Thai boat noodles were good and decently priced. A little salty but meats were very good and tender. Service was great.

This small cozy Thai restaurant has great service and delicious food! When they say spicy they mean SPICY! Prices were reasonable. Food was fresh and served quickly. I'll definitely be craving their drunken noodles!

So clean! Seemed well run. The food was amazing. My friend from Thailand said it was quality Thai food. Would totally recommend it.

Diner Review №9

Noodles are amazing and the broth has so much flavor. Warning the spice levels are Thai Spicy so if you can't handle spicy I suggest mild or no spice and add your own

Don't forget get the Thai tea

Diner Review №10

I love their food and service 😋 😍 🤗 ! There is so much to eat! My kids love it here!

Diner Review №11

Gonna have to agree with most people here. Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. So flavorful. You gotta try this place.

Diner Review №16

This is by far the best Thai food I've tasted, every thing we have ordered there was extremely flavorful and very authentic.
I have been to Thailand many times so i know authentic Thai food when i taste it.
The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
The car park can get a little full but there is extra parking at the rear.
Id like to say this is a hidden gem but its getting quite popular with the staff from the hospital over the road.

Diner Review №17

Dish, I got had too much egg in it. I am not very big egg fan. Other than that, food was hot and fresh. Wait staff was nice and friendly.

Diner Review №18

This spot is easily top-3 best Thai food in the valley. Very very good food here. Friendly staff. If you like Thai food then you need to try this place.

The first two times we went, this place had a rating of "A" and the food was good! The third time we went, the rating had fallen to a "B" but we didn't know this until we had reached there as it was an order to go. The shrimp was horrible-squishy and tasted uncooked, the glass noodles tasted okay. However we will no longer be getting food from here; hopefully things will improve and get back to an "A"..also hoping they get back that great quality tasting shrimp we once/ twice, knew.

We ordered 4 items and one dessert. The seafood items ( glass noodles shrimp salad, and basil shrimp with rice) were very tasty. So tasty, we will go back for more one of these fine days. The service wasn't that wonderful; the woman was a bit abrupt but after tasting the food, we decided we can put up with the "attitude" as the food tasted that good. My daughter says the dessert was delicious!

Hoping the food quality remains, will update next time.

Diner Review №33

I really enjoy the quality and taste of this restaurant. It's very authentic and delicious. A friend recommended this place and now I bring my family to eat Thai food here. To me it's a hidden gem!

Ras Noodle in Los Angeles is a culinary gem that offers a unique fusion of flavors from various Asian cuisines. As a food enthusiast with an adventurous palate, my recent visit to Ras Noodle left me intrigued and delighted by their creative dishes.

The ambiance at Ras Noodle is casual and laid-back, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for diners. The restaurant's interior is simple and unpretentious, with a focus on the quality of the food rather than elaborate decor. The vibrant colors and playful wall art add a touch of charm to the space, making it an ideal spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

The service at Ras Noodle is friendly and attentive, reflecting the staff's commitment to providing a pleasant dining experience. We were greeted with warm smiles and seated promptly. The staff members are knowledgeable about the menu offerings and were happy to provide recommendations based on our preferences.

Ras Noodle's menu is an exciting blend of Asian flavors, offering a wide selection of noodle dishes, stir-fries, and appetizers. We started our culinary journey with the Thai Basil Egg Rolls, a unique twist on the classic appetizer. These crispy egg rolls were filled with a flavorful blend of Thai basil, vegetables, and tofu, accompanied by a savory dipping sauce that perfectly complemented the rolls.

For the main course, I opted for the Pad See Ew with Chicken, and it was a delightful choice. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked, stir-fried with tender chicken and fresh vegetables in a savory soy-based sauce. The dish had a lovely balance of sweet and savory notes, making it a satisfying and comforting noodle dish.

My dining companion chose the Spicy Kimchi Noodles, a dish that brought together Korean and Thai flavors in a delightful fusion. The tangy kimchi paired harmoniously with the spicy Thai-style noodles, creating a unique and spicy explosion of taste.

Ras Noodle also offers a variety of refreshing drinks, including Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee, which added a pleasant touch to our dining experience.

Though we were already quite satiated from our flavorful main courses, we couldn't resist sampling their dessert offerings. We shared the Mango Sticky Rice, a classic Thai dessert that was beautifully presented with perfectly ripe mango slices and sweet sticky rice drizzled with coconut milk. The dessert was a delightful blend of textures and flavors, providing a sweet and refreshing conclusion to our Asian culinary adventure.

Ras Noodle in Los Angeles is a culinary destination that stands out for its creative fusion of Asian flavors. The casual ambiance, friendly service, and flavorful dishes make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a taste of Asia with a unique twist. While the overall experience was commendable, a few more standout dishes or additional beverage options could elevate the dining experience even further. Nevertheless, for those looking to explore a diverse range of Asian cuisines in a relaxed setting, Ras Noodle promises an intriguing and satisfying culinary journey. I look forward to returning to sample more of their inventive and delicious dishes. Recommended!

The best Boat Noodles this side of Bangkok

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

For a very competitive pricing and savory of the food, its the best in town. What we recommend : Shrimp or Combination fried rice; Pad thai noodles and Chinese broccoli with crispy pork - the last item is very popular.

Ordered a small Thai Boat. Finished it in 3/4 bites for reference. For $8 I'd say thats about fair considering how expensive food is getting. It was delicious. Will definitely get a large next time. My husband got a large and finished it in about 7/8 bites too, but for $10.50 it was reasonable also .

As it’s name would suggest, you can’t go wrong with their noodle soups. When ordering noodle soup, you get to choose what kind of noodles (egg, flat, pho or thin). You’ll then choose your spice level. This place is authentic Thai so be careful when you ask for something spicy.

