Full service Fine Dining authentic Thai restaurant
We recently moved to Walnut Creek and wandered into this place on Friday night. We loved every dish we ordered. My green curry with chicken was outstanding, the fried rice, fish, chicken satay, and pot stickers were all delicious. Highly recommend - we will be heading back soon!
Placed an order for pick up from this place. Ordered the Pad Se Ew and a Fried Rice. When I got home, I realized I didn't receive any fried rice, there was some other noodle dish that I couldn't eat cause it was definitely the highest spice level and tasted like crap. For the Pad Se Ew, there was uncooked pieces of noodles in the dish per the picture. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
We enjoyed another great meal at Thai Thani. This time we ordered a variety of Thai and Sushi. The rolls were delicious! I love when I don’t have to ask for fresh ginger and wasabi. Our servers Tar and Eve made sure we had plenty. We had the extra pleasure of meeting Chef Monica on our visit! We thanked her for the delicious food her and her staff prepared for us. The staff are all warm and friendly and you will be very happy to try this lovely restaurant. We will be back!
Got take out 2 noodle dishes so I can only review on the quality of these two items:
Pad Thai with shrimp was good. Good amount of noodles and decent amount of shrimps. The lime and extra crunchy peanut was a nice touch.
Pad See Ew (flat stir fried rice noodle) was very disappointing 2 reasons are noodles were mushy & no flavor in the sauce.
just plain sad see attached photo.
Will not return to this place for Thai food.
Nice service and nice to be able to choose from so many different things as a family of 4. One daughter wanted Thai and the other wanted sushi so this seemed like a nice option. Food was okay, but for the price I was expecting more. Pad Thai was a lot and just okay on flavor, but the other things we ordered were not that great. We don't live near this place so probably won't venture to try again, but maybe other things on the menu are better.
Pleasantly surprised to this new finding at the favorite Orchards At Walnut Creek place.
Excellent Thai and Japanese cuisine, warm and friendly hospitality, authentic theme throughout the restaurant will make your evening complete.
Two menus of different cuisine will be at your table providing best quality, fresh, deliciously prepared food. Anything your heart desire from appetizers to desserts will be each sides of the menus. Would highly recommend my favorite Tom Ka (Thai coconut soup) and Sushi Sashimi plate to have a taste of all of it.
Don't forget to pay attention to the design and deco details.
Thank you for the pleasant evening and hope to see you soon again.

Always super friendly in this place, it's great for lunch or dinner. They have both Thai and Japanese menus. Recommended!
The atmosphere is fun and the service was good. The food, unfortunately, was average.
On the search for good Thai food, my family and I stumbled on this restaurant. If I wanted to spend my father’s birthday eating mediocre food, a nicely served platter of my puppy’s vomit wouldve sufficed. This place is👎
The food and service has greatly improved since my last review. I picked up Thai for take-out but sat at the bar while they made the food. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
First time at this place, their Thai curries have no flavor and they missed ingredients in the curry. We asked for a pad thai to-go, they gave us boiled noodles and boiled chicken pieces. 😟

Delicious food! Pleasant service! Nice atmosphere
Really good Thai food, friendly attentive service, and nice portions. Expect to drop a few coins, but worth it. I'll definitely back!
I love this place! They serve as a Thai restaurant AND a Japanese sushi restaurant so everyone is satisfied. When you order takeout it always arrives fresh and delicious. And you absolutely must try the Crab Rangoon. It is the best I have tasted anywhere and I am completely addicted to it.
like it will go back

Delicious Thai and creative!
Food was very lackluster. The taste just wasn't there the food arrived cold. The food that was supposed to be spicy wasn't. Was very mediocre.
The server sent the wrong dish to us and make the correct one to us. But charge us two dishes price…. He never admit his fault…
The servicer is rude and confused about our orders
Love this place
Food is very good and staff are friendly and professional. Casual and relaxed
The food was not good. The chicken tasted with freezer burn. The prices were over the quality and quantity. For example the curry chicken with Tax and Tip was $33, with steamed rice was $36. The Samosa was 5 Pices size of my thumb charged me with tax and tip $14. I do not recommend this resturant. They cheat you every which way. We were family of 4, paid $285. Got home I was hungry .
Very tasty lots of food to choose
Very good. Lunch specials are good deals.
Really excellent food and great service. I was definitely perplexed by the sushi/Thai combo so I ordered both and had a great experience. I am a food snob. Growing up in Berkeley and eating around the Bay and beyond, I know my Asian food well. I was really impressed by both meals. The menu is huge so I recommend you take your time to order. I opted for a simple noodle soup and some nigiri~both were great. So glad my friend recommended this place. Looking forward to returning when in town.
