I usually rate most restaurants very highly, but I found this misleading for this restaurant. The people running the restaurant were very sweet. The food was extremely salty and heavy. especially compared to other Thai places. To give them a very generous benefit of the doubt though: This may be personal preference, as Asian customers might prefer weaker seasoning and salt, so the food could be catered to a different palate.
First time at this establishment. I was looking for a new Thai place to try because my regular place (which I won't name) has been letting me down. Well this place was friendly, clean, reasonable priced but food was just ok. My asparagus rolls which I thought said was to be tempura was so bland. My veggie egg rolls with an unique chewy wrapping was a taste I don't desire to try again. My veggie Thai rice was good however not Thai hot (per requested). The atmosphere was wonderful as well as service. But being a foodie the actual Thai food wasn't up to par for me. Gave 4 stars because of 3 is too low.
I ordered from door dash tonight. Food came with juice all over in bag. Food was super spicy and I ordered medium spice. It was Thai hot. $69.95 for rubbery fried tofu and cold. Fried squid was cold and papaya salad was dry and super spicy. Broccoli chicken with rice was super spicy as well.
Food was worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Not worth $70. I’ve been to Thailand 3 times. I know my spice and this was definitely not medium.
I will never order from here again.
Love love love this place. Food is top notch and we always end up loving everything. We usually order takeout and every time it is packed very well. We will continue to recommend this gem!
The food is amazing, full of flavor, and freshly made. The place is not very big, but it is not crowded either, which makes the atmosphere cozy. The music is not loud, so you can hear it in the background without yelling to have a good chat with your companion. Our waiter was very attentive and gave us space at the same time. This restaurant was our first stop on our vacation trip, but we will stop by again before returning home.
Such a great experience eating here! We were treated with a nice hello and a sweet smile and the food came out very fast. Everything was delicious, it was my boyfriend’s first time eating Thai and he was very impressed! We got the red curry, dragon roll and pad Thai. 👌🏽 Definitely recommend and will be back soon.
Best Thai food I have had so far. This is a small hidden spot not far from 49th st. that’s offers phenomenal Thai and sushi. They have quite a large menu that has a wide selection of options to suit anyone. For my first time here we tried some soup, the spring rolls, pad sea-eaw, house special pad Thai, and banana coins for dessert. All of the food was amazing! The staff was very nice and accommodating and I loved the intimate environment inside of the restaurant. They also had a sign that showed great sushi deals for weekday lunch that I plan on going back for. This was recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely by passing the recommendation onto others. This is a hidden gem that is a must try.
Our first time in while visiting a friend. Food was good, service provided by Pheng was excellent. I had the rainbow roll & krab Rangoon, my husband had the red curry & said it was excellent, perfect level of flavor with tender chicken but a little too heavy with bamboo shoots. My friend ordered the Amazing Sauce with chicken, a dish he orders often there.
Love love love this place. Food is top notch and we always end up loving everything. We usually order takeout and every time it is packed very well. We will continue to recommend this gem!
Real deal authentic Thai cuisine. Always get the chili tray to spice it up. Staff is super nice. Skip the sushi.
Didn’t eat here - online hours are incorrect.

Tableware was very nice. Glasses, teapot with proper cup, not plastic soda cups and mugs. Service was excellent. Food was very fresh and tasty.
This is the best Thai food I've had in the area so far.
This place is just ok. I come here for lunch at least once a month. The food is fine, service is ok, and the atmosphere is what it is.
It's a non-memorable lunch place, but the price is right.
Tier 1 Sashimi, sushi, and Thai...
My last supper in Pinellas Park before coming to Thailand.
The food is amazing, full of flavor, and freshly made. The place is not very big, but it is not crowded either, which makes the atmosphere cozy. Amazing experience! Wonderful service, best Panang Curry and Pad Thai. They have mastered their tofu as well. Definitely a fan favorite!
Love this place , always fresh and great service
The panang curry had no coconut or curry taste what so ever. Tasted like a broth of water and some hot oil. Not even red Thai chilli paste.
I threw it away because of this. The chicken and veg is in the panang and pad Thai were fresh and tasted good. The sauce for the pad Thai had very little tamarind taste to it at all. Although it was acceptable to eat.i order these two dishes when checking out new Thai. This was the first and last time here. Disappointing

Delicious and fresh every time!
