Great Thai restaurant, we had been here many times! Their fresh rolls are amazing! I ordered yesterday drunken noodles extra spicy with less oil and they made it perfect.

First time trying Simply Thai tonight and I really enjoyed my meal. Ordered pad see ew with beef, asked them to make it spicy (3 stars). Good level of spice. Every Thai place is different so I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but it was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of beef and vegetables in my noodles too. I also ordered the Thai Iced Coffee. Some places add too much milk/cream or not enough and it just tastes bitter, they made it with the perfect ratio. Anytime Thai food tastes like home to me, I’m happy. I’d return for sure. Staff was also extremely nice.

Place was empty when we walked in but we saw a lot of take out orders being picked up.

I ordered takeout from here on a Sunday afternoon after driving by it many times and never stopping in. I was excited to see some different items on their menu compared to other Thai places nearby and ordered the nam sod as well as the kra prao gai. But were made with ground chicken but tasted so different. They were well made, flavorful and a good sized portion. We got spicy level 3 and it had a good kick, however we both like spicy food so keep that in mind if you order from here.
The food was ready in 15 min and nice and hot when we arrived for pickup. The folks insider were friendly as well.
Overall I definitely recommend a visit!

The inside needed some attention. The exterior of restuarant was not cleaned up. Or inviting. Simply Thai needs a lot of help.

A dissapointing experience if you expect Thai food. Their flavors are imbalanced in an amateurish way.

The tom yum soup was very sweet and not sour; it tastes like they forgot the tamarind and made do with sugar.

The pineapple fried rice was soaking wet; largely flavorless and mushy; it tasted steamed when I fully expected fried rice: rasins and tomato where an odd choice to add as well.

The pad see eaw was the best of the dishes but still lacking. I love garlic, but I didn't order garlic noodles soaked in oyster sauce; regular broccoli was used; the mushrooms were raw.

The fried tofu was breaded where it should've been battered and the sauce was excessively sweet.

The clientele lacked asian customers in addition.

I would only recommend if real Thai food scared you.

I cannot recommend Simply Thai enough. I have been going for years and it's always wonderful. They kindly altered my dish with no extra fee. The waitress is kind, the art and atmosphere while dining in is great, and the food is always awesome.

They had amazing food, I will definitely come again. The two people working there at the time were very nice and had great personalities and were quick to take care of us. The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy. If you are looking for a quick place to get food this is the place.

Food is exceptional here with flavors galore. Crispy calamari app is a must. Lunch specials are generous and delicious!

Horrible Food & Service! Food Smelt like wet dog food

Horrible! My niece and I stopped here for dinner after a long drive and both ordered Pad Thai. Not only was the waitress rude with explaining to me the difference of the different types of noodles, but when we received our food and it smelt like literal CAT LITTER! (No, this is not a racist comment, it honestly smelt like that). I refused to even take a bite, but when my niece did, she said it tasted as bad as it smelt. We had gotten an emergency phone call to leave after that. I asked to just pay for the drinks since we didn’t even touch the food and the waitress came back took my cash and charged me for the entire bill without even telling me she was!! I honestly should have walked out without paying for anything! Disgusting FOOD & SERVICE! I will be requesting a refund today and will write another review on how that goes.

We have got take out from here a couple of times over the last few weeks. The food has been excellent each time, very tasty and freshly prepared. We asked for the dishes to be made vegetarian with no fish sauce, and they handled that without any issues at all. Highly recommended.

Got takeout . First time. Fresh spring rolls and shrimp rolls were ok. Drunkin noodles were ordered mild. They came bland and stuck together in a clump. Rather dry, no sauce.

Twice I dined here on one short vacation as I was impressed! Before placing our groups' orders, the servers on each occasion asked whether anyone was vegan. Right here! They took special care to make sure my ethical lifestyle was respected and pointed out group appetizers others were considering that had dairy products in them. The menu also clearly labeled vegan options (Restaurants: take note! This is why we chose to try this establishment in the first place.) The atmosphere was peaceful and well-decorated with colors and designs that had me feeling like I was getting a true dining experience. The service was great and the food hit the spot.

AMAZING food, I was so hungry, 5 hours into a drive, and on the verge of tears. I stumbled into this beautiful building and was blessed with the juiciest food. The crispy chicken pad Thai and pad see ew were bomb, and the mango stick rice made me cry away all my sorrows. Hi, so just ordered Pho and Mango Rice from the restaurant and found hair in both. Called and was able to receive a full refund, however, they did not seem apologetic and I overheard them discussing placing a note on my account if it happens again. It’s one thing to not apologize, but it’s another to be made to believe that I am lying. Please see the photos below as evidence. Neither my girlfriend nor I have black hair, so it was most definitely not from us.

Great food, savory and balanced flavor. The beef laab was excellent, the sauce was just right. The Sriracha noodles came flaming hot, generous portions of chicken and wide rice noodles, spicy but still edible. The yellow chicken curry was excellent as well, rich creamy sauce. Very friendly attentive staff. Nice decor.
Pro tip: try the specials, they are unique dishes from the chef at a good price.

