"Authentic Thai food. Yum! From Bangkok to you!"
I ordered the green curry, Panang curry, and stir-fried noodles. The curries came in generous portions with a good amount of meat, served alongside rice. While the taste was decent, it wasn't exceptional compared to other Thai places nearby.
The stir-fried noodles, however, stood out with a well-balanced flavor. I appreciated that the chef didn't simply load the dishes with chili for spiciness. Instead, chili was thoughtfully provided on the side, allowing us to adjust the heat to our preference.
The ambiance was pleasant, and since it was a quiet weekday afternoon, we were the only customers. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was neat and clean.
Overall, a solid 3.5-star experience—good food, great service, but nothing extraordinary on the flavor front.
Tried this place on our way home from Estes Park. This resturant is in a great location. The food was really wonderful. The pad thai needed more salt, but over all yummy. The Tom Khah Soup was perfect! The egg roll, crab Rangoon, and gyoza were also yummy. Service was great also. Will definitely be back.
I never review anything, and I hate giving a bad review but I feel like I have an obligation in this case. Ate about half an order of chicken pad thai before realizing something was off, checked the chicken to see it is extremely undercooked and raw in the center.
Nothing to do now but cross my fingers and hope I don’t get
sick.
Holy smokes this place is AMAZING. Our drunken noodles were flavored to perfection. And the peanut sauce is to die for!!! My husband actually drove back to get another order of drunken noodles and more peanut sauce lol the woman working was also the one cooking and she was so kind and friendly. Definitely do not miss out on eating here!
We went there for a quick lunch today not knowing that its management was changed two months ago. We ordered a couple of dishes from the lunch menu. From the first bite of the lunch egg roll with dipping sauce, we were talking that the dipping sauce might be a homemade because it wasn't a typical sweat, red sauce. It had a flavor in it. The main dishes were very tasty as well. Personally I don't prefer those sweetened dishes, but those dishes were just right, nothing too sweet or too salty. The chef's sense for great food was right-on. This is now our favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood.
I've eaten at nearly every Thai place in a 30 mile radius, and this one is my personal favorite although they've just opened. The food is perfect. Authentic well balanced spice. Fast accurate service in larger groups. Take out is well done, in nice containers. The interior is spotless. The spice comes from Thai Chilies (birds eye) and they seem to use galangal not ginger, which makes all the difference. The wok dishes are 10/10.
I cannot recommend this place strongly enough, and I'm excited to try each and every one of their dishes because the sampling I've had so far is excellent.
The only criticism I have is the atmosphere inside needs to be developed, it is clear they put all of their effort into the dishes. It is clean inside to the point of austere, and the TV isn't helping the atmosphere. I'm sure they'll improve it as they settle in.
My new favorite Thai restaurant! The meals were fresh & well spiced -- very flavor-full but not overly hot/spicy. Loved the chicken satay especially! & The owner was gracious and hospitable. Very kind, especially toward my child. Definite repeat!
We stopped over at Kapow Thai as it had great reviews and we’ve been trying to find some new spots. Overall I wasn’t very impressed. First, the wontons were literally empty lol. There was maybe half a teaspoon of crab/cream cheese PER wonton. So it was off to quite a rough start as we love wontons. The red curry was ok. I loved the amount of vegetables that were in the dish but the flavor was nothing to write home about. The pad see ewe was also decent. It didn’t have immaculate flavor but it was fine. I’m hoping sitting down the dining experience is much better but I definitely wouldn’t order takeout again.
Great Thai food, the service was wonderful. Will definitely be back!
It is wonderful here, don’t miss this spot!!
Just tried the food here, really great, fresh Thai food. Have to come back and check out more items.

I dropped in and grabbed food to go. Papaya salad was authenticly delicious. Green curry chicken hit the spot. Highly recommend this place
Since new management this place is our go to for authentic Thai. Totally reborn and as good as anything in the area. Definitely need to try it. The food is outstanding

I’ve gotten delivery from here multiple times and each time is amazing! Every dish I’ve had has phenomenal flavor, comes hot, fast and well packed. Serving sizes are middle of the road, not huge or small. I can’t wait to check them out at the restaurant sometime!
