Casual strip-mall mainstay offering Thai fare including curries & stir-fried dishes.
Siam hut is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the area. I can't recommend this place enough. I've been going here frequently for 10+ years, and everything they make is always amazing. They also take the time to remember you and exactly how you like your order. The staff really cares and puts a lot into making their customers happy. Their restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere with many traditional Thai style decorations. Personally, I always get the Chicken Red Curry, Tom Kha Gai (in the photos), Chicken Pad Thai, Kanom Being, Thai toast, Beef Lo Mein, and Chicken Pad Thai. I've been to a lot of places, and these guys are the real deal. If you're new to Thai food, or thinking about trying Siam Hut, do yourself a favor and go!
Visited the Siam Hut restaurant for lunch. Had Som Tum, the classic, crunchy, sour-salty-sweet green papaya salad, as a starter and Chicken Pad Thai as main course. The flavors of this dish are centered around a sweet-savory fusion. Salty, nutty, and with that slightly sweet sauce, it's a treat for taste buds! The taste of my dishes were authentic to what I have eaten in the streets of Bangkok. The location is traditionally furnished, the waitress was attentive and very friendly. I did not have to wait long for my food. There were only a few other guests so it was very quiet this day. Value for money was good.
Let me just say this dining experience was incredible!! We have been ordering take out and seriously never again, WE ARE ALWAYS DINING IN!! We ordered the spring rolls, satay, masamam curry, and fried pork. Everything tasted fresh. The best part was how the white rice was served. The servers were great, food was even more delicious! I can’t wait to go back ((:
This place is truly one of Southwest Florida’s hidden gems. It’s located in a small strip plaza in south Cape Coral. There’s no fancy building or signage or anything to grab your eyes. Just a simple sign on the building. But, don’t let that dissuade you from making this a definite stop for a meal!
When you open the door and step inside immediately you feel at rest. Beautiful and quaint decor. You get a sense of privacy. Dimly lit with music playing softly. Conversations amongst patrons is quiet.
The food is absolutely fantastic! Seasoned to perfection. People often associate Thai food with spicy overpowering flavors. Not so, here. With such a variety of tastes there is definitely something for everyone. Yes you can get spicy foods, but it’s not every single dish. I’ve tried numerous dishes and never disappointed.
The staff is very friendly and attentive yet not overly. They allow you space to enjoy your ‘quiet evening out’. So if your thinking about having that quiet evening with great food and quaint ambiance please, please give this great gem a try.
Fantastic food! We went right after they opened and it was very relaxing and nice. The atmosphere and service were good as well. We both got different curries and both tasted amazing!!! Vegetarian and vegan options available. Definitely visit if you like Thai food. I will be back! :)
We've been going to Siam Hut since we moved here in '95. This is definitely our "go to" for delicious Thai cuisine. I always have a craving for chicken pad Thai and they make the tastiest in the Cape! Very quaint ambience inside, friendly and fast service. Also, have gotten takeout, like tonight with chicken fried wontons, beef pad siew and chicken pad Thai, of course. They also make great vegetable fried rice.
Never disappointed at this Mom/Pop restaurant!
Recomiendo Siam Hut 100%.
Food was great, four stars because I ordered tofu pad thai and there was only five little cubes of tofu and mostly noodles :(
Good food and even better service.
The best Thai food
Essen ok. Service ok.
Leider aber nicht mehr.
Ich kenne wesentlich bessere Thailänder

Love this place!!!
Food very delicious and nice place. Even though from the outside it doesn't look nice, but so often that's where you find the treasures, behind the unimpressive facades.
Food was ok but selection is limited for a Thai Restaurant
Bueno, bonito y barato.
Good Pork fried rice
Nothing special, the food was average, rather carefully seasoned. There is room for improvement when it comes to Thai flavors. The ambience is a bit dated, but ok.
Siam Hut is the absolute best place for authentic Thai Cuisine in all of Cape Coral! The servers are kind and very attentive. My family loves the Tom Kha soup, Chicken Pad Thai and all of the different Curry’s!
The wife and I tried the Siam Hut on Del Prado, just north of Cape Coral Pkwy. It was amazing! We weren't sure what to expect as it was in an older strip mall. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Service was quick and courteous. The food was exceptional! Finally found a Thai place that isn't afraid to bring the flavors. We had the gyoza (they called it something else), it was really good. My wife got the green beans with hot and spicy chili sauce with chicken. I got the Crispy Trio with pork. The heat ratings are mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot. We both got them hot. They were hot, not too hot, and they still had great flavors, so the heat didn't overpower everything. They even bring out extra spicy chili oil in case you need more heat. My wife will probably go with the medium next time, since they bring you more chili oil, if needed. This place has been open for over 30 years. It's a real gem!
