Owner was so great! Had a mix up with our on-line order, but she remedied it immediately, reversed charges, and cooked up the new order in front of us. So fresh, hot and delicious! Staff was super friendly too. We will definitely go back and eat in next time.
Best steamed Dumplings, wonton soup and Spring Rolls. I had spicy Catfish which was very good. Could have been spicier. Next time Iβll remember to ask for a higher spice level. DH had sweet n sour chx n shrimp. Just a bit too sweet but still good. Good value I thought. Very cute rice shapes
Always decent food. The pad Thai had way too much sauce which took away from the flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their food.
The food prices were inaccurate on website by about 15%. The hot and sour shrimp soup was oily and bland. The cashew and veggie entree had an unpleasant sweet taste. My partner, who ate the springs rolls, said he liked them. The food was ready when they said, about 10 minutes. We wonβt be ordering again. It was an unpleasant experience for $40.
This is my favorite Thai place. I have been here multiple times and every experience is as good as the last. I love the open kitchen, you can watch the chef busily preparing everyones meals and there is the occasional flare-up from the grill. The serving staff knows the menu and food very well and can be helpful in recommending something new.
We have ordered from here many times and have enjoyed the food. We ordered last night with friends and were extremely disappointed. Portions were tiny and food was tasteless. Idk whatβs happened -perhaps the place has changed hands? Sad. Will have to find another decent Asian place down here now.
Food was outstanding, service excellent and restaurant was clean. We will go back!
Always decent food. The pad Thai had way too much sauce which took away from the flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their food.
Great food. Nice atmosphere.
Great food, reasonable price and portion in Lewes/Rehoboth area.

Authentic place with good food and very friendly service
Had the fried rice. Plenty to eat.

Very clean and great taste!
My favorite place to chow down for Thai cuisine.

We are vegan and gluten free and there are great options. Always friendly
On Saturday, August 3rd, my friends and I decided to dine at Bangkok Thai Cuisine for late lunch around 2:00pm in the afternoon before heading to Cape Henlopen, Delaware. My friends ordered drunken noodles and fried rice for the entrΓ©e, and I ordered mixed vegetables with steam rice. The food was not completely bad.
In terms of my food (mixed vegetables with steam rice), it was just bland. There was hardly any flavor to this dish. The sauce tasted like water. The drunken noodles was deeply soaked in oil. You will probably find more oil on this dish than a gas station. The fried rice was also okay and it was a little dry for my taste. And I usually don't like to complaint when I am hungry.
In terms of service, the waitress did not do much. She took our order and delivered our water and food. At the end of the meal, my friend took care of the bill and the rude waitress had the audacity to tell him to "Give Better tip." While she was verbally saying this to him, she made a disgusting face like Shrek. If Dreamworks was to make another movie, I really think this particular waitress could take the role of Shrek. The face was simply unpleasant and unnecessary.
I normally don't like to write negative reviews, but I felt that the experience had to be told to the general public even though I did not have to pay for my meal. This entire experience did not jive with me or my friends. I have written 99 percent positive reviews and you can see my other public posts. I have nothing to hide. The experience was just simply awful; however, the ambiance was cute. They even have a table for young children.
Being a vegan this restaurant is very accommodating and the staff are super friendly!
Orderd teriyaki chicken fried rice sent it back couldn't eat it 3 bites so salty and fishy will not return Dan S
Seafood menus were too salty and not delicious. Adding beef was better.
The food was superb and they had a kids play area so the kids were entertained while we ate!
First time at this restaurant. Service was friendly and very good. We had a party of 12 and we're the only party in the restaurant. The food was poor to fair at best. The salmon teriyaki tasted like it suffered from freezer burn. The shrimp pad thai was not fresh and also suffered from freezer burn. The muscles were rubbery and not fresh tasting. Small servings of calamari for the price. Will not return anytime soon
The best Thai food in DE
I was extremely disappointed in my experience.
