This is a great spot for fresh sushi and delicious Thai food! The interior is super nice and clean, and the service was nice. The Thai dishes, pad Thai and the panang curry were both flavorful and good, and the sashimi and nigiri were super delicious. This is a wonderful place to try in Johns Creek!

I stopped by the restaurant to place a take out sushi order. It was Friday evening and the restaurant was busy. I was told my order will take 40-45 minutes. I agreed. One hour later when I came to pick up my order, it wasn’t ready! I was told that I need to wait another 15 minutes. “We were busy, sorry” - I was told. I even left tips, which I shouldn’t do! It’s not the service that anyone can expect! While I was waiting for extra 30 minutes, the manager came and offered me a discount for next time. No need to, I’m not gonna come back.
Finally, after one hour and 26 minutes I got my order! They returned my tips and gave me $4 discount, such a generous discount from the total of $100. As a summary, sushi was good but service is bad.

We have been searching for months for a good Thai restaurant, both to dine in and carry out. We found it and so convenient to our house!!! Curry and Noodle Bowl were excellent! Great deep flavor on the Massaman Curry. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem in Alpharetta!! Went for lunch with a couple of friends after the gym and had an amazing lunch. We shared a few appetizers, my favorites were the shrimp papaya salad so fresh and the sauce was very flavorful. Also the fried calamari was another favorite appetizer because it was lightly battered. We shared a couple sushi roll and I loved the samurai and bangkok roll the most. We also had the pad see ew, and I have to say the flat noodles are very soft and authentic like the ones you find in Thailand. The staff were all so polite and friendly, I know we will definitely be coming back for more!

The food is out of this world! We are so lucky to get to enjoy a restaurant of this caliber. We had both the short rib masaman Curry and the Johns Creek Roll, the TNT roll, and the Bangkok Roll.

The gentleman who work here are as nice as they can possibly be. They are super attentive without being intrusive friendly and remembered us from the last time we were here. Our waiter Joe is fantastic always remembers our order and our drink. He even remembered that the serrano peppers were too hot for me. The owner of the restaurant came over and talked with us. This is just the way it should be. I can't recommend this place any higher and my wife loves it too.

Very clean and well managed store. Ambient is pleasant. The waiters are very friendly and they will accommodate if you need to adjust ingredients based on your desire. The service is fast and prices are fair for what it is.

Visiting from Los Angeles is one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse cities in the world for food, beside New York. The Thai food was very authentic, and the sushi was very fresh.

My wife and I love Sushi and Thai food. This place has both. Because of the great reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. It certainly lives up to the reviews. The sushi is wonderful. Both the crab Rangoon and miso soup are the best I’ve ever had; I don’t say that lightly. I requested the crispy duck in a panang curry And it was superb! After eating here multiple times, I feel that I can safely and highly recommend Fin Sushi and Thai. It is now our go to restaurant for both these types of food and we have eaten at most, but not all sushi and Thai restaurants in the Alpharetta /JohnsCreek area.

Excellent Sushi and great ambience.

Seated right away. Nice layout and decor. I started off with a salad and water. Was good for a Thai/ Sushi restaurant as they used actual greens and not just iceberg lettuce. So one up for them. For my main I got the chicken red curry. Arrived quickly. I got a little worried after I ordered because I was not asked about spice and there were no condiments on the table. I like spice so was worried about getting some bland food. Far from reality. It was perfectly spiced for me but they should be careful as some might not like it as spicy. Otherwise man it was good! Rich creamy coconut milk plenty of shoots and veg. The chef here knows how to make curry! It reminded me of the hole in the wall place I used to go, far far away, that served the best curry I have ever had, owners were Thai of course.
So all in all a great food experience. I can’t comment, yet, on the rest of the menu. A little price shocked at first glance of the menu but taste quality is there with the curry. I will return whenever hankering for it. If you have the same desire try it here first you will be treated. Thanks FIN! Sorry no photos, overcome by smell and hunger.

Food was OK, (for 4 people, 2 adult + 2 kids, we paid $120) but nothing special. We tried everything - padthai, sushi and ramen. Nothing stands out. Atmosphere is also so-so. However the service was good. All in all, it’s an average place, very average food, with high price tag. Finally, it’s your choice, if you want to give it a try.

My favorite Thai restaurant in all of Atlanta. Staff is friendly. The curry is like butter, it is so delicious. Red Curry has a great kick, but still has built a wonderful flavor profile. The vegetables in the curry are fresh and crisp. The ginger dressing on the salad is also top notch. Very much a fan!

I was so pleasantly surprised with the design and decor as I entered the restaurant. A host greeted me immediately and I was seated in a comfortable booth .
The food was delicious, and cooked to perfection. I had an umami moment while eating the sashimi, ended having multiple dishes which all were delicious.

What an incredible meal, from start to finish. MJ makes incredible cocktails to go along with the amazing food. Highly recommend the spicy tuna on crispy rice, the homemade chicken and shrimp dumplings, pad Thai, and the short rib massaman curry. Can’t wait to go back and try even more items from the extensive menu!

I’m so happy we came here for our anniversary dinner. Great service and food. We didn’t announce it was a special dinner celebration but they still made us feel extra special. My daughter was given a beautiful key chain and they gifted us a yummy dessert at the end. The sushi and drinks were soooo good! Will come back again.

