The dishes were mixed between good and ok. Tom yum with shrimps was good, sour and little spicy. Thai beef jerky was over cooked, some pieces are tough. Sticky rice was good with the jerky and beef larb. Egg rolls were okay, not sure what type of sauce. Pad thai was ok. It does not look like or tasted like pad Thai I had before. Service was good. He was friendly.
Excellent authentic Thai food! Everything is just delicious!, can’t thank them enough!
Always make it a point to eat there everytime we’re in the area!
Best in the Inland Empire! We've been to almost all the Thai restaurants between redlands and Laverne and overall
is the best. Been eating here for over 20 years and always end up coming here. Best and most unique version of Panang is served here, a must try. It's kinda hidden so it's never crowded. My wife is going to get some food here as I'm writing this.
The food was AMAZING,absolutely worth it. The prices were so much better than other Thai restaurants we've been to. Their yellow curry was IN-CRE-DI-BLE, just like their fried rice. The owner was really nice and kept asking if we needed anything and filling our cups with water. Overall, great restaurant, will go back asap.
Came here Monday for dinner and it was so delicious! We had the Tom yum, red curry, and drunken noodles. The food was phenomenal, lots of flavor, spicy but not too much. Will definitely be back, this is our new favorite spot!
Completely agree with Melinda’s review some months ago. Edible food - certainly the worst “Thai” I’ve ever had. Bland, lacking any traditional semblance to Thai ingredients (not a hint of Thai chilies, Thai basil, fish sauces, lime leaves, etc). I was surprised to find beef broccoli (!?!? Is this Panda Express inn) on the buffet along with common stir fried Chinese egg noodles. Curry on the buffet was so mildly spiced that it tasted like plain coconut milk. Not impressed. Will not be back. Sorry.
I understand how locals might like it after a lifetime of coming here. But anyone who is actually interested in a Thai meal will find many better options, even just around the corner (Thai House, Benjarong, and Mu to name a couple).

Excellent Tom Kha Gai!
I placed and picked up a huge order and the staff were very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently for me to pick up my food in a timely manner!

I’m glad I discovered this place. The menu is a little different from other Thai restaurants and the spices, food and sauces are the bomb! I had Laab, which is ground meat with lots of onions and cilantro on a bed of fresh crispy romaine. 😋
The food is fresh, and delicious. They are very accommodating. When someone requested to lower the music volume due to headaches, they promptly did so.
I ordered silver noodles with vegetables and tofu. So much food and such good flavor. We arrived early for dinner and were served quickly.

We enjoyed a large family dinner here with 7 adults, a baby, and a combination of dietary needs including, meat, conventional tastes, healthy-tastes, gluten-free, no-msg, vegetarian, and vegan.
The waitress and chef were outstanding at accommodating us - including our gluten free needs. The chef even came out to address a question and ensure our satisfaction. They said just about everything can be made gluten free and msg-free upon request.
The food tasted amazing, clean and fresh without any msg added. Not too heavy. Cooked perfectly. We had about 12 dishes and everyone was very pleased with everything.
The vegetable soups were excellent and the broth was very good even without msg. Real broth, not just water.
Masuman curry, chop suey, and everything else were all excellent.
The baby enjoyed watching the fish in the tank.
Seating was comfortable and plentiful.
Parking is abundant and easy.
We would definitely eat here again!
Great tasting Thai food best in the city
Really nice.
Great Food, low price and nice service
Good food and friendly staff
Staff was so friendly and attentive and the massaman curry was delicious

Really good food. On par with other Thai restaurants in Redlands.
Delicious, large portions, great atmosphere, kind and attentive staff and not a single complaint both times I've been. I will be coming back again and again!
good, freshly made food.
