I ordered the L17 Angel Eggplant lunch special which included soup or salad and Pad Thai. The soup was excellent. Far better than the typical miso soup. I will be back with friends for more of the delicious Pad Thai.

The service was phenomenal. My appetizer sampler was crispy, tasty, and fresh. My bbq pork was so different in a great way. Everything came with amazing dipping sauces as well. Maybe someone can check the thermostat, my visit the place was warm.

They even had a special menu for Thai people so I suggest asking for that to get a more authentic taste and different dishes than your usual American style Thai food.

Good Thai restaurant with consistently tasty take-out. Quiet atmosphere inside. Crab Rangoon has actual pieces of crab you can see inside with a crisp folded wrap. Low prices compared to other area restaurants. Family owned and operated, very hard working and they strive to make you happy. I've seen a number of Asian parties inside so that always makes me happy.

Real Thai food for the real ninjas. If you think pad Thai is how you measure the quality of a Thai restaurant you’re probably a liberal.

OK, let me start out by saying this is a grandma grandpa mom and Pop shop! These are the best kinds of restaurants. The family is involved and Service is second to none. Obviously they get very busy because they are very good. Sure you have Asian restaurants and Thai restaurants all over the map. This place has the real deal in the kitchen real authentic Thai cuisine. I know because my wife is from Thailand and I travel to Thailand as often as possible and my pallet does not miss out on what’s real and whats maybe just made for the American pallet! I’m not the only one that feels this way about the place. It’s always packed when we go in there. Definitely add this to your list. If you have not been there it’s a fabulous Thai restaurant to try!

Don’t order from here they have bugs. Me and my friend got seated and stood up and left not even 5 minutes later because there was ants crawling on our table.

My friend and I ordered through UberEats, after looking over the menu. S6 - Young Calamari contained no calamari, it was cuttlefish (we don't like cuttlefish), S7 - Crying Tiger was overly salted, A2- Soft Rolls were okay, and E1 - Golden Cashew Combination (Prawns, Squid, Scallops, Snapper) had 3 shrimp, 1 piece of snapper, 2 scallops, and no squid - only cuttlefish, the rest of the dish was liquidy sauce and vegetables (mostly celery and onions). We spent approximately $60 and received poor value and questionable food. We will never order from Chaiyo Thai Street Food again. Perhaps they think that if a person isn't dining in, they can pull the wool over their eyes. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves.

The food is not the same , the place looks like regular amarican place , everything is different is not the same CHAIYO THAI restaurant , they don’t have sushi, I will never go back again , sad isn’t the same with quality food and admosphere

I really don't like giving negative reviews. After living in the neighborhood for about five years now we finally tried this place. Based on all the mostly positive reviews, we were looking for a positive experience. The waitress was very sweet, and our spring roll appetizer was delicious. The rest of the meal was downhill from there. I've had Mamasan Curry at at least 25 different restaurants. This was by far the worst Mamasan Curry I've ever had. It was more like a bowl of lukewarm coconut milk with only the slightest touch of Curry and chicken and peanuts and I never leave food but I left half of it on the table. Also every Mamasan Curry I've ever had had sweet potatoes in it, and this had regular white potatoes that tasted old. My companion had the ribs as well as pad Thai. The portion was the smallest we've ever seen for an entree and was 75% vegetables and bean sprouts covering 25% noodles. The best thing we can say about the ribs were that they were lackluster, oddly seasoned, and very fatty. $80 mostly down the drain. Again, I really don't like giving negative reviews and maybe the kitchen just had an off day, but NOT GOOD.👎

Terrible experience i invite my girlfriend for lunch last week my first time in this place our order took for ever only 3 customer for lunch i ask the bus girl if they had a lemongrass soup with shrimp ( She lie to us !!!) 🦐 well she brought us a bowl with mushrooms tomato cut in pieces and they squeeze regular lemon 🍋 this by far a lie from the real lemongrass soup!
I order also roast duck like 1/4 of the duck price was $27 and it was terrible dry old i got sick later that day with stomach pain and diarrhea however the girl who was the bus girl and host was absolutely rude and disrespectful ! I'm not planning to come back to this place she is tall skinny long hair ,she needs a class of human relations real attitude adjustment! My lunch bill was $70 including her tip!

Came here for the first time and certainly plan to return. This Thai restaurant’s ambiance is very welcoming and attractive. Everything we ordered was fresh and cooked well. The serving staff was very short handed, which delayed ordering, but when speaking with the manager it appears that this was out of the ordinary. Would certainly recommend this restaurant to all that like Thai cuisine.

