Went here because of the reviews. Gave 4 stars because it was def good, but it wasn’t mind blowing in my opinion. I got the broccoli and beef, chicken pad Thai, satay chicken, and garlic wings. The broccoli beef was an all around favorite for my family, it was so good and the broccoli tasted so good too. Def a 5/5 and also can with a side of rice. I was too full to finish the chicken pad thai I personally ordered after eating a bunch of broccoli but it was def more sweet, I would give it a 4/5. Good portion too. My 6 year old brother ate the satay chicken which he enjoyed, def good for kids who are more picky because they don’t put the sauce on top, they put it on the side which is good. And then the garlic chicken we ordered didn’t get finished bc we were full, but it wasn’t anything special but it wasn’t bad. I think it could use more flavor. But I would give that a 3/5. All around a pretty solid place.
Authentic taste with real Thai ingredients and very fair pricing. What's not to love? Made this is our new Friday lunch spot.
Accessibility: there is a disabled parking spot with a ramp in front of the building (see photos). The door to enter is a pull door. Inside there are lots of wheelchair accessible tables with moveable chairs. No seating outside.
Experience: I came in as a walk in and realized later that's probably a mistake. It took at least 30 minutes for the food to be made (which I know is because they are super busy), but man I was hungry. The food was okay. It wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't the best Thai I've had. I think I would try another Thai place before coming back here. For two orders of Thai Fried Rice it cost 27 dollars.
Our new go to Thai in North County. We used to frequent Kinaly Thai, but the taste and portions changed for the worse after a recent ownership change.
Be warned, it's pretty spicy here! I normally go for a 7 and add additional spice at home, but a 6-8 here had me pleasantly sweating!
My wife got "no spice"and still thought it had some kick. Fantastic!
This is my absolute favorite Thai food place. I have been coming here since 2020 and I have really never found anywhere better. The drunken noodles here is my favorite meal of all time, the yellow curry and pak raum mit are an honorable mention. Will be a regular customer for a long time.

Ordered drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice spice level 6-8. Quantity of the Drunken noodles was very little, very small portion size. Used to be enough for two people twice but now barely enough for one person.

My favorite panang curry of any Thai restaurant!
We ordered lunch to be delivered today, I got the yellow curry with shrimp and white rice. The food arrived very hot, fresh and was delicious!
BEST PAD THAI EVER!!! I always come here with friends and family, their food is so tasty and the staff are friendly. The veggie pad thai is my favorite. I will always recommend this place to friends and family for lunch and dinner:) Best pad thai in San Diego. The noodles are delicious and have the perfect Chewyness and flavor
My family and I had the pad see eww! It is so good! The flavor, the wide noodles and my all time favorite, the spice! I saw that they used real peppers and not the dried grounded peppers. The server was very kind and patient. My new favorite place! I’ve been looking for somewhere that serves great pad see eww and after so many failures, I finally found it! Thank you!
Best Thai I’ve ever had
Had some green curry and pad Thai here this evening and was so happy with the flavors. This is my new go-to Thai place in San Marcos.
Excellent food & service 😋
In all honesty, Muay Thai has just enough punch to make it to 4 stars. The food is not mind-blowing, with most of the flavor relying on that classic Thai spiciness to carry the weight. The staff are friendly but tables and chairs are sticky and for the prices, are not worth the time in my opinion.
Absolute best Thai I have found in the San Diego area. Coming from the Bay Area where the supply is ample and almost always amazing, the Thai food options in San Diego have been very disappointing. Everything I have ordered here has been stellar and the staff are fantastic. Highly recommend even though I want to keep it my secret.
This place is tasty! I've had pad Thai, Thai tea, spring and fresh rolls, fried rice... so far everything has been delicious. It's our go to for N County Thai Food. Seats are cafeteria style so not a place to lounge, more of a eat n go atmosphere.
My $15 chicken curry had TWO SMALL BITES of chicken in it. No joke. TWO BITES of chicken. Not to mention, the size of the container was about 75% of what it used to be. Seems the side of rice is smaller as well. Total waste of money and I feel ripped off. Used to love this place.
