Lived in thailand for two years, this is the most authentic ive had here in the usa. Perfect in every way.

Diner Review №4

My colleagues and I have been going to Liang's Thai for lunch and sometimes dinner as far back as 2014. Jae is a phenomenal chef learning after his incredible mother, and certainly makes the best Thai in Colorado! Beware if you say hot/spicy, you will get Thai Hot🔥as it should be 😁. I'm grateful for Jae and his mother for all of the great meals over the years. While I don't get to stop by and see Jae as often as I'd like to, it's always a pleasure to support his business and catch up!

Diner Review №5

These guys rock made to order, and flavors are on point!

Diner Review №6

WOW. Extremely good Thai food. I ordered Thai Hot. And they actually made it Thai hot. Not all places do. And this was only $13!
Do you guys give out prik nam pla sauce if we order it?

Diner Review №7

So, I’m just giving 5 stars as I’ve eaten here before upon visiting Denver. But, no business hours posted here on google listing so walked over about 3:00. Maybe locals know when the booth is open but for out of towners, not so much. So, closed on Monday at 3:00, despite business hours posted in window saying he is open. Confusing! Disappointed as the food was so good last time

Diner Review №8

Pretty darn good Pad Thai out of this food truck. It’s legit…

Diner Review №9

Very tasty pad thai

Diner Review №10

Hours posted show open, but no one was there whenever I showed up. This has happened twice. Won’t be going back.

Diner Review №11

The food is ok. Went because my favorite food cart was closed. I would not want to eat here , better for take out. Very dark and just a bit strange. Got the green curry. Portions arnt bad . Service is friendly.

Diner Review №12

Liang’s is the best Thai in Denver! Great pricing, authentic flavor, and super quick service. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №13

Love this food! It’s moved but it’s near the old location just a block over on 16th street. It is cash only so plan ahead and enjoy some amazing Thai food!

Diner Review №14

We had drunken noodles. It was really good and good price too. I took it to go because it’s too hot for me to eat out in the open at that time. Unfortunately with the construction next to it, it’s also a bit hard to find and if it’s too windy you get some dust, so I think most take it to go. I like that they close their windows when they are cooking.

Diner Review №15

Great spot! The spice rating is on point! Nice to know there is good Thai food around that has not become so Americanised. The curries are great, fried rice makes a tasty lunch, you can customise things as well. There are options for Vegetarian, Pescatarian or those that just eat everything. Worth checking out, but warning! ...you'll probably be back for more.

The food may be great, I'll never know. I've tried to go here on three separate occasions -- on different weekdays at different times -- and despite the hours saying they're open (both online and at the location), they've been closed every time. Such a waste of time.

Diner Review №19

I was skeptical but had to try it based on the reviews. It was amazing! I just got takeout and brought back to my hotel.

Diner Review №20

Stopped here on a whim, glad I did. Delicious fresh, made to order Thai food. Don’t come here in a hurry, the chef is hustling but he’s still making everything order. Definitely worth the wait, I’ll be coming back before I head out of town.

Diner Review №21

Great food but unreliable hours. Suggest updating hours when you will be closed. Very frustrating when google says open and I show up and there’s a closed sign. It’s happened a few times now.

Diner Review №22

Food did not disappoint!

Diner Review №23

Food: Drunken Noodles with sliced pork

Vegetables: broccoli, carrots, squash, green beans, onions

Service: cooked to order by chef

Atmosphere: Ikea bistro tables on astro turf lit by a Chanukah display and Christmas lights

Price: $11.50 + I tipped

Best Thai food in Denver!

Diner Review №27

SO good!!! We got the chicken pad thai and Honestly the portion size was huge for a very affordable price.

The man who took our order was also very kind and helpful when it came to us paying for the order. We really appreciated him!

The food was delicious as well, we would recommend everyone to try this place! 👌🏼

Diner Review №28

Probably the best Thai Food in town, I always get some whenever I passed by. The aroma are irresistible for my Asian soul. Their Pad See Wee is my favorite! Their curry is also great! And the guy were really friendly too (:
I would love to taste it all again!

