Really tasty food! Clean and inviting. I have several food allergies and also Vegan, they were able to accommodate me and make me feel safe about what I was eating. They are reasonable priced for the quality of food. Thank you Thai2You I will be back for more!

Diner Review №2

Extremely small portions of food for the price they charge.

Diner Review №3

We are regulars who dine here weekly. Great food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We come here frequently because the food is CONSISTENTLY delicious and the quality and care is obvious. Try it and you'll become a regular too!

Diner Review №4

Amazing food - the atmosphere is inside a thai resteraunt inside of a resteraunt - so it is a nestled house.

The 8 spice was pretty spicy, but not over doing it. Really nice with a cold.

Diner Review №6

This place is my new favorite Thai restaurant! Their pad Thai is SO GOOD. Even when I ask for it to be spicy, the sweetness still is able to come through. It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory. It's also very affordable for the portions you're getting.

Diner Review №7

We had a nice lunch with a group of 8 people. We were able to reserve in advance. The service was fast and the food was good. They had several options for lunch specials.

Diner Review №8

Genuinely my favorite place for Thai food. I come here often and bring friends and family every chance I get.

The portions are great, flavor is amazing, and service is friendly.

Current favorite is their seasonal pumpkin curry, but they have very good options if you want something more authentic. I also love the effort they put in to present their fresh spring rolls! So cute.

10/10 every time!

Diner Review №9

I moved by Lake Hodges 1 year ago, it's pretty desolate as far as quality restaurants. I moved from Carlsbad, where your dining choices are endless. I was craving good thai food and decided on this place. The service was great, I ordered panang chicken curry, spice level 9. It was good, veggies were fresh amount of chicken was good. It just wasn't wow. I'll stick with BKK Thai in Carlsbad, which is absolutely delicious.

Diner Review №11

Refreshing papaya salad and nice masaman curry!

Diner Review №12

T2Y has over time become one of our top reliable Thai restaurants for correct flavors on many Thai dishes; like when we desperately need quatiow ba-mei (Thai soup, egg noodles or boat beef noodles) of particular varieties. What’s generally great about T2Y is that the cook does not sweeten the food, like many other places, but can make it at any level of spicy one may want. The restaurant operates with only a few staff which can sometimes mean long waits of your dinning in, but other than that, you really come here for the flavors.

Diner Review №14

Grat tasting food.
Friendly staff.

Diner Review №15

I found a bug in my meal.

I usually order from this restaurant as it is the closest to me, I ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and the Kee Mao with shrimp over the phone to go. The Pad Thai was alright, but the noodles of the Kee Mao were overly soft and when I went for a shrimp I found a dead bug had been cooked into the dish. This has caused me to question how sanitary this restaurant is and this will be my last time ordering.

Diner Review №16

They don't adhere to their own posted hours of operation. While the food is decent we were quite disappointed to arrive at 8pm when they close at 8:30 to be turned away to eat at the restaurant. We were told they close the kitchen at 8:10 and we could only order to go. While we have been there before the food is not good enough to have someone turn you away a half hour before the posted close time. Because we were turned away we went to another Thai restaurant down the street and found not only a much better experience but better food. This lack of discretion has not only lost them a customer but we will make sure to let all our friends in the neighborhood know there are better choices with restaurants that value their customers in the same proximity instead of a restaurant that turns customers away a half hour before their posted close time. Bad business.

Diner Review №17

This is my favourite place to go when I missed Thailand especially street foods like Boat noodles soup Or Yentafo, We went there pretty often bcoz it’s quite difficult to find authentic Thai food! I also recommend Nam khao tod more yum!

Diner Review №18

Got here early and by 5:30 every table was full. Excellent food and service. Portions are adequate; menu has many tempting choices. Current special offers free edamame or shrimp tempura with 2 beers (or 1 large beer.) High rating by other reviewers is spot on. Definitely worth a visit.

Diner Review №19

Best Thai in the RB! We got the yellow curry, pad woon sen, spring rolls and crab wagoons all 10/10! Amazing service, nice staff, overall really good experience.

