Thai Cuisine
We’ve been frequent visitors to this restaurant and have always enjoyed the food and service, especially from the two female servers who are warm and attentive. Unfortunately, our recent experience with a male server was extremely disappointing and left a negative impression.
From the start, service was painfully slow—waiting 7 minutes just to be seated, another 12 for the menu, 10 more to place the order, and nearly 20 minutes for the food. The server didn’t provide basic necessities like spoons, bowls, or plates, forcing us to wait another 8 minutes while our food got cold. When we finally requested them, he seemed irritated and unhelpful, barely acknowledging us. To top it off, he dropped the check on our table before we even started eating, making us feel rushed and unwelcome.
There was no effort to check on us, refill water, or ensure we had everything we needed. While everyone can have a bad day, the level of bitterness in his attitude made it clear he had no interest in serving us. After spending a good amount of money, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
We’ll think twice before dining in if he’s working and will be sharing this experience with colleagues we previously recommended this place to. The food remains great, but service like this can seriously hurt a restaurant’s reputation.
I recently dined at Cherry Thai cafe and had an amazing experience. The highlight of my meal was the shrimp tom yum with Thai hot spice. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with a spicy kick that left a lasting impression. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and added a delightful seafood element to the dish. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was top-notch. I highly recommend Cherry Thai cafe for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine that is bursting with flavor.
I’m Vegan, and this was my first time eating here. I went because of the amazing reviews, and I promise they will NOT disappoint! She worked patiently w me, they could accommodate any of my requests! (gluten free, soy free, vegan broth) I ordered enough food for dinner and lunch tomorrow. Next time I’m bringing my family too! 😉
Upon entering, the waitress was friendly right away. She is Thai but speaks English fine.
I ordered Pineapple Curry with Chicken and brown rice. Although I ordered it Thai hot, it was medium at best, but still quite tasty. I'm happy they serve brown rice!
They do not have a liquor license, so no Sing Ha beer to have with your meal.
There are lots of Door Dash drivers coming to pick up food, so it's popular.
I'd return.
First time at this place. Wasn't too busy inside but tons of delivery orders.
The food came out quick and the portion was huge. Ingredients tasted fresh and my dish had a perfect blend of spice and flavors. The price isn't too bad for the quality. The service was friendly and I'll most likely return.
Ordered chicken pad Thai and it was the driest nastiest pad Thai I’ve ever had, pretty sure it was a day old or older. I’m so disappointed and unhappy that I spend $16 on this! Its in the trash as I speak. Don’t go here!!!
Inside of the restaurant it smelled and looked dirty, I should have known…
Just stopped in for a quick bite. I got a side of rice and Tom Kha soup with tofu. The soup was delicious and the woman who helped me was very friendly. The restaurant had a cozy and clean ambience. I'm excited to come back to sample the curries!

Excellent food and even better service. The drunken noodles are what dreams are made of.
Very very delicious
Ordered Thai hot, not spicy at all
This restaurant is very overpriced for the small portion size you recieve. The food came cold and overcooked! Was very disappointed in the food and food quality. We only live 4 minutes away from this restaurant so no reason for the food to come cold. We got our food in a timely manner. We will not be ordering from here again.
Cherry Thai Cafe was so wonderful! We stumbled in after getting rained out from our campsite. Everything was delicious, especially the pumpkin curry, and the atmosphere was chill and the proprietor was incredibly kind. Wish we lived closer - we’d be back all the time!
The food is spicy and amazing!

Amazing food. Long wait. The chicken was a healthy texture, not like mangled weird texture meat you find at most Asian restaurants. The brown rice is soft and moist.
Ordered delivery for the portion was half of what was expected didn’t even fill the container half way.
They give you one rice for 2 orders which for the price is not worth it.
Ordered a couple of times from them for the price go somewhere else.
This Thai restaurant is pretty good. I had the pad thai and it was yummy.
Delicious food. The mango sticky rice. The crab fried rice the sesame chicken the pad thai all soo good! Always had good service here. Location right across from cherry creek reservoir.
Absolute hot garbage. I tried the pad thai and it had no flavor. It was basically just rice noodles sautéed in oil. I tried doctoring it up with soy sauce, lime, and Sriracha. But it ended up in the trash. Don't waste your time.
One of the best Thai places around! Their Tom Yum soup is better than anywhere I've ever been to. The atmosphere is calm, the servers have a fantastic sense of humor and are always on top of beverages. I always stop by at least once when I'm in town! Absolutely worth it!
Ordered delivery. Food was perfect. The pumpkin curry was amazing!
