Love this place. I went to this place with my brother and my friend. Plenty of thai food options to pick. Also they have papaya salad with fermented fish sauce which rarely find in Thai restaurants. Don’t forget to try their coconut ice cream because it serves with sweet stick rice and peanuts, so tasty. Friendly staff and great service.

This place is incredible! The food is excellent. We have got takeout several times and have never been disappointed. I love that along with the regular Thai dishes they also have specials that they execute excellently. They also don't compromise on ingredient quality. We are customers for life!

This place is SO good. Even on a take out order. The spring rolls are so fresh and PACKED! The pad Thai is delicious and I love that I can adjust the spice level on the online order menu. Cannot wait to go back!

Barn Thai is my go to for Thái food. Their Pad Woosen and Pad Thai are both excellent. I most highly recommend them.

We've gotten food here before and it was fine but tonight we got the same thing and it was so bad! The tofu was sour! Like disgustingly sour which means it's spoiled!! For the price they charge they should not be using expired ingredients! The tofu was disgusting and I feel nauseous and my stomach is so freaking upset after just eating a few pieces of the tofu! Never getting food from here again!

We took a take out. First time really loved the food. This time the vegetable red tofu curry was not good. Tofu had a funny shape and texture too.

It was my first experience trying mango sticky rice it's was one of the best deserts I've had in a long while. Would definitely get more of it. Wasn't able to Dine in they we closing which was a bummer but the desert was top notch.

This place is the BEST Thai food we ever had. The owner Jimmy waited on us & was so kind & helpful with helping to discuss ingredients for dietary restrictions & making suggestions. The first time we did take-out & second time dine in...Both great experiences 👏 I highly recommend this gem. It isn't great visibility from street so let's make an effort to patronize this place so they can thrive!

I’m in Shelton for a week for work and saw this resturant was highly rated and it did not disappoint. I ordered three things, the cashew nut with chicken, shrimp and chicken shumai and mango sticky rice. The main meals were tasty and full of flavour but the winner is the mango sticky rice. Honestly this is one of the best desserts I have ever tasted, it’s on my top 10 list of desserts. I am blown away by the flavour, it’s a mixture of creamy sweet goodness and the mangoes are so fresh and perfect. I’m trying to think of ways to bring it back with me to London without it spoiling because it was that good. For now it’s sitting in my fridge waiting for me to eat it 🤣. I will definitely be back!!

The food and service were excellent at Barn Tai. We had Pad Si-iw with shrimp and yellow curry with chicken. Both dishes were fresh with a perfect combination of flavors. They were so delicious that I kept thinking I wanted some more the next day! Regarding the atmosphere, lovely jazz music played in the background, and patrons could bring their wine. The wait staff was amiable and attentive. It was a delightful dining experience, and we will be back.

First time at Barn Thai tonight, and very impressed. The food was fantastic! I had the Choo Chee Duck as an entree and just about licked the plate clean. My wife enjoyed the Pad Si-iw (I of course stole some) and it was incredible, and my mother in law had the Thai Fried Rice with scallops, (we all tried some because the portion was huge) and was very impressed. The apps were great and the staff was top tier. Highly recommended!

Customer service is not great. I ordered food but I was never mentioned about lunch special and when I found it on the menu, I was asked to try next time instead of honoring it

Barn Thai has become my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The specials are very good; the Choo Chee Duck and Green Seared Scallop from here are my go-to dishes. I've ordered from here multiple times and the food has been great and consistent each time. I suggest giving this place a try if you haven't yet!

Fabulous! Terrific food and service. We have eaten there and gotten take away. Both times the food was fab and fresh. We’ve tried the Tom Kha soup, green curry, larb gai, spring rolls and mango sticky rice. All were the best we’ve had at any Thai food restaurant in CT. Please go and patronize this new, small business on River Road, you’ll be happy you did.

Basil Fried Rice and dumplings lunch special was absolutely delicious. Extremely flavorful and not stingy with the shrimp at all. I also got Pad Ki-Mao and it was also extremely delicious. Along with a Thai ice tea and mango sticky rice for sweets. You can’t get any better than this. I’ve been to Thailand, Thai restaurants in the area and other towns, and I’m so happy this is high quality Thai spot is so close to me!