Small but very good and friendly service, real food, nice serving.
Absolutely delicious. Lad Na chicken with Chinese broccoli. It’s my mom favorites dish. She had me ordered this twice this week. That’s all she wanted to eat while recovering from ER.
Good Thai food at an affordable price!
Our favorite dish is their squid salad, which is delicious when served with white rice. You really can’t go wrong with any of their Thai dishes though. However, the sushi here is just okay, it’s not fantastic and not horrible either. Definitely recommend sticking to the Thai food part of the menu.
The staff is always very friendly and we’ve eaten here too many times to count without a single bad experience. Definitely worth checking out!
I’ve been going here for many years no problems no issues but apparently their new role is even though they close at 9 o’clock at night. They don’t take any orders before eight or 820 to me. That’s frustrating that you’re open for 45 minutes in my takeout order is not appreciated.
Enjoy a variety of things Tempura sampler, sushi and soup. Specialty drinks thai tes and Thai coffee were excellent
Amazing sushi and pad thai, krab rangoon is the kids favorite..very friendly service
Finger licking good! Extremely Fresh and the sauces they use omg da bomb lol
Best Thai food I've ever had.
Quiet little place that has great food.
Love the foods and super friendly staff ❤️
Great food and service.
Good got my sick. Be careful
Staff was friendly and overall a nice experiencen. Food was delicious and was nice to get a meal thats reasonably priced with great portions.
Best Thai food in town!
Great food, great service
The food is delicious! The best Tom kha soup that I had. My family and I've been here a few time already and everything we've tried is delicious. The Thai tea is delicious too. The service is excellent. Pam is great and a very sweet lady. Overall this is hands down the best Thai restaurant in my opinion.
The service and food have been amazing every time I’ve been here! Very friendly staff.
It was ok. There’s better Thai in St. Pete for sure. I was shocked to see that the pad Thai was orange. Green curry was watery, but the spice was good.
Pretty Good Thai
In my opinion, a Thai restaurant must get at least two things right: Tom Kha Gai and Pad Thai. Sawatdee does well with the Tom Kha Gai—good flavor, tender chicken. The Pad Thai wasn’t quite as successful. It needed a fuller, richer flavor. Instead, it fell a bit flat. We also had a Chicken Red Curry which was good. The atmosphere is pleasant enough and the server was good. I would go again.
Great food, even better customer service!! The Thai Sweet Iced Tea is an absolute must!
The food was really delicious and fast. The tom ka shrimp was the best I've ever had. The krab Rangoon were seasoned better than any I've had. The sushi was great especially the lobster and free Nina rolls. Definitely returning. Give them a try and explore their menu too.
Never saw bright orange pad Thai , worst I have ever tried.
What a gem! Food made fresh, delicious flavors and great portion. YUM!
I have been coming to this restaurant for years now, the food is always fantastic! The food is fresh, authentic, and very tasty. The wife and I visit this restaurant several times a week and are always impressed by the quality other food produced here. This is a small family run operation, and they do not sacrifice the quality of the ingredients, and the way the ingredients are prepared.
If you are looking for good authentic Thai food, this is the place, if they ask you how spicy do you wanna make sure you understand that they are actually going to put Spice in your food !
I spent time overseas in Thailand, and I love my food hot , just now medium spicy is hot!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic, Restaurant !
Drunken Noodles are amazing, my one complaint is Thai hot isn't spicy at all but I add my own spice now so not a huge deal.
I love coming here! The food is AMAZING & the service is stupendous! What’s not to love?! Pam is so nice and always makes you feel very welcomed (even if you arrive 20 mins before closing time 😅). Also, they serve beer in freezing cold mugs!!!!
Scrumptious 😋😋😋
Best Thai food I've had in a really long time. Since Thai Pan Alley "rebranded" on the beach. I had pad see ew, roommate had pad Thai both overwhelmingly delicious.
Not sure if or when they will be re-opening…They have been closed down by health inspectors for a cockroach infestation.
Sushi rolls were excellent and plentiful. Service was attentive and precise.
