A culinary journey. Ordered the number 5. I was forewarned that when the waiter asks how spicy, always say mild if you can’t handle heat. Glad I did. Everything about the soup was perfection. Ordered a Mango cake for dessert and was blown away again. Small portion is perfect but I will order a large next time so I can enjoy more of the taste. Cheers!
Thai boat noodles were good and decently priced. A little salty but meats were very good and tender. Service was great.
Love this place! We come here all the time when we want a great home cooked meal! The staff is wonderfully nice and the food quality is consistent! Can't ask for anything better! Affordable prices and huge portions! Definitely one of our favorite spots! We've been here many times and surprisedly haven't posted many reviews! When you want quick, friendly service and you're ready to throw some food down, definitely visit Ras Noodle.
Update
2019.04-12/1700: Man, oh man! Xāh̄ār k̄hxng phwk k̄heā xr̀xy! Their food is delicious! We love visiting them because of the delicious food and excellent customer service. Each time we've visited, the food is consistent in quality and taste. The aunties here are so kind that it feels like we're eating at my relative's house. That goes the same for the food! Today we had the Papaya Salad and Thai Sausage. You will not be able to find this sausage anywhere - we've tried. Everywhere we go, it's the same noodle dishes - Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Wun Sen, etc. This is why we order them! We've recently discovered their Larb, too - delish!
Tonight the hubby had the Duck Noodles and I had the Tom Kha Gai Seafood! Couldn't help but get the same thing because the broth of the Tom Kha Gai had the perfect creamy and sour broth with the right amount of heat! I usually get the mild because that's enough heat! Again, my soup was LOADED with fish, shrimp, mushrooms, mussels, squid and tripe. Everything about this soup is comforting. I KNOW I will still be here in the summer ordering this dish!
My husband had the Duck Noodles. I can't even describe the broth to you because it was also delicious! The consistency was like a light gravy with hints of anise and five spice, possibly?!! It, too was loaded with roasted, tender duck. I can't believe how good it was. The husband said he doesn't know what he's gonna do now because he's hooked on the broth!
Before we left, we noticed they had the Mango Sticky Rice in stock! We doubled up on our order! The insane thing is, we saw them stock up on it and within the hour, the stock disappeared. Even with take away orders, people called in and were ordering the Mango Sticky Rice in bulk. We wanted our share because we noticed within the last two weeks, you can't get Mango Sticky Rice anywhere. You really have to look because the dessert takes about a day to prep and another day to cook it, if it's really authentic. Their portion of this dessert was HUGE! They even present it beautifully that you don't want to eat it! The mango was perfectly ripe! I can't stand getting mangos and they're not ripe - it ruins the dessert completely. I wanted to dig into them on the ride home! You can SMELL the sticky rice when you open the bag! Don't be a "B" and do yourself a favor and get more than one - you'll thank me later, I promise. The stickiness in the rice was PERFECT! How? I've tried this at home and failed miserably! The dipping sauce balances out the sweetness so much that you'll wish you had two containers of it!
If you're looking for authentic, this is the place to be. One word: proper. It's "proper" when you see the elders from Thailand dining there each time you visit. It's legit, we promise! We've heard people complimenting their food while we were there saying it tastes like their back at home so that shows you it has to be good!
One huge thank you to the staff there - they make it happen! Oh and we will be back next week!

This is by far the best Thai food I've tasted, every thing we have ordered there was extremely flavorful and very authentic.
I have been to Thailand many times so i know authentic Thai food when i taste it.
The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
The car park can get a little full but there is extra parking at the rear.
Id like to say this is a hidden gem but its getting quite popular with the staff from the hospital over the road.

Good Food, simple restaurant, freindly service!!!!
So clean! Seemed well run. The food was amazing. My friend from Thailand said it was quality Thai food. Would totally recommend it.
I love their food and service 😋 😍 🤗 ! There is so much to eat! My kids love it here!
Gonna have to agree with most people here. Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. So flavorful. You gotta try this place.