Great restaurant! Very flavorful and delicious.
Great experience, great food and most importantly... great people, providing excellent service. Support your local business, highly recommend!
Kind people and good food. I visit Thailand regularly. This place is the most authentic I seem to be able to find.
Upon entering, the waitress was friendly right away. She is Thai but speaks English fine.

I'd return.
Ordered takeout, Panang Curry was exceptional, so were the egg rolls. Service was friendly and fast

Great Thai food. We love going here.

One of our go to places for Thai food in Denver Dine-in and UberEats, The food is delicious.
I worked in this area for a week and stopped by this place 3-days in a row. Had Pad Thai, Pad see Ew and Penang Curry and DAMN! they were all delicious. Highly recommend in your looking for authentic delicious Thai food!
A can't miss Thai food dining experience!
The screens showed video of beautiful locations and water, and the people managing were some of the nicest people I have interacted with since arriving to Denver. Not to mention, they appear to do a fantastic job of cooking. Thank y’all.
The food is good but the restaurant smells like sewage.... I'm so disgusted that I probably won't be eating here or ordering from here anymore. It makes me worry that it's unsanitary.
We’ve been coming here for several years. We enjoy the food, but the cost has gone up and portions have gotten small. Every time we order take out the portions seem to get smaller and smaller. Pretty disappointing.
The yellow curry and ginger stir fry were fantastic. The medium spice was just enough to be spicy but not enough to be too much! We will be returning here!
One of our favorite Thai restaurants in Denver.
My boyfriend introduced me to this place and fell in love! It was both our first times trying this place and everything taste as good as it looks! It's about a 20 minute drive from my house but rain or snow, I will drive here for some great food! There is such great flavor in all the dishes, the spice is perfect ( definitely on the Spicer side) but done so well! And everyone is so nice! This is my new favorite restaurant/take-out. I am obsessed!
I called over an hour ahead to get a pickup order and when I arrived, it took 15 minutes of me standing there for anyone to even acknowledge me. Then they said they would check to see if the order was ready and never came back to close the loop. I tried to ask for a follow up status twice, and nothing! Worst service of my life. At least acknowledge and communicate, you’ll sink as a company otherwise. I was so disgusted, I just left, why bother giving them my money if they barely communicate or care about their customers?
Was a good place, (was) but has gone downhill from food to service. We got there with about 40 minutes before they close for an hour so they can eat and they RUSHED us and under cooked our food, also the cook we could hear him in the back all mad cooking fast and slamming things. All part of the restaurant business if you don’t like it close your restaurant down for good and also getting real sick and tired of the staffs sour attitude, with attitudes like that don’t get mad if you get under tipped or even a tip at all, doubt well be coming back when the restaurant hardly has customers as it is.
Horrible pickup service. Sat there for 25 minutes watching others get their order after I told the person I was there to pick up my order. Completely got ignored after I said I was there for pickup. Had to walk to the back counter and grab my now COLD order that has been sitting there. Likely won’t be back as there are closer options that give me good service. Tried to support small businesses and was let down. Aurora service gonna be like that sometimes 👎 I will say though, the food is good for the price. At. Least they have that going for them
We walked in and seated ourself because the hostess was no where to be seen. Another couple came in and did the same still with no hostess in sight. She came out didn't say anything to us or the other people for awhile. Probably took 10-15min to get our order. Honestly the review is just for the food which tasted good. Other than that I probably won't ever dine in at this place ever again. Order to go? Maybe... but the 1st impression was NOT GOOD.
Really great new Thai place
The pad Thai and pad see-ew are both fantastic
Their Panang curry is excellent! The atmosphere was quite dull and the music they played really turned me off. I would probably bring earbuds to drown it out.
Edit:
They listened :) the atmosphere has dramatically improved. Now my favorite local Thai restaurant
Gr8 tasting dishes, friendly service, lacks atmosphere, 2 out 3 ain't bad!
Best Thai food, I ever had!
Service and Food 👌
Best Pinnaple curry & Pinnaple fried rice!
I love this place on Uber eats. Always fresh and delicious 😋
Ordered from here before and enjoyed our meals. This time , the drunken noodles don’t appear to have chicken, looks and tastes like tofu. The square squishy chunks aren’t chicken texture . The meal/soup with shrimp had 2 shrimp in it.
Came here for lunch Andrew it was really great food and service. They are so nice here. Comfortable, clean, and excellent food. Great place!!!
Do not eat here. Hair in the pad thai and when I complained to restaurant they were nonchalant. Terrible restaurant terrible service. Be ware.
Pad Woonsen with Chicken (Thai Hot) was great.