I never review anything, and I hate giving a bad review but I feel like I have an obligation in this case. Ate about half an order of chicken pad thai before realizing something was off, checked the chicken to see it is extremely undercooked and raw in the center.

This is my new favorite Thai place! I keep trying new dishes because everything has been so fresh and flavorful.
Order out here for the first time. Food was first rate, and I try to eat low sodium, and I could not detect much of a level of sodium, yet the food was delicious.
No one in the entire restaurant on a Friday night at 6:30, not a good sign. Came in and sat down and immediately noticed a detergent/cleaner smell. Not pleasant. Waiter was very nice and brought out waters and menus, and when he left we noticed a fart/poop smell. No idea where it was coming from. We put a $5 bill on the table and walked out. Yikes.
This was our first time coming here since the new management. While it was still just as delicious and they have way more options on the menu. BUT, it wasn't even half the food that Kapow served, the portion was tiny. I have never from any Thai, Chinese etc. finished the box of rice and my entree. I always have leftovers. This was not the case here, both me and my wife finished it all and we're still hungry. Also got the crab cheese wontons, finished those as well. I will say, it was delicious, the wontons were great, the sauce they served was amazing and certainly homemade. I had the Orange Sesame Chicken. It was really good however with a name like that I would have expected to be fried, it was grilled. Which grilled chicken isn't exactly my thing, albeit it being healthier. My wife got the Panang Curry with beef it was also delicious. But, again for 50$ I want leftovers Any other Oriental place you go in town here for 50$, you get a large portion. If we hadn't been to Kapow previously, maybe I would feel differently. idk...
Tan was wonderful to talk to and the food was amazing!! We’ll be back!
The food here is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. The flavors are bursting, and if you’re a fan of spicy food, they can make it extra spicy to your liking. The owner, Tan, was incredibly friendly and nice to chat with!
Food was amazing! So fresh, and everything was homemade. Highly, highly recommend!
My husband and I ordered takeout. The service was incredibly fast, and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!
Absolutely loved the pad thai and Peanut curry on a snowy day. Delicious!! The owner was so sweet too
Tried Bangkok Thai for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint! Their Hot is legit hot. If you are looking for spicy and delicious food, look no further. We will be back!
Delicious food, fast service, and calm, quiet atmosphere. A hidden jewel in Lafayette.
My new favorite Thai restaurant! The meals were fresh & well spiced -- very flavor-full but not overly hot/spicy. Loved the chicken satay especially! & The owner was gracious and hospitable. Very kind, especially toward my child. Definite repeat!
Delicious food and very friendly staff! We came in during lunch and got soup, an egg roll, and the entree. Highly recommend!
Wow this is probably the BEST Thai food I have ever had. Highly recommended!!!
Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had!
Amazing, authentic Thai food!

Miss Tan was awesome and the food was wonderful! Very pleased with this experience. My kids were stuffed! We will return soon.
Organic fresh food!
Love the pineapple fried rice
Best mango sticky rice I’ve had in the US! The owner is delightful, the food is delicious, I can’t wait to order again.
The menu was expanded quite a bit and Kapow Thai is becoming our fav go-to place. Woon sen dishes are especially good. Few people know about this establishment yet,
so right now traffic is quite light, which means service is very fast. I highly recommend this place. The dishes we had are not listed among " what would you recommend" below. I am looking forward to trying all the dishes on the menu
The food was wonderful and reminded me of the style of Thai food near my old college. Definitely going back soon!
Got takeout last night and it was wonderful. Asked for medium and it was pretty hot but good.
We had a great dinner. The portions were excellent. We will definitely eat here again.
The food here is great. Recent new ownership from once was Kapow Thai. Still great food if you love Thai.
Authentic and delicious Thai food. We stumbled upon this gem. Will definitely return. Thanks!
Good food, super nice owner! Really great prices at lunch.