1) Value for the cost was very poor
2) curry puffs: the stuffing was WAY too sweet. Left a horrible aftertaste. We didnβt finish
3) Tofu with pepper garlic sauce: the broccoli and carrots were dry and old. Literally the broccoli had a shade of beige. The sauce was gross and congealed.
4) Thai sweet and sour chicken: the sauce was extremely runny and I was told that the flavor wasnβt good.
The only item that didnβt completely turn us off was the cheese wontons. Everything else went in the trash.
Got take out with my friends and it was delicious. Loves the mango curry, and pad thai and pineapple fried rice.
We love it here! The food is always delicious and the service is always great. Highly recommend stopping by if you like Thai food!

My go to place when Iβm craving for Thai food. I usually order on line and pick it up. My favorites are Shrimp Avocado Rolls, Golden Tofu, Thai Basil Beef, Seafood Noodle Bowl and Shrimp Pad Thai.
Always amazing food and service βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
The food was amazing π―
I enjoy every time that I visit this establishment. The food is just outstanding. And the service is exceptional.
Green papaya salad and pad Thai are both great worth the stop
Fantastic service and the food is first class!
Good food at good prices, very nice staff.
Food is good i love it I recommend going to here for food
Buena comida asiΓ‘tica
Duck dish was small pieces thickly coated. Horrible taste overpowering spicy dish. Service was great many stops at the table food came out quickly.
Very disappointed. Got vegetable pad Thai, but it had no peanuts, no onions, no flavor. I have had pad Thai in many U.S. cities; this was the worst.
For being a restaurant the in Hoity Toity town of Lewes, I was very surprised of the low quality of food we got as a take out order.. I'm also surprised that this place really has little to offer in the way of an Asian atmosphere... it's plain...the furniture is awful and it was not the cleanest place I've been in... NOTE TO OWNERS .... You can do better !!!
A very nice surprise as we stopped here on our way through Lewes. Menu options were great as was the food.
Just stopped on the way home from.the Ferry. It was so great! The Mussaman Curry and Sticky Rice with Mango were both amazing!
Not much taste. Other than chemical.
The food is well priced and delicious. Grateful we have a place like this near the beaches!!
Tasteless food that does not resemble the richly flavored Thai food. We ordered red and green curry, we got a watery liquid with very few ingredients in it. The popular drunken noodle dish was dry and tasteless
we ordered take out and were disappointed by the quality of the food: it was bland, no spices, no kefir leaves, no lime. nothing tasted like Thai food we know.
The food was so good! The flavors in the sauces were amazing. I have never had a Chicken Basil with a gorgeous sauce like that--it was rich and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend!
First time here and the food does not disappoint. Pad Thai is done right and served mild so you can spice it up to your liking. The glass noodles were perfectly cooked and were really good. The fried pot stickers were excellent. It's reasonably priced and the serving sizes are more than adequate. It's not fancy, but it's a great spot for a casual meal of high quality. The service team is great as well and clearly take pride in what they're doing. I highly recommend you pay this place a visit. We're glad we did!
My first time getting Thai & glad it was a very good experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff super friendly & even made a new friend with another customer. Win win!!
Curry slaps
Great presentation but small portions and the chicken was overcooked and chewy. Ordered extra vegetables for a $2 charge but the plate of food was still half empty. I hope others had a bettwr experience.
Always in joy eating here.
Service and ambience were great, but the food was not authentic Thai. We ordered basil fried rice and drunken noodle, and neither dish tasted like the traditional Thai we enjoy. The cook seemed to have used spice/sauce other than fish/oyster sauce.
My friend and I are both vegan, and this place was amazing! The food was SOOO delicious that my friend and I ate it all, down to the last drop. IF I could think of anything we would have liked more, it would be for a little more rice. We felt the rice portions were a little too less for what we needed, so we just ordered an extra rice for $2. The people were extremely accommodating to my friend and I, even though we arrived later than we had planned, and their kitchen was supposed to have been closed. They still cooked us food and allowed us to stay until we were done eating. The staff was friendly and efficient, and patiently answered all our questions we had about what things were. Definitely above and beyond service! The inside was nice and roomy, with high tables, booths, and regular tables, and it wasn't crowded.