Tasty!
I got a crispy pork belly with papaya salad, and they gave me a platter of uncooked vegetables (onions, garlic, cabbage, bean sprouts, etc.). I didn’t know what to do with them so I only ate the pork and hard boiled egg. The papaya salad I disliked. It was a little bit too salty for me. I think I waited long for the veggie platter to come (around 20-30min). The shrimp tempura was good though and the coconut juice straight from the fruit itself. The sashimi platter looked good and yummy, but we thought it wasn’t fresh
The menu at Thai Thani features a wide variety of Thai dishes, from classic curries to more modern fusion options. There is something for everyone on the menu, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Some of the most popular dishes include the pad thai, the green curry, and the tom yum soup.
In addition to its delicious food, Thai Thani also offers a full bar with a variety of Thai beers, wines, and cocktails. The restaurant also has a happy hour from 3pm to 6pm, which is a great time to try some of the menu items at a discounted price.
Overall, Thai Thani is a great option for anyone looking for delicious Thai food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Thai Thani to anyone looking for a great Thai restaurant in Walnut Creek.
Very testy food and very nice service . Love to go there again again
Hello, love the atmosphere here, I felt the curry was too sweet, and watery, was disappointed with shrimp curry. Hopefully it will get better, Will give it one more try, order a different menu item..
Food is ok NOT wow! Very expensive. .
Food is not up to that price...i did dine in 3 times, my wife is Asian my children also did not like it.and all adults. They will not eat there.
Beautiful on the inside. Food was awesome. We ordered a few items including dessert. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for, which is great food & service. Also the dishes are served family style which is cool if you like to share. Very clean place. Wonder menu selection & variety. Would definitely come back.
I love the place food great, costumer service is great i well go back again
Take out service was great, food was great, just found it expensive with dinner for four including Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice at $127.
Good delicious restaurant. Staff very sweet and friendly. Specially Tar and Eve. Always 😀. Love the atmosphere so cozy. Try crab rangoon, poke bowl of course sushi and Thai ice tea.
Need to post another review. Simple dish but soooooo delicious. Another staff her name is Eve. Forgot to take her picture before. Another good service with beautiful smile .
Thank you very much ladies. You make my night soooooo special.
Please try this place.
Eve was Wonderful, and the Food was Great!!!
The whole experience was great! Service was fast, food was delicious, drinks were yummy, and lunch time meals were well priced (lunch portion is smaller and comes with a salad and soup but the prices match the scale. Dinner costs a little more but you also get a lot more food).
Well done! Definitely recommend this restaurant!!
Great takeout experience. I love how many vegetables come in each dish and I would definitely order a little spicier next time. Very conveniently located for me so I will definitely be ordering out here again
Came back again for some good Thai food. No disappointment! This place is a must! Also great time with fund and friendly staff “Tom and Eve”. Thanks guys!
Excellent service, the food are delicious as always.
Good food good service by Tar server
The food was simply amazing!
Never found a Thai place offering sushi before and they just nailed it, especially ‘Baked Alaska’.
My server, Guitar, was very friendly and attentive. She answered all questions and was very patient with me :)
Totally recommended and will revisit this place!
Good service! love the ambience and the foods.
Very good Thai food very good service
Me gusto mucho el servicio de Eve, Guitar, Tom, Tar Top muy buena comida
The food is amazing! And appreciate Eve, Tom and Tar Top’s service!
Guitar, Eve, and Karn were so courteous and attentive. The food came at a timely manner and there was never anything lacking at the table.
Definitely recommend for a wonderful dine in experience. The staff is so friendly, the food is fresh and accommodating, and the location is convenient.
Will come back!
We love to come here, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Eve and Tom are always smiling and they are very kind :)
Love this place. Tar and Eve are excellent servers
and great sushi by chef Top
The food is delicious and the place has great service. I have received several recommendations from Eve. She was so kind and patient with all of us. I was very satisfied and will come back again.
The food was fresh and delicious. Pahn and Tar's service was excellent - they were sweet and patient with all my questions. Definitely will be coming back.
Nice food and very good service. I recommend Spicy shrimp and Scallops .the server Gitar and Pahn very good service 🙂
Good food and the service excellent..!!! Tom the waiter by and the staff are nice and friendly..!!!
Had a great lunch here, the prawns were delicious and some of the best I’ve ever had. A big thank you to our server Tar for being so nice and making it a great experience!
