Thai cuisine with many vegetarian options served in modern space with dark wood & recessed lighting.
Absolutely horrible!!
The “Pad Krapow” is not really that at all. The beef is not minced, doesn’t come with rice, extremely watery, full of onions and bell peppers and barely any beef. Pad Thai was severely lacking flavor and tofu was chewy and over cooked. Will never recommend this restaurant.
Great price (esp for their current $12 lunch special entrees), delicious pad see ew, curry, and pad woonsen. Refreshing thai iced tea. Friendly server and a chill dining environment.
Pretty standard thai food. Didn't think your saving with the BOGO deals your basically getting what u paid for. The settings of each is kind of small but good though. I dined in at prime dinner time and I was the only here as well. So I'd take to go
Prices on the website are really old! We ordered 2 sautéed dishes (entres), 1 curry (w/brown rice). 1 fresh roll. No added meats, nothing comes with rice!? It was just over $80!! The portions were so small, entres were watery, and the curry had an odd taste. Won’t be back.
Great salad, spring rolls, and soup was okay.
i love this place

Very surprised to see all the really poor reviews. This is my go-to spot. It’s cheaper than other most other Thai places nearby, and it’s delicious.

Delicious and well priced
The panang curry was great!
Absolutely horrible!!

Quality overall is low. Tasteless and made without much care.
Food had a roach in it. Searched on yelp and there are several people that have had this problem. This place needs to be shut down by the health board. Disgusting.
Pad Thai with shrimp and the crab rangoons were among the best I’ve ever had. Seems like they do a fair amount of takeout, but there weren’t many there dining in when we went so getting a table was no problem.
As I was ordering food at a table, the waitress passive aggressively asked me if I was ordering to go.
I said "no" and she said,
"Ooooh sorry, you can't eat here. You don'tever tip me! Sorry."
The waitress always had an attitude when she served me, and now I see why. Still, I am always polite and I finish my food so it's not fair to treat a costumer like they aren't valued for that.
I'm upset.
Absolutely delicious! Great spice! Try the Papaya salad and curry!
Tried this place out because my usual thai place is closed on Tuesdays. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and prawns to go. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed in a restaurant for serving up such food. I payed $17 and change for rice with a bit of canned pineapple and bits of chicken, not a prawn in sight. I had no choice but to dig in since it was my lunch for the day but it didnt even taste good. Honestly it almost felt like I was having someone else's leftover rice. My usual thai spot uses big fresh chunks of pineapple and large shrimp, raisins ...they even decorate the top of the rice with a couple slices of cucumber and couple sprigs of cilantro and what not AND its only $15. NOT HERE! Cant even call it mediocre. Needless to say I will not be returning.
Flavor and Spice of Green Curry broth were good, but the many vegetables in it were completely raw and crunchy. I guess they have a bunch of broth and then quickly throw in raw Veggies and re-heat when an order comes in..
The food was 1-dimensional. It would've been great if I was drunk.
That was actually the worst Curry. I asked for spicy there was almost no flavor. Watered down. Mediocre. Disappointed.
Pad Thai had ketchup in it and soup was over salted. Not worth the price and pretty poor tasting. Best thing was the rice
This place is amazing!
AMAZING
Ordered on Uber eats. 15 bucks for six crab ragoons.
But that’s not the worst part.
Pad Thai was definitely seasoned with ketchup….
Im not joking.
Good food, decent service. Wasn’t happy about the forced gratuity for a party over 6, but it’s fine.
DO NOT PARK BEHIND THE BUILDING IN THE MARKED SPOTS. Google maps has a public parking lot listed for the restaurant. It is NOT public and one of the other tenants threatened to tow our cars. The spots are even marked “restaurant”, don’t park there!
I have come here to dine in several times. I feel it is a very peaceful space. They have a fountain providing ambient water sounds. The food is good and there are a lot of vegan options to choose from as well. Since the pandemic it seems to be kind of slow. You usually can just walk in and get a table right away. If I have one critique about the food, the pan fried noodles are overly oily in my opinion. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place.
The rice was OK and that was the best part.
