For our main course, we enjoyed the yellow curry with chicken and chicken skewers with peanut sauce. The curry was rich and flavorful, loaded with tender chicken and fresh veggies, while the skewers were grilled to perfection, with a heavenly peanut sauce that added the perfect touch.

I have been frequenting this location for decades. It was originally a Thai BBQ location presently it is now Coco Thai Kitchen. They definitely renovated the place. The location no longer has the iconic salt water fish tank and the little water fall aqua feature by the entrance. It now has a quaint cozy living space Vibe. The staff informed me that the menu was based off the previous establishment. I then promptly ordered my favorites, fried wonton, Black pepper garlic chicken extra sauce and the BBq Chicken. I just want first say that the service was warm and attentive. That said, when they told me that they tried to remain true to the previous menu, let's just say it was a little hit or miss. The chicken was delicate and juicy but lacked the crispness exterior wise. The signature honey bbq sauce was on point. The garlic pepper chicken sauce lacked the black peppercorn bits which gave the sauce a nice tangy kick. Also the fried wonton used a different filo that did not have the signature air bubbles giving the wonton a fried texture. All in all its a good meal. I hope to come back and try maybe some dishes I have not tried yet.

More French cafe, without the Paris element. Cheerful and mellow. The food was spicier than our usual haunts, but GOOD! (We like spicy). Great service topped it all off.

Our new favorite thai! was scared to try because far from my house, and few reviews, but absolutely excellent! the tom kha soup is the best I've had, and there are some authentic options like salt mackeral rice and gua cling. beef is so tender in the curries, and the curry isn't all watery. Alex offers great recommendations too! highly recommend to give it a try. Like it better than Anantra thai, exotic thai, and thai fusion bistro

Among the valley's top dining destinations. What an amazing location. Extremely relaxed, ideal ambience, and outstanding meal quality. This is a place you should come investigate. In particular. Dinner was for me pork chops, yellow curry, and a Pho Taek sea soup. Wow, what a fantastic location. I sincerely suggest it.

We used to love this place when it was under the previous ownership and it was called Coconut Thai Cuisine. I ordered dinner to go and not a single item out of my order tasted good, except the soup. The Pad Thai smelled funky and was awful, bland and tasteless. My husband, who is not a picky eater, literally spit out the first bite and refused to eat it again. The Hawaiian curry with shrimp that I requested very very mild, almost not spicy, was actually pretty spicy and didn’t taste like coconut milk at all! The fried rice accompanying the satay was the worst fried rice I have ever tasted in my life. The crab Rangoon was not good and smelled like old oil. Tom Yum soup was alright, I guess the best out of all we ordered. We paid over $100 and we are very disappointed. Will not return and I don’t recommend this restaurant. You are better off with Thai Fusion or Anantra down the street.

Friday night, friend & I looking for a Thai restaurant. Both of us never been here before. Place is clean and inviting. The Chef came over to us, described all the dishes for us. I told the Chef , I do not eat meat and he said everything can be prepared with tofu and vegies. I tried the Pai see, very fresh, lots of tofu and delicious. Friend had chicken noodles, also yummy!
We sat talking for hours as the atmosphere is so pleasant.
I will return to try lunch special

This is our first time here after driving by many times saying we wanted to stop as check it out especially being super close to where we live. I normally dont do reviews but felt compelled to do so after trying their food. The first thing i noticed aside from the many people that were dining was how clean and comfy it was. The server was so kind and so attentive we almost felt like royalty. We ordered appetizers of dumplings and egg rolls...soooo tasty and curry chicken, spicy seafood soup and bbq pork as entrees. 5 stars doesnt even do this place justice, id put 10 stars if i could!

Love love love this place! I've been coming here for over 10+ years when they were formally Thai BBQ, but then I moved cities and came back when they changed it to Coco Thai Kitchen. They are just as amazing as they were before & the owners are so sweet and are always a pleasure to speak to. I highly recommend this place!

Ordered delivery and they forgot simple things like dumplings. It was my first and last time ordering from this place. I still have the bill for food that I never received.

The mango in their sticky rice is canned! They said thats what they use and not a tradiotional fresh mango. I called in and they gladly obliged for a refund. Pad see ew was bland and their garlic shrimp was in broth. Som tum is bland too. I frequent thai cuisine from Thailand itself so maybe this is an isolated case but Im def not going back for seconds.

