He also liked the sweet and sour chicken he had. The free item was fried crab stick and that made him happy. My partners dish of drunken noodles with tofu was a total knock out, most savory flavorful dish of the bunch. Cheese sticks had great flavor and cheese pull. My green curry was basically a sad coconut milk broth but I admit it was chock full of fresh vegetables and tofu just no green curry flavor.

Love this place! The free appetizer roll is delicious! Have never had anything I didn’t like! They have a large variety of cooked rolls as well as traditional raw rolls, and if you don’t like sushi they have a large variety of other selections. Even my picky kid found something he loved in the stir fry udon noodles with beef.

Fantastic. Tried a few items from the menu, all were freshly prepared, served quickly and tasted great. I especially enjoyed the boba or bubble milk tea. They didn't have any flavors but it was still delicious. Clear soup is a must have.

We had a wonderful time at Masa! We had a table of 7 and I was so impressed with our wonderful server. She was kind and constantly refilling the drinks. They gave us a delicious crab appetizer for free. The salad and soup that came with the hibachi was delicious. I ordered the steak hibachi and could not believe the size of the portion. Very tasty. I a seemed my steak to be rare and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were also perfectly crunchy. I love their thai ice tea because it is not heavily sweetened. The best I ever had. The entire staff is kind. I’ll definitely be back!

Again, I had to go to the cupboard to get soy sauce. I will eat at Masa again because this is the first time I have ever been disappointed with their food. Maybe they had a substitute cook that day.

They gave us a tempura krab and cream cheese on the house when we first sat down. It was very good. Sushi was good was not alot of rice so that's great. Sashimi was really good as well but a little too pricey. The chicken teriyaki was horrible. The noodles were very mushy. The sauce was bland and the chicken flavorless. It also did not resemble chicken teriyaki just a piece of grilled chicken with sauce dumped on top. Soup was alright could have used more shrimp and mushrooms. Seaweed salad was good.

Life kitchen app shows a complaint upon inspection where lobster roll is misrepresented because they were using crawfish instead of lobster. That is concerning.

My sister and I love this place. One of the best sushi restaurants in Hernamdo County. I have ate here plenty of times and will keep coming back. Service is always wonderful, and the best place I have been to on my birthday last year.

My husband and I have been talking about getting sushi for a few weeks now and decided to get some today for my birthday/valentines day. It was alright, the flavor was good but every roll we got just fell apart completely, the one fried roll i had was fried super lightly and it was just extra soggy which we live pretty close to the restaurant so it shouldn't have been that soggy and all 3 of the rolls that I ordered were supposed to have fish eggs/masa and none of them did. Idk if they were out but it would have been nice to know since that's one of the reasons I chose my rolls. I know that restaurants are usually swamped on valentines day but my husband and I have both worked in restaurants a long time and he said it was pretty empty inside when he went in.

It might've just been an off night or a new cook who knows.

I met a friend who I hadn't seen in a while for lunch here today. We actually stayed for over 3 hours catching up. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured to leave. It wasn't packed so there were open tables. The food was delicious as usual and the service was great! Not only did the waitress give us the time we needed, but even after the bill was paid, she asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Love this restaurant!

I've been here a couple times and personally, I really like their food. I haven't really had anything bad so far. I have heard they failed some food code things but honestly the times i've been, everthing was clean, looked good and tasted great.

Overall, it was ok. I ordered a lunch sushi special it was supposed to come with a miso soup but instead came with clear soup that at best tasted like hot dish water. Our waitress didn't seem too interested in serving, so I said nothing about the soup. Especially after my friend asked for coffee and was told NO, then the waitress proceeded to bring her a cup of water and a lipton tea bag.🤨 Otherwise, my sushi was tasty, and my friend enjoyed her Mexico roll.

Absolutely a great experience at Masa Asian bistro. No rush to get the orders out, appetizersout first then a break until entrées served. Total of 2 hours relaxing and eating. Can't wait until we can go back.

We really enjoyed take-out from Masa during our visit. We were staying at the motel next door, and we got take-out at least once a day. They have a diverse menu, and a full bar.

I Order sweet and sour chicken no tang at all. Ordered fried rice looks like they just made white rice brown. No veggies or pork anything in it. Yellow curry was ok but cold. Should of went to Chinese place that's in same shopping center cause I know how there food is. I won't go back to masa

Recently ordered food from here through Uber eats and it was a mistake! The pad thai was very soupy, they gave me the wrong sushi roll, the thai fried rice had old, hard peas with three slices of jalapeño, amd bubble tea was chalky sugar water. Very disappointing, for the cost of the food I expected better quality. This place used to be good but not anymore. Will not be returning.

