Chicken was delicious texture. Green curry was waaaay too salty. I let them know and they gave a discount. I brought home and added more coconut milk to remedy the over-seasoning. Brought iced tea and coffee home to use as creamer because it was waaaay too sweet. Basically too much sugar and salt. Pad Thai did not seem authentic. I still enjoyed drunken noodles and environment. Was very appreciative for discount. Still tipped for service.

I ordered food via Uber eats. The menu states that the items come with rice. But they arrived without. I called the restaurant and the owner was very rude. She said they haven’t served the items with rice since Covid. I asked her to send me some rice or refund some of my money. She told me she is too busy to talk to me.

Food is okay. I ordered to go for the first time cause it's closer then the usual spot I order. I ordered the beef larb. It needed more lime juice otherwise it was good. I also ordered the chicken skewers. The chicken satay needed more seasoning in my opinion and it was a bit dry to my liking. I also got the eggplant dish. That also needed more seasoning. It tasted bland. The only things I really enjoyed was the fried wings and papaya salad. I felt like they americanized the food too much and lost the authenticity.

I posted on Yelp and I’m posting here. I walked in an hour ago and ordered the sweet and sour chicken. I had it before from this place and it was delicious. This time I don’t know what happened. Maybe it was a different cook. I would have preferred that they had told me they didn’t know how to make it instead of taking my $18. I paid $2 to get extra chicken but they still gave me the lunch portion size. They just gave me more vegetables. This is disappointing but I was thinking it would get better. It didn’t. The sauce wasn’t even sweet and sour sauce. They gave me tom yum sauce. It had some of the stewed tomatoes that’s in their Tom yum. They threw some pineapples in the sauce. I guess this was to throw me off. The sauce wasn’t even the thick consistency of the s&s sauce. I’m so disappointed. I’m angry that I wasted my money and I can’t take it back because I’m 20 minutes away from the restaurant. Maybe they thought I didn’t know what I was asking for. The food wasn’t good at all.

They good at preparing your meals your way. Prices reasonable but I was told yesterday that they will raise them because theirs suppliers already charging them much more. Super inflation is on the way.

Mean and rude. Made my order wrong called and the young lady took down my name. The next day when I attempted to retrieve my order I was yelled at by the older very mean and astonishingly rude woman. Try Chang's Thai in the Pomenade Center off Truxel and North Freeway Blvd. Their service is great and food is too.

I came here and ordered drunkin noodles and it was delish the first time. Came a week later again and got the same dish and it wasn't the same. I payed 2 dollars for extra noodles and didn't seem like I got my extra noodles that I paid for. I think they added extra taxes to our order as well because it seemed higher then usual. Probably won't be coming back again.

During these Covid times they can be tough to communicate/place your order (1st call range 2o times then disconnected. 2nd call they picked up after the 10th ring was put on hold twice before I get through my order. Once you do the food is tasty, They did overload me with rice (3 full size containers for 3people). Got to have patience with them.

Our take out order was not what we asked for. It was so spicy we could not eat it and had to throw it out.

We arrived before the lunch crowd yet didnt get our food until after. Our order was wrong and they didnt return to our table until they gave us our check. Never asked how the food was. We ordered two dishes from lunch menu and it took 45 min.

Can’t comment the food, because we never even got service for 15 minutes after sitting down.

Waitress was preoccupied with a customer issue, which we understood, but were disappointed in no attention given to menus or water after the situation was seemingly resolved (and the waitress paying attention to a customer she knew that arrived after us).

Not to mention, probably the last thing you want to experience after entering a restaurant is a bunch of commotion. As every service related book says — “the customer is always right. “

By tending to the customer issue, they saved $5 for a problem customer, and lost $40-50 of business from us.

Yellow curry is crazy delicious. Tried over a dozen items on the menu everything is always fresh and never disappoints. My favorite is the yellow curry with a side of sticky rice.

This is a terrible place to eat based on customer service. They gave me the wrong take out order and then refused to make it right. They wanted me to come back to the restaurant (over 2 miles away) so they could verify that the had actually given me the wrong dish, as if I'm going to the trouble to scam them over an $8 lunch special. The owner was belligerent, confrontational and generally unpleasant. Will never go there again just out of principle. People should learn something about customer service and basic decency.

Food is tasty, but staff is very limited, especially before 6pm. The wait to order has been 20 minutes or more. This latest time my order was not taken correctly but I accepted what was brought anyway. Otherwise it's a nice place for a relaxed meal. The cucumber water was good.