The actual place itself is a chill atmosphere. Decorations are nice, definitely good vibes. The appetizers are good, specifically we enjoyed the calamari, shrimp roll, and spring rolls. Service is fast and they're nice. The sweet and spicy sauce that came with the rolls was also super good. Definitely would come again 🤗.

This restaurant is one of my absolute favorites. My wife and I both love it! We don't live in L.A. anymore, but every time we visit, we make sure to visit this place. The BBQ Chicken is super good, and so is the beef panang curry. I seriously recommend this restaurant!

Twice I ordered to this fabulous Thai BBQ Restaurant and twice I wasn't given a side salad to my Pad Thai order and my 2nd order of sauteed Ginger Garlic w/ choice of meat (pork 1st & chicken 2nd) was missing the small steamed rice that I did not noticed in my 1st order that's part of the meal that I added in my repeat order but wasn't included in the delivery. If the online menu have those items, the preparer did not take note of that and so 1 less star is taken off from my overall rating. It's better to update the online menu and make parts of a set meal's order as not required but optional. My housemate pointed those points to my attention and others should inquire about them before ordering.

This place has been here for a while now. So I don't understand why they are so doggone frugal with the soy sauce and hot sauce .
One: you have to ask for it.
Two: when you ask they give you one of each.
I felt embarrassed to ask for more. I usually use three soy and at least two hot sauce depending on what sauce they have.
And worst of all...... THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CHILI OIL SAUCE! THATS A CRIME!

One of the best Thai food places I have ever been to. I mean really good food and not over spiced to cover on something else. Glad to 5 stars this restaurant. Had great time and very good food. Horrible service. The old man that works there flipped me off after I told them they messed up my entire order. If I can give them negative five stars I would and I've been coming here for years, however I couldn't believe the level of mistreatment I I received this time. I ordered delivery & not one item in my entire order was correct. When I came to return it they didn't honor anyting that was wrong.

The owner was super friendly and joking with us while we got seated and ordered. The chicken was delicious and tender, especially for the lunch deal price! The sauce (served on the side) wasn't even necessary since the chicken was cooked so perfectly, but it was a tasty addition to the meal. I ended up forgetting my debit card, and the staff held onto it for me until the next day! A great experience. Will definitely be back!

I went here two weeks ago while traveling with a friend. My phone had died and I had to call my kids and I asked if I could plug my phone in and was told no in such a rude manner. I asked my friend if she could take her food to go so we could leave sooner. The staff proceeded to yell at me and say that I could leave the restaurant. I told them I didn't feel treated well as a customer and would write a review and they said they did not care! Would not recommend this place.

I didn't really care for it but I ate most of it because I was hungry. Just kind of blan.

Last time I ordered here, I ordered off Postmates. I don't know if they left the paste out or whatever out, but it tasted old, and like if someone were to leave food out overnight. The rice was off too. I don't think they like me too much. There's an air of entitlement here, and I've felt like never ordering from here again. I thought they were my forever Thai, and I was glad to give them my money for their use to-be delicious food. I will continue to look elsewhere. I ordered the Green Curry Shrimp. I feel like I'm bothering them with ordering something from here. I liked their food and would've ordered and supported their business, but now that I've seen some of the reviews, I know they're a bit rude. I will definitely look elsewhere for better service and better attitudes!

The food I've had from here was good, but I don't like their rules for inhouse dining. Their restaurant was almost completely empty on a Saturday night and they wouldn't let my 2 year old sit at the table next to the fish tank because there was only 4 of us and they said the table is for 5 or 6. There were 3 other empty tables for 5 or more people so it's not like they would have lost any business. He wasn't being annoying or obnoxious and I wasn't being rude. They just adamantly refused. So I walked out and won't be back. There are too many restaurants in LA with good food and friendly, accommodating service to waste your time here.

Pretty good thai place nearby. It's not amazing but it does the job to satisfy my cravings when I want thai food that I can literally walk to. My friends love the vegetarian options. She usually gets drunken noodles with tofu and no fish sauce or the spicy vegetarian soup. Overall it's great n fairly priced.

I have been eatting thai bbq ever since my daughter was born, back in 1988, but at the one in Cerritos. Their s-1 is pretty consistent in every location. I happened to be passing through town, it's been about 2 years, and its the first place i wanted to eat, while in town. Such good food. Service was super fast and polite. I ordered to go. And they were next to closing. Whew. I made it. About to grub. Can't believe i wrote this first. Took pixes and posted the Tarzana location, and added their website.
