This comfy eatery dishes out familiar Thai food, including classic curries & noodle dishes.
Hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant. There was a short wait to be seated, but once inside, service was fast. A bit too rushed, perhaps. It was clean and pretty basic, as you might expect.
We got some flat noodles with tofu, which was good, but rather oily. The red curry with red snapper was the best dish. The chicken satay was also good. The chef's special #3 was below expectations. The salmon was dry and the soup was somewhat gelatinous.
The prices were very reasonable.
Was in a hotel nearby for a few days and read reviews online. Came to small famiky owned business and so glad I did! Great fresh plates with generous amounts! Look at pictures of what we had left over! I will be returning to try their many dishes in the next couple of days! Please support this small and unique business as they deserve all the business they can get.
Beef Wellington was conspicuously absent from the laminated, aged menu at Wiring Thai Restaurant in Venice Beach. We're not in Essex anymore gentlemen. It's time for supple yellow curry and earthen pad Thai, people. An exchange takes place between the hungry and the giver, where both parties are in blazen accord and both parties part ways amicably. Now that's capitalism, with an edgy, gritty building and a "sus" back-alley parking situation.
My new favorite Thai food spot! I always order yellow curry so that’s what my review is based on. I am vegetarian so chose it with tofu. I had additional requests and they came through. I asked to make it mild and leave onions out and add vegetables too. Got everything I asked for about $15 out the door ! Sauce was thick and tasty, rice included. Atmosphere wasn’t the best but I had my food to go anyway. Waited about 15 minutes. Worth every minute and penny. We found parking in the back.
Looking for quality Thai food with great service this is your spot, the place is a bit cramped with only 5 tables. The parking is also very limited. But you will forget all of that once you try their food. We had the Pad Thai, Red Curry & Cashew Chicken. The best part is the price you can't beat the lunch specials which go till 4pm.

quintessential neighbourhood thai spot. i love dining in
WOW. Seriously the best Thai food I've ever had. And I've eaten at many many Thai places. Panang curry was super thick and creamy and delish. Pineapple fried rice, papaya salad and stir fried garlic seafood also delicious. The seafood entree had generous portions of scallops. Also, large portions. I was able to eat 3 meals on just one entree. We dined in but it's mostly a take out place. 5 stars!!!!
A quaint, delicious Thai spot. You love Thai food your love this place. It's my go to....

This is a cool place with low prices and they made the food really fast. But the taste and quality of the food was below average for Thai food. We had my staple Thai dishes: chicken panang, chicken pad Thai, and Thai tea. The quality was not great, but it still tasted good. Both my girlfriend and I felt a little unwell afterwards, but nothing crazy. I probably wouldn’t go back, but it was a good experience anyway.
The decor is a little light, but the food is excellent. Good flavor and portions, good prices, and very friendly staff. One of the better Thai restaurants in LA
5 Stars for customer service
5 stars for value.
The soups are 6 stars.
The portions are all big enough for 2.
Was a bit underwhelmed with flavors of the dishes I ordered but I would still encourage people to try as I have only gone once.
the best!!!! we get take out from then multiple times a week & it is seriously the best curry & pad thai on the block.
Great food, great portions, great prices.

The prices are good and the portions are large but the food is pretty bland. I got a noodle dish with chicken and tofu. The tofu was good but the chicken tasted a little old
You wouldn't know it, but this unassuming. Small Thai restaurant on Lincoln boulevard in Venice, California serves up some of the best Thai food you will ever eat. I had yellow curry with tofu that came with the incredible fried rice. My partner had red curry with chicken and we will definitely come back again. Amazing beautiful food
I love this Place I always Go here to the point they ask me “the usual?!” And I’m like “yes Please 🫣”
Price is right. Cheaper than other Thai restaurants, but also not as good
Some of the best Thai food and very affordable!
Everything is good
Outstanding Thai food. Very authentic. Highly recommended.
Love that they're open late. Fried rice is really good here as well as their soups.
I've been going here for over 20 years. This little hole in the wall is top notch.
Food and service was good, but man it sucks to eat while hearing/smelling cars blowing by on Lincoln, and they said they have to keep the door open because they don't have ventilation, making it worse.
Von aussen sieht es ziemlich uneinladend aus. Jedoch ist das Essen wirklich gut und vor allem extrem günstig. Würde sogar behaupten, dass es sich hierbei um den günstigsten Thai in der Umgebung handelt.