My friends and I visited for dinner and the atmosphere was great. Our server Tar made the experience excellent, we will be asking for her again!
We went here for a meal and the service was outstanding! Tar the waitress was super! Food was excellent. We can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!
I’ve been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. Waiters are always courteous and provide fast service. Nice place, great food, and my favorite restaurant.
I came in for lunch unexpectedly. I was very surprised by the quality of the food. I have been to Thailand many times and found the food to be as authentic as what I had over there. The ambiance and service were fantastic. My server Tar and Phan were very attentive and cheerful. I had the green lipped mussels. Tasty! I will be back soon.
We enjoyed another great meal at Thai Thani. This time we ordered a variety of Thai and Sushi. The rolls were delicious! I love when I don’t have to ask for fresh ginger and wasabi. Tom and Tanya were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious.
The restaurant is nice and food is so delicious. The chef Mon cooking wonderful food. The server Tom and Karn so nice and take great care of us!!
Interesting for a restaurant to have both sushi and Thai yet I definetly can reccomend both. The servers (Karn, Eve and Pahn) were quick to seat me and would check on me frequently. Overall I would say it was a good experience even if theyre often busy.
Had a great experience here. Variety of options for all of us.
Very friendly staff, food was good!
They were extremely busy for the amount of staff they had and yet we were very pleased at the service and food! No complaints here - highly recommend and we will come here again.
We’ve been going here for about a year now. Today we walked in and noticed there were new menus. New menus usually mean massive price increase. This was definitely true this time. They got my order wrong and charge me for their mistake. The food was good, don’t get me wrong. but $50 plus tax for two Poke Bowls and a California Roll is unacceptable. That’s the same price he would pay at some very high-end restaurant in downtown Walnut Creek. It also took half an hour to get our food, and by the time we were finished, that was when the California roll showed up. I will not return.
Customer lost……
I don’t know who are those who gives this place 2,3 stars. I have been to Thailand twice and spent there 2 month. And this is right Thai food. Great prices and friendly team. We completely enjoyed everything. Great Tom kha, so many ingredients. All we ordered was delicious. Will come again and again.
Tried the place for the first time. I ordered it for to go. Make sure you keep your receipt for this place. I regret throwing away mine. They added a $10 dollar tip for a to go order. Very dishonest service. Pad Thai is very bland and the portions are very small compared to other restaurants. Very over priced. I had better. Never going back to this place ever again.
Instead of getting my usual order I asked the waiter what they recommend and she suggested the Massaman curry which was a tasty alternative to your regular green or red curry. We also had the shrimp appetizer and drunken noodles. Both good. The service was fast and our waiter was nice and helpful.
I ordered a poke bowl for lunch and it was very disappointing. For $15 it included only one protein (normally in any other poke place you would get 3), no vegetables whatsoever and only two types of sauce to choose from. The bowl was just pretty much majority of rice. I wouldn’t recommend.
The Masaman and Panang curries we're great, but the star of the show was the Tom Kha soup
Went there for the first time with three ladies! I ordered the poke bowl since I believed this was the fastest meal to prepare. The other orders were Thai curry and Thai appetizer sampler. My meal never came out until 40 minutes later than the others. The server never offered to correct the problem or even acknowledge the problem! My advice don’t dine in!
This place is so nice! I
As soon as you walk in it feels like your in Thailand. T
And the service is friendly and fast! . So far I've had soup and it's the best tasting I have ever had! And the yellow curry is a little sweeter than I'm use to but it's spicey and delicious,! The pineapple rice is so good! Oh my gosh you have to try this place.
Good food decent prices. Thai and sushi in one place.
Some of the best Thai food I have had, in a rather unexpected area. I have eaten the pad Thai, pad kee mao, green curry, and Panang curry here, and all have been excellent.
Our favorite for go-to Thai and Sushi! So good, always consistent! Love their Panang Curry!
Excited to try this resteraunt but unfortunately verrrry disappointed!!! In my 25 years of eating thai food never had i ate chicken satay this salty also the quality of the meat baaad!!! I also ordered the pad thai it wasn't as salty but again not good quality! I will NOT be coming back that's for sure!!!
Food was mediocre. Somewhat bland red Thai curry. Shrimp tempura rolls had soggy tempura. The service was absolutely awful. First we had to flag down the server to take our order. Then the food came out extremely slowly and all spread out. Like 10-20 minutes plus in between. Beer came out at another time, and only after we asked twice. Not once did the server check on us even after we went to the front to ask about our food. Definitely will not return and will warn everyone away.