Small restaurant but good food and fast service. Also pretty affordable.

Dish, I got had too much egg in it. I am not very big egg fan. Other than that, food was hot and fresh. Wait staff was nice and friendly.
I got chicken fried rice and it has no flavor and taste burnt maybe other foods are good but I defiantly would not got this again :(
Small hole on the wall. The food is Amazing and the waiters are so atentive. Doo dee noodles are amazing
The first two times we went, this place had a rating of "A" and the food was good! The third time we went, the rating had fallen to a "B" but we didn't know this until we had reached there as it was an order to go. The shrimp was horrible-squishy and tasted uncooked, the glass noodles tasted okay. However we will no longer be getting food from here; hopefully things will improve and get back to an "A"..also hoping they get back that great quality tasting shrimp we once/ twice, knew.
Affordable price great Thai food I love it ❤️
We ordered 4 items and one dessert. The seafood items ( glass noodles shrimp salad, and basil shrimp with rice) were very tasty. So tasty, we will go back for more one of these fine days. The service wasn't that wonderful; the woman was a bit abrupt but after tasting the food, we decided we can put up with the "attitude" as the food tasted that good. My daughter says the dessert was delicious!
Hoping the food quality remains, will update next time.
I really enjoy the quality and taste of this restaurant. It's very authentic and delicious. A friend recommended this place and now I bring my family to eat Thai food here. To me it's a hidden gem!
Ras Noodle in Los Angeles is a culinary gem that offers a unique fusion of flavors from various Asian cuisines. As a food enthusiast with an adventurous palate, my recent visit to Ras Noodle left me intrigued and delighted by their creative dishes.
The ambiance at Ras Noodle is casual and laid-back, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for diners. The restaurant's interior is simple and unpretentious, with a focus on the quality of the food rather than elaborate decor. The vibrant colors and playful wall art add a touch of charm to the space, making it an ideal spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
The service at Ras Noodle is friendly and attentive, reflecting the staff's commitment to providing a pleasant dining experience. We were greeted with warm smiles and seated promptly. The staff members are knowledgeable about the menu offerings and were happy to provide recommendations based on our preferences.
Ras Noodle's menu is an exciting blend of Asian flavors, offering a wide selection of noodle dishes, stir-fries, and appetizers. We started our culinary journey with the Thai Basil Egg Rolls, a unique twist on the classic appetizer. These crispy egg rolls were filled with a flavorful blend of Thai basil, vegetables, and tofu, accompanied by a savory dipping sauce that perfectly complemented the rolls.
For the main course, I opted for the Pad See Ew with Chicken, and it was a delightful choice. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked, stir-fried with tender chicken and fresh vegetables in a savory soy-based sauce. The dish had a lovely balance of sweet and savory notes, making it a satisfying and comforting noodle dish.
My dining companion chose the Spicy Kimchi Noodles, a dish that brought together Korean and Thai flavors in a delightful fusion. The tangy kimchi paired harmoniously with the spicy Thai-style noodles, creating a unique and spicy explosion of taste.
Ras Noodle also offers a variety of refreshing drinks, including Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee, which added a pleasant touch to our dining experience.
Though we were already quite satiated from our flavorful main courses, we couldn't resist sampling their dessert offerings. We shared the Mango Sticky Rice, a classic Thai dessert that was beautifully presented with perfectly ripe mango slices and sweet sticky rice drizzled with coconut milk. The dessert was a delightful blend of textures and flavors, providing a sweet and refreshing conclusion to our Asian culinary adventure.
Ras Noodle in Los Angeles is a culinary destination that stands out for its creative fusion of Asian flavors. The casual ambiance, friendly service, and flavorful dishes make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a taste of Asia with a unique twist. While the overall experience was commendable, a few more standout dishes or additional beverage options could elevate the dining experience even further. Nevertheless, for those looking to explore a diverse range of Asian cuisines in a relaxed setting, Ras Noodle promises an intriguing and satisfying culinary journey. I look forward to returning to sample more of their inventive and delicious dishes. Recommended!