Diner Review №29

Diner Review №30

Very good food thanks 😊

Diner Review №31

Best pad Thai in denver

Diner Review №32

Had pad Thai delivered
It’s so spicy I can’t eat it🥵

Diner Review №33

Good food but it’s not worth to wait under the sun for a half hour or even more. They only accept cash. This road is under construction. They don’t have a cover to provide temporary shades for customers like the other food trucks around. The girl is serving so slow. It takes forever for her to take orders.
The Pad Thai does not have a chives and bean sprouts.
The picture was taken under 95F at 1:15

Diner Review №34

Disappointing. Drunken noodles are good although I’ve never seen green beans in it before. The wontons were terrible, pathetic attempt at making these. Pea size of cheese and don’t think any crab was involved. Thanks for the chips. Good but guessing it’s all the msg.

Diner Review №35

10/10 highly recommended. The food is very fresh and authentic!

Diner Review №36

Well worth the wait in line. Wish he is open on Saturdays!

Diner Review №37

I came to Denver about 3 years and found this hidden gem and I’ve been craving to ever since! I’m finally back in Denver and was trying to look for this place but he is no longer located in the middle of 16th street due to construction. He’s now located off Welton & 16th street on the Target side, diagonal from Lucky strike!

Diner Review №38

Jay is the best person ever and the food is AMAZING! Worth the wait. Best value, too! Even though I moved, anytime I'm back in town he's definitely my first stop!

Diner Review №39

Had the Chicken Panang Curry Extra Hot. Paired it with a oreo milkshake at the Milkshake Bar next door. The panang was great. Perfect texture, plenty of meat and vegtables. Aaamazing. Bring cash or get cash back at the Target 200 feet away.

Diner Review №40

Cash only...

Diner Review №41

Hot Beef Pad Basil ex beef ex rice Yumm Yumm in my tum tum…. Mhmmmmm so delicious 💦💦💦💦

Diner Review №42

There can be a wait if there's a lot of people as it's a two person crew but the food is well worth the wait. Some of the best drunken noodles I have ever had and the portions are good for the price.

Diner Review №45

Great food and long time Denver favorite! Note that due to 16th St mall construction that the cart has moved to 16th and Welton. They also have a new full restaurant location up near US 36 and Wadsworth at 155 Nickel St also called Liang's Thai Food, check it out for some authentic and delicious Thai food!

Diner Review №46

These guys just opened up in Broomfield next to whereI live. I had to stop in. My first experience was delightful. The folks working there were very nice and the food is WOW! SO good ! I had the drunken noodles with chicken and there are so many vegetables as well as chicken. The flavors are extraordinary. I will be back!!!!

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

They we sold out of the Panang curry so I settled on the cashew chicken and it was fantastic! Only in town for 3 days and plan to get a different dish from them every day. Very fresh, flavorful and huge portions

Diner Review №49

High quality Thai food at a reasonable price! You can see it cooked in front of you which was fun too. As of today, the location is slightly different from what Google maps shows due to construction; it is one block east, right across the 16th street from Kilwins chocolates.

Diner Review №50

I’ve been going to this Thai food stand for years now and the food is absolutely amazing. The portion sizes have always been generous (even with inflation!). My go to orders are the beef fried rice and the padthai.
Only complaints are that they dont have social media updates of operating hours, and that lines are long around lunch time so be prepared to queue.
They recently moved due to constructions downtown (about a block from their old location) so be on the lookout!

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

They don’t stay open for their listed hours. Keep in mind when trying to go

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Might have to wait a few minutes... But it is worth it!

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

Best Thai in Denver hands down

Diner Review №58

The line for this food kiosk on 16th street is evidence of its popularity. Every dish is cooked to order with fresh ingredients. The chef/owner has a loyal following and even limiting customers to two orders, the wait can be long. Customers ' willingness to wait speaks to the quality of the food. The dumplings are the best I've had.

Diner Review №59

Delicious, super fresh, friendly service. I had the chicken pad-see-ewe and now I want to go back to try everything else on the menu.

Diner Review №60

Amazing and authentic food. Can’t recommend it enough. I tell everyone about this place who comes to Denver. Anything you get is going to be good so you can’t really go wrong, but I do recommend adding a fried egg and getting the pork dumplings, they’re so delicious. I got the Pad Basil with beef this most recent time and it was stupid good. 10/10. I was so full but couldn’t stop eating. The chefs are so kind and always smiling, love them.