FYI, Dirt floor Chinese restaurants in town have better food. Way over priced for the quality you get. Won't be dinning here ever again. Also, small proportions. You get maybe a half cup of rice with your meal.

They're better than anything else close by, just go ahead and spend the extra couple bucks to have this better food. Your body will thank you for treating it better. They're friendly and the food tastes good. It has a nice flair in the atmosphere where they tried and that should count.

I always get shrimp tempura suishi and it's always good.

This is mine and my husband's favorite date night spot. We love almost everything the menu has to offer, we always get our regular orders plus try something new each time. Every member of the staff is friendly and helpful, and they are super accommodating when we come as a whole family as well. The fish is always fresh and we always have a great time. 10/10

I ordered TOFU drunken noodles and spring rolls just last night. The noodles got me sick halfway in the meal, as they clearly were NOT made vegan as requested! It's a no-brainer that attention to detail and carefulness is Greatly LACKING here, as one should not have to run to a Doctor after eating a $20 meal!!! The only thing your staff should be serious about "paying extra" for is mindfulness regarding cross contamination and care for Listening to those who pay the high price to eat the slop here. The spring rolls were OLD and Soggy and obviously from lunch buffet. This is a disgusting place, and there is no saving grace for it. The prices are astronomical for what you get; it's just not worth it. I highly do NOT recommend and will never visit here again.

Masa is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is spot on for a cool little Asian Bistro, and the staff are great people. We've come to know the owners. Every time we walk in we're warmly, and genuinely greeted. Crystal (one of the owners) has fallen in love with my granddaughter and grandson. She's super sweet to them and always caters to them. Crystal's daughter is there sometimes and she's truly the most adorable little lady. It's great seeing a family owned business like this one doing well. I hope they continue to do so and are around for a very, very long time. Seriously, if you're craving sushi, hibachi, or a traditional platter, check them out. I think there's maybe two items on the menu we haven't tried yet and everything has been top notch. Now that I'm typing this, maybe the wife and I will go try out those last two items!

Very good food!

Tonight we celebrated my daughters’s 21st birthday in the private room. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. There were 17 of us. We had one server. She got every drink order correct and never failed to offer a refill or another round. Everyone’s order came out, correct (Which is not always easy to do when you’re serving 17 people all by yourself). But even more than that, the attention that she showed to my daughter was unmatched. I wish I remembered her name, but she was a young lady who was cheerful, polite, and great at her job. She made my daughter’s night even more special. So thank you.

We have been here a handful of times and the the last 2 were disappointing. The sushi is ok, but the actual prepared food is very bland, mushy and barely any meat. The color of the Mongolian beef was off and no flavor. We won’t be going back

We have been before and it was ok, but today I went for Mother's Day with my children and they failed to clean the Shrimp Tempura and they were loaded with shi... it made both my children lose their appetite completely, and I got the drunken noodle and it was so overwhelmed with soy it was soupy, salty and awful. They took off the shrimp but I paid $38 for some dried out white rice, a few bites of soy noodles and soy soaked gyoza. Will not be coming coming back. So sad. This was definitely not a good experience.

The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the vegan options. I ordered the spring rolls and drunken noodles without the egg and it was delicious! I ordered the pad Thai(just veggies ) to go. The decor was beautiful and the food was just what I needed after a long, eight hour drive!

We eat here twice a month the Sushi is always fresh and the presentation is great. My wife loves the Crab Rangoons and the hibachi is green although it’s cooked inn the back.

I got the hibachi steak and shrimp, my friend got the hibachi salmon, and both had the miso soup. Absolutely perfect! My steak was done exactly to order, and the sauce is chef's kiss! This was my first visit but it will not be the last - have to come back for the sushi!

This place is really gone downhill. The pad Thai that we had tonight was disgusting. It is nothing like pad Thai and the sauce tasted off. I’m hoping that they just had an off night, but it’s gonna be a little while before I go back there again.

Food was ok but the waitress and the old white guy that works there made my family who spent over $200 there uncomfortable. They kept rushing to clear our plates rudely and he even tried to take my plate that I was clearly STILL EATING as it was in front of me and I had my fork in my hand. He then stood by the bar and proceeded to stare at me uncomfortably. So i ate it rushed and my family got out. He rushed to our table to clear the plates while we barely made it out yet. Didnt even say "Thank you". Just made us feel like we were a burden. Again we were the only ones there and spent over $200. There was HARDLY any people there. Like one couple only. Very rude place. Let us enjoy eating the mediocre expensive food-! Never going back there again. Will stick to the other steakhouse in Brooksville that has better service and doesn't make you feel like you are a burden to even be in there.