I was looking for a luncheon after my father's funeral, and this was referred to me by my cousin 1. (i will call them by numbers lol) I didnt know that the owner was one of my other cousin 2 best friend, while my cousin 1 told me to talk to cousin 2 so i can get a discount.
as much as she has good intentions, im not there to ask for a discount, i will treat this restaurant like a normal restaurant that i go to. first of all, i met the owner, Chai, he's a pretty cool and nice guy, i know i asked him such a short notice but im glad that he was able to accommodate at least 30-40 people, but i dont think we had at least 30 people in the funeral which is also good.
and also the funeral ended an hour early, so i was able to call Chai to get there an hour early instead, and he was ok with it, i didnt mean to rush his employees but im glad they were able to cook everything on time, when we got there.
2nd of all, i gave him the orders that we wanted ahead of time, so they can serve it when the people arrive there. we were suppose to use the back place, but he said the AC didnt work, so we were seated at the front with all the other guests. i think we ordered about 5 dishes, per table so were stuffed.
the food was delicious and im hoping to go back when im in the area, so thanks Chai for the wonderful service. i wish i took some time to take pics of them but i was too hungry to take them lol but i give this restaurant an 8/10.
Best rich flavor food
Great food. Great service. Fair price. Definitely coming back
I love this place. I love the guy who greets you every time with his positive attitude. We order pork chow mein and pad Thai 2-3 times a month. Not gonna say it’s the best Thai I’ve ever had but it’s addicting and delicious in its own way.
My family and I love the Eastern Classic Thai Restaurant! We go there almost every week. My kids say it's the best Thai food ever!
Poor quality food. The oil used to make the egg rolls had to be more than 4-5 days old.
Honestly, just a poor eating experience.
Great, fresh and healthy food. I will from time to time eat at their lunch buffet. Perfect lunch at a very good price. Recommend to those who want delicious food without the guilt. enjoy.
Called to make a reservation they said “ just walk in” they don’t accept reservations! Went there, lady at the front desk asked! “ Do you have a reservation? If not you will wait for 45 mins! 🥵🤭
Really good food great prices
Some of the simply best Thai food in the area, and one of the most under rated places. Unlike a lot of other Thai places, the food is not overly sugary or adjusted to American tastes, and it's always fantastic. Nick always makes us feel very comfortable and he's just a great guy.
Great food and great service!
Been coming here for nearly two years and the food has always been spot on! Whenever my wife and I travel, we try to stop at a local Thai restaurant. This by far has been the best!
The best Thai Spot in All the Inland Empire!!!
Eastern Classics will always be my #1 favorite Thai restaurant, although for some specific dishes I do enjoy others in the area (Phad Woon Sen & Orange Chicken at Mu for example).. All of my favorite dishes at Eastern Classics have a sweetness to them that is so pleasing; the Phad See Yew is sooooooo addicting, the Chicken Sate with that PEANUT SAUCE (omg), and they used to make their Thai Lemonade so sweet too (it’s tangier now, meh).. I’ve never found another Thai restaurant that tastes anything similar to Eastern Classics. Peanut sauces elsewhere are always spicy and strong, while EC’s is sweet and almost like a dessert. Phad See Yews can sometimes be more oily and salty, while EC’s noodles are moist and tender, tasting of a wonderful sweet soy flavor… I just can’t recommend these two dishes enough. And their Thai Iced Tea is the best I’ve had anywhere.
Anyways, just go there already lolol
Also, Nick (the owner) is so dang nice. I’m definitely thankful to him for being such a kind friend and providing such good service all these years :) always a smile on his face, and a relaxed demeanor when helping customers :) please be kind to him!!
Clean place, reasonable prices. Staff was very nice and friendly, the water kept being refilled.
Once I got my plate, it was different than what I expected.
I got the beef salad, the beef was tender but not fresh. The salad came with grill onions, cucumbers, and lettuce. The beef portion was very generous but there was a certain powder ( grounded bone?) in the beef that made it hard to eat. The rice was ok but tasted old. I have to say that I didn't enjoy it very much, which is a shame because it was recommended as very good.
Overall I came in wanting a Thai experience but the salad dish I got lacked the typical Thai flavors and veggies.