Absolutely great thai restaurant. Quick service, nice ambiance. We ordered pad thai, panang curry and summer rolls. Very tasty. You can ask them for different spice levels. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend it.
Holy moly! What a feast! Between the undercooked potatoes, the watery curry soup, abundance raw slided onion and absent chicken; this has been the best representation of a lonely Christmas night take out for one. 1st and last time ordering here. The rice was good. No napkins tho.
Vegetables were raw in the overly sweet curry
Really good vegan options!! Love the veggie curry.
Ordered online and it was not correct one. Asked for help but doesn’t want to do it.
Really good Thai food. Reasonable prices for Thai food, compared to others. Also, they have vegan options. Curry is really good. 👍🏼👍🏼
My pad kee mao was oily and the noodles mushy. Spring rolls were mediocre but too expensive for what I got. I am typically averse to posting ratings, but I'm sorry to say this was a disappointment
Typical Thai cuisine. No fancy menu
Food is great but messed up my order with some food I can’t eat.
Unfortunately, we had to deal with a *very* rude lady who works here when we picked up our food. Will not return because of this. 👎🏽
Love it here. One of my favorites.
Have been ordering food for delivery for years from this restaurant, finally had lunch at the location, very good food
We LOVE sweet Thai basil! Incredible menu and fast service.
The green curry friend rice is delicious and can be made super spicy! Plenty of veggie and vegan options.
Call ahead and they will have your order ready in 15 minutes!
Slow
I ordered a beef noodle soup it was good the minus is i wasnt given utensils
อร่อยมากครับ
Review for Pad See Ew: Not enough chicken. Seemed like there wasn’t enough sauce compared to other places.
Very tasty. My chicken coconut soup was super spicy despite my not asking for it that way. I like spicy and enjoyed it for a while then it almost grew to be inedible.
It was over the top.
Great service and tasted good.
Great lunch spot, affordable prices. I got the red curry "spicy" but it didn't have a ton of heat. I'll probably order extra spicy next time.
Great food and friendly staff. Lot of vegetarian options and the flavors were really good.
Great food, nice ambience, good service.
Really good that food. Parking is a little difficult nearby but not impossible. Quantity is not overwhelming but taste of the food is perfect
Good service, good spicy car fish
Yummy crab fried rice
Tasty options. Spicer than usual. Good service
Ordered for delivery through their site. Overall, mixed results on the food.
Some was outstanding and others were "just ok." The SweetBasil entree was amazing and highly recommend... full of flavor. Tom Yum soup was good.
Special requests on online order for cutlery, soya, etc. were ignored (i.e., not delivered). Some of order was wrong - paid for extra rice which we didn't get; 1of2 entrees was completely wrong.
Delivery was cash only, and driver really didn't have more than $4 change.
Friendly stuff and good food!
This place is shady. I order almost $70 worth of food. We were all in the back on the deck so we didn't hear the delivery girl come by. She did not leave the food at the door and they didn't refund me my money. I called and no answer. I emailed them and no response. I will never order from their shady asses again with their dry ass pad thai unflavored noodles.
Nice food realibreprices
Best place for big group celebration. They also have sweet deals when you order everything in advance (and pay cash).
So delicious!! We ordered via Caviar and the food came pretty fast and was still warm by the time we got it (45 min). I had the tofu pumpkin curry (which was so yummy!) and my husband got the fried rice with chicken (extra, extra spicy). Both entrees were delicious; we will definitely be ordering from them again!
This is one of my favourite Thai places ever. The portions are big, the sauce is thick enough and the coconut rice is delicious!
Got a yellow curry with brown rice for takeout. Food was quite good, service was unhelpful and uninspiring.
Very good food and very good service. This was our first time but will be going more often.
Cute little place with great food. Pad kee mao is perfect. Pumpkin curry and Tom yum fried rice after very good too.
The food was excellent, best Thai I've had in a while. Good prices and service too.
Good vegetarian options, free delivery
Had a great dinner here, pad thai was flavorful and the beautiful plate presentation was quite a treat! Very affordable, even with drinks! Perfect for cheap quality take out or a budget friendly date.