Diner Review №61

Drunken noodle is below average and expectation. As it is a small business and only two person operating the joint, I wouldn’t give a 2 star rating. Food wise, I am pretty disappointed with the drunken noodle. There is only sweet taste and the noodles are not well fried. Tofu is bland. Overall I didn’t enjoy it very much but since it’s a small business, people should give it a try.

Diner Review №62

Amazing pad cashew with chicken. Fresh food, friendly service, and a lot of food for the money!

Diner Review №71

Fantastic!! I have had Thai food across the world, from USA to Thailand and everywhere in between. These guys are among the top, if not the best. 5 stars in every way!!!

Diner Review №72

Walked by this place and saw a line of people standing in the cold….always a good sign. I got medium spice chicken pad Thai and it was unreal. Portions are huge. Flavor is amazing.

Diner Review №73

Super delicious and friendly staffs! Big portion for the price. Reasonably priced :)

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №79

Affordable and delicious Thai Food on 16th and California. The line is always long. Without a line, you can get food in 15 minutes . Cash only!!

Diner Review №80

The line is always long here because of how good it is. Cash only, so it takes a bit of planning ahead of you don’t carry cash (like me).
The portions are well sized so if you don’t have a huge appetite you can probably spread your meal out across two meal times.
The guy that runs that stand is also an absolute sweetheart.

Diner Review №81

Best street food I've eaten in a while. Hot fresh and reasonably priced.

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

Do yourself a favor and eat here!!!

Bonkers good.

Diner Review №85

The BEST Thai food in Colorado! If there’s a line, it’s 100% worth the wait. It’s cash only, so just a heads up there. Very reasonable prices too.

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

Nice owner, good food!

Diner Review №88

To the guy at Liang’s Thai, your energy will be the reason I come back. This place is cash only, so it’s a bit difficult to order a lot when you’re used to Apple Pay or CC. We ordered a pad see ew with chicken to go. It had the wok hei char and was nicely sweetened, but felt there was too heavy use of pepper that made the meal a bit un enjoyable. Will have to come back and specify how we want it cooked so that we can give it another shot.

Diner Review №89

Exquisite taste, friendly and affordable!

Diner Review №90

Amazing all around. Best Thai food I've had up here so far, I just wish there was a restaurant I could go to on weekends 😢

Diner Review №91

Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had!! Amazing pad thai, flavors were delicious and they were quick! Really good portion sizes for an affordable price.

Diner Review №92

Really good pad Thai !

Diner Review №93

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

THE BEST

Diner Review №96

I’m no Thai food expert. I’ve barley dabbled in Thai food, but what I can say is the Pad Thai is easily one of the best things I’ve eaten on the entire 16th street mall corridor. Worth a stop - cash only!

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

I love Thai food and immediately noticed this cart in the 16th street mall in downtown Denver. As a tourist, I was intrigued. Every time we walked by, there was line, so I knew I needed to stop here. I haven’t eaten Thai Fiid all around the US, from the east coast to west… so I actually didn’t have too many expectations… but I was not disappointed at all.

I finally decided to stop by to grab dinner. A local convinced that this was the place to get thai. I got the Drunken Noodle w Chicken, Thai Spicy, and this is easily the best Drunken Noodle that I have ever had. He definitely hit the mark w making it Thai Spicy. It was absolutely amazing. Just the right amount of veggies… just the right amount of noodles… just the right amount of chicken. It was awesome.

The food is cooked fresh right in front of you. The staff is awesome. The portions are more than generous and the prices are VERY reasonable.

I would eat here everyday if I could…/
Sooooo good. Thank you so much.

Diner Review №100

Ordered the Pad Basil medium. Perfect amount of spicy, super fresh and cooked to order with quality ingredients. This is probably going to become my favorite lunch spot.

Diner Review №101

Great food, great portions, great service! Always worth the wait if you're visiting during peak lunch hours - everyone on the 16th Street Mall knows Liang's is the best place for lunch.

Diner Review №102

Great street food. The guys are friendly, the food tasted good. Only drawback is that there is a long wait but the taste makes up for it.

Oh! Wish they took credit cards.

Diner Review №103

Ordered the Panang Curry spicy - and asked for "Thai Spicy".