Diner Review №22

Good food and service. It’s been crowded both times we visited and it didn’t take terribly long to get a table.

Diner Review №23

La comida es abundante y muy rica, ten cuidado al pedir la cantidad de picante, a partir del 8 es muy picante, y el postre (rice mango, no recuerdo bien el nombre
) delicioso.

Diner Review №24

Coming from a Thai person here! Food was on point and the manager, Cee was great. Overall the food takes you back to the streets of Bangkok. Thank you guys for the great service.

Diner Review №26

Great food, great staff, great prices!

Diner Review №27

I love Thai. I understand that different restaurants have different degrees of spice. But wholly cow. My friend ordered with a 2 spice level (almost mild , the lady said), but it was more like a level 5. I normally order a 5. But i didn't want to chance it. So i went with no spice. It's not bad for no spice. The soup is blan. The egg rolls soggy. And the service. Well, let's just say. I'm not going back. She was rude. I dont ever write bad reviews. But I had to post. I was hoping for better since my CO workers recommend this place.

Diner Review №28

A hidden Thai place that hits the right spots for a delicious lunch and dinner venue. We had heard some great things about this local Thai restaurant and decided to give it a shot and it more than lived up to the hype! The ambiance is simple and decorative and sets the tone.
We ordered off the lunch deal portion of the menu, but the rest of the menu covers everything you could want from a Thai place.
The prices are very reasonable too!
We ordered the pad Thai and another noodle dish, and a couple of Thai teas with boba as well. The lunch specials are great as you get soup with it, salad, dumplings, egg roll and a smaller dish sized main. Completely worth and will fill you up! Plus the food was delicious!
The service was sharp and attentive, always keeping and eye on us!
Check this place out before it gets too busy!

Finally, I found authentic Thai food? We have beef noodle soup, Kao soy and glass noodle seafood salad. All are delicious, authentic and well presented just like in Thailand. Alao, I'm happy that their menu includes some of the northern Thai food. Will be returning soon!

Diner Review №31

Super yummy, a ton of options, all of them awesome. Great for vegetarians. Fancy presentation. Small place but cozy. Great service too!!!

Diner Review №34

Excellent Thai food!! Don't let the strip-mall setting deter you. This is the best Thai I have had in North County.

Diner Review №35

Best Thai restaurant in the area, this place is such a hidden gem! We don’t mind drive 40 min every weekend here because they got the most amazing Tom Yum Noodles! Check it out!

Diner Review №36

Haven’t had good thai curry in a while, until now. The yellow chicken curry and salmon curry were amazing in flavor and spice. The only negative is that the salmon was dry. It seems to have been pan sired and then cooked in the curry which made it dry.

Diner Review №37

Great food and service. Generous portions, fresh veggies, flavorful and appropriate spice levels. Would certainly go back.

Diner Review №38

Food is amazing here! Hands down the best pad Thai in San Diego county!

Diner Review №39

My wife and I came here on a recommendation from a patient of mine and I am incredibly happy we did.
We moved to San Diego a year ago and this has been our favorite meal so far.

We had the boat noodle, khao soy, edamame, beef ball on a stick and mango sticky rice were all fantastic 10/10

Highly recommend and excited to come back and try the other food.

Diner Review №40

Fabulous Thai food in an unassuming strip mall setting. The ginger chicken had large pieces of freshly chopped peppers and onions along with mushrooms and snow peas. The veggies were crisp and bright and the dish was aromatic and spicy with deep umami undertones. Heat seekers will love this place. A 3 out of 10 on the spice meter had my nose running and mouth on fire after a few bites. The gyoza stuffed with chicken and green onion with a dipping sauce made for an addictive appetizer. What a wonderful find! Will definitely come back.

Fooods are supper fantastic. But the service is terrible. The female server rude and grumble. Not willing to take orders or taking order with bad attitude. The owner must train her again and tell her be more friendly with customers. The drinks are full of ices and no water while waiting for the food.