Food was yummy and the service was great! The owner was so friendly. Worth checking out.
Very delicious Thai food. With a very kind owner and chef . Great flavors.
Great papaya salad, got the mild and it still had some kick. Noodles and pad kapow were also tasty. Owner was very attentive and friendly.
Food was awesome !!!!
Good Thai food. Authentic!
Enjoyed a nice lunch with good curry and attentive service.
I happened to be in the area and stopped in for a meal. I had the KaPow pad Thai with beef and a seaweed salad. It was the first time I had a warm seaweed salad. I really enjoyed the seaweed and spices. The KaPow pad Thai was excellent. The medium spice was perfect, it totally woke up my taste buds. The vegetables were crisp and the noodles were just the right texture. The beef was spiced just right. The owner was very sweet. I'll definitely be back!
Food is homemade by Tan the new owner.
Tan is very attentive. Food was awesome.Definitely going back.
We ordered pad Thai, khao soi, and fried rice. The price increased, but the food is amazing. The meat is tender and not dried. The chili is definitely spicy, so I would be careful with the spice level.
The food and atmosphere is a lot better than the previous restaurant.
Amazing flavor and excellent service! Highly recommend!
So delicious! Panang Curry was awesome. Great service! Highly recommend!
Wonderfully gracious attentive service and very delicious authentic Thai cuisine. A new fave.
The drunken noodles were great and the owner is so nice. Be careful with spice! Mild + was perfect.
Really good food. We met the owner she was very nice.
One of the best Thai Restaurant in Lafayette! Great food, great service, clean and affordable! Love this place!
Tan is amazing!! the food is high quality and restaurant environment is clean and peaceful!!
Food was absolutely perfect and very cheap! One of the best panang curries I’ve ever tasted in my life (and I’ve actually spent time in Thailand). The woman that served us was also extremely nice and so much fun to chat with! She’ll teach you some words in Thai if you’re interested :)
This is the best Thai food I’ve had since I honeymooned in Thailand 31 years ago! The owner is lovely and so sweet and attentive, and everyone there is such a hard worker. I love to support them and I LOVE the food!
Very good food! New location. The charm will come.
Delicious food, friendly service.
Will be back.
Drunken noodles terrific as well as papaya salad:)
The food was excellent and authentic. We will definitely be back!
Best thia food in the area
Very authentic 👌
Fantastic food and friendly service. So happy to have this new restaurant in our neighborhood. Highly recommend the lunch special.
Great service and food was good.
What a hidden Jem. Thai basil was divine.
Very good price for very good food! Come and enjoy!!
Wonderful food and amazing service. Would definitely recommend.
Unfortunately, this was our worst Thai food experience.
1. We got served the order one person at a time for like 50 mins which ruined the experience.
2. The water smelled and tasted nasty.
3. The portion sizes were one of the smallest we have been served.
4. We should have taken the hint as there was just one other person apart from us in the whole restaurant.
I don't know why anyone would go here.
If I could leave no stars I would. Placed a take out order and came in at the time given they didn't even have our order made. There was no body in the restaurant, so it's not like they were busy by any means. They made our order and it was awful. Everything was bland and not even worth eating, portions were small compared to how much we paid for our food. We ended up throwing it away and getting food somewhere else. It was such a disappointment given how so many people rave about this place. Definitely do NOT recommend in any type of way.
I've gotten lunch here a few times, and have had a great experience each time! The staff are always so sweet and kind, and the food I've tried is spectacular!
It was hot when we entered. I mentioned it and the air conditioning was turned on. My sister ordered the stir fry with cashews and it was so so. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was tasteless and not enough sauce, not a very large portion and pricey, one to three dollars more than what I’m used to paying for the same dish elsewhere. The service was very good. I can’t recommend eating there because I was very disappointed.