I used to have a good review about this place and would have recommend it, until now. They don't really have AMAZING food but it was good enough in a pinch for some thai food. I would swing by this place out of convenience but now it's more inconvenient than not. I get my order about 45 mins before closing I order two small dishes nothing demanding no alterations. I also made this order with all tofu and requested that and confirmed it with the woman on the phone. Long story short I come home and there is shrimp instead of tofu. By the time I get to my box they're closed. No big deal I toss the box and figure I'll call the next day. I call the restaurant to let them know and they actually demand I PROVE the order was wrong. I told them I tossed the food and that seems like a wierd request to ask for a picture. Moving on I decided it wasn't handled with respects to the customer or self responsibility over a small mistake that could have easily been corrected with a replacement and not a once over by staff and requesting proof of the error. I'm done here. There are plenty of restraunts that would have just replaced it apologized and moved on. There are alot of other REALLY great thai places around town. Some I haven't tried yet. I'll be looking forward to trying all of the other thai places because this place isn't worth supporting.
Excellent:)
Wonderful food
Reasonable prices
Very cheerful about accommodating food allergies an sensitivities.
We'll be back!
Really good food, drunken noodles are great, salt and pepper chicken, fried egg rolls, basil chicken. All so yummy. We like their Thai lemonade. We eat here frequently.
Delicious food with great service.
Im from Thailand and their food made me feel like home.
Best, fresh Thai food in Escondido! I did both Togo and dine in on a separate occasion and both was great.
My family loves this place, our go to Thai restaurant even though it isn’t the closest.
I got two orders of drunken noodles and one order of garlic chicken wings. I paid around $50 plus tip and I thought maybe the drunken noodle orders would be huge. Despite my bag being so light. I had hope but when I got home I found the noodles to be stuck together into a sad little ball in two different containers. As if one order had been split into two. They were still great tasting but I felt robbed and wondered if the noodles were old and they just split them in two containers. Will probably not go back again. But it was good for a quick crave of noodles.
I'll take panda over this place.
Great Food!! Highly Recommend!
Best Drunken Noodle is the best I have had!
My favorite Thai place of all time. I love their spicy fried rice! Their food is always hot and flavorful, I haven't been disappointed yet.
I ordered some food here and it had alot of oil. It's like they dumped it on it. Even the peanut sauce had alot of it.
Best Thai food I've had in California.
This place a in the rotation for sure. Good Curry and they have mock duck sogood
I always come here for the best drunken noodles in San Diego County.
Love the food here!! My mom and I have tried many Thai food places from Oceanside, Vista, Escondido and this is our favorite ❤️❤️
Don't order Door Dash here. They take 45 minutes to make your food. The food is ok, I actually had this happen twice. Hopefully my mistake helps someone else. Bad management, bad service, mediocre food.
Love the quaint place and the food! Too bad they are closed on Mondays, but they deserve some time off.

Excellent Thai food experience!
Great food, fun people, reasonable prices. Would recommend and 100% going back.
Casual and very high quality.
Chicken satay and peanut sauce was some of the best I have had.
The tropical curry with shrimp was so fresh and plenty for lunch tomorrow l.
The mango sticky rice was delicious and plenty to take home.
Easy to grab a table or to go.
Very friendly and simple as their focus is the food!
Number one our order was wrong we ordered one spring roll, one pot sticker, we got two potstickers.
Number two we ordered two noodle dishes, 1 tofu and one pork the flavor for both dishes was lacking there was no pork in one dish.
We were hoping to find a Thai restaurant that was close to our home, but we were sorely disappointed.
delicious food and welcoming atmoshpere, the thai tea and coffee are my favorites!
Very bland food and over priced for the portion sizes. In regards to customer service, the staff is very impatient. Had to tell the waitress to give my table more time to look at the menu because she was demanding we place our orders right then and there. I ordered spicy fried rice and it was burnt and not spicy at all.
Our new go to Thai in North County. We used to frequent Kinaly Thai, but the taste and portions changed for the worse after a recent ownership change.

i’ve been coming here since opening day and the food is just as amazing as the people. super kind with food that continues to exceed expectation!

The food was good but the service was very bad. I called for a order pick up and the lady was very rude and impatient in the phone. I won’t come back.
This place is a hidden gem 😍 so delicious! Great customer service & casual atmosphere 👍🏻
only eaten here a couple of times but so far super impressed. coming from all the options in Los Angeles and orange county this is on par with most any of the others I've had.
Hands down, best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. Like… just trust me. Just go here. Curry is SOOOO flavorful that even a lick on your spoon will send your eyes rolling to the back of your skull in .5 seconds. Fried tofu is perfect texture. Cashew Stir Fry is perfectly crisp-tender fresh, with a delicious flavorful spicy and savory sauce. Can order things gluten free and vegan if desired. Thank you for the delightful meal, Muay Thai! I wish I lived closer or knew all the secrets to cook like this 😭❤️
My new Favorite! Especially love the pre packaged spices included in take out ! Very thoughtful. Spice as you like. Fair price. Good value.