I’m shocked that this place is still up and running. Worst food I have ever had. When they first opened I was excited to try their sushi. This was years ago. The rice was wet (supposed to be sticky and dry) and all of the rolls were sloppy and fell apart. I’ve had rolls fall apart on me before so thought maybe just a bad day or cook at the time. Went again weeks later, same issue. So, really decided this place doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Years go by and my daughter wanted to try it. I went for it again (sadly I don’t know why). The orange chicken had the strangest taste (wasn’t edible), couldn’t even describe it, but nowhere near what orange chicken should taste like. The drunken noodles were only okay because of the spicy beef, but definitely not how drunken noodles usually should taste. When we tried the sushi rolls, literally the same exact issue from years before. No sushi on the face of the earth should have wet loose rice that fall apart. The avocado on top was also wet? Just absolutely terrible meal again.
I have low standards for Asian cuisine in this area and this is by far the lowest bar ever. Publix sushi is far superior to this. It’s crazy.

I ordered water and it tasted like citrus mold. I asked for a new glass. This time I didn't drop the lemon slice into the glass. It still tasted like citrus mold. I am extremely allergic to this. I ended up throwing up my sushi because of this contamination!

Very disappointing. Slow service. I hate feeling like we were ripped off and not getting our moneys worth. We ordered the Thai Red Curry, and the Massaman Curry. Both came with hardly any sauce. We asked for more sauce, and were told they had run out. What kind of B.S. is that. They had just opened! How do you run out of sauce right after opening. They offered us Green Curry or Yellow Curry sauce to add to our dishes. We should have sent the dishes back. We did not get what we ordered. They should have told us they did not have enough sauce for our dishes, rather than serving them the way they did. Will never return!

Absolute garbage. I ordered masaman curry with chicken. There is absolutely no way it was actual chicken. It was mushy. Completely inedible. I literally threw it in the trash. This is quite literally the worst meal I have ever had tasted. I have never even considered writing a review before but this was unbelievably bad I had to. $30 dollars right in the trash.

I’ve been to Masa since it first opened. I always enjoyed the atmosphere there and the sushi they have is delicious. I always order the Cheese Wontons as my appetizer- and the times I’ve gone recently, they bring out a sample of a new appetizer to try. They have changed overtime, so the hibachi is not as I remembered/traditional. I’d recommend the sushi or any appetizer here!

This place is phenomenal. Sometimes you get a waitress who isn't the nicest, but the food is always spectacular. We've never had a bad experience here.

Called @ 5:55 PM Friday night. Said there was no wait. Got there, huge wait. Sat at sushi bar. Wife orders shrimp, I order sashimi and sake. 30,40,50 minutes go by... Everyone that came in after us is finished eating. 1 hour, I get the check. Shrimp, sashimi and the sake. We never got our food. Probably forgot to put the order in. They had an attitude about us leaving; blamed take out orders. Don't go here. 5 Guys would have been a better choice..... just read the response...... anyone see a pattern here? The owner is NEVER wrong. Read ALL of the negative reviews. It's always the customer's fault. 😳 WOW. Visit here at your own risk. I’ve had a lot of fried rice in my life and this was by far the worst. It was very strange and not like any fried rice I’ve ever had before. Soggy rice with chicken and a stinky sauce. Sushi was average. Fried ice cream tasted good but didn’t have the best texture. Staff was friendly and the restaurant itself looked nice.

The best sushi and hibachi around. The owners work hard and use the best ingredients.

This place is awesome. We eat sushi alot, let me say, first they give you free soup, then free crab deep fried. Service is amazing, bar tender actually knew how to make good drinks, something rare at these type of places. Very nice atmosphere and bright onthe inside. Food was outstanding. Defenitly we will going back

Always great sushi.

My wife & I took the day off & enjoyed a quick escapade for the weekend. We really enjoyed delicious Friday dinner & refreshing Volcano rum drink for 2 here. Pleasure meeting Crystal & her entire staff as they were attentive & amazing!! We'll definitely return when we are in the area again. Flaming Signature roll sushi was on point!!

I’ve been to all of the local Asian restaurants around the Spring Hill area, Masa is by far the best!

Good sushi but a little taken back by one of the works that was serving food and getting drinks refilled … he was super sweaty and grossed me out… i get it but grab a towel, dry off, and dont serve food or drinks if you’re sweaty… i also couldnt tell if he washed his hands In between touching his face and going to the bathroom… he even did the silverware eek

I got chicken teriyaki and it was pretty good. My friends got sushi and pad thai and they thought it was good as well. The server was super sweet. Pricing was average and the amount of food you get is decent. They also played k-pop the entire which we enjoyed(mostly girl groups lol).

Always excellent. Service and food is always wonderful 😋
