Great fresh sushi. The owner is always present and friendly. He takes great pride in providing the very best. He is the sushi chef. The combination of sushi and Thai food is perfect for our family.

2/3/24 in the afternoon Me and my husband took 2 of our friends to this place. The food was good but the service has to be great also and it's was not. The male worker that was was serving our table , I brought to his attention the fact that my Thai boba milk with coconut milk was curdled. The milk was definitely bad. I asked him to take a look at it and he asked me if I shaked it( very insulting to ask and adult)which was not possible in a plastic cup, then he asked me if I stirred it. At that point he made it clear he was not going to replace it so I said I will pay for it. He did not offer once to replace my drink. AND YES HE CHARGED ME FOR BOTH DRINKS. I def left the gross drink on the table. We spent over 100$ at this place and customer service was a let down..

First time at Thai Thai, March 2024 for lunch. The decor was quaint and pretty. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. Went for lunch and started with the sampler appetizers- they were hot, fresh and delish- forgot to take a picture until we had eaten some. I ordered the Pan Woon Sen with shrimp with a 1 level spice - I'm not experienced with Thai spice levels- next time I'll try a 2 or 3. The Pad Woon Sen was tasty and a generous portion with plenty of shrimp. We also ordered sushi which was fresh with crispy veggies and fresh seafood. I would dine here again. Food was flavorful and fresh, service and atmosphere were great.

Everything was delicious! I'd never had a Thai tea before but the waitress suggested it and it was so yummy! I might try it with boba next time since I've never had that either. She gave me an option on the spiciness level (1-10 with 3 being medium) which I thought was cool! I got a 4 and it had a nice kick to it. Very tasty food and adorable decor. Great pricing. I'll definitely be going back and trying other items but I would 100% eat that Pad Thai every day if I could haha

Returned for happy hour with friends, the food is just incredible. This time we ordered edamame, gyoza, pad see ew, spicy Thai basil, green curry, Thai iced coffee, and a bottle of wine. We had a great time, spent $60 and came home with tons of leftovers

Normally I do not leave reviews but we love Thai food and this was terrible. We got the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Both had a mixture of very artificial flavors and also not being flavorful. The tofu was also not tasty. We wouldn't ever go back again. My dish had two hairs as well. Not good food sadly :(

Love this place! Great rolls in East County. Our daughter also loves eating here. We continue to visit this spot and continue to get great service and food. The latest visit, they accommodated 5 small kids and 4 adults without blinking!

Best garlic edimame EVER!

The place feels really home like and I loved the food and service. Workers are really nice and especially loved how their food tastes. Their curry is absolutely amazing and love how they would create cute designs with their rice when serving it. Place is also clean and it might be small but the food is worth it.

Don’t get me wrong, this place has great food. Good location. But the customer service experienced today from the employees and the owner to my friend just was not right. They gave her the wrong order and in an effort to not have the meal sent back and tossed out (to save food being that world hunger is an issue), she asked for a small discount just for the inconvenience, and instead of being understanding, the manager and owner came back and scolded my friend for not giving the meal back. It’s very unfortunate as I did enjoy this location, but out of solidarity for witnessing a friend being treated poorly, I cannot fathom giving this establishment 5 stars anymore.

Excellent Spicy Fried Rice.

I'd seen this place in this tiny strip mall for many years, but never stopped by. Today while driving by I said to my girlfriend, "we should eat there some day." She replied with, "that day could be today." So we stopped by and decided to check it out. Glad I did, because the duck curry I ordered was probably the best duck curry I've ever had. And that includes when I ate it in actual Thailand too!

This is the best "Thai" Curry I have ever had. I've had this chain of food near Oceanside a long time ago and remember it being pretty good but I don't remember it tasting this good. I got yellow curry with the seafood combo and although it cost quite a bit more than the other types, I'd still say it was well worth it. I got mine as a pickup order and there was probably enough curry for about 2 servings and 1 serving of rice. I also ordered the sweet mango sticky rice which was kinda pricey for a desert, but once again, worth the price for the size and quality.