Update: We have been to Chaiyo many times and love the food, servers and manager. However, the guy who is the busboy and host is absolutely rude and disrespectful. Our friends won’t return because of his attitude, but we are loyal customers who love the servers and food, so we will return despite him. He is the tall, thin person who needs a real attitude adjustment!

Absolutely fantastic! Wish I’d found Chaiyo sooner and can’t wait to come back. We popped in for lunch and loved the edamame (the seasoning and sauce were incredible— I’ve never had edamame like this!) and fried gyoza for quick appetizers. The lunch special portions were perfect, and I loved that the entrees came with smaller portions of pad Thai, rice and soup to enjoy. Prompt service and delightful ambiance. Beautifully plated food that made even a quick lunch on a random Thursday special! Felt like a little lunchtime getaway back to one of our favorite holidays in Thailand with the signs, street photos, display shelf of Thai products, twinkle lights, and music. Seems to be a local favorite here in the community, and it was fun to observe the comings and goings of fellow diners who knew the staff well! Will be back soon!

Really disappointed in this place with the quality of the food I ordered. Wait staff were efficient and pleasant, but both the Larb Gai and the Drunken Noodles were not good. The Drunken Noodles, in particular, had the worst noodles I’ve ever had in a Thai restaurant; just gelatinous and mushy and overcooked. I can’t recommend them at all, no matter how much I would like to.

Hot saki, veggie rolls and crispy duck bring me back again and again. Best duck I have ever had.

Absolutely terrible service. I walked in to pick up an online order and was not greeted for at least 5 minutes. Once I was greeted, the lady could not find my order and then another man walked up and said that someone else took the order. So they knew someone else had it, but they did not remake it. They finally started to remake it but did not offer me anything free, a refund, nothing at all. It took 25 minutes and still was not offered anything. Poor service, and the food was not great once we got it. Disappointing first and last experience here.

Ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp with an order of egg rolls. The meal came with a salad.
Shrimp was undercooked, and fried rice wasn’t fried (it was more like a curry rice it was yellow) and it has cashews and raisins (I found that odd but whatever) , the chicken was ok I guess. It came with a Spicey and sweet sauce that was really good.

Salad was fresh. They gave us spring rolls NOT egg rolls. But the spring rolls and the sauce that comes with it was fresh and tasted pretty good. Way better than the actual meal. I wish I could give them a 2.5 star rating. But they get a 2, I’m sure they have better menu options. But this is not it.

Excellent Thai food - both anglicized and authentic options. Nam Sod, if you like ginger, is great simple salad. Fried tofu and stuffed chicken wings are both excellent appetizers seafood pad Thai is packed with a mix of seafood, and delicious - we want to try the pad c ew version next time.

I have been living next to this gem for years and had no idea! Don't let the name fool you it is not just street food, it is an amazing sit down dining experience. When I arrived I was greeted with a humble restaurant only to be blown away by the food I ordered. They have a new menu, which does not include sushi any longer but they don't need it because the food was epic!

Came here for our weekly date night and we were impressed from the moment we entered. The gentleman at the host stand was both extremely pleasant and attentive. The interior is extremely inviting and very well lit. Our server was both knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and flavored to perfection. The portions were so large that both my husband and I ended up bringing half of our entrees home. This has DEFINITELY become our go to for phenomenal Thai food.

Calamari was like fried rubber bands! So I know it was not fresh but frozen out of a bag!! Penang curry was like baby food slop! Pad tie was foul! Never recommend this place.

Not many people eating in tonight. Servers were prompt and attentive. Crispy spring rolls were really good (there's 4 in one order!). The beef red curry (3 of 5 spicy) was tasty and plenty spicy. The Brussel sprouts were different, fried leaves with soy sauce and garlic. The special garlic dish with cabbage and chicken needed more garlic. The server brought a plate with three containers of different Thai spices, which helped up personalize our meals. I'll go again. It's a higher price than I remember, but the food is good and plentiful.

Ordered chicken Panang curry and a Thai iced tea. Curry was watery with not many veggies, unless you count the obnoxious pile of green peppers and about two red ones. Not worth the money or the hype.