First time here at this place, but will definitely return again. Food was good, and not very busy
I have been going to Cherry Thai since it re-opened as Cherry Thai. It seems like the current staff have now really hit their stride and are sending out consistently good dishes quick! I usually do carry out, they always seem to have multiple orders ready to go alongside mine.
The dining room never has more then one or two parties at any one time when I’ve been there.
My favorite dish is the pad see ew with beef made hot hot hot
Unique Pad Thai, almost tastes like there’s tea in it - anyways I love it, and their drunken noodles too! Num!!
If you order online for pickup order, they add 23% more for every item. Why? It is not like they are waiting on me like they would if I were to eat in. I won't even bother eating in.
Underrated restaurant. My favorite for lunch.
Messed up our pickup order. I didn't realize until I got home. Called and called but no answer. Had to drive 25 minutes there, just to wait and wait. Finally had to shout out to get some service. Won't be going back.
First time at this place. Wasn't too busy inside but tons of delivery orders.
The food came out quick and the portion was huge. Ingredients tasted fresh and my dish had a perfect blend of spice and flavors. The price isn't too bad for the quality. The service was friendly and I'll most likely return.
Food is always great, normally get to go... was able to sit inside and watch all the to go orders being picked up. Food still came out fast. Ordered more than enough food for 2 people, and it was about $30 cheaper than another Thai place we frequent. Thank you again!!!!
We dined in and had the most delicious spring rolls, stir fry sweet and sour.chicken.
Decided to try a restaurant Id never been to - and I was pleasantly surprised by Cherry Thai. The food was delicious & a generous portion. The waiter was helpful & polite. My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves. The only ding I would give this restaurant is the decor is very sparse. I think it could be a huge bonus if they added more color, decorations, better lighting, etc. Overall, I would totally recommend this place! (we had Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and a Chicken/veggie dish. All were wonderful!)
I LOVED that music was blasting where I couldn't talk to my friend I haven't seen in awhile.....and I've never been to Colorado.
My husband is Thai and makes Thai food. I got the papaya salad, with sticky rice and added chicken breast (for protein). It was very good.....almost as good as my husband's papaya salad. If I'm ever in Colorado again, I would come back again!! Oh. I forgot the appetizer.....crab wontons.....don't recommend. They tasted freezer burnt and stale.
First time here and I did not like the food. We were there for a total of 30 minutes-1 hour and I had asked for a Sprite and it wasn't until we were about to leave he poured more water and finally remembered my drink. He opened the can of Sprite and poured it in my cup...I thought it was weird because typically you'd pour it yourself. I'm never coming back.
This place is great. Everything is delicious, I have tried almost everything by now. The staff is really nice, great service. 10/10 recommend 👌
Really good Pad Thai and good prices.
Must be Aurora's best kept secret! Never busy but it ought to be. Food is fantastic the egg rolls are even hand made. Can't say enough, my new favorite restaurant
Like others have noted, the Tom Yum soup is really good. Medium + was the perfect spice level. That being said, the flavor profiles of other dishes are not very nuanced, and in some cases the serving sizes are so small (takeout order), that its frankly offensive (phad prik king only half filled the container). Overall its decent grub, but proceed with caution..
Amazing green curry & spring roll!!
Tried to order a large meal. Said delivery was available so we spent half an hour passing the phone around so everyone could put in their specific order. Then went to pay and it said delivery was unavailable. Apparently, the staff changes the delivery area based on how busy they are. Was a huge hassle.
I am traveling for work...I came across this place...HIGHLY RECOMMEND...the taste is perfect Thai and the portions are excellent
All items met or exceeded expectations.
Very good highly recommend
It's very fast and very chill, by which I mean quiet
Good food, service, quiet and clean.
Tried this place for the first time based on the decent reviews it had. Very sad and disappointed with the portion size. The rice wasn’t filled up completely and the kana (crispy pork with Chinese broccoli) had small minced pieces of pork and a lot of broccoli. The ratio was completely off and there was hardly any meat. The dish also lacked flavor. For 12.95 a dish I expect more and will not be back. Very sad 😞
Bland dry trash. Do not order good from this place.
Love this place! We order delivery often. We like the pad thai, panang curry, drunken noodles, and egg rolls. We order medium spice and it’ll make your nose run. We personally love that, but if you don’t like spicy then be sure to ask for mild.
Not too far from my house so a favorite when I want to order takeout. I really like the drunken noodles, the pad thai is also very good. Their spice is good and easy to customize based on your preferences.