This is a little whole in the wall with amazing food & service, extremely friendly staff. We went there 10 min before closing and it wasn't a problem at all with them, food was ready to go with in 15 min. They new we were ordering for our little dog also and new Exactly How to do boiled chicken no seasoning. They treated her great when she came in with us to pick up the food. The prices seem like they haven't changed them in 10 years so Reasonable $70 food for 4-5 people.
It was so good we decided to get it again the second night in town but this time we had it delivered. We had are food in about 30 min the portions are so large we over ordered both time's 🤣 but seemed to finish it all 🤩
We love their food. Been habit it for years. Now we just take delivery.
I’ve been coming here with a friend for many many years. It’s affordable, good food, and they give good size portions. The people seem humble and nice. The ambiance needs work, but they’re not charging the overpriced rates others do, so I let it slide. I haven’t found a dish I didn’t like and they have lots of vegan options. The curries are amazing. If you want good food on a budget, it’s an awesome place for that.
2-19-24: First things first, the food - delicious, and nice size servings! The ribs, pad thai, shrimp fried rice, bbq chicken, steamed dumplings, Chinese Broccoli, & the Eggplant. Best food that I have had at a restaurant in a while! Our service was quick, we were not rushed to finish, and my party of 3 each agreed we will definitely be back. Service was attentive , and pleasant. Decor basic. Still, Wirin is a huge WIN! If you not up to cooking at home, eat here or take out; confident that you will enjoy.
Awesome food at great prices, will definitely go again
This is my FAVORITE Thai joint! I’ve tried to get something new on the menu each time I visit and I a constantly and absolutely wowed by each new dish I try! It’s soooo tasty!
This place is the most reasonably priced place I eat at hands down! Such amazing prices. You cannot get better food for cheaper, it’s just not possible! Service is local, consistent and so friendly! Tony and JJ always take the best care of me and we have pleasant chats when it’s not too busy.
This place is tiny and super quaint. They used to have sticky varnish on the tables and honestly this was the only minor complaint I could have had, but they have now refinished the tables so it’s absolutely lovely to sit and enjoy the amazing food here!
This place is an unassuming gem!!!
At first I wasn't sure cuz then decided to give it a try and soooooo glad I did. This is some of the best thai food at an amazing price that I've had.
Their shrimp egg rolls were perfectly fried with the shrimp perfectly plump and juicy! The pad see ew was seasoned and balanced then the BBQ ribs was like you were invited to the Asian cookout. Sweet, smokey, falling off the bone juicy.
I have no photos at the moment because I was too busy eating this incredible food.
You don't want to miss out on this place!
Don’t let the outdoor look fool you. One of the best thai foods I have had in a while. Must try if you are in the neighborhood!
My son and I went here on Christmas. It was one of very few restaurants open. Nothing fancy. The food is amazing. The portions are huge. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. I lt looks like I hardly ate any of it. Yummy left overs my son is a vegetarian and had the Tofu Pad Thai. He enjoyed that as well. We started out with some egg rolls. Be careful not to burn yourself on these. Ha ha. Real fresh and HOTT!!
Great food, good prices
This place is unreal. Most entrees are around $10! You would think that would mean cheap but it’s super quality and the portions are huge. What a find.
Always consistent! I’m making my way through the takeout menu during covid19. Last I had was the bbq beef and it was a treat!
😍 so good
Phenomenal Thai food. Fresh and delicious. Some of the best I've had. Service is slow at times and the atmosphere is merely acceptable. However the exception food more than makes up for these shortcomings and if you're getting take-away these issues are irrelevant. I've dined in three times and it's well-enough. Don't pass up the food; it's GREAT.
I was here over 10 years ago was good in the day, they advertice open until 11pm, I went with friends at 9:30pm recently and they said they'll close at 10pm and only for take out at that time. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD UPDATED THEIR WEBSITE, its very misleading and we could have gone somewhere else instead from the get go
Everything was really tasty! Egg rolls, curry, mixed veggies, ribs. And they were really nice to us even tho we came in right before the kitchen closed
the pad thai is so good and the prices are affordable :) grateful I ate here
We ordered red curry, green curry, dumplings, two different fried rice and noodles. Everything was delicious and the service was soo fast! Tony was a great host.
I can't say a thing bad about this wonderful Tiny restaurant. Delicious food, Served fast from a kind staff. I've dined in and taken out Several times and on every occasion, my order was fast and thorough.
The Best Thai food and at a good price on the west side.
Went there today at 6:50pm and it wasn’t open.