Avoid at all cost. After 10 minutes of waiting to be seated, we walked out. Servers kept walking around filling other customers waters while ignoring us the whole time.

I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant yet which why I gave this 4 stars, but the food we picked up was definitely worth 5 stars. I had never ordered from here before, so we bought a variety of dishes a to try and they were all as good as the rest.

It's a beautiful restaurant with booths. The music loud, very dull and Asian. It took a while before I got noticed to be seated. I walked into the kitchen to find someone. The service from the waitress was the top thing that would bring me back. The crab rangoons and shrimp dumplings were cooked excellent. I enjoyed the Thai ice tea. It's worth a visit. Bon appetite.

Been going here for years. The food is always fresh and delicious. You can always customize how spicy you like your dishes. Lastly, wonderful customer service!

Slow service even during lunch and there was hardly anybody in there. Food was mediocre. Noodles were overcooked and mushy. Didn't like the iced tea there at all. I had the drunken noodle and the noodles were mushy and kind of all stuck together. Salad was good and I like the dressing.

Very mediocre overall however, the most bizarre thing was in the men's restroom there was no door on the stall and the outter door didn't lock. I couldn't wait and had to take the chance! 🤣

Found this hidden gem through a friend. Whenever I’m at the Hartford County area, I make sure I stop by for take out. The basil chicken and Tom yum soup are to die for. Delicious food&Great service!

This has long been my favorite Thai place in this area, I get takeout from here all the time.

They offer a wide variety of dishes (I usually stick to the incredible massaman curry, it’s my favorite), and everything they offer is great.

They allow you to customize how spicy you want your food, using a 1 to 5 star scale, so you can either order it how it comes, or indicate how spicy you want it (they call the 5 star heat level “Thai Hot” which is just objectively adorable). I love mine extra extra spicy, so Thai hot never disappoints!

They also offer a wonderful dine in experience, with incredibly friendly employees. Personally, I usually get takeout, and the food is just as fresh and delicious as it would be dining in. Definitely worth checking out!

We went there for the first time and it was good. The place was relaxing and the waitress was friendly and attentive. We got the vegetable spring rolls which were delicious. We also got sweet chili Chicken fried rice and the spicy eggplant dish, however, while they tasted good, both dishes had an excessive amount of oil. Not a deal breaker, though, but we probably wouldn’t order those particular ones again. Overall good experience.

We've dined here about 3 times now. We typically get the dinner portion of green curry. My husband likes the all veggie version, and I usually get the shrimp. Ate here today, and I was so happy and surprised at the quality and amount of good, large, tasty, fresh shrimp. The flavors of the curry are so much lighter, more delicate, and far less salty than other area Thai restaurants. Lots of veggies, really delicious.

The food is good but their take-out takes forever, at least twice as long as when we come in and sit down to eat. Twice in a row I've been left standing there an hour after a phone order was placed waiting for the food to come out of the kitchen when the restaurant was nearly empty. Probably not gonna go with their take out anymore.

Excellent food. Prompt courteous service. Better Covid-19 protocol. Instead of 6 feet between tables, they are 12 feet to 15 feet between usable dining room tables. Menus are laminated and sanitized, staff is 100% masked at all times. Had calamari appetizer and honey duck main course. Really enjoyed the meal.

Excellent! Just discovered this little gem. Good Thai, reasonable prices and good portions. Picked it up and it was hot (temperature wise), fresh and seasoned well. I had the Kua Gai Noodle w/pork - very good. My wife had the Pad Thai w/tofu. The little touches of lime and cashew pieces. Go, go, go! I wouldn't want this place to disappear just because of lack of support.

I''m very picky with restaurants because I cleaned drains in the area for 15 years. If you've seen what I've seen you'd never eat most local Asian food again. This place is one of the exceptions. Kitchen and bathrooms are clean - if a place has a disgusting bathroom, that's a good indication of the condition of the kitchen. That being said, we've been enjoying their food for years--before they opened we drove to Wethersfield for good Thai food from a clean kitchen. Check out the kitchens of the other Thai places mentioned in these reviews and you'll only eat here too. We usually get the chicken pad thai and the pad kua gai, but the curries, chicken ginger soup, and sweet chili fish are also favorites. The pho is good too - much better than the Vietnamese place across the street, Family and staff here are always pleasant and service has always been good when we aren't doing takeout.

Amazing place. They give you the option to choose spice level 1-5, 5 is way high even for an Asian. My advice if you like spicy- stick to 3-4 spice level. Their dishes are super tasty, even the vegetarian ones.

Worst satay chicken ever, avoid. Fresh spring rolls is basically tasteless lettuce, avoid. Good tom yum soup, few shrimp, but ok taste.
Had yellow curry chicken, Penang curry and shrimp drunken noodles as entrees. All dishes were disappointing. Drunken noodles is mushy and sad. Yellow curry was so bland. Penang curry was good and the most flavorful.

Would rate as 2 stars, but with covid situation, restaurants need a break.