This place is worth it. The best sushi I have ever had! And the desert is extremely delicious !!! The best coconut ice cream 🤤
I get their pad thai all the time, it's always delicious. They seem to always be dead when I come in so hopefully that's not common and hopefully they stay open for a long time
Fav place for lunch. Food is always on point and service is excellent. Hit this place once a week. Priced right and being so close to work cannot go wrong.
What a great Thai place in Pinellas Park. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I will definitely come back.
Outstanding Pad Thai.
The waitresses and waiters are adorable with authentic Thai Lao etiquette. Highly recommend, Laotians ambiance I love it
One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been too I've been coming here and get take out also sometimes delivery lol for few years now.
Great Thai food. Lovely service. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
Good Spot 🍣
We really enjoyed our experience at Sawatdee! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server, Pam, was so kind and friendly.
My very picky son ate two bowls of the chicken noodle soup. The rest of us all really enjoyed our dinner. It was fresh and full of flavor. This is definitely a place we will come to often!
Good food with excellent service. Definitely will be back.
Good flavors, fair price. Went for lunch with friends. Everything was tasty. The krab Rangoon was especially nice, not your typical. The green curry had good flavor, fresh vegetables. Nice little neighborhood restaurant.
Some of the best Thai food in Tampa bay area. Crab Rangoons, Thai tea, pad thai and tom Kai soup is great, always great service with a kind smile!
I regularly frequent this establishment and never had an issue prior. Amanda is typically my server and is absolutely phenomenal. There is a young gentleman who has been my waiter prior that was wonderful as well.
I decided to dine in today ordering a bento box and thai appetizer sampler. The sampler came out over fried which I didn’t like and let the server know. I asked for a to go box for my pad Thai and thai tea due to my lunch break ended. I left the soup from the bento box as I didn’t like it. After the bill came, I asked my server Kim, if she would take off the sampler as I mentioned to her before asking for to go box that I did not like the sampler nor did I eat it because it was over fried and hard. Her response was that I came in ordered to much food and I can’t just order things to “taste test”. I found this highly offensive and extremely unprofessional especially with the fact that the other customers heard her commentary that were sitting in front and behind me. As someone with over 15 years experience in hospitality from serving/bartending, that was very rude and uncalled for. If I wanted to taste taste food I would have gone to a buffet. As a regular customer, I always ordered a lot of food (never having an issue). A bento box and sampler is not to much in my opinion especially when if you like something you take the rest home in which I was not due to it being overcooked. When I asked to speak with the manager she was just as rude to me. Unfortunately as a regular customer my friends and I will no longer frequent this establishment due to the rudeness and unprofessionalism I experienced today. Whether someone is young or older, you should treat them with respect and kindness which was not the case whatsoever today.
Jack: 100,000 out of 100,000 stars.
This is the best Pad Thai in the county.
Food was amazing first time having Thai food definitely coming back
I was highly impressed with this place. My brother and I went here while on vacation, and some of the best Thai food I've had in ages! The service was wonderful, and they even explained which of the spices are for and how to use them, so we could make our food hotter if wanted. My brother was impressed that he got a frosted mug with his beer. We both got the Pad Sew Mow (spelling?), and it was phenomenal! Thank you for the amazing service and food!
First of all the water was delicious. So crisp and clean! For appetizers we ordered the chicken satay and it was fire. The sampler was on point, they definitely put love and care into their food and presentation. We order the crispy duck with green curry, and the soft shell crab panang curry. Amazing. The portion sizes for our main courses made sure we get to enjoy them again for lunch tomorrow, can't wait!
I was staying at near by hotel and was craving Thai. I found this place and took it for a spin. OMG these steamed mussels are delicious. Filled with so much flavor. This is my new place when I come back here for business.
The Thai food is the best in St Pete FL. We found them on door dash, and we are hooked!
Food had good flavor but shrimp were over cooked and chewy.
If you like Thai, Sushi and such this is the place to try. The lunch specials are incredible. I hate egg rolls but love them here. Their Chicken Rice Soup is awesome. Try it and you will love it here
Special peanut sauce with chicken on top of vegetables was good. Sushi was made to order and fresh.
Amazing
Delivery service not friendly, table service passive.
