaba al vidrio del restaurante pasándonos muy cerca de donde estábamos cenando aparte del ruido que hacían los teléfonos cada vez que sonaban, sentado sobre una mesa se veía muy desagradable y definitivamente eso cambió de mala manera la experiencia que tuvimos en el restaurante.

I was eating at your restaurant outside, the food was very delicious, just something unpleasant happened that I suggest they should correct, we went outside in the lovely weather but next to us at a table was a man who I think was a food delivery man as he was walking from the door to the table and from the table to the door of the restaurant, he tripped over my wife's seat several times and ran over the food he was carrying while tripping again, the truth is we felt super unsafe and with little privacy, it would be great if these spaces were for the restaurant's customers so they could have the peace of mind to eat comfortably.

My expirience today was different, while I waited for my food,I notice a food delivery driver getting orders from different apps from two diferent personal phones, not only his presence bothered me because of his demener, it made me realized all that food will be getting late and cold leaving the wrong impression of the restaurant. It would be a shame to loose a good food reviev just because a greedy food delivery driver.

Eddie at the bar is so good at what he does, so attentive to each person and remembers you when you return. The suchi is so good and the presentation is unbelievable. We have enjoyed every dish we ordered. Highly recommend!

Worst food I had in a very long time. Beef over cooked, coconut soup was unacceptable. Even the monster roll was off. $105 of take out to throw in my trash can. Never again.

Steak was tough and fatty….. probably “choice”…. Vegetables were not steamed properly and way too much cabbage on the plate…..

The staff at this restaurant is consistently sweet and incredibly attentive. The food is simply outstanding - it's fresh, expertly cooked, and truly delicious. I highly recommend indulging in their lychee martini, it's a must-try. Without a doubt, this is my go-to restaurant; their menu is extensive, and they're always willing to accommodate any special requests. Being allergic to seafood, my favorite dish is the Chang-Mai noodles. Additionally, their stir fry is exceptional. 10/10

Went to Tee Jay Thai Sushi with my friend, we were 15 min after 3 pm. We were not able to order lunch specials or any other special combos. Very disappointing. What's with 3 pm lunch??

Good as i remembered it to be, haven been in awhile. Went there last night since the another restaurant i was planning was totally packed. This place has a nice atmosphere with the different dining room options so i thought i could get in on Friday night without issue and they didnt disappoint but exceeded my expectation.
The food was prepared perfectly, tasty. Service is spot on and attentive. Large choice of sushi and many other asian dishes. You can never go wrong here for this busy place, they really try.

Tried to like this place, went once for a friend’s birthday, service was terrible she seemed stressed and very busy. Waited for drinks for 15 minutes.
Made reservations for the nice booth floor seating.
Came for the reservation and they acted like it was our mistake as if we called the wrong location or just didn’t make it.
Turns out the host that made the reservation made it for a month that had already passed.
Instead of trying to make things right no offers to wait or help the issue. Just a simple “my apologies” and offered a table in the middle of the walk way. Atleast we got the view of the people sitting on the floor though.
Of course we weren’t rude, just un happy with the service we received both times trying to celebrate important events.

We sat at the bar and a tall man, I believe his name was Michael served us. Normally I don’t leave reviews but he was great. Possibly the best service I’ve ever had. Thank you Michael!

Great restaurant for Sushi. It is more than just Sushi. A combo of Japanese and Thai dishes. Some of them are a fusion of both thai and japanese. Got shrimp noodles, tee jay salad and thai tee.

Such a cool place!!!! Highly recommend getting their Tsunami Roll (it’s a lobster roll that comes with fried lobster tail on the side and the presentation is beautiful). They have tables in the ground too that are so cool!

The atmosphere is beautiful, but the service is terrible. I don't recommend it, there are much nicer places in Fort Lauderdale, I didn't like it and I won't ever go back.

The food was amazing. Had me saying wow the whole time. Try the shrimp dumplings and kimichi roll.

Been here a few times, great food for either dine in or take out. The atmosphere is cool and inviting, a little flair to it. Staff had always been great, never any complaints about the food except that I finished it too quickly!

Been coming for years. I would advise to dine in vs ordering from an app. The portions were huge. We have left overs to last us for another sitting. Will return

One of my regular sushi spots. Been here 20+ times and it’s our go-to for delivery. We always order the lobster roll. The presentations on this specialty roll get better every time! It comes with extra fried lobster served in the cocktail glass. It’s so good!!

Great place and great food. Staff is helpful. Even let us eat food from their other cooperate restaurants in there.

Great place to have a nice night out. They have an early menu with lower priced items and 2-1 drinks. Friends and I go at least twice a month! Attentive service. I usually stick to sushi and have not been disappointed. The only thing g a friend did t like (but they did offer to change) was the teriyaki chicken.

The wait staff are incredibly slow to get your drink order’s during happy hour and then slow to get your food out at the expected times

Food was amazing and excellent quality!! They will make sure to ask how spicy you want your dishes, which is awesome. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was very nice and calm - you have the option of booth, table, or sitting down traditionally with pillows, if you wish. Lovely aquariums, too :) Highly recommended!