A gem of a find in Venice and incredible value. The food is really good as well.
It's a small, run-down looking mom and pop place, and only has a few booths, but it's clean, the food is delicious and the portions are generous. Definitely recommend.
The best Tom Kha in the area. Great food, can't recommend enough.
The parking situation could be better, but that describes pretty much every place in Los Angeles. I've found places with better parking, but the food just isn't on the same level.
The atmosphere is "average, authentic takeout spot with a dining area". Have I seen more polished Thai places? Sure. Is the food as good? Absolutely not. Not even close. No disrespect, but you can have all the saltwater fishtanks you want, I'm still going to pick the place that serves the best food, and so far, Wirin Thai is the winner in my book.
Loved this spot, great food, nice service
We’ve lived on the west side for nearly 6 years now and this is our go to spot. The yellow curry is UNBEATABLE! The portions are huge, the prices are affordable, and they deliver too. This is one of those spots that I always make my friends and family get when they visit town and we want a chill night in. Give ‘em a try!
Super tiny spot near Venice Beach. Very delicious Thai food, very reasonable price. We lucked out being able to park nearby, but would definitely recommend!
Super fast, friendly, and delicious! The prices are great too.
Others are correct: the ambiance is not exactly luxurious, but the food is on point.
Pineapple fried rice was tasty and did have some curry notes. Panang curry was delicious. Noodle with mint (added broccoli) was good too / was similar to Pad see ew, though i would not recommend the beef with it as it was fairly flavorless.
Would come back!
The restaurant has great food, but the inside is so gross that I got up and left. Mrs would not have been happy dining here.
That Bomb bomb, Super Fire is the review for this place!!! The Yellow Curry, mixed in with the Pad Thai and Pork Fried Rice is my mouths'
new safe place🫠The Seafood Soup not spicy is fresh with an amazing broth. BBQ Chicken and Honey BBQ ribs are KILLER GOOD!!
Great Prices so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife and I forgot to take pictures of the dishes when they arrived because they smelled so good we just started eating everything like barbarians. The portions also rightly presupposed we were starving and even then we had to take some leftovers home. My wife is also really picky and even she loved the flavors. We decided this is our new Thai spot!
Good, affordable Thai food. Some dishes amazing, some dishes so-so. Loved the duck!
Good, delicious and cheap.
Best Tom ka soup in LA.
Muy rica la comida y muy buen servicio
The outside of the restaurant is a little run down with graffiti on the sign, but don’t let that stop you. We ordered the orange chicken and pineapple fried rice, both of which were delicious. The pineapple fried rice had more of a curry flavor than expected but was still delicious.
I will definitely order from here again and am excited to explore the menu.
Food is great. Price is great. People are nice. Love this place.
This place is great, really happy to have stumbled upon it. Big fan of Thai food and can confirm that everything we had was really fresh and used excellent quality ingredients. Plus, their portions are huge for a really reasonable price that you don’t see anymore in LA these days.
Attentive and kind service, small restaurant with free parking on lot. Definitely recommend if you want casual, great Thai food that’s wallet-friendly and will leave you with delicious leftovers/next day’s lunch!
The hidden gem of Venice. Best food best service and half the price of the aggressively mediocre places on rose
Amazing food and service..
Seriously, this place is soooooo good. My favorites are Pad Thai w/ Shrimp, Pork and Green Beans and their yellow curry with chicken is awesome. I tend to place this same order every time because I can't get enough but I'm sure everything on the menu is great. They are nice, quick, clean and affordable on top of it. Love it this place.
Good ole Venice Thai Spectacular!
Great food! Really very good! But everything else was below normal. Dirty floor, a pile of junk stuff on one of the tables. The receipt was for money than their menu prices. My husband didn’t want to check it in details, but we all were disappointed with such an inaccuracy. Also portions are not that big, as many people wrote here.
The iced milk tea is the best thing on the menu. The spicy chicken wings are a waste of time...straight from freezer and into the fryer, then dump in sauce. The soup is creamy, but no real taste of anything no lemon grass or cilatro just a lot of mushrooms and shrimp. They do take the gi track out of the shrimp here at least (they over cook the shrimp). The rad na with 2 different brocolis does not improve the taste...the gravy is soupy thin with no real taste. The yellow curry was creamy again no taste. This crab cakes tasted old and not fresh, where is the plum sauce not with my order the whole thing was disappointing and sad tasting.