Friendly service and good food. I'll be back.
nice little place. good food and reasonable prices. waitress was kind and attentive. they definitely seem to cook everything fresh when you order it. tom yum soup is perfect. atmosphere is cute, cozy, clean. would definitely go again.
Really good black tea with cream wow. Also had some excellent sushi and fried rice. Would totally go back
My forst time in since I usually order uber from here when im under the weather. Very friendly and attentive server, food was hot delicious and fresh
Amazing service, and even better food! We'll definitely be back!
Love this place sushi
We were disappointed with our delivery order here. The sushi was covered in sauce and the pad Thai was bright orange.
Great Thai food. We’ve gotten Togo a few times and it’s always consistently fantastic. Best Thai we’ve found in Pinellas Park.
good
GREAT FLAVORFUL FOOD! We had the yellow curry, volcano roll, chicken fried rice and lobster panang curry the portion size was big. I tried everyone at my tables food everything was awesome. I live in the Destin area and will definitely be back every time I touch down in Tampa. Omg and the crab meat on top of the volcano roll was to die for.
This restaurant states that they open at 4 pm but doors were locked until 4:10 pm. Then we were seated. Five minutes later, the waitress comes in. A bit late to work? 😆 No worries, we didn't mind. But her service was so slow, distant, and she was rude, too. We put in an order for two sushi rolls, which were amazing btw. Then, she ignored us. We were the only customers there. She was sorting silverware for a long, long time. Were we bothering you? Okay, we asked for an appetizer sampler since we have never dined here and had a chance to look over the menu. But, she was rude and asked us if we "planned on ordering a bit at a time." Okay, we were planning on ordering desserts later, too... But since she didn't want us ordering a bit at a time, we didn't. We just got the check and left. She finally turned on a tv near us when we were leaving. The ambiance was quiet and there was a lot of loud banging of silverware. Nope. Not doing that again.
Everything was delicious. It is family run. Mom does the cooking. She is fantastic. Our first time but not the last.
PHENOMENAL FOOD AND PEOPLE!!!!
Not a large spot indoors, but comfortable. Staff is so friendly . Excellent food. My fav , volcano chicken .
Some of the best Thai I've had!
Pad Thai, pad kee mao, and curry dishes are all fresh and very flavorful without being overly rich.
Service is fairly quick and the prices are very reasonable.
Highly recommended
I've eaten here a handful of times and have ordered take out before. It's just okay, definitely not to my taste. The food doesn't have enough flavor for me and the pad Thai is overly sweet. Sushi that my friend ordered was okay the last time we were here.
Service is friendly but a bit slow the times we were in. Prices are fair, they are not as expensive as other restaurants in the area.
Red Curry & Som Tom papaya salad was amazing! Wouldn’t mind coming back at all!
It was good! My partner and I were “out of our neighborhood” and wanted some sushi, so I looked up what was nearby. They had amazing ratings and reviews, so this is the place I picked :)
I think the staff needed a minute to adjust to a tall girl with a deep voice, lol; but they were honestly fantastic!
The food was VERY good and I see why the great reviews are there. We over-ordered (as usual) and we had to take some of the rolls home. First time I’ve ever take sushi home and it was still really good later 😂
Service and food perfect. My new favorite place!!!
Their Thai tea is one of the best I’ve had. We ordered the pad Thai and a few sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. Service was on point, but we were the only ones there at the time. Would definitely return.
Small place great good. Some kind of lemon grass soup and a appetizer with ground pork and chicken..... so good!
4.5 is RIGHT..try it
Food was okay, service was good. Had to wait a long time to get my food, even the seaweed appetizer.
First time at this establishment. I was looking for a new Thai place to try because my regular place (which I won't name) has been letting me down. Well this place was friendly, clean, reasonable priced but food was just ok. My asparagus rolls which I thought said was to be tempura was so bland. The atmosphere was wonderful as well as service. But being a foodie the actual Thai food wasn't up to par for me. Gave 4 stars because of 3 is too low.
Great food and great service.