It can get busy for take out but they are alway apologetic if the wait is longer and do their best to let you know how long they expect the wait to be. A busy restaurant is a good sign so don’t let it keep you away.
Amazing food🔥🔥
Delicious. Flavorful. Creamy curry NOT greasy or watery. Thai tea was flavorful also not watered down.
Delicious! Have been there once in person and ordered takeout on several other occasions and they just never miss with flavor.
So we used to like here. We ordered tonight and the "medium" was so spicy no one in the house could eat it. I had PB&J for dinner....after spending over $50....we called and they said after picking up our food we could no longer get a refund. So unacceptable. Their only way to correct was if we returned to the store...we have a 2 week old and a 2 year old and it is almost 7pm and they aren't close to us so no we can't return. So disappointed and won't be back.
New to the area, dying for good Thai food. Ordered based on reviews on google. We decided to give this place a chance via Uber eats delivery. I Ordered pad Thai with an egg mild temp and my spouse ordered panang curry mild. My pad thai looked really good even though they forgot my egg. However, don’t judge it by the looks, bc it had no flavor whatsoever, even smelled like cigarette smoke. I didn’t eat it. The panang curry was spicier than requested. I liked the spice but it was too much for my wife. But it was underwhelming and very very very little flavor. The Tom yum kha soup was probably the best except they put nearly a onion chopper in the soup.
Wish there was good Thai in Denver 😔
Very nice abd fresh
Went there when the new owner first took over about 6 months ago. It was so good - laid-back atmosphere and really good food! I love that they are right across the street from us too. The service is friendly and the food is delicious!
Delicious food. Quick service and very clean. We would love to come back.
Super good, I wish I lived close by and I would be here every day for lunch.
The food and Thai Iced Tea are always great here.
Amazing authentic Thai! They even have pumpkin curry, which isn't that common around Denver.
Very good Thai food
They do NOT believe sauce. Driest pad thai and drucken noodles ever! Zero sauce!! Flavor is ok. Will not order again
So flavorful and good!!
We had been loving cherry Thai for years. Word on the street is that the owners have changed. Unfortunately with this we have seen a decrease in quality and portion size of the food and an increase in prices and I don’t know that it will be our go to anymore.
Walked in 20 minutes before they closed. The Hostess was very sweet she took my order 2 Thai egg rolls & 2 orders of sweet sticky rice with mango. The food was great. I will definitely go back when there is more time & try other items on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
The food was pretty good, service ok and atmosphere underwhelming. Not sure why it has so many 5 star reviews. Won’t be returning.
Delicious drunken noodles chicken
I've tried several different Thai places in the Denver area now, and this is by far the best! Finally a Thai restaurant that does Thai hot actually THAI HOT! I think I've found my new go-to Thai takeout spot!!
Delicious food. I appreciate the customer service as well. Very nice people and food
Have now ordered through delivery services multiple times and have to say, this is now 100% my favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado. The food is SO DELICIOUS! Their Panang curry with tofu and Tom Kha soup are the best ever. Must try this place if you haven't!
I'm not sure why their title says (Coming Soon), as they are open. Fantastic food with excellent pricing. I didn't like Thai food until I came here, now I'm excited for it.
Delicious!! Amazing!! Will go back soon!!
Delicious. Larger portions than most Thai restaurants.
There's a reason why they have no customers while the place next door is full. They don't listen to your order, 2 orders wrong in a row after driving 30 minutes is not cool.
The Tom Kha soup was amazing! The Thai basil was okay though it didn't have much flavor.
I hardly ever leave a review. This place is fantastic. Great service and staff, clean, and great portions for the price. Their panang curry is bangin! Best I’ve ever had. Will definitely keep coming back!
Wow, I can’t stop ordering their food now. I’ve tried a few different dishes and all have been so good. Just tried the Panang Curry and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Even though they forgot to give me my side of rice tonight, their fried rice I always order is simply amazing. Their Thai Ice Tea is really good too. Love this place!
New owner!! This is the best Thai food in DENVER! I highly recommend this restaurant. Great friendly customer service. Good prices.
First time in since the new owners came in and everything was great! Vegetables in both of our dishes were fresh which is a big deal to us. I had the pork yakisoba and it was great. Owner was very nice! We will be back again. Highly recommend
Ordered green curry from here and was the worst curry ever!
This is a new place to the area and they had a very busy take out while I was there. Only 3 dinners inside. The service was very fast, friendly and willing to listen to how difficult it was to read the menu with the small print and amin of symbol in the background of the print. The server did offer a laptop to read for there instead to make my choices and was very patient. The food was nice and spicy like I expected and terrific great place try it
We used to order from this restaurant all the time and it was always really. good. Recently the quality has not been as good and we ordered today and the pricing has gone up significantly. We decided we will still order because we have always liked it in the past, but today the fried rice literally had no flavor and for 15+ bucks it should be amazing. Perhaps there is new ownership - and that is unfortunate because again this place used to be so good! :(.