I think my mistake was asking for the salad (since salads are not my forte) but it tasted like any other beef salad not much difference.
Please have more pictures of the plates to make selecting easier and avoid being dissapointed.
I am willing to come back and try other entrées. I have watched enough Kitchen Nightemares to know that small restaurants struggle and sometimes have to recycle items from one day to the next but customers always can tell when this happens and it doesn't make a very good impression.
We ordered the fried fish. It was inedible. It was tough and fried ti oblivion in rancid oil.
Friendly service. Good food.
Small mom & pop Thai full service restaurant with great food. They make their own curries from scratch and it shows. Will return soon.
Delicious and sweet pad thai on top of excellent service. They keep me coming back.
BEST THAI IN REDLANDS EASILY, pad thai is BOMB
Best, most underrated Thai in Redlands. Food is extremely flavorful and out of all the great Thai around here, this is the place I keep craving. (The Goey-See-Mee is to die for). Also, even when every other restaurant seems to be careless about COVID with no masks and close indoor dining, Eastern Classics is still being safe and for that I can feel good about giving them my business and recommending them to everyone I meet.
Muy bueno
This place is always delicious.
Average in taste but they give you a good amount of meat. Unfortunately the taste just isn’t there.
Great food great host
Management so kind and warm!! Our favorite authentic THAI PLACE ! YOU SHOULD MAKE IT YOURS TOO!! CHECK THEM OUT
We love this restaurant. Family atmosphere. Great food. And very friendly. Best in town
This classic Thai restaurant has been feeding the locals for over 30 years!!! With yummy g dishes prepared with love it’s a great family style restaurant!

Good selection, everything I've ordered has always been delicious. The staff is always very friendly for both done in and take out. Would recommend for small groups as well. They also have a small reception room in the back for events.
Very good food! Been in business for decades in this location! Large menu, awsome choices! Can't go wrongwith this Thai food. Fast service in a small restaurant with lots of charm.
Delicious thai food.
The taste was amazing.
They're always super friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious! They have the best wonton soup. 😊
Echt authentiek eten voor weinig geld. Hier geldt ook, hoe poverder het restaurant uitziet, des te lekkerder het eten. Een aanrader!
Great food! We had a banquet here and got to sample a variety of dishes. Fried rice, pad thai, pad see ew, curry, and a variety of me mixed vegetable dishes. All of it was cooked really nicely, and all very flavorful and bright.
Very small lunch buffet. No Pad Thai or curry dish on the buffet which I expected to be basic. Food was bland very little seasoning and no spice/chilies used in cooking.
Good foods but way too oily for me. Really unhealthy. Otherwise, just love the native Thai foods.
I've been eating here for seventeen years. My family and I are great friends with the owner Nick. Whenever we come in, we are never dissatisfied. Prices aren't too bad either! If you're looking for a good deal and a good meal, this is the place to go. I recommend trying the eggrolls!!
The food is generally pretty good here. We've had one occasion where the egg rolls seemed stale but we haven't run into that problem since then.
Great food fair places friendly service Definitely a place to eat good food
Great food!
My husband and I decided to go here because we'd never heard of a Thai buffet before. Weekdays 11am-1pm only, $9.
The price was decent for a buffet, but the food was really lacking. Honestly, the worst Thai food I've ever had, which hurts to say. Most was bland...some dishes just seemed like Panda Express, like the broccoli beef and fried rice. I tried almost everything, but the only things I went back for were the noodles (good) and the fried Thai chicken (really good). Altogether, I would definitely not go again. Good to try once, but that's it.
Very good food. Very good prices as well
Great Thai food...a hidden gem!!
Never disappointed when I come here. The service is always good. The waiter is very friendly and attentive.
One of our local favorites! Very friendly staff. Good lunch buffet and an expansive menu with a healthy variety of Asian dishes.
Not that much food for the price
The owner is extremely nice, and the duck curry is on point.
