Added hot chili sauce this time to spice it up. Consistency is lacking in how the dishes are prepared and portion size. We hope this will change as our family had been enjoyed New Thai Bistro since they had increased portion size about a year ago. Delicious! I had se eww pad Thai w chicken and we all shared appetizes and our main dishes lotta food they don't skimp! I loved my Thai tea was just like i like it my Thai noodles perfect! Fried rice w shrimp excellent also we had gyoza ,(pot stickers) very good and ragoons the kids loved. I ordered a side Salad it was in a huge bowl w arugula Greenleaf tomatoes onions I asked for side of Thai dressing peanut sauce which I love! Shared salad as it was enough for 4 adults! All that food and take home containers! Tastes great next day too. Definitely going back we all loved it 10 stars! Prices are good too!

Love their Roti Trio and crispy Tofu! Also their Veg Basil Fried rice is spicy as well as tasty!

I loved this place. Had it not been for Southwest Reward dining I wouldn’t have gone there. It’s not in downtown Pleasanton- just in an old strip mall. But this restaurant is great. The food was spiced just right for my American palette. I want to go back for the unique drink flight.

Ordered food to go. Ordered Tom Yum soup with Tofu and soup came with no tofu but bunch of cabbage and carrots. Flavor of soup and green curry was below average. This is our go to Thai place and have to find a new one now. Very disappointed with the quality of food.

First time. I looove Thai food was super excited to try this cute Lil place. I ordered the new year special appetizer and my favorite yellow curry chicken and rice. The appetizers were ok seemed like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for quite sometime. The curry was delicious 😋 the only thing was hardly any potatoes. But There was A lot of chicken so I was absolutely ok with it because the flavors were on point! I will definitely be back to try again. I did not get an authentic Thai taste for the food .. super mild and toned down but ok to give a try .

Ordered delivery, pad thai sauce was watery and vinegary and didn't even taste like pad thai or peanut or fish sauce. It was super bland and the broccoli was old and half rotten. The thai iced tea just tasted like sugar and the citrus chicken dish my husband got had rotten lettuce served with it and was also incredibly bland and fast-food-ish. I'm actually baffled at how the Thai food was so bland.

Went here on late firday afternoon. Loved the ambience and food both. Lots of parking space in front of the restaurant. The host is amazing, always smile on face and gave us good suggestions on what things we need to order.
Will definitely come to this place again when we are in the area.

I got the Thai chilli fish. The size of the fish is huge! It was enough for two meals. I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. However, it was sweet and not spicy enough. I added chili sauce (sambal) and it was perfect.

My dinner was delicious. Chicken satay was fresh, hot, and delicious, and the greens it was served on were also very fresh. There was no skimping on the chicken they gave me. I'm very satisfied with this wonderful dinner and the value was great.

We ordered sampler appetizer, Tom Yum soup, yellow curry, soft crab curry and green tea.
We never got the sampler, I usually slurp the whole Tom Yum soup, but was way too salty, soft crab wasn't fresh at all! They were saggy and taste it funny and end not eating them. They never brought the green tea either. What a mess up from server to food... nothing went right.

Unfortunately the two times I've ordered food from the place I've been very underwhelmed. Pad Thai was far too ketchup and Tom yum soup was not flavorful.

Food was amazing! We had pad thai and tropical rice. Personally, I like it with a little more of salt and peanuts, but overall was really good. The rice was great, loved the curry flavor and the cashews and raisins on it. Lovely combination! I totally recommend it!

Even fried rice was bad compared to other Thai restaurants. Didn't feel like authentic Thai food. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try Thai food here. Biggest mistake for choosing this place today.

Really enjoyed our meal here. We had the Prik king with shrimp and a Ka Prah with shrimp ... Both were something that I would order again. Very tasty and yes, the shrimp was fresh !! I will move this to a 5 star, if it's just as good next time !!

Had the Panang Curry w/ chicken and brown rice. It was delicious!

Liked the place, the food was good, staff were patient and happy to help. Prices were nominal. Usually curry come with rice but here you would need pay extra. Overall ambience is good unless they make you sit in the corner where it doesn't feel great since it's right behind the counter and you can see all the unwanted stuff lying around.