I stopped here pretty randomly after a hike and liked the food so much that I now regularly drive 25 minutes just eat there. I love the spicy fried rice and my husband likes the green curry. Excellent peanut sauce too.
Wonderful food.
Fantastically fresh and tasty!
Excellent food fantastic taste , good prices too.
This is by far the best Thai food in San Diego County!!! I have tried at least a dozen Thai Restaurants and none compare to the quality, texture, and taste of their food. If you like medium spicy at a 5 or 6, I recommend ordering it at mild or a 3. I tried this restaurant 6 months ago and will not go anywhere else!
I don’t know if the quality has always been this bad but this is the worst Thai food I’ve eaten in my 42 years. Island Curry was more like soup super watery and giant vegetables inside most I think frozen also not the same as what the menu listed. Pad Thai had no peanuts, cilantro or lime and lacked flavor. Too expensive for the quality of food.
They were so amazing. When the server learnt that it was my birthday they threw in an extra tom ka! The food is delicious, really brings back memories of being back home in Thailand. A MUST for Thai food lovers in the area.
Best Drunken Noodles & Fresh rolls that I have found in ALL of San Diego. I'm sure I'd say the same about the other dishes but I only get these two items every time I go. Staff is very kind and the place is clean. Love 'em. 5 Stars all day!
Not always the best customer service but excellent food! Highly recommend...do order the garlic wings...delicious
Love the staff. Food awesome every time!🤗
Zero stars if I could. We ordered 3 lunch specials (sweet and sour stir fry, broccoli stir fry, & Thai stir fried rice). We ordered everything vegan, the soup that came w/ it tasted like seafood & the salad dressing tasted like it was mayo based. The sweet and sour was bland it didn’t even taste like sweet and sour plus it didn’t have my pineapple w/ it either; it was basically onion/bell peppers/green beans/broccoli. The broccoli stir fried was basically veggies in soy sauce. The Thai stir fried had very soggy rice and was extremely bland. The size of the tomatoes basically took up space in our to go orders. For the $32 bucks we spent I should have honestly just bought a bag of frozen veggies from Costco & added my own seasoning & would have had better results.
I got the spicy noodles to go. The servers seemed very attentive and waiting was less than 10 minutes. The food tastes hot and fresh. Very enjoyable.
The location was hard to find. I passed it twice before I finally saw it.
Food was delicious. Service was great. Medium spicy is a 3 out of 10, FYI. We had Tom Yum (hot pot), Pad Thai, and green curry. All were tasty and spice level 4/10. We were sweating by the end of dinner. It's nice to have a great Thai place nearby. I absolutely adored the cups of water and the Thai iced coffee got my motor running. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant and making it one of your go-to's.
Sensational flavors! Wholesome ingredients and great prices. I absolutely enjoyed my meal!
Love the Basil Stir Fry
Great food and service.
Extremely yummy
Amazing food and flavor... They Coustamise to ur taste buds... Loved every bite of spicy fried rice and island curry and their unique roti... Will come back again
Best yellow curry I ever had. Wow
The lunch special is delicious!
Affordable and tasty
Great thai food
Great curry as always! The Drunken Noodles are fantastic also!
Yummy food nice restaurant and sweet service. If you want to know have great is just come to eat like me do. Yummy I told you. Lol
Excellent See Ew, and the lunch special soup was so flavorful! I'll be back!
It is a very tasty Thai food!! Very fresh Tom kha soup and green curry is delish. A+++ server is very nice and sweet!
Hidden Gem. All the dishes I've tried have been good.
Amazing food! If you like authentic Thai spice check this place out. Start with the mild and work your way up! 🔥❤
Really good food! The medium is hot but darn tasty. Really enjoyed the selection available and everything came out fast. Flavours are outstanding as is the service. We'll be back for sure!
My wife and I have been wanting to try this place since they opened and we finally got the chance and enjoyed it very much. We ordered our favorite Thai dishes as a baseline to compare to and discovered that the food was delicious. Not only was there effort put into plating but the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. It's easy to make a curry all one flavor but Muay Thai Kitchen did not have that at all. You could taste the blend of spices along with each individual bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. It was fantastic. One thing to note is that the spices they use here are a little bit spicier than what we're used to in this neighborhood. If you enjoy hot, go for medium. Medium? Go for mild. Mild? Go for no spice. When all is said and done, I recommend giving Muay Thai Kitchen a try and you will enjoy a kick in the mouth.
