Stopped by at this place for lunch when we visited Santa Cruz boardwalk. Food was delish.

We ordered the following items:
1. Pineapple fried rice - loved it
2. Green curry with chicken - loved it, ordered mild but it was still a little bit spicy
3. Pad Thai with chicken - my kids ordered it and they loved it. It was a bit on the sour side for me

We came here with our friends and family after our daughter's graduation ceremony. This is a small place but they were able to accommodate 12 of us. There was no reservation but when we reached here we were the first ones and they set the table for us. We ordered green curry with beef which was yum, red curry with chicken, basil beef fried rice, pad Thai noodles, chicken fried rice and sticky rice with mango and fried ice cream for dessert. We did order hot sake and Thai ice tea as well. Service is good, food is tastier and delicious. Do visit here if you happen to be in this area at Santa Cruz. It is a Female run business it seems like I didn't see any guys here who were at the cashier, server or helper.

Santa Cruz is not a good town for Thai takeout, and this is the worst of a bad bunch.

I had pad Thai and my lady had the massuman curry and the food was exquisite. The service on the other hand.. after we ordered our food we were left without drink refills for 20 minutes, and then when we finally got the bill the waitress had a huge attitude about giving us to-go boxes. The restaurant itself was so small, I could barely hear myself think because everyone was talking quite loud. I was also stuck at a table against the wall and being a wider individual, had no arm space. The table was also lopsided. Would probably prefer to just order to-go food if I came out.

We went inside 5 minutes after they opened for dinner and the place was almost full. It seems, for a reason: excellent food for very reasonable price. We had Tom Kha, curry and crispy noodles. Liked everything, will surely come back!

The veggie fried rice had very few vegetables,
Pad thai was not that great, the veggie curry we ordered tasted more like Chinese food than Thai food.

I would not go back here the next time.

Ordered Tom Kha soup, pad Thai and fried rice (all with tofu and veggies). So dang few tofu in all dishes and the food had an odd taste. Would certainly not order from here again if this is the quality it typically is.

Khao soi (crispy noodle curry) was excellent!

We stopped in for some Thai food which was fairly solid. We ordered the chicken satay, pad see ew chicken, eggplant with tofu, and brown rice. Service was hospitable and quick, food was fairly priced. Appreciated ample parking.

Best Thai food in town! I don't eat a lot of take out, but I find myself buying food from here frequently! Love the green curry and the pumpkin curry.

Arrived as recommended by a buddy and performed admirably. The staff members are amiable and supportive when describing the food. The dinner arrived hot, fresh, and deliciously quickly! And that was a very large piece.

Cute little place with fantastic food. The simplicity of the Ginger veg soup, and the rich taste of Massaman curry made for an amazing dinner. Excellent vegetarian option.
Atmosphere is cute and chistmassy. Very clean as well. I’m form out of town, but wish there was such a place near my home.
Suggestions- The massaman curry was marked as spicy on the menu, but it tasted a tad bit sweet.

Three of us went to this restaurant on Friday night for dinner. We asked a seat for three. We were told to wrote our names and wait outside in cold for over 20 minutes. There were two groups of similar number that came after us they were given preference and they let us wait outside without any explanation or apologies. We left disheartened! Very disappointing and discriminating to treat customers unfairly! I would not recommend this place for people of color!!

Amazing food and service! Must visit if in Santa Cruz

Green curry was fantastic. Bit pricy, but that doesn't take away from how tasty it was.

Technicals first. For one I havnt tried too much of the menu but everything I have tried so far has been delicious and it's come out of the kitchen quick. The prices aren't too high relative to anything else in the area either which is impressive specifically. Maybe a boring review but when I don't have all to much to critique I guess that's what happens!

Now on to other details. There are a few logistics issues about this place than can be a headache. Issues worth overcoming for the food but issues nonetheless. One of the problems is the physical location being difficult to get to especially if you drive a larger car. I suggest parking nearby and walking to the restaurant if you aren't confident in your close quarter navigational skills. The second issue is just that the internal dining is very small. If you want to take a big group (6+) consider taking out rather than dining in as things at that scale will get cramped in there.