The absolute best wonton soup, pad thai, curry and I’m sure everything else on the menu!! Authentic and delicious. Great service too!
Delicious food, good service and old school atmosphere. Also very reasonable prices. Has never been busy when I've been there and I visited several times, which makes me feel bad. They deserve to have a line at the door. I really enjoy it there.
I’ve been coming here almost my entire life, love this place and the service. But the food is out of this world!
Nothing bad to say about this place. A sign was at the front notifying us of a potential wait time due to lack of staff. Which was appreciated. But they seemed to be doing fine even with being understaffed. Food was delicious. Service was quick sweet and to the point. Restaurant is set up in a nice Thai feeling.
The best Thai restaurant in Cape Coral!
Siam Hut has gone way down hill. Used to be a 4.5-5 on food. Did take-out tonight. The Tom Yun Goong was flat and lacked the Lime Juice and Kaffir Lime taste. My Massaman Curry was also very flat and should have had roasted peanuts in it. There were absolutely none in the entire dish. My wife's Stir Fry was more of a Chinese mushy dish and did not taste stir fried and crisp at all.
Such a shame that what was one of the best restaurants in the Cape has gone so far down hill.
Ordered Samosa, Red Curry and Pad Thai. Very satisfied!
Tom yum soup is watery
Pork curry dish on a bed of vegetables had almost no vegetables. They were unresponsive when I pointed it out.
Not coming back.
This restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall, but inside it is decorated in a delightful Asian style. I enjoyed a delicious tofu red curry and my husband had the tofu stir fry with snow peas and mushrooms. Both dishes had the freshest vegetables and flavoral sauces. The one and only dessert option is the fried banana and it was so yummy! I also had their hot tea and it had a warm red hue and light flavor. We really felt like we made a good choice for dinner.
We have always had a lovely experience anytime we dine at the Siam Hut. The atmosphere is quiet and conducive to visiting you dinner companions, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch.
The best that curry in the city ! You are missing out if you arent ordering from here!
No longer serving lunch
This is Cape Coral’s best restaurant. My family and I have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly.
Absolutely horrible noodles and the waitress was so unfriendly, and she was just angry looking the food we had was pad Thai it had a foul smell & I couldn’t eat it .I will never go back !!
Love the appetizer sampler, panang curry is amazing, atmosphere is very relaxing. Staff is very friendly and personable. Love feeling like a regular here. Food is all hot, fresh, made in house. BEST FRIED RICE EVER!!
The best Thai food I have had in years!
When you pull up to the building you think meh … maybe not. But go in! It’s gorgeous inside and the food is terrific!
This place is a gem. Beyond the absolutely incredible and authentic menu, the atmosphere is truly stunning from the moment you open the door. Throw in a wonderful group of staff and you’ve got Siam Hut!
Food and service is good.
I absolutely love Siam hut! We go there so often that we became friends with the owners and staff! Great food and atmosphere ❤️❤️❤️the red curry is amazing, that’s what I get every time! It can be super spicy though, so I always get mild!
Never disappointed!
Love it here! The chicken panang curry is my favorite!
More of a 3.7 ⭐️...
Place was pretty empty and server took awhile to take our order. There was a slight language barrier as we said we were ready to order and she walked away saying "Okay"... Uhm, where are you going?
Anyway she finally came back, I ordered the Pad Thai and wife had the Pad Kee Mao. Mine had rice noodles, beef, scallions and crushed peanuts. Wife's had egg noodles, veggies and shrimp (I counted 3 medium sized). She said hers was good but not great. Mine was meh. The peanut sauce was very pasty, which kind of felt like leftover spaghetti with sauce. It left a filmy feel in my palate which I continuously washed down with water.
We were not impressed, considering they have great reviews. Maybe it was their off day but other than the food, the smell in the establishment was not pleasant. I think the carpet may need replacing or just better ventilation.
I judge Thai restaurants based on the Pad Thai (a classic dish) and spring rolls, although I frequent many Thai dishes. Tried the pad Thai a few times just to be sure. It was not good! Finally settled on the cashew chicken and the fried chicken won tons as my favorite.