I'm 3 bites into this meal and I'm writing my review. Of the best Thai meals I've ever had, this is right up at the top. Outstanding. Absolutely masterfully done with perfect flavor, fresh veggies, wonderful care taken into prep, and - of course, giving me that on a scale of 1-10, make it an 11 Thai Spicy that I asked for!

Not to mention the chef is an all around great guy!

We'll be back while in town - thanks for the great meal!

Diner Review №104

Don’t go by the Google times because they aren’t consistent at all. Every time I have attempted to go here they’re closed when it’s shows them being open. Unless you’re already downtown it’s not worth the drive because you never know if they’ll be open or not.

Diner Review №105

Best Thai Food I ever ate. I really recommend!

Diner Review №106

Solid Thai food and customer service. Anticipate a wait as the man only has room for two burners. Waited about 25 min to get through line, but definitely worth it. Will be going back.

Diner Review №107

Good! Big portions. A bit greasy, to be honest, though I get why everyone likes it. Service was personalized and everyone seems to be friends with the cook, who was very nice and personable. Ran out of some ingredients, so we had several substitutions in our meal. Long waits, but based on the reviews you should know that going in!

Diner Review №108

Hidden gem, not so hidden! Located right on 16th and California, this place is incredible! There is a line every day because it is the best Thai food for miles. I had the Pad Thai spicy and it was amazing. A one man operation with everything cooked to order. Because of that, you will need to be patient but it is worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №109

I read the reviews for this place and had to try it on my visit to Denver (I’m from Maryland). Everyone who was in line was also from different states - and everyone was impressed when the food was finished.

My family (five of us, including 3 kids under 12) got two orders of the chicken Pad Thai and two orders of the chicken fried rice. One order of the Pad Thai was medium spicy level. Everything else was mild. Medium had some kick to it, but wasn’t too spicy to enjoy it. If you enjoy really spicy, I would suggest going with the hot or Thai spicy level.

One thing - he mixed up my order. He gave us a fried rice, instead of the drunken noodles. He was working so hard and felt sorry about it, and there was a longer line forming, so it wasn’t too big of a deal. Food was still super good.

He was working hard. I don’t know how he does, but he puts out delicious food in a timely manner. If there is a line, you will have to wait longer than at a normal food truck, but the food is worth the wait.

The portions are plenty - we had leftovers - and the prices are definite fair and the food is amazing.

I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.

Diner Review №117

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

Great Thai food served here with an equally superior customer service. The chef knew most of his customers by name and that was remarkable. The food is pretty high standard and prepared in front of you in a matter of a few minutes. The drunken noodles (pad kee mao) and panang curry are highly recommended if you're struggling to pick

Diner Review №120

fire pad thai🔥🔥

Diner Review №121

Jay is the man! I've been going here since 2012 when I was in college and since then Jay has taken over the food stand that his mother used to run. The food is always top notch and some of the best Thai food you will find in Colorado. There is a con which is that him and Chef Tommy (I think that was his name) are the only people running the stand and they make all the food from scratch so it'll obviously take time to get through orders. With that being said, I am a very impatient person and think that waiting 45 minutes to an hour for a meal is ridiculous. I make an exception for Jay. Not only is his food amazing but he is an amazing guy as well. He never has a frown on his face and always makes funny, interesting conversation. Also, if you're not familiar with the Thai spice levels and enjoy spicy food, maybe try a step down from what you think you want first and build up. Do yourself a favor and try out this awesome guy's food!

Diner Review №122

Delicious, authentic, wonderful.

Diner Review №123

Guys. This is by far the best Thai place in town! Fresh ingredients, moist and bursting with flavor. Just wish they were open more often.

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Very good food. Food came out quick and was a reasonable price.

Diner Review №126

Worth the wait, easily one of the best food choices on 16th street mall.

Diner Review №127

One of the best kept secrets in Denver. Lucky I found him 2 years ago. After my first taste, he moved from the original place he was, and then was temporarily closed for a little while. Glad to have him back consistently for the past year. When we talk top 5 food trucks in downtown Denver, Liang Thai is in the Top 3. So happy I live one block walking distance away

Diner Review №128

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

Wow! Best Thai food I've had in a while (one of the very best in the USA). Working my way through the menu and everything is great: pad cashew, pad basil, pad Thai, drunken noodle, and panang curry. Will try something new next time just because I'm sure it will be great. Chicken and vegetables and noodles are always is cooked perfectly. Spice is consistent and authentic (I get medium here and usually hot at most American-ized places).