Worst experience ever. We were the only customers but there was only one person doing everything and he took 50 minutes to bring the first order . Brought the order in instalments. Taste was horrible and very small portion. Even water had some strange taste. Will not come ever here. I like Thai food but food here didn’t taste anything closer.
service was extremely slow , we were the only customers but food took an hour. food was bland and dry. pad thai was horrible. will not be coming here again 🤞
This place doesn’t deserve to be open. For the second time in a month i’ve walked in, waited for 10 min to be helped while hearing the ladies chattering in the kitchen.
Fantastic and authentic Thai food. Best papaya salad I've had in North America!
Good taste and authentic Thai
Every dish we've tried here has been incredible! The Khao Soi, Pad Thai, and Curries all have incredible flavor and are very satisfying.
This is our new go-to spot - we're happy drive 20 minutes when we're in the mood for this cuisine. Check them out!
Great Thai food. Even my kids eat the tofu, edamame and satay. I love the drunken noodles and rice dishes. We usually only do take out so can’t speak to the service.
It's a friendly, casual little place with great curry. The khao soi is amazing.
Consistently delicious Thai food. I love it and supporting this small business. Please give it a try so we continue to have great local options in Lafayette.
Hopefully there'll be even more vegan options in the future too! 🌱
The food is excellent and authentic. Seriously, the best Thai food in the area. Other restaurants don't have the same depth of flavor or bring the heat when ordering Thai hot. The staff are incredibly nice and caring, which is rare to find these days. If I could afford to eat here everyday, I would have an amazing life. 10/10
Delicious food and friendly service. Not a long time to wait even though they were busy.
Went in. Waited. Waited. Waited. Left
I am Thai and the food i had was definitely not authentic. If you expect authentic, spicy, flavorful this is not your place. If you are not looking for real Thai then this would be fine. I ordered two apps and thai spicy salad which typically includes glass noodles as shown in the grubhub and doordash. The dish i got was not a spicy salad it was larb, no noodles were included and i had requested thai spicy with the instructions note in Thai to make it spicy! The dish was bland. Apart from that egg roll was good and they didn’t have fish cakes so they sub fried chicken which was just ok. Im not sure if the Thai chef that they advertised was not there but this is disappointing.
Good if you like the spicy stuff
Tasty Thai food here in Lafayette! Drunken noodles were very good
This is truly authentic Thai food and the chef is from Thailand. Every dish I have tried is amazing but my favs are Pumpkin Thai curry with tofu, pad Thai with tofu and panang curry! Just absolutely delicious food. I would recommend this over other nearby Thai places. I also love that it's owned by husband and wife so they focus on quality and service. Keep it up!
Will definitely return. Kids loved it too even though there isn't a kids menu.
We ordered three dishes and they were all great. Panang curry, yellow curry and padtai.
Fantastic Thai cuisine with great lunch specials. We really enjoyed all of the dishes we tried including the papaya salad, Thai fried rice, pad kapow and pumpkin curry. Very good flavors and spice levels.
Very authentic Thai food! Maybe a little too authentic for me (tried the larb, am not cultured enough for it) but the pad Thai was spectacular. Really loved the fried chicken!
Delicious Thai food. We were a group of 5 people and everyone said it was some of the best for miles around.
It seemed like maybe a bumpy start early on, but Kapow has emerged as an A-list local Thai place for us. Everything has been excellent with some more complex flavors than we typically have seen from others. The veggies are always fresh and the portions are much bigger than average. We've only done take-out - the online ordering works reliably and orders are ready when they're supposed to be. Highly recommend.
Amazing Thai food! I highly recommend. Was very spicy when ordered. Very friendly staff.
The food is so fire. Super legit Thai food. No pic left because the food is gone. Make sure to go eat here. Pad Thai is unlike anywhere else.
The absolute best Thai in the area! Incredible spice and flavors.
Long service but low staff, they’re definitely trying their best and shows in their food. Delicious wontons, dumplings and surprisingly wings. Their sweet chili sauce is great and overall a very authentic place to eat.
Tuk's place is fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious. The Pad Thai is a generous portion and they go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy.
Best Thai❤️
My favorite Thai place in the area. Excellent service and a subtle flavor that keeps me coming back for more. My absolute favorite in the Boulder county/Lafayette area.