Huge menu, well prepared food and nice service.
Great food and service
I have enjoyed everything they have made from the mango salad to the yellow curry. You will love everything!
Love this place! The pineapple fried rice is a crave! Love the curries as well. Order from here frequently and itβs always great.
Lewes Location-Pineapple Curry with shrimp and Drunk noodles with chicken were delicious! 30 minutes from our home β¦well worth the drive!
First time there food was okay service was very good atmosphere was so so very cold in there they had space heaters all over the place. Paid extra for beef in my meal and Harley can see any beef.
I love Thai food so much, so Bangkok quickly became one of my favorite restaurants when I moved to the area about three and a half years ago. The food is fresh and authentic. When you pull into the parking lot there's a sign that reads "Thai Cuisine" above their door. It is located in a strip mall with a few other businesses.
The ceilings are high and the decor fairly simple and understated. But whatever is lacking in the plain interior is more than made up for in the quality of the food! I'd eat their food sitting in a cardboard box, and I'd enjoy the entire experience!
I've been here on several occasions and have never seen more than three other tables occupied. I really can't fathom this, I think this place is a hidden gem that most people may overlook. What a shame.
There is a menu on the table which lists several cocktails, and I usually pick the Mango Tango, which is made with tequila, triple sec, and mango juice. It is sweet and delicious. After ordering my usual, I saw the Gin Sling, and I think I'll try that next time. It has gin, lemon juice, and club soda. They have Thai tea, of course, and it makes one hell of a dessert drink, the Thai Tea Martini.
For starters I usually order the satay. You get 4 chicken skewers with a side of the peanut curry to dip. When it comes to ordering my entrΓ©e, I keep changing my mind until the server comes to take my order. I love everything, and it's such a hard decision for me! I've had the red and yellow curry, which both come with a side of jasmine rice. I've also tried the pad Thai and pad see ewe. There is nothing that I have tried here that doesn't make my mouth water just thinking about it!
Do yourself a favor and pay Bangkok a visit if you haven't yet had the pleasure! You're welcome!
Nice Thai food. wonderful service.
Five star service and food. A true Thai experience! Owner and staff are welcoming and the food is outstanding. Very clean, they even have a bar with $7 drinks, a good selection.
Nov 2022 update: we have seen a decline in the quality and quantity of the food. Canβt imagine how hard the inflation is on restaurants. However, when you increase your prices, there should be some consistency from what you got before. I believe they have some specialties like Curry. But, we have gotten take out twice now and VERY disappointed. Basically no chicken in the noodles dishes and the fried chicken they are just hard pieces of something. Only about five pieces with the #3 garlic for $13. Portion sizes last night totally unacceptable. $45 for three meals. Bummed, we probably wonβt return. They are so nice and accommodating though.
Nice atmosphere and very attentive staff.
Everything we've had so far is on point. I'm super picky when it comes to Pad Thai and this was the 2nd best I've ever had. The first is in my home state so not an option anymore. Very happy to find a place I can indulge. Cream cheese crispys and their dipping sauce is also amazing. We've had take out twice in one week, so definitely a place we will be returning. The staff is all very sweet as well.
However portion sizes are ok but usually I like having leftovers and there aren't enough for day 2. Love their hot sauce too.
Read the whole thing please....this is an old post i guess i forgot to post from late 2019 or early 2020 was given 2 stars: The service was slow and spring rolls came last. Not authentic. More american Chinese take on Thai dishes. Not heat in papaya salad, nor spicy beef salad. Tiny mediocre mango w sticky rice and only a touch of coconut cream. Thai ice tea was OK, but not homemade.