I struggle with 1 and 2 stars.

- I was swatting flies away from the food.
- they seated people within 3 feet of us during Covid.
- Our seafood dish was missing the calamari which is one of the three main parts.
- the vegetables tasted like freezer burn
- basil chili chicken had no chili there was almost no spice and it was so overcooked it was dry.

Just wasn't great. Food was okay drinks were good and the staff was friendly... But overall just okay.

Mediocre service, worse food

While everyone enjoyed their food, little things here and there irked the group - warm instead of hot tea, warm instead of hot rice. Chicken Satay was a little dry, possible due to how thin it was. Ambience was lovely and the tables have jalapeños, red peppers ans chili pepper sauce already on the table.

Our go-to place for Thai food. Super delicious with consistent quality. Have eaten here more than a dozen times! Every single dish is worth trying.

I don’t ever leave reviews but this was an exception. I’ve had good food here before, but never ordering here again.

Worst dinner ever. My Pad Thai was old and only had dried noodles and sprouts. The tofu was clearly very old and dried out. They sent the wrong drinks with my order. I'm so disappointed. They didn't care and I will never order from here again.

Mango was fresh and tasty, very little fiber. Sticky rice was really nice packed and soft and chewy. Coconut was a really nice touch

Citrus flavored balanced the grease on the fried coating on the chicken. Fried rice was well spiced, not overpowering, and compliment the rest of the dish well.
*Pad Thai smile*
Shrimps and chicken were well cooked, both were tender. The noodles stayed together because of the delivery, but it didn't take me much effort breaking them apart and stir.

A pleasant surprise. I've never tried basil in fried rice myself, I think I might attempt this at home.
My only complaint was with uber eats. Everything I ordered on the platform was a bit more expensive than ordering on their own web site.

Nothing to say that is bad. The Thai is good and the management has a good system for COVID Ordering. It is popular so think ahead.

I ordered Calamari and other food, Wednesday Sep 30, and what I got: Calamari at least 2 days old, even Cabbage are not fresh in the delivered box. Too bad, Thai bistro! We ordered delivery of your food at least 1 time/month to support local businesses but probably it was last order from you for my family.

Food was delicious! We sat outside on the patio which was nice alternative to take out. However, they used plastic plates and cutlery to serve the food on due to this Corona virus business and it made the "dine in" experience a little awkward, otherwise the food was great.

I ate the Thai BBQ Pork and it was delicious. It was sweet and came with a quaint little salad. Out door seating today for 12 people.

Felt like giving this place a try. Didn't have time to call in advance to pre-order. As soon as I got to the restaurant for to-go, the menus r on the right side of place. Once u know what u want, u go forward to the counter to order and pay. Due to Covid, it is better not to linger and maintain a safe distance from each other. Food was good. Can't complain. Will go back again.

1. Walked in after famishing ourselves on a 5 mi hike. Was ready to carb it up and ruin the perfect hike we just had. :P

2. Stared at the menu, decent amount of options.

PAPAYA SALAD $8.50 Thought whoa baby that is expensive for papaya salad but portions were HUGE! I wish there were more peanuts, citrus, and garlic, but it was OK.

GREEN CURRY: could eat this one all day. Generous portions, and great flavors.

PAD KEE MAO: surprised they didn't ask me spice level, I had to add more spice. I am EXTREMELY picky with this dish, kind of my baseline. What I look for, good wok flavor, good veggie/meat to noodle ratio. Thoughts? WAY too saucy. Noodles perfectly chewy. Didn't care for the squid, still tasted like squid. Shrimp was def boiled as opposed to wok fried. I would rather have this with chicken or pork.

3. SERVICE: nice staff, they definitely got busy, but kept our water filled.

4. RESTROOM: clean, but toilet doesn't work correctly. Have to hold the thing down for a LONGGGGGGGGG time to get it to flush. Oh and it could use a refresh of paint. Unfortunate because the restaurant itself is beautiful!

Overall a decent spot, but def gotta choose your dishes wisely.