This is the best Thai I have had in the denver and Boulder area. Super delicious!
Very unique Thai flavors compared to most other Thai in Colorado. Going to keep comparing them to busaba which is a nice challenge between the two. The drunken noodles are a bit better at busaba, but most of the other dishes seem better at kapow. Curious to try more of their menu over the next few weeks. The authentic nature of kapow is certainly more intriguing.
We have been here before but believe the name and ownership az well as the menu has changed since the last time. Came on a Weds eve and were the only customers here. Ordered the Pad Kapow with brown rice , a very flavorful dish with ground chicken (would have preferred to know that), green beans, bamboo shoots and basil. Got medium which was tasty but not spicy at all. Brown rice is additional cost which would have been nice to know as it's printed for other menu items. My friend got some springerolls and their chicken massaman curry. Nice portions for both. Service was quick and efficient and the owner? was very nice. Like all places prices have gone up so it was over $20 including tip for my one dish. No drinks. I do wish their menu was a little larger to include noodle/rice bowl options but other than that it was a pleasant dinner with a friend.
Great food and service!
Ordered the chicken Tom Kha soup and fried bananas, and it all was quite delicious. Others at the table ordered papaya salad (flavorful), pad Thai (fresh), and pad see ewe (spot on), and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. Can't wait to come back. Best Thai food in Lafayette
Good food, but plain and uninspiring. Noodle dishes were all very similar and stir fry’s the same. Curries were good but not that spicy (even when ordering Thai hot). Will try again, but not in our top 3 Thai restaurants in the area currently.
We visited for the first time today and we are so thrilled to have an authentic Thai place near us. The owners were wonderful and the food was even better. I got the curry set so was able to try three different curries in one sitting! Great value and way to sample the menu. My favorite was the pineapple curry. We will definitely be back.
Delicious authentic Thai. We enjoyed the drunken noodles, pineapple curry and pineapple fried rice.
We've ordered take out twice. The food was absolutely delicious. Pineapple curry is my fave so far. We'll be back for sure!
Delicious meal and the Thai tea with Almond milk was great. I had the Chicken pad Kapow Thai and it was great I only requested the medium spice and it was perfect.
Food was good, but we ordered chicken pad Thai to go with our order but received tofu pad Thai instead. In order details it was chicken pad Thai , please check when you order to go. Thanks .
Quoted 25min for a to go order, arrived on time for pickup and had to wait 25 more minutes while they sent out plenty of food for dine in. Food was mediocre, not worth the wait. Shorted one dumpling, pleasure of paying 5.99 for 4.
Suggestion: don’t ask your customer waiting for 25 minutes if they want a coke/sprite. Offer to comp the appetizer, particularly if only full filling 4/5 of the order.
Great Thai food, best I’ve had yet in Boulder county! Warning, when you ask for it Thai hot, it’s genuinely Thai hot (which is a rare and amazing thing!)
Consistently some of the best food I've ever had. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared. When I've called with questions they've always been more than happy to help. I also have food sensitivities, and I've never had an issue when eating here. Seriously, if you're reading this, give it a try. You won't regret it.
Grabbed lunch with my wife. The food was delicious. Good low key environment. Love the spices.
Finally, a solid Thai restaurant in Lafayette! My favorite local Thai restaurants are Busaba and Aloy Thai so I'm comparing my experience to those places, both of which are very high quality in my opinion. I've had take out twice for lunch now and am overall pleased. Spice levels are Colorado mild, I got Medium on dishes and could taste a little bit of the spice but it wasn't too overwhelming, may be a Mild level in other places like Busaba. The pad thai with tofu was great, lots of sauce and good flavor. The tom kha (medium spice) was a little bland, mostly felt like heavy coconut milk without heat and not a ton of flavor in it (but great coconut if you like coconut!). The sticky rice was an odd texture compared to what I'm used to, too sticky/mushy? I had another noodle dish before and the sauce/flavor was also good, lots of veggies which was nice. Good prices for lunch and fast service for take out. Overall a great place I will return to since it's so close to my house!