One of our favorite restaurants for 8 years now. This is a family run restaurant - it is not an Olive Garden or Outback, Thank God. They might have an off night once in a while. In hundreds of meals here, I've had some that were better than others, but none that were bad. The owner might give you stink eye if you deserve it. As long as we've known these folks, there are times we have conversations and times when they are too busy to be friendly. Tell me in a review that they were rude to you, that just tells me you did something to provoke it. Tell me that the SUSHI was not very good, I know you're either lying or reviewing the wrong restaurant, because they don't even DO sushi. How the heck do you give a restaurant one star and complain about the sushi when they don't serve sushi? There are at least two one star reviews on Google that are apparently fake. If you like the real deal Thai food served in a timeless, traditional atmosphere, by a modest, honest, nice Thai family using family recipes, this is as good a place as you will ever visit. If you're looking for Cheese Cake Factory, you need to go to Orlando.
Very cute, small restaurant located in the cape. Not much outside but don’t judge it by the outside. I went here because they were listed as a finalist in the gulf shore magazine. An inexpensive menu but wasn’t as much flavorful, I don’t care about the prices at places . The beef quality was chewy like rubber, chicken was dry, I and the pad Thai . They use styrofoam and that’s wasteful and taste like dish washer. So many good reviews , and recommendations. Not for me. I’m half Italian and half Thai . Just no
Good food and great service. Not a lot of parking. The restaurant was nicely decorated.
I have been eating here for 20 + years with my family. This is as authentic as it comes in Cape Coral. I am so glad to see this place is still up and running we need more places like this in our town. The chicken fried rice and pad Thai is spot on.
Don’t judge a book by its cover!!!! This gem is in a small strip mall and serves a delicious and delightful fare. We tried it first as takeout and returned two weeks later for an encore. The restaurant is quaint and has a lovely decor. Please do yourself a favor and try this fabulous Thai restaurant.
Sushi was below average, no flavor. They need more help/staff there.
Phones are not Priority. Called 15 times and still no answer. Great food… Lazy Service. I Rarely leave a review but my father loves the food and they left me on hold for 40 minutes before the phone was left off the hook in order to evade calls. Lazy. Hundreds of dollars and continuous business. Gone.
In general, the food is excellent.
The vibe is outdated and nothing has been done for at least 5 years to the design of the restaurant. They don't let anyone sit at the tables at the window cause someone once drove through the window but they also don't make any effort to utilize the space in a more efficient manner.
But again, the food is excellent until it's not,,, and then you have to deal with the head waitress who is just rude and somewhat inconsiderate in that moment. It's like she feels personally insulted that we don't like the overly sweet food and wants to shoooo us out but she can't.
The food is good. It would be nice if the place is modernized and if we have less rude waiters. I understand that many of these businesses like to keep everything in the family but sometimes,,,, sometimes family can hurt your business too ;)
This is an amazing place you should check out.
Best Thai restaurant in SW Florida for sure, been going for 28 years and have no intention of stopping
Best Thai food ever… very friendly staff and nice ambience
Could use a refurbished
Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Such a talented chef. The waitstaff is great and this place has such a peaceful ambiance. Makes me crave it just thinking about it.
Food was average. We eat here before in 2014 but back then the food was better.
This place is amazing. Great quality food and very authentic.
The best Pad Thai in the Cape! We’ve tried numerous other places in the Cape, and not one of them comes even close to theirs. We do have to drive a little farther to get here, but their Pad Thai is definitely worth it!
Visited the Siam Hut restaurant for lunch. Had Som Tum, the classic, crunchy, sour-salty-sweet green papaya salad, as a starter and Chicken Pad Thai as main course. Always the place to go for us for thai food
Food was pretty good. Service is friendly. Restaurant was a bit dark.
It was the worst meal I have had there. I had the pad Thai. The favor was not at all
Like it has been
great!!!!
Gutes und preiswertes Essen mit freundlicher Bedienung.
Wir sind immer gerne dort.
The best Chinese (Thai) food in the Cape and Fort Myers. One of our restaurants we frequently return too.
Food good. Service is quick. Eating area is clean
The restaurant itself was a little warm but it's summer in Florida so...
Siam Hut is the best around.
Best fried rice!!!!
Don't order to-go or door dash, etc. I paid $8 for a half pint of Tom kha ..literally like a side cup portion. Isn't very authentic compared to other local places with MUCH greater value.