NEW REVIEW AUG 9 2022: Pretty Awesome! Lunch Service was excellent even with just the owner doing front of house. He was friendly and attentive and I asked who owned this place from last time since there is marked improvements. He did but admits he has tweaked his recipes. Thank goodness. The Thai icetea was exceptional and served in a nice size glasses. Hubs ordered something I would not have--avacado shrimp Spring rolls. YUMMY! I got the spicy beef salad and forgot to mention. add heat but it came out pretty good. The beef was perhaps a tad overcooked bc I usually eat that medium rare. And the iceberg lettuce a tad wilty and I prefer crunchy romaine. I ordered a side of sticky rice to go with my salad but I would've preferred it served in something other than tin foil bc it stuck to it. Hubs got a ginger chicken and beg stir-fry dish that was right tasty. For desert, I Ordered mango and sticky rice and that was good. very pretty esp in the white ceramic dinnerware and real utensils Thai style: fork and spoon. Other important to me i pressive details: Coke producta and nice paper dinner napkins and a clean bathroom. Overall it was less costly than our usual spot, very clean and of good value. Deinately my new favorite spot. 5 stars
Delicious food, reasonable prices and excellent service
Spacious modern spot in an otherwise non descript strip mall along the craziest retail mega strip anywhere. Excellent service. Good prices.
Stopped by and picked up the Chicken Basil which had a nice spice and flavor but portion size was small for the price .Food quality was ok .
I really was looking forward to eating Thai food based on the descriptive menu and selections. Our waitress was so kind and nice I feel bad having to leave such a low score. The service was amazing. It's solely based on the food. It's horrible π³. How do you mess up Pad Thai? Every single dish was sooo salty that we had ask for rice to help digest the food. We had 3 appetizers and 3 noodle entrees. They said they are "known" for their noodle dishes.
The waitress was kind enough to take the Thai basil mussels dish back and not charge us so I did not have to heart to complain about the other 5 dishes. I think from the lack of consumption or request to take the food home was evident that the food was not good.
Sorry but this is not Thai food
Awesome flavor!! Great service and large portions. Definitely will be returning
The best Thai food in the area. Excellent service and large portions.
Having lived in Bangkok for three years their food comes pretty close to home. Will be going back often. Service was excellent as well.
This place has become our go-to for a delicious and affordable meal in town. Service is always fast and with a smile, and most accommodating. Tables and booths both available, even a children's corner with toys to keep the kids busy while you linger over dinner. Spacious bar/counter allows solo diners to enjoy dinner comfortably. We also love how this place is open in the middle of the afternoon: 3 to 6 pm there's a happy hour special (two entrees + app for $25).
Try one of the lunch or dinner specials that are rotated regularly-- always something good! Nice variety of tasty appetizers, order at least one or two...Salads are a strong suit here at Bangkok Thai: Beef salad, larb gai, mango salad -- all are standouts, a bowl of fresh and healthy goodness perfectly seasoned and dressed.
Pad Thai is always a good idea, don't forget to ask for the extra seasonings and spices that you can add yourself tableside. Definitely recommend the dumplings and curry puffs, and their hot/sour soups have EXCELLENT flavor. Need more than just broth? try the "Big Bowl" soups listed under Noodles -- much more filling.
This is hands down the best Thai food in town. Don't miss this place!
Best Thai food I have had. Would come again.
I have been dining in this place for almost a year. The food and menu items are simply awesome. Please try crabmeat fried rice. It's simply awesome.
Kim is the best. She serves with a bubbly heart and a beautiful smile.
Excellent! Best Thai food in the area! Kim and the team at the restaurant are awesome. Very friendly and a great atmosphere! This is a must try as a resident or a visitor to the area. Dine in or carry out, it is always good!
Delicious food at reasonable prices with quick service. The mango cashew chicken was delicious!
Huge plate tiny portion. I ordered beef ball noodles soup, hubby ordered duck dish. Tiny portion for duck specialty dish with huge plate. My noodles tasted like too much msg. Sad actually, we love Thai food, but in Rehoboth Beach/ Lewes area, this is the only place to get Thai food. We used to live in South FL where tons of Thai restaurants are....we're too spoiled back then.
Iβm never seen a place this terrible. The portions were way too small. Way too much msg in the food and the beef smelled. It was way too overpriced as well. They couldnβt even get our orders correct.