You guys...you HAVE to try this new Thai restaurant! It is phenomenal. Very authentic and just simply perfect. The prices are very affordable and portions are great. I ordered on Doordash and haven't been in to the restaurant YET, but 10/10 will be ordering again!
Delicious! My new Thai spot.
This may be my new favorite Boulder County Thai food!
This is my new favorite place for Thai! It’s cooked fresh and made to order & is faithfully authentic! The staff was great, and the place appeared very clean (something I always look for when eating out). I’m so excited that I don’t have to drive so far for amazing Thai food! Thank you for bringing this to Lafayette.
Ordered online for pick up. The site said 30’ wait. I arrived 35’ after I placed the order and was told it was going to be 20’ more minutes. It’s bee 30’ and I’m still waiting for my food.
I was only offered a glass of water as an apology so far.
UPDATE: When I finally got home with my order I had the unpleasant surprise that they missed one of the entrees. When I call them about they offered to prepare it and I could pick it up in another 20’ (which by now I’m guessing it would be 40’ given the speed at which their clocks run) or a free plate the next. They did not offer a refund, which would be my preference given that I am not waiting any longer today nor coming back.
UPDATE 2: received a call by the owner and was refunded for the entree that was missing.
Really good food and nice service. We love in Boulder and like Folsom Thai but will be coming back here next time!
Best around the town. Affordable and tasty. Tried their pad kapow chicken and tom yum. Both were yummy. Found my new staple for Thai food.
I love Thai food and this is by far the best I've had in a long time! I wish I lived closer so this could be my regular spot
Delicious! Best part is that the Chef is actually from Thailand! Clean restaurant and friendly service. Great authentic Thai cuisine. Check them out!
Ordered takeout one Saturday night and was more than happy with our meals! Clean and friendly environment to wait for our order in and the food is amazing! Staff was so friendly and patient with all my questions and helped my husband and I pick out our spice level for the curry. We got the pineapple fried rice, red curry and vegetable egg rolls. All were delicious! We got mild heat on the red curry and it was spicy but not too spicy and had lovely flavor! Will be back!
Definitely check this place out if you're into Thai food! It tastes very authentic compared to other places I've tried. I believe they even offer breakfast, which is unique. I know the owner personally - we used to work together as nurses. She takes such meticulous care of her patients, that it doesn't surprise me at all that the food in her new restaurant is cooked with so much love and intention. They were also very accommodating of my friend who has Celiacs and cannot tolerate gluten. If I lived closer to Lafayette, I would hit this place up at least once a week. If you are looking to support a locally run small business, this is the place.
Amazing place and great environment. As soon as I stepped through the door I was greeted and immediately offered a drink (Thai tea). I usually pace myself with my drinks before I eat but the Thai tea was so delicious that I couldn’t help myself and I finished it before I even ordered my food. The staff was so incredibly patient when we had questions about the menu. I went with a group of 10 people so we ordered a lot of food and was able to try a little bit of everything. Their soups are delicious, the papaya salad was amazing and I really enjoyed the pad Thai as well. I definitely recommend eating here and I will be definitely coming back again!
Wow all I can say is fantastic! This is authentic Thai food, and It’s so good! I had the pad Thai and it’s incredible! They prepare everything fresh and it’s so yummy! I recommend for basically any occasion, I’ll definitely be going back soon :)
Amazing authentic Thai food. Everything had a lot of flavor. Would highly recommend the Thai ice Thai and drunken noodles.
Super fresh and authentic. Portion sizes are good and everything is very tasty. Highly recommend.
I recommend the green curry, pork pad thai, papaya salad, crab wonton, tom yum, too many to mention 😂. The lunch deals are great because Every Entree comes with soup and chai tea I shouldve taken pictures of the food 😭, I was too busy eating 🤣. Next time, I will for sure 😇. Definitely worth coming back to.
OMG This is a taste of Thailand 👍👍👍👍👍