My wife and I have been going to the Siam Hut since 1993. Outstanding food, service and atmosphere.
Soup was ok shrimp appetizers good currys were good cute place but not 5 stars
We've been going to Siam Hut since we moved here in '95. This is definitely our "go to" for delicious Thai cuisine. Never disappointed at this Mom/Pop restaurant!
Very good food, normally we do take out orders at this place but yesterday we dined in.
Place is clean. I love red curry but tried a different dish this time. You can choose from light to Thai hot for your dishes. I like medium hot, that's already pretty hot. Appetizers are very tasty as well.
I totally recommend this place.
Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced
Just as good as it was 20 yrs ago when I first tried it.
The fried tofu was good. The rest of the meal was a huge disappointment. We had spring rolls which were adequate, the chicken satay was as cold as if it came right out of the refrigerator and the pad Thai had no flavor except for being sweet. It had been several years since the last time I ate there and I won't be going back. This place used to be excellent, I don't know what happened, maybe change of ownership. Too bad 👎
The food here is outstanding! This restaurant is must for any Thai food lover or foodie.
Complex and interesting flavors, fresh food, lots of vegetables, nice ambience, and good service.
We got the appetizer sampler, duck royale, jungle curry, and shrimp soup. Everything was delicious and we look forward to trying more next time.

Wer Thai essen mag, ist hier richtig. Sehr schöne Ambiente, authentische Atmosphäre, gewohnt Thai Freundlichkeit und das Essen ist exzellent. Tipp: Tisch reservieren. Sehr, sehr gut besucht!
My favorite Thai food in the area! Their curries are amazing and super authentic. Fast, and lovely customer service.
When we lived in Cape Coral we enjoyed visiting Siam Hut oh, it is owned by a friend of ours they have delicious food they work very hard to give people their best! I would recommend this place to everyone.
Best Thai Food in Cape Coral by Far
Best Thai resturant excellant staff, great food, loved their service!!!
Sweet mother of god this was the most delicious meal I’ve had in a long time. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I’ll definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for some fire Thai food.
We ordered satay, beef lo mein, and green curry with chicken. All of it disappeared pretty quick.
Pleasant atmosphere, good service, appetizers were tasty but both our meals were off. One was salty the other a Pad Thai tasted like sweet n sour and was not suppose to be. Last visit was very good so not sure what happened but it will be a while before we try them again.
We got the chicken panang and it was amazing! We always love Thai food and this restaurant did not disappoint!
Absolutely delicious food! Relaxed atmosphere. Generous servings. Fair prices.
First time to go there. Food was fantastic. Will go again.
Food was ok. Pad thai was very sweet, dry and full of peanuts. We also ordered chicken fried rice. It was more like basic Chinese fried rice than authentic thai fried rice.
Food is amazing atmosphere was super clean drinks where great
Great dishes, favorite panang curry! I've been going there for 27 years...
Fantastic food. Prices are reasonable, service excellent.
Must go. Great food, wonderfull people
Very good food, reasonably priced and nice decor. Would advise against choosing the “hot” option got stir fry or noodles
Amazing Som Tum papaya salad, ordered medium with just the right amount of spice. The Siam rolls (4) were excellent and plenty to share. Lots of choices for the vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters in our group.
Very disappointed in the quality of the food. We ordered Tom Yum Going, Kanom Bieng (crepe), Papaya salad, Naem Sode (ground chicken salad), pork Pad Si Ew and Sweet Basil Chicken. The best dish was the papaya salad. All the other dishes lacked depth in the seasoning and skimped on ingredients. The soup was bland, with one mushroom. The chicken salad was overwhelmed with lemongrass. The noodles were mush with two small broccoli florets. And the Basil Chicken wasn't even available. Wouldn't recommend!
Great food and plenty of it. Decent prices too.
Surprise to find good Thai restaurant around the area. Ordered red curry, noodle and stir fry dish, they all came out wonderful. The service is bit slow though.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Best Tom Kha Gai EVER! You guys ROCK! I totally recommend.
Delicious Thai food! I enjoy the green, red chicken curry, fried dumplings and the Pad Woon sen!
The food is ok for the cape. Would have given them three stars but went to eat there 25 minutes before they close and they wouldn’t let me sit. Change your hours of you don’t want to be open . It’s not like I got there 5 minutes before closing time.
Yummy I like this place
Fantastic food and exceptional service!!! Always delicious!