Place was pretty good.
👍🏼 Flavorful and fresh soups which can be an excellent choice for winters and reason enough to visit this place often
👍🏼 Everything on menu is customizable to a veggie/vegan option
👍🏼 Cozy and homely
👎🏼 Maybe it's a one-off event but the restaurant had a stink inside. Maybe its the towel used to wipe furniture or something, but suggestion to staff to invest little towards removing any unpleasant odor
Food was delicious..!
If you like this kind of food then go there it's really good
The service here is great! Thai yellow curry, Thai red curry, and glass noodles are delicious.
10000 thumbs up!
Food and service was perfect.
Get #49!! And Thai tea w/coconut milk!!! Wow
Food, service, speed is all great! I definitely recommend it!
The best fried rice I have ever had. Friendly prompt service and food made to order. This restaurant is family run and owned. After going there a couple of times the owner calls me by name. It feels good when you walk through the door to be greeted by the owner and given a seat immediately. I don't recommend too many places so when I spend the time to do this, better believe it's good.
We stopped in for lunch while getting our bikes repaired nearby, and so glad we did! The green papaya salad with beef jerky was delicious, and our server was incredibly friendly and made great recommendations.
horrible food and they served sink water
We love this place
Buffet was not bad. Very limited choices but ok for the $8 price tag. Good egg rolls.
The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. I had dinner there tonight and I can't wait to go back!
Nice thai food
Been coming to eastern classic for over 10 years, the food is consistent, price is reasonable and service is exceptional and friendly. Tom yum soup is great, and so are their noodles. Eastern Classic is truly a gem and a local favorite.
Good Classic Thai food half price beer for happy hour from 3 to 6
Good food and good service.
Good food and always friendly service. You can choose tofu instead of meat for any dish to make it vegetarian, but it's not listed on the menu.
Food was very tasty. I had multiple guests and they all liked the food quite a bit. The main area for improvement would be the decor and maintenance of the restaurant
It's definitely in need of a makeover, but don't let that hold you back from trying this restaurant.
Nice inexpensive place for brunch. But they are kinda slow with refilling their buffet table. They only cook a little bit at a time so that it stays fresh, but a little too little.
Good food all around. Remember food is cooked from the Eastern style. It is different from the North, Bangkok (middle), and the South. I recommend chicken 'laarb' and papaya salad.
Best Thai restaurant in Redlands.
Food is great for the price
Best seafood fried rice. Great service too.
Food tonight was exceptional and as normal Nick provides great service.
Great foods n great atmosphere
Amazing food. Thai rice, glass noodles, bbq pork. All good
Amazing food here ready to go, I highly recommend this to anyone.
I wanted to like this place. I was hoping to have it as a new lunch take-out spot. I love Thai food, eat it frequently. One of my favorite dishes is a Thai beef salad.
The one I got here was the worst salad of any type I have ever had. It smelled bad, looked bad, and tasted so bad I had to throw it away.
With all the positive reviews they must have something going for them. Unfortunately that was not my experience.
Delicious duck curry. Spicy but with notes of coconut to balance
Food was delicious and the service great!
Great food, friendly staff. Will definitely be returning here often. Though simple to make, they definitely have the best Masaman Curry I've experienced stateside. Laab chicken was decent too.
Food is fantastic, service great
This restaurant appears to be declining from its former 5-star ratings. Went with a group of 5 on a Saturday evening and the place was empty. Waiter took pains to explain that a large group had just left, but I wasn't convinced. Two curries, a phad thai, garlic chicken, and a spicy shrimp dish were good but not great. With Thai you hope for the subtle flavors of basil or coconut to balance the heat. On this night the chile peppers were far too dominant. It's better than 3 stars, but it's not 4 in my book.
Best Thai food in Redlands for sure. Everything is amazing there. I eat a lot of thai food and this is my favorite place.
Nice place to take a date. Try the red bbq pork, and the lemon chicken is the best.