Like I said, 2 non food related and well solvable issues that you just have to be aware of in order to enjoy some delicious Thai food.

We were there yesterday, September 26, 2023. Pad Thai was terrible. It was not authentic. All noodles barely any vegetables, a little bit of chicken and no flavor. We were a party of five they added the tip on automatically.

We were served the food quite quickly! The food tasted pretty authentic. Portion size was reasonable. Recently visited Thailand and mango sticky rice reminded of the authentic flavor we had. Hidden gem!! So glad we stopped by this place when heading to Santa Cruz Broadwalk from South Bay.

Fresh and delicious food. The only thing that needed more flavor was the wonton filling in the Wonton Soup. Our party of 7 enjoyed everything. The place is very small with limited seating. Call ahead if you have a large party. The parking is small, but appropriate for the small restaurant. This is the 3rd time I've been here and will keep coming back- I haven't been disappointed.

The reason I keep coming here is because I love their wide noodle vegan pad see ew. I have tried other dishes but for some reason I just don't like them as much as the pad see ew here. The rad na is good as well, but since I order pick up, the noodles are always crushed up the way they serve it for the rad na, and that makes the experience not as great. It's been solid for 6 years now. Tonight I ordered gluten-free, veggies & tofu option, no egg, no meat, like usual, for both my orders. Unfortunately, both of them were permeated by the taste of moldy vegetables for some reason. It's never happened before, and I hope it's a one-off event. They seemed super busy tonight; maybe it was that. But I don't need to increase my health issues by taking in mold, so I might wait awhile or order at a less busy time. :/

I was craving for Asian food after 12 days in California. My trip to Santa Cruz was amazing and then I found this Thai restaurant. Yummy to the tummy 😋😋😋.. except for the mango sticky rice (the mango is not sweet, I think its not from Thailand 😆🤭)

First time here. The food was all delicious. Appetizer fried sweet potatoes cooked perfectly. Mango curry with tofu. Eggplant chicken. Pad Thai with tofu. No egg. Great meal.

Do not go here if you are expecting to pay the price of the online menu. We came in for the lunch special we saw on the brochure menu that was posted online a week ago. It shows $10.95 for a lunch special. When they gave us the big menu there were no lunch specials and the individual dishes were about $13.95 each. When we asked for the menu that was posted online they said it was an old one. I showed them how it had been posted just a week prior (2/7/23) and she said they don’t have that menu. We decided to leave and saw the paper menu on the way out by the register and she said that was an old menu. Yet there were lots by the register. Felt like we were being taken advantage of.

Food is decent but every single item we ordered was incorrect and I had to drive back a second time and they were extremely unapologetic. Only item that we ordered that they got right was white rice.

Red curry was perfectly according to our taste - not sweet, ample veggies. It doesn't come with a side of rice, so need to order it separately.
Spicy noodles with tofu and veggies were good too. This is a dry dish.

Had a PAD THAI to go order there. The PAD THAI was dissolved because there was too much order. For an order that cost almost $18, the portion was ridiculously small. Only 3 small pieces of meat inside and there was not too much only. The order could not fill half of the small Chinese food paper to-go box. They are cheap!cheap!cheap! Will never go back. Don't waste your money.

Unbelievable meal, one of the best I’ve ever had. The portion was perfect and the sticky mango rice was the the best possible way to end the meal. Amazingly patient wait staff too 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.

Great food, great service. My Thai wife approved, confirmed that her dish was made authentically enough, with the flavor and spice level she requested. Mine (I prefer not spicy!) was also excellent; I'm not nearly the connoisseur that SHE is, but I know what I like, and this was GOOD!

The food here is always good. We had the yellow curry, fried rice and Thai salad. Everything tasted fresh, the peanut sauce was yummy and the yellow curry was delicious! We ordered to go and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. The only issue was there was no rice for my curry. I didn't know you had to ask for that as we've had the curry there several times and there was always rice. Lesson learned. If you like rice with your curry, don't forget to ask for it. Will remember next time we go. 😊

Pretty good Thai food! A liiiiittle bit expensive compared to what else is around, but nice central location on the west side and nice service.