Excellent place. The food is great, it has not disappointed. We have been there several times in 2019. Small place.
Great new thai place in escondido, a bit hidden in the shopping center but worth checking out. food was great I tried the lunch special and will be back.
I met up with a friend around 330pm today. It was my first time and she has visited this place a lot. I ordered Panang Curry with Pork in #1 spice level and a Thai Iced Tea. My friend ordered her usual. Everything was delicious! Prices are not bad and the staff are very nice. I can't wait to try the other items.
I visited Thailand in December and after coming back from there I visited this place and trust me they serve authentic thai food. It's a small budget friendly restaurant. I love there lunch time soup. My husband ordered yellow curry and I ordered green curry which was spicy but ohh sooo delicious.
So if you like thai food and in San Marcos area then I would definitely recommend you to try this place. You wont be disappointed. We weren't for sure.
My go to thai place. It's a casual quick eat place with delicious food and large portions. If you want a 10 (and I mean a real thai 10) ask for over 9000 spicy level. I recommend the spicy fried rice over 9000 shrimp or beef. When you want delicious thai food, this should be at the top of your list.
My husband and I were in the San Marcos area and we were looking for a great Thai restaurant to eat at & we did not have to look far. Muay Thai restaurant has fresh tasty Thai food. I love the lunch time soup. It tasted like the Tom kah Soup without the chicken!! It was so yummy though!! 😋
My husband ordered the yellow curry which was spicy but oooh sooo good!!
I ordered the pad see ew both with chicken. Then I added cashew nuts because I always add cashew nuts to everything! 😁 LOL.
If you like Thai food and you're in the San Marcos area then I would definitely check out Muay Thai restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
Very good enjoyable food
Best See Ew I've ever had. Great little place with great service. Will definitely return.
Love thurs place!
Very good food. With some good variety.
Always excellent service and the food is hot and tasty!
Great food, great prices, and fast friendly service. What else can I ask for? It was a very casual dining experience that was somehow still very authentic. I ordered a water and they gave it to me in a silver bowl. They were very serious about asking about spice levels and made sure we were comfortable with our spice Choice. Apparently it can be crazy spicy if you let them.
The best in town .
A pretty average Thai place. It's a smaller sized space, but clean inside. There's a menu that has the main items, plus there's a lunch menu that's served everyday 11-3. This was my choice, you get a little salad, a little soup, and a main entree, which I'm assuming is smaller than a regular-sized portion. The lunch size is alright, it's good for a small meal if you're not too hungry.
I decided on the garlic & black pepper stir fry with tofu. This had flavor, but is mostly soy sauce. Portion-wise it's fine, but I feel like it was missing something. Overall, this is a fine place to get food.
We enjoyed our meal
The WORST SERVICE EVER, imagine l made an order by Website and when l arrived on time to get it found it's NOT READY! I waited EXTRA 20 minutes to get my order and my order is very simple. It's better than talking by phone and continue laughing, do your job that you get money from it and pick up my/ and other orders.
Great Food, Fast Service, Nice Decor
What a delight! Tastefully decorated inside. Very attentive hard working staff and food prepared fresh to order.
There is a full menu. We sampled the chicken satay which were perfectly marinated, juicy, tender with excellent satay sauce. The spring rolls we're hot and crispy. The tom kha soup had the perfect blend of coconut and lime. The panang beef was spot on tasty, as was the sweet basil and ginger chicken. Even the water was icy cold and filtered. Overall, very good Thai food.
Excellent fresh food. I ordered food to go for four people. They offered me ice water while i waited. The food was excellent. They only had me wait about ten minutes for a lot of food. I will definitely be going back.
Delicious Thai food served by friendly people.
Great food, clean establishment, and muay Thai theme.
Food was great. Service was great. Will definitely be coming back.
Awesome thai food and very friendly service!! A must try if you luv thai food 😆
Super yummy food. The seafood is amazing, fresh veggies, great salads, noodles, and curry.
Decided to stop by for some vegan food on our way up north and was happily surprised with how good the appetizers and the entrees where! Highly recommend if in the area.
I ordered lunch for my whole staff from across the street at San Marcos Dental Group (about 10 orders) and it was all correct! Thank you, I will be a regular customer here.