Solid Thai option. The food's got great flavor, is presented well, and if you ask for it spicy it's spicy! Beware, if you ask for it 'thai spicy (a 5 on their scale) it's really, really spicy.
Generally we've had better luck with the stir fries and fried noodles than the curries, which lack a bit of punch.
Service is quick and friendly, and the décor is nice. Really nice spot!
Food selection was simpler than other nearby Thai restaurants (which is a good thing). Food was well prepared and quickly served. Quality was not as good as other options in the area. Nothing particularly negative about my experience other than there's better locally.
Yummy Thai at good prices
Had the yellow curry. It was perfect. Cucumber salad could use more cucumbers. Nice environment. Everyone seems to enjoy their job.
My wife and I meant to go to the Thai Idea, but the address from their website took us to Sweet Basil...we stayed anyway and are so glad we did! The veggie curry is absolutely amazing! Great service and nice decor.
Wonderful food.
Was dead when we came in but I was suprised by how good the curry and fried noodles are. I'd put it on my top 5 best thai spots in the city. Super friendly staff too.
This is a great place, with great staff, great food and a great experience.
I've had takeout and dined in here and enjoyed almost everything we have ordered.
They have happy hour beer's at a great place if you dine in, great Thai Iced teas and the Green Curry and Pad Thai are a couple of my favorites. If you order togo/delivery call them directly because it is much faster than with Eat24.
First of all, the good stuff... My first order through Yelp and their app partner, Eat24. Easy order process. The order came quickly, and the pineapple fried rice was good.
Unfortunately, the rest of the review isn't as favorable. We ordered string been with chicken while we indicated mild spice, the restaurant completely ignored our request. If we ordered an item in a restaurant and the wait staff thought we might be disappointed in the result (i.e. ordering a spicy item and then asking for it not to be spicy), they'd gently suggest we might want to try something else!
NO... that's not what happened.
Instead, their manager insinuates that we are an idiot for ordering something that is supposedly spicy and then telling them not to make it spicy. Well, this "idiot" won't be ordering anything from them anymore. And the restaurant's manager isn't doing them any favors by treating their customers the way he does...
Then I get a call from the Eat24 guy telling me that since I complained, they are blocking / black listing me from this restaurant and their app.
Unbelievable...
I ordered takeout from here through the OrderAhead app. Food was ready on schedule. I had the green curry with chicken (mild) and brown rice. The curry was coconut-creamy, fresh, and delicious. I'm curious to know how healthy that dish is. I will probably order from this place again.
Not sure if I would go out to eat here. The decor was likely intended to come across as sleek modern, but in the brief time I spent inside picking up the food, I experienced it as awkward combination of cheap and gaudy.
Thai iced tea for $2! i love love the service and food are always nicely decorated not to mention good.
oh wow: these folks go to great lengths to make very tasty, very beautiful food! in a town overflowing with thai options this place stands out. it's a beautiful interior space, too: an asian restaurant where you want to dine-in? almost unheard of!
i had the tom yum soup with shrimp: *amazing*. it puts to shame a lot of its competitors by using actual straw mushrooms (none of those uncooked white buttons here), a plentiful portion of shrimp, and includes fresh tomato slices! Topped with a bit of cilantro, it left me craving more even after I was done (and full). I can't wait to come back and try their curries and specialty dishes!
service was top-notch: the waiter was extremely nice, extremely savvy to how his establishment operated, and super attentive.
Quite some turn around since Dusit Thai that was at this location for a long time closed. Is this one here to stay? Looks like it might. The volcanic lamb and bangkok duck were good. It was pretty empty at lunch time but service was slow.
Excellent. Beautifully decorated, you'll eat it here rather than take out to the back garden of the Royal Cuckoo! Chef came out and greeted us. Interesting slide show: photos of the feed. Quite yummy.
We really enjoyed all our dishes! The Phuket Fish and Red Curry were especially good. The Pad See Ew, String Beans, Satay, and Samosas were tasty too. Even though we asked for mild, the curry & beans were still very spicy so beware.
Recommended by a friend.
The fake meat wasn't very good and there are better veggie options at some of the other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. The Wing Bomb appetizer was pretty tasty though.