Owners are super friendly as well. Expect a line if you come at lunch time! Cash only, but very reasonably priced. I travel all over and always seek out Thai food, and this is one of my top two in the country.

Diner Review №170

Absolutely delicious Pad See Ewe. These guys killed it. Service was also amazing. The gentleman working the window was super friendly.

Diner Review №171

Y'all it's everything the reviews say and more. I was here visiting and went everyday he was open. Stood in line Friday 30 minutes before opening only to be #2 in line LOL. I had the panang curry and the green curry. I'm ready to fly back and get more!!! 😋😋😋

Diner Review №172

Awesome Thai food!! The owner is so accommodating and kind and he works so fast! It's also only $10 per entree!

If you're vegetarian, just note that he can't wash the pan for you but he will wipe it down. I didn't mind but it's something to keep in mind.

Also he mentioned that for vegetarians the curries are really watery (the substance is in the meat marinade). He recommended the noodles to us and they were delicious!!

There's a little bit of outdoor seating but otherwise just takeout.

Diner Review №173

This is the cutest place. The owner is so kind and attentive. I ordered the drunken noodles with beef. It was great! He was almost out of the curry, but he cooked us a little something so we could taste the curry because everyone was raving about the panang chicken. The restaurant is a small booth with no seating; however, there is plenty of community seating right behind it. I cannot wait to visit Denver again and try it.

Diner Review №174

The golden ticket of lunch spots around the area! The chef is incredibly efficient, talented and customer service oriented. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. We need more places like this! Must check out!

Diner Review №175

I didn't order anything from you yesterday because you were not wearing a mask while cooking. I was a little bit concerned. 5 stars for your food, I had it before, loved it.

Diner Review №176

Diner Review №183

Diner Review №184

Liang is a nice guy! I'm not a big noodle fan, but I had one of this guy's dishes and I keep going back! (Kiosk on 16th Street Mall)

Diner Review №185

Amazing food, quick service and freshly made! The guy is really friendly and the food is phenomenal! We tried the pad thai and the fried rice and both were good, the pad thai was a tad sweet for me but it was still tasty nonetheless. You can customize how spicy you want it and we got a medium/medium high and it was an absolute bomb! Absolutely recommend!

Diner Review №186

Diner Review №190

Delicious Thai food that is super affordable.

The stand had great culture, it was fun to watch him cook, and it was tasty. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №191

Fantastic food obviously made with a lot of care and passion

Diner Review №192

Amazing, fresh, flavorful, reasonably priced Thai dishes. I didn't get the name of the gentleman who manned the one man operation, but I'm going to assume he is Liang and this is his spot which made the experience all the more authentic. He takes your order; cooks, plates, and serves your food, then finishes your transaction. A one man operation indeed. Love the fresh vegetables incorporated into the dishes. If you're around, able, and love thai food (or good fresh food in general), give Liang's Thai a try. You WON'T be disappointed.

Diner Review №193

Great Thai food! Seems like a hidden gem. I would go back if I had time! Got the pad thai with chicken - yummy - very reasonably priced!! One man show and he does an amazing job with customer service also.

The absolute best Thai food on the planet! Hands down. Visit their new location on 16th Street Mall and California. You can't miss it, just follow the line of people standing waiting to place an order. They know what's up! Enjoy. CAB 😍

Liang's will blow your tastebuds minds'! Authentic Thai food prepared to the highest quality level every time! Liang makes great, tasty, mouth-watering Thai! Adding to the quality of the dishes and sides are friendly, excellent service, large portions, and exceptional value for the price. This makes Liang's the all around Thai food winner in the CBD area and among the best in Denver. They're located at California St and 16th St Mall.

Diner Review №200

April 2021: Good food at a street kiosk. Slightly different from standard thai noodle dishes (a whole fried egg and lots of black pepper) but it's not bad. FYI, it’s cash only and with a single guy running the joint (cooks two orders at a time). Be prepared to spend your entire lunch break waiting in line or for the food. Friendly guy, great service, good prices.