Was very nice place, food was delicious.
Great place. Very welcoming staff. My husband hasn't had Thai food this good since forever! (I got take out) so when He opened up his dish and started eating he proclaimed
1."I'd like to marry whoever made this"
and then ..
2. " if tonight is my last night on Earth I will at least die completely happy. "
You ever have a taste of food and you just kinda melt out of your chair? This was it..
My son had the dumplings and said they were so delicious.. he also melted away. (Needless to say. I don't think you will be disappointed here. )
We will definitely come back and bring friends and family here.
Update::
In case you're wondering is it still good??
I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. We've been here over 5 years I think and this place has been our top favorite. My son and I just left and we are stuffed. The portions still huge, the service still wonderful and friendly. We unfortunately will be moving soon and we will miss it greatly but have enjoyed it thoroughly!!
The massaman curry and peanut sauce are delicious!
Have tried all of their curry offerings. Always delicious and filling!
Very good
Always delicious π Even non-foodie husband overate and cleaned his plate! Jasmine tea was nice on this rainy day π
Really delicious food, customer service has gotten better, and portions have changed to being smaller.
Fantastic. Appetizers, chicken satay and soup flavorful, spicy and hot. Nice place to have a long chat and some laughs with friends.
Muy buena atenciΓ³n
Wonderful!!!!
Food was best Thai I have had in Lewes so far. I have not found any Thai restaurants like back home in northern virginia, but this is as close as it gets. I was very impressed at the service with one server handling tables and pickups. Courteous and as prompt as possible given the short staffing. I try to tip more genorously when it is very clear the waitress is doing the best she can and still smiles.
I love their pot stickers!
Good food. Good service.
Very friendly staff with quick service and delicious food.
We were a party of eight
Very good service! We had a variety of dinners and shared. The food was outstanding. We were not rushed and were able to visit. It is worth repeating.
I'd eat there every day you let me know where else's u can get good thai food
Ate there tonight. First, the service is excellent- so nice. The wait staff are always happy and they are always great. Food is very good. I loved the salmon teriyaki. I eat out in NYC & NJ And this is my second favorite Thai place. Iβm in DE Now. I love the Thai salad, curry puffs (pictured) and rices, fish - pretty much most stuff on menu!
Great food very reasonable on the price
Chicken and coconut soup should have, oh, ya know, chicken in it -- there was none! And the Thai basil beef dish had zero spice and the sauce was watery. Very disappointed.
An enjoyable restaurant off the beaten path with authentic food and staff.
Decent Thai food. The thing that impressed me the most was the Thai iced tea. Dynamite!
Some of the other dishes are not so traditional (or expected). The basil chicken had some strange sauce and was not recognizable to me. It was tasty, but definitely not your standard Thai basil dish.
Also as other reviewers have posted, you get a tiny amount of rice! Yes the rice comes in cute molds of animals, but its maybe half a cup of rice.
The chicken satay was on point, tasted how it should and was well prepared.
Great Thai, we eat here at least twice a month!
Great taste delicious food; quick service! Excellent choice for vegetarian dishes
Excellent food and gracious, prompt service!
Everything was cooked perfect the food was amazing
Soup was very good. Meal was good. Could have been larger.
great thai!
Ordered the chicken salad for an appetizer was like licking a salt like. Ordered the crispy duck as the entree. Small portions of the salad and meal. Also Ordered Thai iced tea was 90percent ice. Won't be returning to this overpriced joint.
The ambiance was nice.... The Wonton Soup was good. spring rolls were delicious. Waitresses were friendly and helpful.
Very clean and staff was friendly. Prices were a little on the high side for portion size. Food was good and flavorful.
This was our first time trying this restaurant. All the food and drinks we had were awesome. Had the fried tofu, mussels for an appetizer. The peanut sauce was awesome. Had the shrimp hot and sour soup, and chicken mushroom soup, both a good option. For main course had pad Thai and duck curry. Will definitely come again.