The best Boat Noodles this side of Bangkok
Ordered a small Thai Boat. Finished it in 3/4 bites for reference. For $8 I'd say thats about fair considering how expensive food is getting. It was delicious. Will definitely get a large next time. My husband got a large and finished it in about 7/8 bites too, but for $10.50 it was reasonable also .
As it’s name would suggest, you can’t go wrong with their noodle soups. When ordering noodle soup, you get to choose what kind of noodles (egg, flat, pho or thin). You’ll then choose your spice level. This place is authentic Thai so be careful when you ask for something spicy.
Aside from noodle soups, a few of my favorites are your basic Pad See Eaw and Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles). And you can’t forget the Longan Juice and Mango with Sticky Rice! 😋
It’s a small place and can get packed during the lunch hour. Luckily, the food is prepared fresh and super fast.
Can't complaint, vy good
The # 5 is super comfort food, so delicious 😋
Very kind service and very good noodles for a surprisingly affordable price.
Favorite Thai food restaurant, family owned. Quick service and delicious food
Well I'm back again eating at this restaurant. I think it's been at least 5 years since I've been here. I've been coming here year 2000, and it's always been good the owner is nice and friendly and the staff also. The food is consistent always good and clean. So if you're not been here I suggest you try it and you will like it. Thank you and have a great day.
Good service! Got the tom kha soup, it was greasy not the best. Excellent pastries though
Food always Delicious, service is not the best, and atmosphere is blah ots a small place and usually very noisy and crowded, especially if you show up between 1145 and 2pm
Basil over rice dish shows a fried egg in the menu and on the wall. But doesn't come with one. Apparently it's EXTRA. No where on the menu says "add fried egg for $x". Disappointing.
Great place! Had Pork Pad Tai and it was amazing!
Numerous times I’ve been asking for boat noodle with the medium rare livers but constantly it came out way too well done! Hard enough to chewing up . Those who knows how perfectly cooked livers should have been especially when asked specifically for rare cooked. Finally I had an classic answer after many visits that they made the “pre made already cooked livers” that should have been cooked a day or two before!
It was ok
Love the springs rolls.
Me gustan los enrollados que tienen platano Amarillo adentro.
Best soup I ever ate
I bought sticky and mango for take out with some noodles. The food was ok, but the mango was white in the inside. This place sells it for $12 an order. When I went back I told the owner to tell her supplier that the pe mango was bad and an order is not cheap. The owner said everything is expensive. I agree everything went up, but that doesn't mean that the supplier can pass the bad mango to the consumer. I will not recommend you to buy the mango sticky for to go. Don't you think this reflects the business owner?
I can’t express how special this little hole in the wall is. We stumbled upon it after the birth of my second child at Kaiser. Remembering how mediocre the food was with my 1st and the lack of food for my spouse, my husband did a quick google search and picked Ras Noodle from the other 200 Thai restaurants in the area. And boy were we happy. The best coconut soup I’ve had in my life. They use good quality mushrooms and most ingredients are just perfection. Their pad see ew is phenomenal and their grilled pork salad is to die for. We also love Mina’s coconut sticky rice with mango. We now order her cakes for events! What’s the most special thing about this place for me is that both my sons (5 and 2) love it and it actually might be my extended families favorite meal. Whenever we get together and want to order in, we always get Ras Noodle!
Is real authentic Thai food, Make sure and try the Krispy pork in Chinese broccoli.
Delicious Thai noodle soups! Highly recommend for a no frills lunch that hits the spot.
Awesome authentic Thai taste..very on point everytime
Today's clean people-friendly nipple delicious I recommend this place
I love the Doo Dee noodles with yellow noodle, because the tiny beef ribs are delicious. I order it everytime I have to go to Kaiser for an appointment. There's a ton of parking in the back. I get No Spice for my son and he loves it.
Ras Noodle is a small authentic family-owned Thai restaurant with Vietnamese influences.