Diner Review №50

Monica! The best server ever!!!! The food is incredible! The attention of Monica was excellent! She makes this place even better!! I came with my wife for lunch and we have the feeling that this place is even better and excellent service than a lot of restaurants! 100% recommended. We had thai iced tea, fresh spring rolls, pad see ew and Thai fried rice! Food was delicious! We will be back soon! :)

Diner Review №51

The food was very ordinary , nothing special! I had the boat noodle soup ,too much sugar..did NOT taste like real Thai style..If you never had Real Thai food..it may be ok..but I guess most people have never eaten real Thai food..so for them it's ok...I like the real thing..I will never eat there again.

Diner Review №52

One of the best pad thai around. Large serving of chicken satay and always juicy, not dry like other places. Price is comparable to other restaurants, so I always come back here for thai food craving.

Diner Review №53

best thai tea ever

Diner Review №54

Support this amazing small business!

Lunch specials are great for variety, and curries, entrees, and noodles are great for leftovers. I can take a higher spice level on the curries because it’s cut with rice.
Sometimes they run out of seating space during lunch, but you can call ahead to get take out if it’s a busy time.

They make it very easy to eat family style. Everyone I’ve brought has enjoyed the food. 2 entrees can easily feed three adults if you’re not super hungry.

They have only one bathroom stall.

Some of the other Thai places in the area specialize in different things, especially appetizers, drinks, or desserts, but I’ll always choose to go here if I’m not right next to a competitor.

Your green curry chicken is the best!

Diner Review №57

I had a great time at Thai2you. The best boat noodle I have ever had since I moved to the US. Very authentic! They even have chili’s condiments!
Definitely going back there again.

Diner Review №58

Pad Thai was amazing. Love the lunch special sides.

Diner Review №59

This place was on point. Absolutely delicious. As a chef Im not easily impressed with going out to eat. Thai2You was super tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place I wouldn’t lie to you my friends.

Went here recently and was very impressed. First, the Thai tea was amazing; they brought it out in a 30oz plastic cup for $6 and it was very tasty, not too sweet and the black tea flavor is full and balanced. We ate the panang curry, pineapple fried rice, and pad see ew; all the dishes were beautifully presented, flavorful, big, and piping hot when brought to the table. The spice in each dish was done well. The restaurant itself is small but is well kept up, and has a good atmosphere. It was decently busy/consistent while we were there, so it seems to be a popular spot and the service was good. Probably the best Thai food I've had in quite a while, no complaints and would definitely recommend to anyone and will be going back!

Diner Review №66

Great!

Diner Review №67

One of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at since returning from Southeast Asia.

Diner Review №68

One of the best Thai food. Pretty good qantity for lunch. Make sure to say "no fish sauce" if you don't like it. Little small space, still pretty neat & clean. Veg spring rolls were just rightly cooked, crunchy flaky outside and soft inside.

One of the best Thai good I had. Our group ordered the pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and pad kha pow. All were delicious! Waitress was nice enough to explain the spice level. Service was great.

We were in the area and ended up here for supper, great food.

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

One of the best thai places in San Diego. Boat noodle soup is super delicious, probably the best that I ever try. Everything else is also really really good. Don’t look any further, this is the place to go if you want Thai food

Diner Review №76

Local Thai place with great flavors..!!

This small joint has good thai essence. The food is good but the service could be better. The staff is too rush to take order without asking you any other options. Hope it could get better.

Diner Review №77

Came as a party of one for lunch after an appointment at 11:45 am.

Five tables were open, yet the employee asked me to sit at the small table in the middle of the dining area as they might get busy.

I told her that I would rather not sit in the middle of the dining room by myself as multiple tables were open but she did not relent - so I left.

Very bizarre experience that I’ve never had anywhere else.

Good practice to make the needs of your present customer a priority over the ones who may or may not come in.

Diner Review №78

Good clean Thai food

Diner Review №79

Awesome food and very nice people. Really good cashew chicken dish with carrots, bell peppers and more. Good pad thai and thai ice tea as well.