Great food. Ordered Pineapple Fried rice and Thai Iced coffee. Great food. Amazing decore.
Ordered the chicken Satay and the BBQ Chicken Papaya Salad Combo set. Both were mediocre. The chicken of Satay was oily and fatty and the peanut sauce was oily. The BBQ chicken papaya salad wasn’t any better. The chicken looked so unappetizing. I’d never return to this place again. Sticky rice was good, but hard to screw that up.
1st time here and it was yummy. I had the miso ramen and it was great (not salty). My friend had the #49-supreme Curry and it was perfection
Omg cool place. Mix of Japanese and Thai in the same place wow can't beat it.very nice decoration.I like how there sort of two restaurants in one. The staff were very nice and professional. I had the yellow curry witch is sweet and comforting with chicken. Passed by so many times but had to check it out. No lines and a very big menu.
Understaffed wait time way too long and the food we had was very disappointing we wont go back
Pleasantly surprised to this new finding at the favorite Orchards At Walnut Creek place.

Thank you for the pleasant evening and hope to see you soon again.
An abundance of options as you can get either Thai or Japanese. The food was pretty good. Our cooked food quickly came out but the sushi took a long time and some of our party was left waiting while the rest of us dug in. They simply have a staff shortage. Some said the food was too salty, but I think the seasoning was good. I got the katsudon, lots of veggies and a big egg on top.
Excellent and fresh Thai dishes. Best summer spring rolls with peanut sauce. Extensive means. Great place for Thai food. Also do Sushi. Will try next.
Pretty good food, not busy, service was decent
Good food but not super tasty as expected. Pad Thai is a NO NO! Serving portions are on the smaller side.
Cool atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. I love the Thai sushi combination. Will be back!
it over a hour to get our sushi a great place
Very Yummy Thai and Japanese food.
Great little spot!!! Decor and ambience is great! Food tasted okay and was presented authentically. Service and prices are decent. Parking available all throughout the shopping center. 😏
Negatives: They messed up our orders for a party of 3. Wasn't the biggest fan of their Thai BBQ chicken when it was finally brought out. It was served chard and tasteless. 😩
We really like the food here. It's one of our family favorites.
Not up to par !!
Better stick to sushi only as well as Thai food only. This place can't do either one well.
Ordered Tom ka gai and fish with noodles. It was delicious.
The food was great!
The food was not very good. There was no flavor in any of the entrées. Even the noodles were bland. I was really looking forward to trying the food from here.
Really good thai spot in Walnut Creek!
I ordered their katsu curry for take out and the curry they gave me isn't the same curry thats used for this type of dish so it didn't taste right and the curry was very bland. The staff were very polite and the restaurant is very clean inside.
Amazing Thai and Japanese food. Super friendly staff, great for a bite to go, or a nice place to hang out and eat and drink.
Great place...-
Took over 30 min to make a salat and tea!!! How you want to survive in this hard time if you serving clients like this(
Best Thai in Yuba City. Got family party meal delivered during Covid, was great!
Pad Thai was bland and didn't add up to the medium spice. Maybe the kitchen was impacted by COVID
I picked up my phone orders and found out that the waiter was not wearing face mask. I even saw she served a customer without it. Not safe since you need to talk to her at close distance.
She finally put it on after I asked her to do so.
Food's OK but the service is so slow..
I've been twice. Both Thai and Japanese food is on the menu. Separate kitchens for each. I''ve tried both menus, and I have not been disappointed. One of my favorite new restaurants.
Half the menu is Thai and half is Japanese, great for parties and groups that want a lot of options. Decor is super cute and the staff is very sweet. I am looking forward to getting the phuket bucket next time!
Okay thai and sushi. Slow service. Was our 2nd choice since our 1st choice was closed.
I made an online reservation through Yelp. I do this on purpose to get good service. We arrived 5 minutes late 6:05pm Friday night. We were seated right away. However we sat there reading all the menus for 15 minutes and no one talked to us.. A drink would have been nice. Only when I waived someone down and said is anyone able to help us? Then our waiter showed up 5 minutes later. We placed our entire order. We ordered a Poke bowl, chicken satay and the seafood combo. It took a while to get our food and it finally showed up.. My wife's food arrives first then a few minutes later my seafood combo arrived. When I was almost finished my daughter's poke bowl arrived. Ridiculous plus she asked for no sauce and there was sauce on it. My daughter ate it since she was so hungry. The food was average. Nothing special. We wanted to try the fried ice cream and thought how long can that take... After looking around for our waiter we ordered. 10 minutes later we got our dessert. It was good. I asked for the check when the dessert arrived. The check showed up in less then a minute! Of course... They also took my credit card and brought back the check in a few minutes as well. So 8pm and we were done. If you read my other reviews its rare I give 2 stars. The service was so slow I may have grown a new gray hair. It's a shame since this place is so close to home. It's a BIG NO to returning.