Thai Thai roll was amazing! Love this place. My wife orders takeout once a week.

The chicken satay is so good, you can make a meal out of it. Just add a side of their perfect jasmine rice!

I just ordered Thai Boat Noodles Soup, It my favorite manu. And I recommend it when you come to this restaurant>>> It tests like original.

Definitely a no go restaurant. I don’t know why it is a 4.5 rate on Google which makes me choose to give it a try. BBQ chicken we ordered was raw, the sushi roll we get came with some froze tuna that has a strong bad rotten meat taste which made us decide to end the meal. Please if you don’t want to get sick, don’t come to this restaurant. Their service is fine, it is just their food. By the way, we did pay our bill so the review is my genuine suggestion!

We ordered to go for lunch today. My usual restaurant is closed Tuesdays so I was hoping for an alternate. This is NOT it. They didn't put sauce in with the fresh rolls, they didn't pack any sauce for anything - not even soy sauce. They didn't put napkins or silverware in with the to go order. The spicy basil was not spicy at all. It was bland. So incredibly disappointed.
I think I will wait until Busy Bee is open and eat there from now on. Forget Thai Tuesday!

So, anyone that has lived in Santee for a while knows this place. It changed from Oishis during the pandemic to Thai Thai. We stopped in right after they reopened and it was strictly Thai food. We were disappointed as I'm sure many people were. This place was a hot spot back in the early 2000s for people to party and have some great sushi. Well, I guess enough people complained and Oishis is back, better than ever. You will not find better sushi, believe me.

Super solid food. Spice level depends on their mood regardless of how spicy or mild you want it 😂. The staff are super friendly and I haven't had a bad meal yet. The duck curry and flat noodle dishes are always a win.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the portion size of their curry is half the size as other Thai restaurants in Santee, but still priced the same. You get way less for the money here. The uniqueness about this restaurant though is that they also have sushi rolls. Their menu is quite extensive.

The Oishi Sushi chef is back to create indulgences for sushi lovers. I am not into sushi myself, but everyone I've been here with (including my Asian friends) says their sushi is top-notch. I LOVE the spicy edamame! I LOVE the Pad Thai as well as several other dishes I've tried here. The Sticky Rice with Mango is delicious as well. Who would have thought Santee could have such a gem?!

Unassuming, simple restaurant in a strip mall. Staff was friendly, though somewhat disengaged during the dining experience. Food was prepared quickly. Prices are very reasonable, portions are sufficient.

Pad Thai was flavorful, perfect level of spice (Medium) and Chow Mein was solid. A nice option for Thai food in Santee.

We've been going to this restaurant for many years. The food is delicious, the restaurant staff always greets everyone with a welcome and a thank you for coming when you leave. We mostly eat the curries and sushi.

Ive only had the drunken noodles. Spicy lvl 6 is freakin spicy. Tried lvl 5 still spicy, but not as bad as 6. 4 is probably the sweet spot. Solid taste.

It’s decent quality but if you order here don’t expect them to be punctual. Every time I’ve ordered a single curry dish online, it isn’t ready for 15+ minutes after the expected time. This has happened to me 3 times in a row and I will never order from here again.

Love the food

It has been a longtime since we've come here. With the name change from Oishi to Thai Thai, didn't know it was the same place. We are so glad it is. Same owners and Mike is back doing the sushi. The Thai food is delicious and we love the great flavors. We live in North Park and will drive here for this great combination.

Ordered chow mein and fried rice. The Fried rice smelled and tasted expired: bitter. Not flavourful, vegetables were sour, not good at all. But still decided to eat it since spent $13 on each dish. The following morning went back to it and smelled horrible, eventhough was in the fridge overnight. I am 100% sure that they sold me expired food. Never going back. I am sorry but this is not ok. Not referring family or friends there.

This venue used to be super attractive when they had the sushi crew there ... It was very welcoming and a great local restaurant that served exquisite cuisine. Now it just seems like they're going through the motions ... The food from the kitchen in the back is okay but they don't seem to go above and beyond.