Where are the chili oil, vinagar, fish oil and sugar? Boo
This place is perfect for people who are afraid of different spices and taste. The blandist thai food place i have ever had.
The iced thai milk tea though was the best i have ever had! Too bad though waste of time and still hungry.
Not only the shytest thai resturant but also the rudest people. This is a joke resturant ran by sad people who cant cook, not even their nations dishes.
Had not been to Wirin in awhile, got the vegetable soup with tofu on Friday the 13th, it was amazing, very healthy, not salty, lots of vegetables , way better than other Thai places in the neighborhood for half the price . Will be back.
Delicious tofu, waveguide dumplings and seafood noodle
Great food and portions are generous. Incredible service and atmosphere.
Wirin Thai has some of the best Thai food you will find in the City and for a super reasonable price. It is a little place with only a few booths. Most people either have their food delivered or they call and pick up, but we love eating there. Because most people do take away, there is usually a place to sit in this little gem.
Don't let the exterior fool you. It had the cutest cat mural on it and some idiots decided to tag it and the sign. This little place has been struggling since Covid and they are not going to put money right now into replacing the sign, which was so nice.
The service is just great. Everyone is so nice. This is a family owned business. They have a great menu and their lunch specials are great. There is nothing we have had there that we don't like and I think we have pretty well completed the menu.
They have these great egg rolls with shrimp, and they are not little Bay shrimp, but nice big shrimp stuffed into an eggroll. Their Pad Thai is amazing and we really love their BBQ duck rice. All the soups are good.
You will love this place. Parking is on the street and you will find a spot. It is little, so don't miss it, right on the corner of Venice Blvd. and Lincoln in Venice, CA.
Try it.
Food is great!!
So much delicious food! Portions are generous, Pad Thai and Panang Curry were fantastic. Best for takeout, ambiance inside wasn’t great but this is my new go-to! Thank you!
Worst Thai food ever.
Our favorite Thai near Marina del Rey. Love the Green Curry & Choo Chee Curry is delicious too.
Most creamy Tom Kha I ever tried in LA, a lot of lime flavor, loved it😍
Most creamy Tom kha ever!
I eat here. . Good food. No attitude. = Happy Man !😀🖐️
food is delicious! great flavor.
Great food, and great portions for the price. Food came out quick too. Low-key spot
Great food and good portions!
very happy with the food.
Great food
Best curry in town!!
Great food, great prices but I used to eat inside until Covid and it was nice (except a little too bright). Now they allow eating in on one side of the restaurant but unfortunately, the view is a pile of boxes and junk on the opposite side of the room. If they'd only clean it - there's really not much to tidy up but it looks terrible, especially when you're there to eat. When I asked if they'd do something, a lady replied "oh no, no, no!" - people are strange!
Awesome food
Еда не дорогая, вкусная, порции большие. Когда голоден самое то
Good food and really Thai run
Very fresh ingredients, wonderful authentic preparations, great value for the real deal.
This place is fire. And cheap. You don’t see that enough these days. Send it.
We’ve been ordering from here and visiting since we moved here 30 years ago. It is awesome in spirit and fabulous food!
This place always hits 'the spot' and their customer service is way better than most other thai restaurants as well. It's refreshing.
Parking is a little tight, but definitely give this place some business when you have a thai food craving.
Fair prices as well! Hard to go anywhere around LA and find an entree for under 10 dollars. Thanks Wirin Thai!
Just found the best spot on the westside!! Wait! What???? And they have pre pandemic prices!?!? How is this possible?!?! Lol
This place might not look esthetically pleasant, but the food was amazing!
If you are looking for a good take out spot I definitely recommend getting something here! Prices are fair!
Лапша Pad Thai вкусная и большая порция, но рестораном это конечно врядли назовёшь.
Really disappointing experience. The food was all clumped together and didn’t have any vegetables. They were also very rude over the phone.
Pineapple fried rice: 4/5
Spring rolls: 4/5
Pad Thai: 3/5
Amazing food, great service and accommodating staff members
Affordable, delicious Thai selection.
Hidden away at near the intersection of Venice Blvd and Lincoln is this tiny spot. It’s great for takeout but eating in is crowded and small. It’s location is terrific. I had the pad Thai, sate, BBQ ribs and spring rolls. I ate in and was annoyed our watier was on the phone taking orders. To be quite frank the pad Thai was bland!
Wirin Thai is not “Temporarily Closed” this mom and pops restaurant is still up and running. Not only do they provide excellent customer service but they also have numerous amazing and satisfying dishes to choose from. Wirin Thai has been my go to spot for the past 5 years.
