It’s a unique flavor with a broth that I would drink by itself it’s so good - my preferred way to enjoy it is to loop the noodles into a spoon, filling the crevices with a rich, flavorful broth and plopping a piece of beef or sausage to top it off. The ensuing bite is a heavenly moment that honestly reminds me why life is worth living. The other dishes also look delicious :) 10/10 highly recommend

We ordered the Larb salad and it was so good I could of had two. Then we ordered drunken noodles in two different spice levels and both we extraordinary. I ordered mine Thai hot and it actually came close, which is refreshing and I was happy especially after eating my left over later in the night. The mild was perfect for my partner, who was very unhappy after insisting on trying mine. The ability for BYOB made a meal anywhere else a fraction of the price and I would recomend this to anyone looking for the real deal authentic Thai cuisine. I will be back next time I vist the area. The sevice was great and they took time to talk. What a wonderful experiance.

Wow! Our takeout was delicious. Boat noodles, drunken noodles, Shumai and veggie dumplings. We will be back very soon! And next time I’m trying a dessert!

This place is amazing and the food is 10/10

This was my first visit and we ordered take out. We ordered pad thai and 2 different curries - seafood and chicken. Thai salad and coconut soup. All of the dishes were very mediocre. The soup lacked vegetables and was thin. The curries were watery, the chicken was tough in the red curry and the seafood green curry had lots of imitation crab that just fell apart. All dishes tasted overcooked. While this restaurant in Bridgeport is closer to my home, I'll drive a few more miles for better food in nearby Fairfield. Note that they close midday between lunch and dinner so check their hours if you plan to go there.

I’ve been going to this place for a few years, but I just feel like I needed to leave a review because it really is that great. The staff is always so friendly and very Attentive when you dine in! The food is top quality, and I’ve been to my fair share of Thai restaurants and Generally, none of them are as good as ruuthai in my opinion. Anything you order off the menu is always gonna taste good and their Thai tea Is the best. I Highly recommend the fried wontons, spring rolls, drunken noodles, and spicy basil fried rice.

the food was amazing and spice level perfectly on point (my wife is thai and she agrees)..2 stars because there was a small pebble in my boat noodles..after researching it appears cilantro is the probable culprit because it comes in bunches and small pebbles are commonly retained in the roots…either way this restaurant’s cleaning process is highly suspect and it’s such a shame because the food is so legit

Food was VERY tasty. And large portioned mains. However, one dish, ordered spicy, was extra spicy—nearly too hot to enjoy— (I’ve ordered both in the past); one food item was left out; and no napkins or forks were included, despite being requested.

Delivery (Door Dash) was 20 min late and insisted he was “here” when he was a block away—I had to direct him to the address.

Will definitely order again because food is so tasty. But this experience was disappointingly lacking.

They catered our wedding. People told us it was the best food they'd ever had. We had mango sticky rice cups shaped like roses, different options to accommodate different dietary restrictions (they separated meat from pad thai so vegan/vegetarian people could enjoy), amazing thai iced tea. Leftovers for days, enough to provide a feast for all the staff at our venue. Would give 100 stars if possible.

I ordered yesterday and today, had to write a review for this restaurant. MY background is Laos and Thai and I will say this is the only restaurant that makes their spicness to my liking because I love spice! Yesterday I ordered chicken pad thai and ask them to make it extra spicy and wow, the spice level was just right! Today I put in a special request for Som Tum ( Papaya Salad) but make it Laos Esan style and they executed it exactly the way I make it at home! Also ordered chicken wings, wonton soup, and the siam roti! ALL GOOOOOD, full of flavor, finally found a lunch place when I'm craving foods from my home and background!!! DEFINATELY ORDERING HERE AGAIN :)

This is one of the best Thai meals I've ever had (and I've had A LOT). We ate every drop of everything, it was almost embarrassing. Everyone was delightful, the restaurant itself is small but cute and cozy, and best of all it was inexpensive. Amazing home-cooked quality!