This place is SERIOUSLY THE BEST THAI FOOD IN SAN DIEGO! Hands down! Good service? Yes but I mean the food is ALWAYS ON POINT!! The complexity of Thai flavors is all there in every dishes. I just loveeee loveee this place. What a gem! I didn’t take a picture because every time the food arrives I can’t help but dive in immediately LOL

The spicy edamame was really good, the rest was a hot mess. Also, no it was not busy.
1.The bacon scallops were garnished with hot sauce and yellow mustard. So I hope you like mustard.
2.The waitress put in orders for us that we didn't order and charged us for them. My dad ordered a California roll, but they also added a vegetable roll (did not order) on the same plate. He was confused but the waitress said it was right. Me and my bf also only ordered 1 roll but were given a second roll of the one we asked for. We were trying to figure out whats going on but thought it was maybe a remake of the roll we did order because the first was awful. It was a crunchy roll, but the crunchy parts were stale.
3. The waitress didn't bring my dad's drink until we were asking for the check, she just kept forgetting.
4.We asked for the check multiple times. The waitress kept coming back without it even after boxing up my dad's leftovers. So we were just sitting there waiting to leave for a while.
5.My bf paid with with his card, but the waitress didn't know what she was doing. We got tired of waiting so my bf just walked up to the counter. She kept telling him his card wasn't working, but instead of hitting the skip button on the machine for the tip part so it could be written in, she just kept canceling the transaction (saying the card was bad). So he was arguing with her to just type the tip in since he was right there. She was telling him he's wrong and ended up still putting 0.00 into the tip section and when it printed out she looked at him and said "no tip?" So we still had to pull out cash instead. (I don't care if the service was bad, always tip something)

Nice atmosphere with a very attentive staff. Portion sizes are large and filling. Flavorful dishes. Highly recommend.

The flavors from the food here is as close as I have had to Thailand in the US. Will be willing to drive from La Jolla to Santee for this. That speaks volume.

P.S. Spice level 4 was the limit for us. Anything more than that, we'd sweat bullets. However less than that would make the flavors disappear ie bland. So 4 is the perfect sweet spot for most of us.

If you want overpriced garbage then this is the spot for you! I called in an order last night she told me it would be at least 30 mins which was fine, so I get there 35 mins after placing my order my food was sitting on a table and lol of it was cold. I ordered an entree which hardly had any meat in it a soup that was small for it price and a dessert that was rice and mango. It came out to $47 I couldn’t believe it. Never again will I come to this place…. First and last time eating here.

Though it was a Friday, being New Years Eve day they did not have the lunch specials. But for us, the main menu has more variety and we always get another meal or two with the leftovers. I love the duck here. Very flavorful. So it was Kee moa with duck for me and my lady got the Mussaman curry with chicken.

Though we haven't tried the newest Thai place by Home Depot, this is the best Thai we've had of all the others in town. Thai Thai is our go to.

Our first time there was a very positive experience and we can't wait to go back. The spring rolls were fresh and solid, even though I'm not a huge raw veggie fan. The red curry (tofu) was flavorful. But the real star of the show was the Pad Thai (tofu). It was the best we've ever had. I could eat that every week. The prices were very reasonable, and the servers were attentive and friendly.

Lunch specials are start from $8.99 to $13.99 for seafood from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.Generous proportion with great Thai tastes with fresh ingredients. Tom Yum Soup Noodles were magnificent. SomTum or papaya salad was great and make you want to come twice. Thai Ice Tea with Boba in large size and only $5. We're dine in with 4 people and still can not finish the meal. Great service.

Delicious!! My mother and I are Thai trainees. I like spicy, so I thought a #6 might be moderate. The wisdom of the waitress led her to order #5 and bring more spices to the table if I chose. My dish was perfect - didn't need to add spice. My mother's assortment of seafood was perfect. Maybe a little sweet, but she was delighted. Very happy with choosing Thai Thai for our lunch!