Seafood soup 🔥🥵 my go to 🤩
Small place looks like more suited for take out. We did dine in, but we're the only one's in the restaurant the entire time. No bathroom for customers, and no alcohol except some type of foreign beer. All food was excellent except the chicken satay, which was rubbery. Curry dishes and soup, all very flavorful and fresh.
Not good food at all, owner really nice person but food is bad, if you want great thai food go to thai town!
best thai on the west side hands down. they usually make things spicy which is awesome and rare! their Tom yum is fantastic, rad na, fried rice, pad see ew!
Oh my God, we stopped going here because we have this running joke, we're in the bathroom... we always came back because the food was so good but it's not worth the food poisoning that comes with it. Every. Time. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable please do better. I absolutely adore the food here but not accompanied with food poisoning sorry
Inexpensive. Won't come again.
Everything about this place is amazing. Delicious food, affordable prices, friendly staff and extremely fast order times
Delicious fresh food and great service for very reasonable prices. This is a great local spot, nothing fancy but very good.
Highly recommend the steamed dumplings and the pad see ew noodles
Our favorite Thai outside of “ThaiTown East Hollywood”
Absolutely the best Thai food I've ever had. I always get the yellow chicken curry!
Really authentic, mouthwatering Thai food. Very clean and quick service.
My partner and I get takeout from Wirin every week. This is the best Thai place around! We love the spicy mint noodles, pad thai, curries, and sautés. Flavor is amazing and portions are huge!
Venice raised !! Really
pricey they are an amazing Thai restaurant cashew nut chicken delicious especially with some peanut sauce but they tax so much for it a dollar something for a little saucer of peanut sauce that's why I landed on 2stars I'm a repeating customer spending over 20$ each time I think peanut sauce should be free.
Best Thai food in area large portions very kind and friendly staff
Ok thai food
Affordable, hearty and fresh food for students!
So we just got to Los Angeles after 3 days of driving from Miami Florida and we need some authentic food. Living in Marina del Rey, Google Maps points me to a Thai restaurant nearby. In our house we always say trust Waze and trust Google so we drove over to check it out.
Only one person or group is allowed in the front door at a time to order. It seems that ordering ahead of time online will save you 10 to 15 minutes. Once you order you step back outside and wait. The gentleman will bring you your order as soon as it is ready.
They do not have massimon, which is a bummer because it is my favorite Thai curry. However I tried the pumkin, which may or may not be related to a pumpkin of Halloween fame. It was absolutely delicious. Just the right balance of sweet and savory. I specifically went after the vegetable version of this because we had three days of eating garbage and drive-thrus and my body was craving some vegetables. I actually think I got the best dish possible for this particular curry.
I also strongly recommend the boba drink of the day. It is very reasonably priced and extremely tasty.
Great prices! Huge servings! Food is fresh, but VERY bland. Can't really recommend - surprised about the overall 4.5 rating - more like 3.5. Has an MSG after taste.
El lugar es muy sencillo, pero la atención y comida delicioso.
Se puede comer muy bien por menos de $15 p/p.
So yummy!
This is the best Thai food I've ever had. I've been to probably 30 spots all around Los Angeles and this is number one. Best yellow chicken curry of all time. Wish I didn't live so far away.
Love it! Best Thai in WLA!
Good food 👍
Best Thai spot around. Not only are their portions huge and delicious but great priced and always fast friendly service
Had dinner with my girlShe likes Thai foodI do notBut I must sayIt was delicious. We sat down in the parking lot at 8On a parking curb
Food Poisoning!!!
I used to like this place a lot. But it all changed yesterday.
My husband is still sick after eating their Pad Z-Ew with shrimp.
He is feeling super bad, and I would like to warn others.
This definetly was our last time to order from Wirin Thai
Good like always ☺️😊
I love coming here and never had a bad experience. Good prices especially in an area so gentrified it's such a relief to get some fresh food at a normal price. I have ordered curries, soups, salads, dumplings, fish cake, thai tea. Everything has always tasted great. My food is always ready within 10 or 15 minutes. It's my go to place for takeout in the Venice area.
The Meeb Krob was delicious, unique, and diverse and was under $6 and the FBI made my night. Yum.
We honestly get takeout from here like once per week! The food is consistently good, fresh, and hot (temp). I have no idea how it compares to authentic Thai cuisine, but I always enjoy it. Employees are great as well!