What an incredible experience!! Started off trying different cocktails and MJ, the bartender, was so great that we decided to dine at the bar. MJ recommended all our dishes and they were all winners. My favorites were the spicy tuna on crispy rice and the homemade jumbo shrimp & chicken dumplings, the others were close though. Can’t wait to go back!!

I met up with a friend here for dinner, wanting to try a new sushi place, and we both loved it! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was wonderfully attentive. We enjoyed sashimi, sushi, drinks, and a few hours of talking in this lovely restaurant. It wasn't busy at all, and the server even brought us out a free dessert. I'd absolutely recommend FIN and will come back!!

This is a hidden gem in Johns Creek! We first tried Fin during the holidays with our family and then again last night with friends. The food is AMAZING! The sushi rolls were so tasty...favorites being the Fin, geisha, and Bankok. The coconut soup was delicious as was the Green Curry and Pad Thai. Definitely try the spicy edamame! Service is wonderful (thanks MJ!) Great recommendations...from start to end, very friendly and prompt with all our needs. Bea, the owner is a doll! Loved chatting with her and learning how/why she came to Johns Creek! If you love Thai food, you will not be disappointed! One of the BEST!

A tasteful new sushi addition to the Johns Creek area! I went to Fin this evening for some happy hour sushi and it was great. $4 for a pint of Sapporo and $6 for one of a handful of sushi rolls. I enjoyed the salmon, but the Hamachi was even better. I look forward to returning and trying the Thai fare.

Sushi roll and sashimi was fresh and flavorful. Maybe the slices of fish on the rainbow roll were a bit skimpy, but still delicious. The short rib Massaman was outstanding.

Like others mention, it is on the pricey side for some of the signature/recommended dishes. But you can find some reasonable priced items still. for the prices I dropped the food rating by 1 star. Looked like they also have decent lunch and HH specials.

Hidden Gem! Excellent sushi and kitchen menu with very friendly staff. Sushi was highest quality and portion size was on point with reasonable prices. They also offered some unique items. Haven't tried the Thai menu, but chicken teriyaki was outstanding. Please support one of my new local favorites!

I got take out, and I thought it was really great! I didn’t spend much time inside the restaurant so I can’t say much, but I did really like it inside, thought it was beautiful and clean, it was quite busy, about half full. I got 2 spring rolls, wonton soup, and the yummy yummy roll with NO tuna. They were very accommodating because I don’t like tuna. It was very tasty, but I wasn’t a fan of the wonton soup. I think it’s because I’m not a bok choy fan & theirs has bok choy in it. Everything was packaged great, and it was ready for me when I got there. They also honored my coupon for two free spring rolls. The guy who took my call & processed my order was very nice! It is a bit pricier than most places, and the sushi was also pricier than I expected, but still yummy. Would definitely go again!

I tried fin, sushi, and Thai in Johns Creek Georgia, which may be a new restaurant because I couldn’t find it in Tripadvisor. I got takeout for lunch and tried the spring rolls the samurai roll and the ocean roll. Spring rolls were good a little soft inside, but tasty. The samurai roll says it was softshell, crab cucumber, topped with barbecue eel, avocado, and eel sauce, and it had all of those, but there was also some tough vegetable on the inside. They completely overpowered the flavor of the roll and was chewy and why I have to lower the review by one star. The ocean roll was excellent very fresh. When I place the order, they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in about 10 minutes from placing the order and had to wait inside proximately 10 more minutes , but they were friendly. There is only a small group eating inside and plenty of room for other guests. I did notice their food service score was 100 which is always good news. I will certainly try other items on their menu.

I don’t write many reviews or say it lightly but this place is a hidden gem for us. From the quality of the food to the attentiveness of the staff - this is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the area.

Having been to Japan and trying sushi around the world - I can say that this place has QUALITY nigiri. Appetizers are amazing as well.

And what makes this place more special is the owner and staff. They make you feel like family and treat you as such.

I just had dinner here with my husband and toddler and it was awesome! We ordered a variety of sushi from their happy hour menu and gyoza which were all great. I worried they would be smaller or not as high quality being on a happy hour menu but everything was so fresh and delicious. Really impressed. Lastly, we ordered the crispy duck pad Thai and it was INCREDIBLE. This is definitely going to be a regular place for us. Sad I didn’t take pictures because the presentation was beautiful too. Definitely recommend!!!

This is easily the best restaurant that I've visited in Alpharetta. From the second you enter, you can tell that every detail has been taken into account to make your visit to Fin a special one.

The furnishings and decoration in the restaurant are absolutely beautiful, and really set a pleasant tone combined with the music choice to match the rest of the dining experience.

I can't speak highly enough of the wait staff. They were each incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and its various items, and were highly attentive to my table. I came in as a treat for my birthday with a group of my friends, and our waiter as well as the sushi chef were able to find a multitude of amazing dishes for each of us to try.

Speaking of the food... it is unparalleled. The sushi is possibly the most fresh and pure tasting sushi I have ever had. Great care was clearly taken in the construction of each roll and appetizer that we ordered, and it was almost like we couldn't go wrong. My group tried a LOT of dishes, and it almost seemed like each dish we tried kept getting better than the last. The Thai side of the menu was equally good, with everything being very rich in flavor and smell. The plating of each dish was impressive too, and you can tell that the owners and chefs worked together to make everything not just look presentable, but instead went for exceptional.

Sidenote: The drink menu is just as good as the food! ;)