Diner Review №80

Came in for lunch, ordered papaya salad, tom yum noodle soup and spicy noodle from lunch special. Everything was delicious, I liked the chili condiments on the table so I can adjust the spice levels on my own.

Diner Review №81

Small Thai restaurant but food and service is good. We had Pad See Ew, Chow Mein and Yellow Curry. We also had Thai Tea with Boba and it was delicious.

Diner Review №82

My family and I really enjoyed our boat noodles and tom yum noodles. Pho noodles were cooked with a nice chew. We like our soups on the sweet and sour side and it hit the spot! Bonus points for having all the chili, pickled pepper, and fish sauce condiments. We will definitely be coming back!

Best restaurant of any kind in the area. Perfect balance of nice environment and clean with beyond expectation food and presentation. We had yellow curry, ground beef dish, and seafood noodles. Mango sticky rice and fried bananas. Chef was detailed and everything spiced perfect. Even rice was evenly cooked and texture perfect. Best Thai meal we had in a very long time.

Diner Review №89

Small restaurant but great food. I ate the best dessert in my entire life here! Mango and sticky rice was unbelievable.

Diner Review №90

We were originally sad that Soi RB closed down, but now super happy and thankful to have Thai2You as it is now our favorite Thai restaurant in San Diego!

FOOD: Authentic and delicious! They also have dishes that most Thai places in town do not serve (ex. khao soi, boat noodles, nam tok, larb, etc.). Their boat noodles taste just like what we've had when we visited Thailand few years ago. We often see Thai people coming to Thai2You just to get their boat noodles - this is how you know their food is legit and delicious! Our favorites include: crab fried rice (they put TONS of real crab meat in there!), drunken noodles, Chinese sausage fried rice, pad thai, nam tok with beef, tiger cry steak, pad kra pao, etc. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu! They also serve the biggest cup of Thai tea in town - and you can ask them to adjust the sweetness level!

SERVICE: Their main waitress has amazing customer service. She is super friendly, quick, attentive, and great at giving recommendations for what to order!

Diner Review №93

I can recommend this Thai food if you are in Rancho Bernardo area. I personally like the Red Curry on the lunch special.

Diner Review №94

My boyfriend and I came in today4/21/22 for lunch. Server was not attentive to us and for the most part ignored us. When it was time to leave the server asked for a tip. My boyfriend had the intention of leaving Tip on table on our way out. However because she asked a tip in a hostile manner he decided not to give her a tip. The lady came after us by the door and said "next time if you come order to go" "tables are for tipping only". The location was not busy at all literally had two parties there with plenty of space for more customers. Tipping is based on service we do not owe you anything! Please reframe yourself from going to this restaurant.

I had my usual delicious yellow curry with white rice but I also added a side of broccoli and it was done perfectly. Love this place.

Diner Review №98

I brought friends from Canada here for dinner last night based on the good reviews. Our dinners were very good and the service was great! Thank you Si! We tried the appetizer sampler plate and spring rolls. All delicious and the spring rolls were placed artistically on the plate which was a fun surprise. Entrees were Chicken Chow Mien and Pad Thai dishes with shrimp at varying levels of spice. We loved it all. I'll be returning soon!

Diner Review №99

My mama and I came here for lunch and really enjoyed the service, food and ambiance. We both had the combo pad see-ew it was delicious! Will definitely come back here again to try other items on the menu!

Very friendly and the food is good. I order food here many times a week. I LOVE the Tom Kha soup. I also love the Mixed Vegetables Lover, and my old go to was Pad Thai at every Thai restaurant most of my life. Best of all, they make everything Gluten Free for me. Thank you! I wish you a lot of success!

Yummy thai food

Diner Review №106

I’m so happy to have found this new Thai restaurant near my house. I’ve had Cashew Chicken and Garlic Pepper Chicken so far and both were great! Particularly the Cashew Chicken. Exactly what I was hoping for in terms of sauce, taste, good chicken, and plenty of spice. And I like how the cooked carrots are cut thick enough to not be soggy. Best Thai food I’ve tried so far in North County.