Beautiful setting and very friendly help make it difficult to be negative about the food. The duck in coconut curry sauce was very tasty but the few "duck pieces" in it were actually overcooked pieces of skin and ligaments. The seafood soup had ample solids including good shrimps but the broth was very salty. We're not planning a return trip.
Good food! Plenty of sushi and Thai options. Service is great. Lots of parking. Been here a handful of times so far and never disappointed. Lots of parking too!!
Nice decor. Could use more servers. Decent food.
Happy hour is from 3 to 530 and the menu is good. Try the Yom Kah. Very good.
Nice place. Tasty Sushi.
Nice staff, beautiful interior, lots of choices in the menu ( maybe 60-70 for Thai and about the same for Japanese menu). If something you don't like that much ( some flavors could be strong for people not used with traditional Thai food) , next time you have lots of choices to experiment, there is something for everybody. Ask about desert options ( quite some variety too).
Delicious!
Lots of variety and the food is not great but is good!
Very good Thai food and sushi!
음식이 대체로 짜고, 면 요리는 불어서 나왔다. 여행 중 방문한 음식점 중 맛이 가장 없었음.
They customize orders if you don't want meat or egg, also most of their curries can be made with tofu instead of meat. Very good food!
Great place, friendly people, they'll deliver to the brewery next door!
they serve some of the best food I've ever had ,it was delicious g,service and some of the best shrimp fried rice I've had ever in my life, I will go back again and again and again ,I highly recommend this place for an awesome dinner and super good service experience
Ordered a yellow curry dish with an upgrade to shrimp for the protein. The girl who took my carry-out order asked how spicy I would like it. I wanted to say 10 since there wasn't a single dish too hot for me in Thailand, but went with an 8 and spicy-level-8 was perfect!! I like it hot and it was def spicy but with really great flavor!
The curry was really good, not very many shrimp though; I felt like they had to have accidentally left a few out - I'll be back to test my theory! Next time I'll dine inside - love the decorations and layout of the restaurant. Plus, it's walking distance from my office and the food came out fast - which is great for lunch!
I've eaten here about 10 times. There is a fairly large menu, that has many Thai and Japanese items, including nigiri, sashimi, and sushi. I highly recommend the yellowtail carpaccio, it has a perfect fusion taste with the sriracha and small slice of jalapeno. The Thai curries are incredible, and the sushi is just north of good. My only real complaint came this evening when I ordered the yellowtail carpaccio and got tuna instead... One small mark on a normally great place. For the price, I expect it to be exactly what I ordered, even if what I'm presented tastes good.
Food is ok, wish their flavor was bolder. A first for me to get Thai and Japanese in the same place. We tried the Thai. Another queerness is that they don't mention dessert anywhere in their menu but they tell if you ask. I had to take another star away because for some strange reason they gave us paper tissue and saucer plates rather than cloth napkins and rice plates like everyone else. It was a strange dining experience indeed! Too much wierdness for a dinner :)
Food is pretty good, but service can get challenging if they are busy. It's great if you are looking for variety and Pan-Asian cuisine options to suit different tastes. They have a ton of options! Beer selection is also better than average.
2nd visit food is great just maybe a little more attention to dishwashing?? 😁👍
Big menu but don't let that deceive you, it's all good
Love the Poke Bowls
Yoshi at the sushi bar is awesome. Great sushi with a HUGE menu. Bring a group, it's a big space with lots of outdoor seating as well. Great service and hospitality.
Nice airy place..
Stopped by here.
Great food. Price is kinda high, but the quality matches.
Thai and Japanese food offerings.
Portions were good
Plenty of space for dining inside, not so much parking nearby tho!
Staff is super friendly.
Service is fast.
Dank
Stopped by Thai Thani for a leisurely lunch and ordered the medium-spicy duck panang curry. It was fantastic! The curry was appropriately balanced with savory and spice. The vegetables were plentiful and the duck meat was high quality. The leftovers provided sufficient food for two more lunch-sized meals. I definitely recommend this option and I will certainly return to Thai Thani.
