THIS IS THE PLACE. This is where you get the best Thai & Lao food in all of Northern California. I have spent over 2.5 years living in southeast Asia and this place brings me back more than anywhere I've eaten. Everything we ordered was FLAWLESS. It's affordable, packed with flavor, the couple the runs it are kind and wonderful folks and it's in a cute little back alley setting just like you're in a tucked away corner of Chiang Mai. If you're considering going somewhere else, for the love of god, DON'T. You will leave this place full of joy. (No liquor but they DO allow BYOB!!! Even better!!!)
My favorite spot in Sacramento. This humble restaurant is run by a wonderful older couple who pour their all into this place.
As soon as you walk in your eyes will be drawn towards the cozy adornments and impressive plants and trees that have thrived under dedication and care.
Anything you order will taste like a home cooked meal. Do yourself a favor and come try a meal made with compassion. And then give them the compliments they deserve.
Thai sausage is the best Iβve had and the chili sauce is toasty and dark. Extremely good papaya salad, and you choose if you want Lao or Thai style. Tom yum broth complex & lemongrassy, if a few too many mushrooms maybe for us, shrimp perfectly cooked. Mango & sticky rice, sprinkled with sesame seeds, is to die for. With all the plants around the picnic tables you would hardly know this is a food truck. Very cute oasis in the alley, with great food.
I was really excited to try this place but fairly disappointed. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu but got chicken, and it came with zero vegetables (just noodles, sauce, and chicken). There were only two other people there who had already gotten their food so my order was the only one they had at the time. It's also not a great location - it's right next to the camp under the overpass and there were gunshots while I waited for my food at 6pm (still light out). The owners were super nice and provided great service, and the price was fair. But overall not vegetarian friendly and wouldn't stay to eat based on the surrounding activities.
This place is so special! Itβs a little tricky to findβ you have to walk around the corner and go through the alley, but once you do itβs like being transported to Thailand.
The food is clearly made with lots of love, and they were very accommodating with recommendations.
Great food at a great price.

Amazing flavorful food and friendly service!
My favorite food vendor at the CA State Fair. Excited to visit this new location!
Wow!! Stumbled upon this place and itβs amazing!! Lucious greenery, shade, cool on a hot day and delicious, affordable Lao/Thai street food. We will be coming back.
Amazing food. Family operated. Beautiful outdoor garden eating. Must check out. ππ