Consistently the best Thai food in the area
Good food and decent prices
Excellent food
Fantastic food and good service 👍
Terrible service, I waited 20 minutes after my friends got their meals until mine finally came out and they were done eating already.
Good curry and Som Tum
I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants and this is one of my absolute favorites. The sauces and curries are on point and the inside is very nicely decorated. Highly recommended!!!
I love this little place, great food!
this place, the owners + staff, deserve much more than five stars!! when i was a regular it didnt take long to be welcomed in and have my order known as "the usual"!! coming here felt like coming home and the food is to die for!! siam rolls are AMAZING, and the thai toast is sooo good. Their rice is absolutely unmatched and their sriracha fried rice is the best of the best!! i love siam hut!!
Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Delicious food. Fast service always.
Food is always fresh and delicious. Local owned and operated. Remember to support our local businesses.
Delicious fresh vegetables and chicken dishes. Service can’t be beat! Definitely go there. Prices are great too!
Good quality food. Great service.
The first time I visited Siam Hut was in 1995. The food today is as fresh and delicious as it was 25 years ago. Very friendly service and calm ambiance add to a enjoyable dining experience.
Excellent
The food is amazing and the prices are even better! Great quality Thai cuisine that won't break the bank.
I've actually only eating here a couple of times. With at least three people each time nobody has ever gotten anything that was bad or unsettled. The food has been spot on and excellent I've eaten in and taken out good quick service friendly staff they aim to please and they provide a high quality product thanks to the Siam hut I love my Thai food
We love Siam Thai Hut. One of the best chicken fried rice in town (ask them to add basil). Their lunch soup and salad is great. We hit this place up a couple times a month and it is always flavorful and consistent.
Order combination appetizers, phad Thai chivken, low mein chicken and chicken fried rice. Did not get the Phad Thai chicken. Called and went back. Only two people working there. Paid for but still did not get phad thai chicken. They gave us more chicken satay. Said we would have to wait 40 minutes. Won’t go back there again.
Good food, authentic taste, good ambience and backed by excellent service.
The service and the food was amazing. Highly recommended
My favorite Thai place in SWFL! Every dish I have sampled here has been delicious, without exception. They serve up huge portions with fair prices for both lunch and dinner. Despite the unassuming location, the interior atmosphere and decor is tasteful, exotic, and romantic.
The service is flawless. Every member of the serving staff that I have interacted with over the years has been friendly and attentive. I've never run out of water and my food always comes out fast and fresh, even when they're extremely busy. I have never had a single complaint and every person I've ever brought here has loved their meal.
If you are a spicy food lover you need to try Thai! Siam Hut offers the option to customize your desired heat level. I order my food one level below the spiciness I want (usually hot) and ask for a side of chili oil so I can increase the intensity incrementally. It's a solid method that I recommend to everyone after once making the mistake of ordering a dish "Thai hot." It was one of only two dishes that has EVER been too spicy for me (and still I ate it, I just cried the whole time). If you have a more typical spice tolerance I would advise using this same strategy, but maybe ordering mild or medium to start and adjusting to taste from there.
Highly recommend trying the appetizer sampler & the red curry!
Best Thai restaurant in town. Have been open and work the same family since the mid 80's.
Love the food! We always always always get green and red curry. Yummy! We also will throw in the Lo Mein in or orders because that is delicious too. We are regulars
Good food
Excellent food and service
The best Thai I've ever had. I mean it.
Long-standing Thai experts making top 3 Thai dishes in SWFL. Authentic & dependable deliciousness. Do it.
Great food try it you'll love it
The place was absolutely beautiful on the inside set up traditionally and also American the food was the best. This was my first time there and it will definitely be one of my favorite places for Thai food the service was amazing all the vegetables were fresh the meat was cooked properly it was good quality
I love this place. I spent years in Thailand and their food is wonderful. I have tried many Thai restaurants in Florida all over and have yet to find one that is the equal of this place. The owners and staff are above reproach.
Very kind
Fantastic food and gluten free options! I had the panang curry with pork and it was fantastic. I chose the mild spice option (I'm not big on spicy food) and it was perfect. I highly recommend this place.
Pleasant decor, nice staff and great authentic cuisine, would highly recommend!
Best Thai place ever! Their chicken lomein is AMAZING! and their prices are just right! I highly recommend this place.
Good food
Good value for very flavorful entrees.
Best pad thai I've had, very flavorful!