Yuck!!! Horrible!!! Don’t eat here! We ordered food for delivery…outside of one dish wrong, despite paying EXTRA for the shrimp pad Thai, the entire order is absolutely inedible!
Chicken pad Thai tastes like vinegar!! Overwhelmingly tastes & smells of vinegar! Zero peanut flavor, no spice! The special fried rice, ZERO flavor..just mushy! The gyoza, again, no flavor. Spring rolls, just crunchy, zero flavor! Hands down the WORST THAI FOOD IN FORT LAUDERDALE/POMPANO BEACH! If we had been at the restaurant, we would have given every dish back & would have challenged the manager to eat it…don’t waste your money!! $75.00 wasted! 7/2/2023

Nice atmosphere, good service. The sushi was tasty, however the stir fried food and fried rice was plain and not tasty. They did make two attempts to make it right, but still was below par.

Great place for sushi or a Japanese/ Thai meal. The miso soup is one of my favorites and the variety of sushi and sushi rolls they have on the menu is incredible! Try the eel and the pad Thai those are two of my favorite. They even have a great happy hour with half price appetizers and drinks.

I ordered through door dash for the food to be finished by 130. I get a message stating that my food is ready 51 minutes early and I am not ready for lunch. I called and the Amy stated that they print the order as it comes out. I went to the restaurant and the receipt CLEARY shows a 1:30 pickup. She asked me what I want her to do, instead of ensuring that I have fresh food at 1:30. No manager was available to speak. I am frustrated because she accepted no accountability to the fact that the order was made too early. I will never return and the food has always been a bit bland, it’s just next door to my job and more convenient.

Cool spot with fish tanks and dark lighting. Big menu with a variety of options but I tried their green papaya salad and pad thai. I enjoyed both. Most the table went with sushi. Portions were large and the bites I tried were good! Seared salmon and a tempura roll were my favorites. Service was excellent

Okay, we're from Madison, WI and have a world class thai restaurant Vienetien Palace, which closed due to the pandemic, until now I haven't been able to find a comparable Pad Thai, this place knocks it way out of the park, so so delicious 🤤

The wait wasn’t too long on a holiday, 20-25mins. Our server was super pleasant. all the sushi we ordered and all
appetitizers we’re soo good! Drinks were good. Unfortunately my main dish, the chicken pad thai was not good. It was so disappointing. It was wayyy too sweet for my liking. The sauce was just not good. Overall, great place. I would return just not for their pad thai

The rack of lamb appetizer is simply a must. Ask for some extra rice to put in the sauce.... it is so soothing to the palate. Flavors off the chart. Love the Pad Thai (shrimp). You won't be disappointed.

Owner is horrible. We were told 10 minutes to wait 35 minutes later still not seat. Another couple walked in put their name on the list. However when the owner saw them waiting ( being regulars ) the owner seated them right away and took their name off the bottom of the list ( 5 groups down ).
Be aware of how the owner and staff treat customers. If I could give a negative star I would!!!!!

I order regularly because I really enjoy the ginger dressing they make and the food has good flavor and serving amount. But unfortunately, lately they are always missing something from my order, or the order is not as described. This was the chicken fried rice, considering it’s simple and has very few ingredients it’s quite surprising they could mess it up. On a previous order they missed including an item, so in the end I paid for something I did not receive. To top it off, they don’t like to include napkins. I’m not sure what is happening but the accuracy of their pick up orders is falling short. Note: I am writing this review and rating 2 stars because it has happened several times and prior to this, I called to notify of the issue but was simply told sorry and they would make sure to have it right the next time, but they don’t.

COMPLETELY SUBPAR. See the attached pictures of what was advertised as Pineapple Duck Panang curry.

I ended up with a pint of watery curry with undercooked bell pepper (no pineapple or any of the other advertised vegetables) and the pictured monstrosity of a duck breast, clearly taken from a freezer straight into their dirty fryer, completely overcooked and stinking of their cheap gutter oil fryer. For $28.00.

Two stars, only because the hostess has no control over the terrible food and was very sweet about giving me a refund.

Utterly shocked to find a staple in my mouth while I was chewing my sushi. Was so scared to eat the rest of my food so I threw it all out. Thank God I didn’t swallow the staple because it could have caused a lot of damage. I hope the restaurant learns their lesson and is more careful in the future so that this doesn’t happen again.

Food was phenomenal! The sushi rolls are huge! I wasn’t sure what the tuna tower looked like but was pleasantly surprised. Our server was a gentleman & he was wonderful! Would recommend ❤️

Food was amazing but most impressed by them as we ordered carry out and had a note about a diary allergy and they called us right away to let us know there was diary in the dosh ordered. Worked with us to find something that worked. Thought that was truly incredible to go out of their way to accommodate us! Thank you!

First time diner. Great service, and the food was so enjoyable. Great presentation and flavor. I had the Weds beef special with wide noodles some broccoli and rice. Carb heavy, oh well! With a salad and Jasmine tea. I was full and content all day.

TEE JAYS ,WhenI went into have dinner, Tee Jay was slow hardly any body in TeeJays and yet service was slow ,food okay I have better.

Delicious food and drinks. Happy hour from 4-7 everyday, which is hard to come by! Includes specials on food and drinks are 2 for 1. You can't beat that!

First time back here in about 2.5 years and to be honest. Kinda disappointed. The special fried rice was cold one piece of shrimp. Also had the kimono shrimp for appetizer was the highlight of my lunch as it was good as usual. Maybe today was an off day. So I will come back again and see how it turns out.

Normally a good place to eat but I got the fancy lobster roll and shrimp tempura roll last night and the lobster smelled like bleach (a tell tale sign it is bad) but I was hungry and didn't think the shrimp smelled bad so I ate it. Now I am having horrible diarrhea. Not sure what went wrong this time but I will not be going again.