Aside from noodle soups, a few of my favorites are your basic Pad See Eaw and Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). And you can’t forget the Longan Juice and Mango with Sticky Rice! 😋

It’s a small place and can get packed during the lunch hour. Luckily, the food is prepared fresh and super fast.

Well I'm back again eating at this restaurant. I think it's been at least 5 years since I've been here. I've been coming here year 2000, and it's always been good the owner is nice and friendly and the staff also. The food is consistent always good and clean. So if you're not been here I suggest you try it and you will like it. Thank you and have a great day.

Diner Review №57

Diner Review №58

Food always Delicious, service is not the best, and atmosphere is blah ots a small place and usually very noisy and crowded, especially if you show up between 1145 and 2pm

Diner Review №59

Basil over rice dish shows a fried egg in the menu and on the wall. But doesn't come with one. Apparently it's EXTRA. No where on the menu says "add fried egg for $x". Disappointing.

Diner Review №60

Great place! Had Pork Pad Tai and it was amazing!

Diner Review №61

Numerous times I’ve been asking for boat noodle with the medium rare livers but constantly it came out way too well done! Hard enough to chewing up . Those who knows how perfectly cooked livers should have been especially when asked specifically for rare cooked. Finally I had an classic answer after many visits that they made the “pre made already cooked livers” that should have been cooked a day or two before!

Diner Review №70

I bought sticky and mango for take out with some noodles. The food was ok, but the mango was white in the inside. This place sells it for $12 an order. When I went back I told the owner to tell her supplier that the pe mango was bad and an order is not cheap. The owner said everything is expensive. I agree everything went up, but that doesn't mean that the supplier can pass the bad mango to the consumer. I will not recommend you to buy the mango sticky for to go. Don't you think this reflects the business owner?

Diner Review №71

I can’t express how special this little hole in the wall is. We stumbled upon it after the birth of my second child at Kaiser. Remembering how mediocre the food was with my 1st and the lack of food for my spouse, my husband did a quick google search and picked Ras Noodle from the other 200 Thai restaurants in the area. And boy were we happy. The best coconut soup I’ve had in my life. They use good quality mushrooms and most ingredients are just perfection. Their pad see ew is phenomenal and their grilled pork salad is to die for. We also love Mina’s coconut sticky rice with mango. We now order her cakes for events! What’s the most special thing about this place for me is that both my sons (5 and 2) love it and it actually might be my extended families favorite meal. Whenever we get together and want to order in, we always get Ras Noodle!

Diner Review №84

Ras Noodle is a small authentic family-owned Thai restaurant with Vietnamese influences.

Free parking in a shared lot with a few eateries and stores. Located on the west side of Woodman.

Ras Noodle offers takeout and order ahead options as well as dine-in service.

Choose from classic dishes like Pad Thai, fried rice, pad woon sen, drunken noodles, or roast duck, pork or beef over rice, rice vermicelli, spaghetti, and other noodles with protein choices are popular options. House specialty items like spicy salmon curry, or spicy crab salad and more traditional Thai dishes are my personal favorite.

My favorite dessert, Che Thai is available, but not listed on the menu. Che Thai, or 'fruit salad' is a dessert soup usually made of coconut milk, toddy palm, exotic fruits and juice, sweet beans, jelly, and sometimes corn. Exotic fruits like jackfruit, lychee make an aromatic sweet scented floral flavor. I love it.

Great service. Amazing food. Cash only.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and it's one of our favorite noodle soup spots in all of LA. There are a lot of Thai options in LA but as with everything, they all are not equal. Ras delivers on the authentic noodle soup you would get if you were walking the streets in Bangkok.

The staff here are all super nice, service is decent and attentive. If you are looking for authentic hoy ka style noodle soup then Ras is your spot.

🇹🇭 THAILAND
Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:
One favorite of Valley-dwelling Thais but relatively unknown in wider Los Angeles food media is the almost seven year old Ras Noodle, which does not focus on any region in Thailand but presents some of the most delicious noodles in the city.

Diner Review №104

The shop is small and clean, the service is quick, and the people who work here are friendly. I always order #17 and have become a regular here because of how tasty and comforting their food is. The crepe cakes and desserts in the cart next to the register are also delicious.

It's best to order ahead for pickup, since the parking lot and the shop itself tend to be crowded.

Diner Review №114

WARNING: the "medium" spice level here tends to be more on the HOT side — but in a good way — you've been forewarned. You're welcome. 🙃 The portions at Ras are on the smaller side than most, but they still pack big flavor. Two of my go-to menu options are both the Brocolli and Crispy Pork (don't forget the fried egg, now) and (Dry) Tom Yum Noodles. "Medium" spicy, por favor! 😉

Amazing. My Wife’s favorite place for Thai Tea as well. We don’t live close but we always drive out here for pick up and when fully open we will continue to go in for Dine In. Staff is always kind and helpful and makes us feel like we are family. Thank You for the great yummy food and thank you for being open with this craziness going on now. We can’t wait to come back and dine in.

A great hidden noodle spot when you're craving it. This is a Thai restaurant so they do their noodles different from other places. My parents like their duck noodles while I prefer the boat noodle. The spiciness depends on what you order... we got 3 dishes, all mild. One was truly mild, one was a little spicy and the other would be spicy enough to be considered medium in most other places. If you have 0 tolerance for spicy food this is probably not the place for you.
Imo, the food was amazing!

Diner Review №145

I just ordered two entrees and they asked me when I ordered, did I want it spicy. I told them no, make it mild. Now I'm eating and it's spicy out of this world. I won't order food there anymore.