And really wanted something filling but different great portion size i can go on and on this will not be the last time I come here I would love to try everything on the menu I got the pad pong ka-ree sautéed choice of meat, egg, and mixed vegetables with yellow curry powder. served with jasmine rice. My husband was raving about these "Drunken Noodles" he had for lunch on Friday from Ruuthai's Kitchen in Bridgeport. He made it sound so good, that I tried Thai food for the very first time. We ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and their Summer Rolls. OMG I regret getting only one drunken noodles. It was so good. Their online oredering system is very user friendly. They send you a text to inform you when your order is being prepared and when it will be ready. The staff was so nice, we got it super fast. The outside may look deceiving ( I almost didn't order because the outside it looks old) but the inside is very nice. I'm looking forward to trying something else there. Oh, and the price was just right. Big portions and the rolls were very big, not like your typical roll size. Yum yum. Give it a try. You won't regret it👍

This was my favorite place when I lived in Bridgeport. I've relocated, and can't find a Thai restaurant that even comes close to the quality and selection of RuuThai. I miss this restaurant, but visit as soon as I can!!!

Ruuthai is by far the best Thai I’ve had in Fairfield County. The price value is also excellent. The food and service I’ve had here is definitely on par with Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in New York City. I’ve ordered several times during the pandemic and their takeout is just the thing to get us through these tough times. My absolute favorites are the drunken noodles and the panang curry! If you’re vegetarian, their tofu is so nicely fried and prepared. At other Thai restaurants the tofu can be very bland- seems like they just dumped it out of the packaging. Certainly not the case here! I always look forward to eating at Ruuthai! Support local businesses.❣️

Ruuthai has an amazingly prepared tofu panang. The spice is rich, the curry is red and beautiful. The atmosphere is quiet and the service prompt without being pushy. I’ve enjoyed my lunch here.

There are a lot of green beans in the panang. Being not the biggest fan of green beans, I was worried they may be detracting. However, even the loathsome beans weren’t detrimental, as they were bright, fresh, and crisp.

This place survives based on reputable endorsements from its patrons. When speaking of the off-beaten or “hidden” restaurants that are worthy of a visit while in the area; this hits the mark. Most food is made to order and not prepared in advance (reheated) so it may take some time for your meal to arrive. However, blessed are those who have patience. The food is flavorful and the service is friendly.

I have been on a green curry and tofu kick for the last month. I also travel a lot, and this is one of my top spots now when I am in Bridgeport. I highly recommend to my thai food fan friends!

I never have any good experience when I go out of town. But this restaurant is very good. The food is very delicious and I love it. We all eat all of the food on the plate and there no leftover. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

One big plus is the portion size, when ordering dinner, the drunken noodles can definitely be split into two servings. I think lunch is a little bit smaller, but it comes with a starter. This is good, since there are a handful of Thai restaurants in this area, and this is a good reason to go to Ruuthai's instead.

Always arrives faster than expected with delivery. The people who deliver are always very friendly and kind. The food is outstanding. It’s one of those places where I’ve gotten the same thing EVERY time because it’s SO GOOD. Their drunken noodles have a nice kick even when ordered mild. Ordered medium for heat the first time and my mouth was on fire, but it was still super delicious. Definitely have to try their drunken noodles and curry chicken puffs. The curry chicken puffs are life changing.

Possibly the best Pad Thai I've ever had except in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The people who work here are incredibly kind and friendly, and the food was just as good when delivered as it was in-house. This is literally the worst Thai I’ve ever had. I ordered the pad Thai with mixed seafood, none of the Seafood was fresh the squid was hard and tasted recooked. The shrimp didn’t taste fresh, and the noodles were stuck together and old, and had a sour taste. Even the clams were brown and old. Definitely disappointed, I will not Be ordering from there again. The food is not good authentic Thai food at all and the place looks like a corner store.

OMG! My wife introduced me to Thai food 6 years ago in Baltimore and ever since I've been on the hunt for drunken noodles that were on par. The day has come! Best Thai food I've had outside of Thai Arroy in Baltimore. I'll definitely be back.