Incredible thai food. My family eats thai cuisine very frequently so we’ve developed an expectation and this place absolutely met it. From papaya salad, to the fried rice, noodle dishes, and dessert, we loved everything we ordered. All our dishes were accomodatingly made vegan and they were wonderfully flavorful and spicy to the level we’d requested. If you’re in Santa Cruz and looking for Thai that hits the spot, this is it!

Have been here for several times. Tried green, yellow, red, Panang, pineapple curries. To me, their curries are very optimal, not too salty or too sweet, very tasty accompanied with white rice. Mango sticky rice is also great, with sesame on it. I’d like to come back again to taste all curries and noodles, etc.

Wow! Everything here was delicious and we eat a lot of Thai food. Pad Thai, Tom Kha, stir fry and the mango sticky rice were all incredible! What a great find while on vacation.

My favorite is -- has been for a long time -- their ginger soup. I have it with tofu and veggies but they have choice of meat. I like their fresh spring rolls a lot especially during summer. Their sticky rice is the one to order. I like their seafood red curry but they overcook the calamari so tell them to substitute it for whatever else you like.

It's okay. I tried the pad thai, Thai iced coffee, and satay chicken. The ratio of portion, price, and quality were okay. I've had better tasting Thai food with larger portions than this restaurant.

The place is really nice and clean, the service quick, professional and attentive. People are really kind and the food very good.
My husband and I were there last night because our car broke down right on Mission, Santa Cruz, on the way back to San Francisco. Someone from the restaurant, a guy and a very nice lady who works there came out to help us to push the car into their parking lot. They offered us help and water. Then while waiting for a taxi to go back home we ordered some appetizers and Thai beer. They let us charge our phones there and brought the drink and food promptly.
We spent very little money, we received great food and kindness. There are really good people in this world. Thank you!

Favorite Thai restaurant in Santa Cruz! Great food, fast service and friendly staff. Love the basil chicken but honestly every thing on the menu is fantastic. The parking lot is small and on a dangerous corner. I recommend parking on a side street and walk to the restaurant. The dine in area is relatively small (maybe 10 tables) and it can get quite busy. Take out is the best option

The food here was great. I heard that last year they had an issue with health inspection, but I've never had an issue with them personally. The staff was nice, if a bit rushed at times.

I neglected to photograph the Panang curry or the red curry because they were both delightful. The takeout experience was nice, and I'm sure dine-in will be great as well in the future from the look of the place.

Ordered thai chow mien, curry noodles and egg rolls. Only the egg rolls were edible. I have never had chow mien taste this bad, had to throw all of it away.

We were exploring Santa Cruz, California and felt in the mood for Thai food and we saw this restaurant. We placed our order online and our order took almost an hour. Very dissatisfied. The Thai food is not authentic and so pricey.

I get takeout from @thai twice a week or more. I can’t speak to the cultural authenticity of the food, but it is consistently delicious.

I've ordered food from this place many times in the past , it was very good till today. I ordered the stuff chicken wings, it was good as always.

Then the tom yum soup was terrible, it is muddy not as clear that's used to be. It is very salty and cloudy. And has some soft string of noodles in it. Looks like leftover from someone' tom yum noodles soup broth then dump it in with shrimp and mushrooms. Bad bad bad.

The suppose to be fresh ginger stirred fried pork with veggies. Turn out to be, not a fresh ginger. The ginger liked it was already cooked out to get the flavor for other soup food ingredients. Then re used that ginger for my food. The ginger is stateless.

I understand the hard time of the Covid, but please don't cut corners to makeup for the short term benefits . It will hurts your business in the long run.

I rated a four only because I haven't had the experience of dining inside and this is only my second time to eat @thai to go. I ordered Red Curry with tofu & vegetables with rice and recently Pumpkin Curry, Fish cakes, and Mango with Sticky rice. It's sooo delicious! I'm looking forward to dining inside when this social distancing is over. Until then this will be my @thai place to go. 🧡 Thank you!