I have been going here for years! Love their food and the spot. It's not super big inside but not really small either. Tables are just in the open area. I normally order Togo. Lunch time is madness- super busy. Combo veggie medium spicy is my go to.

Server is always angry. We ordered egg rolls, she brought meat rolls, we specifically mentioned not to bring meat rolls. When we said this to her about this. She just ignored it.

I've only been once, but I intend to return! Food was very good (and suitably spicy for the level I requested!) and they even stopped by to chat with us while they were closing up. This is one of those hidden gems that is worth it if you like good authentic thai food.

Service was not good at all. Some of our order was brought out but several other items were completely forgotten about until we asked. Just simply not enough staff to cover.

I tried Bangkok city for the first time today and it was awesome! The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered papaya salad, red curry chicken, drunken noodles and Thai iced tea for myself and my brother. I will definitely be back!

Food is delicious (panang, red curry, veggie egg rolls, thai cashew nut, pad thai are all the different items i've tried so far in 6 months) but service isn't the best. Only 1 person working and she's answering phones, taking orders, serving food, taking payment etc. Etc. Too much work for 1 person! I almost always order carry out and have been quite happy with the food and it's always ready in the amount of time she tells me. Will be going back. At least for carry out.

I ordered food to go! The pad Thai was good. The fresh shrimp rolls were BAD, the lettuce tasted like the refrigerator and there was no flavor. The sauces were terrible, the worst peanut sauce I’ve ever had and the other sauce was indelible too. I hate throwing away food but I’d never order those again. Decent size portions but I won’t be back 😞

Ok place to eat

Not recommended at all. The place wasn't clean (tabletops, etc.) and there were several cracks/chips in the glass table cover (over the tablecloths) that cut my friend on her arm when we sat down (minor, but still unacceptable). Every table accept 3 were empty when we arrived @ 1:15PM but ALL were covered w/ dirty dishes from the lunch rush! No busing service, the single waitperson (nice and apologetic) was handling all the clean up and order taking by herself. It took 10 mins to get seated, again only 3 tables were occupied...so maybe that poor wait staff was in back cooking or doing dishes! Also, food (spring rolls & Tom Kha Gai soup) had very little flavor - Thai ice tea was good.

I absolutely love the curry dishes with brown rice. I've tried the yellow, green & red and they are all equally delicious.

The service was horrible and I had ordered hot and the sever told me she didn’t have time to make me hot tea. Then she brings me a dish I didn’t even order. Then my friend ordered a dish, the server came out and said they didn’t have any more. The not even two minelayer the fish my fiend ordered magically appeared. Huh?! It obviously was someone else’s order because it was spicy when she ordered mild. I was really disappointed! I wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic food. My go-to. I've been loving the "Meat and Vegetables" menu... particularly the Thai Chili Basil plate, the Garlic Lovers, and the Ginger Lovers. I mostly eat their chicken. I've tried the tofu which was good too (I asked for fried tofu). I love the vibe inside. Very colorful with awesome art on the walls. This place rules. I highly recommend it.

I went there for lunch and ordered the pad Thai. It was blan to say the least. My wife’s food was also pretty boring on the side of taste. I won’t bother to go there again with better Thai places in the area.

I don't know what's going on with Lotus, their food and service used to be excellent, but the last couple of times I ordered food it was not only bad it was horrible, I ordered Wor Won Ton soup and granted it was right before they closed, it tasted like they gave me whatever they could find in a bowl!! Then today I took my son to have dinner there, I ordered garlic chicken and there was not a taste of garlic, but it looked like they cut up a whole onion, with some mixed vegetables, I asked the waiter what was these little sliced brown things on my plate, I was thinking maybe they were garlic, Why did the waiter pull out his phone and google it!! I'm done with Lotus, they need to get the old cook and server's back.

The eggplant in their Spicy Japanese Eggplant was not flavorful like I have had at other Thai restaurant. I would guess that it was not cooked in the sauce for very long. However, the service and food were both very fast, price was great, and the food was good other than this one issue.

My cousin & I were craving Thai food and decided to try some take-out. We ordered inside & the woman taking our order was very sweet & even complimented our pronunciation of the menu items. The prices were reasonable, portions were fairly standard for asian restaurants (so a bit large) and even the person who wasn't too keen on Thai enjoyed the Chicken Satay and egg rolls. Drunken noodles & Pad-see-ew were both very good. Pad Thai was just okay.