The food is fantastic 10 STARS … but for
me and my family the worst situation is every time that we are coming to this restaurant there is only one person doing everything … he is a waiter, cashier, receptionist, and busser , we have been customers for more than 2 years… PLEASE IF YOU ARE THE OWNER, HIRE ONE MORE PERSON… I am sure you will have more satisfied customers with the service and the food.
Update: Was the Best Thai restaurant in town by far when it opened, however, after that, not nearly as good. The Pad Thai is dry and tasteless, and the fried duck was boney. Not sure if they changed chefs, but the magic is gone. The sushi is still very good, tho, and owner is very nice.
Food here is amazing i ordered take out for lunch let my mother try some of my food and we all went back for dinner that same day we let the owners know how amazing the food was and they sent us a free order of donuts very sweet of them they have great customer service family owned business my family and I will continue to eat here and will let others know how great the food is⭐️
I saw decent reviews but when I went I was unhappy. The dumplings were okay. The chicken "drunken" noodle was very greasy and peppers were almost still crunchy. I hated the spring rolls. They were poorly made and burnt. No authentic flavor in anything. Kind of like getting bad chinese..
Nice staff, order was ready as expected. The food was not the best Thai we've ever had but decent.
Good and spicy
Food is so good
So thankful we ordered our dinner here tonight. First time trying this place and we are extremely satisfied! Everything we ordered were fresh and delicious. The seafood panang were 70% seafood and 30% vegetables, the scallops and shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection. The vegetables was fresh and crisp. The tom ka gai was very tasty and the chicken was tender and moist. The yum seafood was to die for and the papaya salad was seasoned just right, hot enough to make you take a deep breath but keep coming back for more. It was so good that I fear we will be disappointed on our next visit coz it just can't get any better! Thank you and we'll done! Multiple 5 stars.
Great food! I order often off Uber eats, it’s my go to because I haven’t been disappointed yet!
The food was AMAZING, and delivery arrived hot, fresh & even the shrimp tempura was still crispy; will be reordering regularly. The spice level was perfect for me, but I like SPICY, and I requested "medium" (the lowest spice level) since my husband doesn't quite have the tolerance I do. For those that don't like spicy you better let them know, cause they make it HOT like it should be.
Service was great
First time there, food & service was incredible
Ok
Good for the price and ambiance
Yummy yummy spider roll is delicious!!!!!
Very authentic. Food was delicious. Call ahead for papaya salad, not an everyday thing.
Never write reviews but felt compelled to because this places food was terrible and did not match their 4.7 rating. Crab Rangoon’s were weird and soy sauce given for sushi rolls had the consistency of molasses. Wouldn’t ever recommend this place.
My favorite Thai place to eat in Pinellas County. Food, portion, service and prices are great! It’s never that busy which is a surprise because everything is so flavorful! I was looking for a good thai place in the area and this is my go to. Highly recommend!!!
Very good food
Had the pad ke mow and the fancy duck entrée, they were both spot on very delicious! I love Thai cuisine and this place is a new favorite, highly recommended !!
Visiting St Pete and found this absolute gem. From the tom kha gai soup to the pad kee mow(drunken noodle), to the green curry, everything was amazing. The service was also outstanding. Our waiter Kim was polite and attentive. The food came out fast and fresh and flavorfull both visits soo far. The prices were also amazing. Lunch prices seriously cannot be beat. Sure we will be back again before we leave town. If you love thai food do not sleep on this place!
Our new favorite Thai spot. Incredible lunch and dinner menu. Lunch specials are very reasonably priced. We had the Fancy Duck, Drunken Noodles and sushi. Sushi was great also. Absolute gem to find this place. Great prices & staff. Amazing food overall. Hopefully recognized for Best of the Bay.
This restaurant checks all the boxes. Very clean, nice seating, varied menu, delicious food served piping hot
Good food. Very fresh. You can tell because it takes a little longer to come out. I'd go back. Prices are on par. Give it a try
Sooooo good! I’m 4 months pregnant and was craving seafood so I was excited when I saw that they were open at 11, unlike a lot of other places on a Sunday! I doordashed the Mexican roll, was great! I also ordered the steamed mussels and oh my goodness they are SO good!! The size of them are amazing and the sauce is perfect. 10/10 recommend to eat here! Thanks for making my pregnancy craving fulfilled 🥰