Scam! They are closed on Monday and take orders when you show up the restaurant its closed. I called to get a refund and the girl acted like she didn't understand what I was saying. A week later I am still waiting for a phone call and a refund- Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love Thai food and have the same dishes all over the country and have never had such a bad experience or such awful food. The green curry which is never olive green not only looked disgusting but it had almost no vegetables and they were mushy and it may have had 2 small pieces of chicken. It was too disgusting looking to eat. There was also no rice even though it’s supposed to be included and we requested brown rice on the ticket. The wonton soup was mediocre at best and the drunken noodles were globs of noodles stuck together in big clumps and were very spicy even though we asked for them to be mild. The servings were much smaller than any other Thai restaurant anywhere. Normally we would have brought it back but we were here to care for a sick relative and it was late and we just didn’t have time. I called the following day first in the morning to let the owner know about our experience and finally was able to reach him that night as a courtesy. Instead of listening and caring all he wanted to do was argue, and defend himself and blame it on me for not bringing it back last night. Most owners would care when a custom has a bad experience but but not this one. There are many Thai restaurants in this area. Save your money and try one that cares about what they are servings and their customers.

I've been here before but didn't write a review the first time. This place has THE BEST and NICEST servers of any Asian cuisine place I've visited in Delray. The food is as great as any other Thai place, but the service is the star of the show.

Last time, my friends and I showed up half an hour before closing and they did not show an ounce of annoyance. In fact, the server kept us a little over because we were having a wonderful conversation with her. Our server checked on us several times and gave me free rice with my curry. Food is great, but the service and ambiance are what keep me coming back. The decor is unique and worldly. Love the wall art and lighting.

This time I came for lunch and their lunch menu has a wide range and isn't super cut down like some other places. And they give you a LOT of food. The combos all come with a whole side of pad thai. My husband and I saved ours for dinner. He ordered a thai iced coffee and the straw had a cute little flower made from the wrapper!

As for the food itself, I've had their noodle soup, curries, and katsu chicken the first couple times. This time I had the garlic special lunch combo. Noodle soup was okay, but the katsu and curries were amazing. The garlic special with pad thai were really good too. Yet to try their sushi but I would say their Thai curry selection is the star of the restaurant.

I'm moving to NY this year, so this will definitely be one of the places I'll miss!

Pad Thai was excellent

I went for sushi because their restaurant has sushi in the name but they told us they didn’t serve it anymore only Thai food. I have nothing wrong with Thai food I love it but it’s kind of misleading. I just hope they can take it out of their testy name so others aren’t disappointed if they’re going strictly for sushi. It’s a wonderful place though

Atmosphere is nice, something like an upscale casual. Service was excellent but not rushed and food was delicious. Presentation of each dish was beautiful. Prices were on par with similar restaurants and there's plenty of parking. Restaurant wasn't super busy when we went as it was late for lunch but early for dinner. We will be back.

Very disappointing. Order spicy seafood dish. Menu has it comIng with shrimp scallops calamari and salmon. And veggies. I asked for no salmon maybe more other stuff. And asked for more broccoli than other veggies. No problem
I got no salmon. Good. But got two tiny shrimp two scallops and two sort of twisted pieces of calamari. And veggies. For $24. Seriously? (And not spicy in Leest). Tried to get waitress whole meal to let her know but couldn’t get her. She came at end of meal and I told her. She said sorry. She’ll tell chef. Oh gee thanks.

This place is personally very overrated and overpriced in my opinion. If you like seafood, I would NOT recommend going here. I had the combination seafood Pad See Ew. The noodles were okay, just standard. However, the seafood was very disappointing. The combination of seafood consists of Shrimp Snapper, Scallops and Squid. First, all the seafood was kinda cold, it tasted like it sat for a while ,but I kinda just let it go ,but the squid was basically tasteless and tasted like literally nothing honestly. The scallops were way overcooked and it tasted similar to rubber. The shrimp was literally raw and tasted slimy and mushy. The snapper was probably the most disappointing. My sister and I got the same thing and we each only got one piece of snapper. The piece of snapper had a fried batter around it and it was bland. Getting one piece is fine ,but it was sludgy, tasteless, and edible. I don't typically write bad reviews ,but this an experience I felt that had to be shared. Go here at your own risk. If you're used to eating thai food, you will most likely be disappointed honestly.

After residing in Delray Beach for 6 years, we've sadly passed by this gem all to often and had never thought to enter.
From start to finish, we had a wonderful dinner. From Japanese beer to sushi and curry, it was splendid. Our only unsure experience was the stuffed wings that we wouldn't reorder however with that being said, we will be returning for their curry and sushi.

The only Thai restaurant that i have gone to and the food was not good. It was my birthday dinner with my family. Disappointed.

Wait staff was excellent. She made good suggestions. Food was excellent with a nice presentation.

They have a really good pad Thai and also all of there sushi rolls were very fresh and a clean restaurant.

Wonderful food and friendly service! We dine here and order take out all the time. The green curry is delicious.