Not sure what happened to this place but I feel COVID really made a negative impact to the quality. I'm thinking there was a change somewhere in ownership in the last year that has really led to the downfall.
To start it off, the food was GREAT! Super fast to come out to the table and they were on top of filling up the water and just the service all around. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and just had a very welcoming hospitality. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely be going back!
Best Thai in Colorado!
Good, but not amazing.
The crab cheese wontons were really disappointing, and the pad thai was good, but had some flaws.
The spice of the pad thai (hot) was great, flavor was decent, but the portion size and amount of meat were really lacking.
For others, I'd say try it, but be willing to also try Thai spots closer to Denver for comparison. My personal favorite so far has been Aungs Bangkok Cafe, if anyone happens to want a recommendation.
New owners but still amazing quality and speed!
Never again. The sesame chicken is so dry we can’t eat it. We ordered pot stickers, Eggrolls, and crab wontons. Each came with 0 sauce. Sucked
Finally!! Finally found a place near me that has great thai food! We got the cherry sampler, beef drunken noodles and shrimp pad thai. The sampler, we loved the dumplings and spring roll. The crab cheese wontons could have been better, too much breading and not enough crab/cream cheese. Butttt the drunken noodles and pad thai were soooo good!! We both got medium and that definitely was quite a kick, the flavors are so good and we will definitely be back soon!!
Wonderful food. Spice was right on point Can't wait to go back
We are huge fans of this Thai place. Clean place offering fresh, flavorful and delicious Thai food. Very sweet staff that takes the time to get your order right. Perfect and authentic flavors. Will visit again when we are in Denver.
SO GOOD!! Great food, great service, nice chill vibe and lovely decor. Definitely making this a regular.
Everything here is delicious and the staff is WONDERFUL!
Used to be decent last curry was way too salty!
Absolutely love this place. So glad I only live 4 minutes from it. My favorite is the drunken noodle soup. But everything we've had is delicious.
Thai basil with chicken was delicious
I love the food here! I usually get it through Doordash but this recent time I called ahead for pickup and the food was ready in 10 minutes. 👍
Omg... what a great food they have!!! We went to a different Thai restaurant first. But that place did only take outs due to whatever reason so we turned around (sick of take outs after lock down)...and came here. We didn’t have any expectations, but man what a surprise we got. Chicken wings GREAT, spring rolls GREAT, 2 main courses GREAT! Thank u guys. Please support small local restaurants!!! Enough of take outs.
Delicious food. Good portions. Great prices. We'll be back!
Great place. I’ve been looking for a THAI, not Chinese, Thai food place. And this is it
I LOVE the food here! One of my favorite places. Best Thai I've ever had.
After having a really bad experience we decided to give you all another chance like you asked. So after almost 4 or 5 months we decided to have a date night at Cherry Thai. Guess what when our food came out it was Cold . Except the sesame chicken which came out old & cold. It tasted like it had been microwaved within a inch of its life. When the waiter sat out food down he knew it wasn’t hot. Even though there were only 3 other tables he didn’t come back to our table for almost 30 minutes. We loved your food when we started ordering from you .Now it’s time to finally come to terms that the quality is no longer there. After this time we have decided that we won’t be back.
Amazing curry. To die for! The waiter was so friendly and the food is always good every time I’ve come in. Will be back again and again
Wow! Best Thai I have had outside of Thailand.
While in labor, I needed some food. Ordered the chicken red curry and some sushi. It was wonderful.
Everything was great. We'll be back!
Friendly, efficient service. Love you can pick number from 1-10 on amount of spice (heat). Booths and spacious seating. Fresh and delicious food. Cooked very well.
Good service and the food was good as well. We tried pad tai with glass noodles, rice and thick noodle.
Color me impressed! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I had the Pad Thai and Thai rolls with pork. Absolutely delicious. They even have a spice range from 1 to 10(Thai hot). Had mine at an 8. Great flavor.
I've been here a few times now and we love it. Reasonable prices on amazing Thai food. Have had numerous dishes at this point and we've never been disappointed...always super happy with food.
One thing though...I like spicy food and the scale of 1-10 they use is scarey to me. Had a 6 today and it was a bit too hot. Still tasted my food but not what I thought a 6 would be. So be careful with that scale. 😏