Honestly I was impressed here after coming in thinking it was a tourist trap. We ordered 2 different curries and didn't feel like there was enough rice but I eat lots of rice so I just asked for some more.
Pad Thai and drunken noodles were on point. They also have a nice jar of pickled jalapenos, dry satay, and fish oil with chili. Use these to add umami bombs into your food.
Ok food. Red curry was bland
Bangkok Thai Cuisine never disappoints. Either dining in or taking out we always are impressed. Pad thai, red curry, steamed dumplings, are only a sampling of their delightful offerings.
This is my favorite Thai place. I have been here multiple times and every experience is as good as the last. I love the open kitchen, you can watch the chef busily preparing everyones meals and there is the occasional flare-up from the grill. The serving staff knows the menu and food very well and can be helpful in recommending something new.
Just finished a 50$ dollars order, i had all kind of food everywhere ive been, it was way below my expectations...
Blend
Oyster/rubber
Calamari/ chewable for ages, my daughter couldnt eat it
Duck was just a simple sloppy mess.
Way overpriced and small quantities
Not a lot of choices for Thai food at the beach. This one is probably the most decent.
Fantastic food, great cocktails, excellent service. Amongst the best Thai food I've had. Will definitely be back.
Thai Basil add chicken and broccoli.
Excellent. A very fair deal. Make it spicy!
Delicious food. Wonderful service at great prices. Definitely frequenting this restaurant.
Being a new transplant to the area, we had to hit up one of our favorites, Thai. Unfortunately, I think we might have found a dud. The prices seemed fair, until we saw the portion sizes (stay away from the duck, you'll regret the upcharge from your typical yardbird). All the vegetables seemed to have been entirely overcooked or just nuked after you placed your order, there was no crispness or contrast at all, just an overall mush. Worst of all, the curry brought nothing to the table. Literally. It has to be some the blandest Thai food my wife and I have ever had. Also, your extra vegetables (if chosen) come complete with cauliflower and broccoli.
So good! Amazing thai food and great service!
Excellent dinner tonight. This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and only my second time of eating Thai cuisine. I enjoyed every bite, both the wonton appetizer & the sweet n sour entrΓ©e. I will definitely be going back. Awesome customer service too.
First off the outside of the building doesn't do the inside decor justice. I'm usually really picky with Thai food because I grew up going to one of the best thai restaurants in nyc. Imagine my surprise when the duck broth soup was exactly like the one I grew up on. It literally made my year. It was the perfect anniversary dinner.
Food was traditional Thai and served piping hot. Be sure to ask for the spice and pepper tray. I was surprised it was not waiting at the table. What is a Rice Noodle Bowl without a handful of scoops of red peppers? =]
Great
Gives Thai food a bad name. Worst Thai food I ever had. Everything I ordered was below mediocre. Food was tasteless, blend and just plain awful. I don't know how they got good reviews. I really regret going there.
I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and I really wanted this place to be good. it was almost flavorless, and the prices were very steep. I went back again a few months later hoping that maybe it was just a bad day, but it was just bad food. The decor is a little bit off too. Looks like it used to be a coffee shop and they never remodeled. If you want good Thai food, go to sticky rice. They are legit.
Where do I begin...? Waiter was extremely disorganized, food left horrible after taste in mouth,McDonald's coffee taste premium in comparison. This is me being nice about the whole experience without going into details.
Really good food. Friendly service. Just wish they had more lunch specials and more affordable lunch specials. If they did I would go every week.
The food had good flavor, but doesn't come close to what they serve in NJ. That was the first time I had a chicken dish that had breaded chicken in Thai food.
I ordered several dishes (7) and they were all TERRIBLE. Ive eaten thai food from 20+ restraunts and this was awful. Low quality, small portions and nothing like thai food. I do not reccomend, neither did anyone in my group, we were all disappointed.
Always friendly staff and food is amazing!
Very good food
Delicious food, courteous service, good health practices. Sign just says, "Thai Cuisine" and Google routed me through an adjacent parking lot with no connection, but well worth the effort.