Free parking in a shared lot with a few eateries and stores. Located on the west side of Woodman.
Ras Noodle offers takeout and order ahead options as well as dine-in service.
Choose from classic dishes like Pad Thai, fried rice, pad woon sen, drunken noodles, or roast duck, pork or beef over rice, rice vermicelli, spaghetti, and other noodles with protein choices are popular options. House specialty items like spicy salmon curry, or spicy crab salad and more traditional Thai dishes are my personal favorite.
My favorite dessert, Che Thai is available, but not listed on the menu. Che Thai, or 'fruit salad' is a dessert soup usually made of coconut milk, toddy palm, exotic fruits and juice, sweet beans, jelly, and sometimes corn. Exotic fruits like jackfruit, lychee make an aromatic sweet scented floral flavor. I love it.
Great service. Amazing food. Cash only.
😊🤗
I drive from Palmdale to go to Ras....was going when it was the Ord. I love this place I love the food, I love the staff
You got to choose your own noodles. It’s tasty, very friendly and fair price.
My wife and I have been coming here for years and it's one of our favorite noodle soup spots in all of LA. There are a lot of Thai options in LA but as with everything, they all are not equal. Ras delivers on the authentic noodle soup you would get if you were walking the streets in Bangkok.
The staff here are all super nice, service is decent and attentive. If you are looking for authentic hoy ka style noodle soup then Ras is your spot.
le epic
food was so good,, definitely a favorite. its a nice, chill spot. great customer service :) recommended lol
Always order togos from here, loved their noodles.
🇹🇭 THAILAND
Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:
One favorite of Valley-dwelling Thais but relatively unknown in wider Los Angeles food media is the almost seven year old Ras Noodle, which does not focus on any region in Thailand but presents some of the most delicious noodles in the city.
The shop is small and clean, the service is quick, and the people who work here are friendly. I always order #17 and have become a regular here because of how tasty and comforting their food is. The crepe cakes and desserts in the cart next to the register are also delicious.
It's best to order ahead for pickup, since the parking lot and the shop itself tend to be crowded.
Amazing food!
Good and affordable food.
WARNING: the "medium" spice level here tends to be more on the HOT side — but in a good way — you've been forewarned. You're welcome. 🙃 The portions at Ras are on the smaller side than most, but they still pack big flavor. Two of my go-to menu options are both the Brocolli and Crispy Pork (don't forget the fried egg, now) and (Dry) Tom Yum Noodles. "Medium" spicy, por favor! 😉
Best noodles around will always come back
We love their food. One of our favorite spots to go to or order pick up. 29. Fresh Chili is my favorite. Along with Pad See Ew with Shrimp. The whole family loves the Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp. Amazing. My Wife’s favorite place for Thai Tea as well. We don’t live close but we always drive out here for pick up and when fully open we will continue to go in for Dine In. Staff is always kind and helpful and makes us feel like we are family. Thank You for the great yummy food and thank you for being open with this craziness going on now. We can’t wait to come back and dine in.

A great hidden noodle spot when you're craving it. This is a Thai restaurant so they do their noodles different from other places. My parents like their duck noodles while I prefer the boat noodle. I also tried their fried meatball before and their sweet&sour sauce is soo good. Their parking lot in the front is very compact and limited but they have more parking in the back.
I love the service and have been going there since i was around 3 years old. It has been a place my family can always go to together and enjoy food.
Outstanding noodles can't wait until I get a chance to go back.
very good noodles with good flavor and seasoning. great service as well, food came out pretty fast
Cheers!
I could eat their Tom Yum and Doo see noodles all day!!
La comida no esta buena y esta mas cara que en otros lugares
Delicious BBQ Pork soup!!
Amazing quality 👌 and authentic Thai restaurant. Always packed but it's 💯% worth the wait. Pricing is not too bad you definitely get your money's worth and some.
The spiciness depends on what you order... we got 3 dishes, all mild. One was truly mild, one was a little spicy and the other would be spicy enough to be considered medium in most other places. If you have 0 tolerance for spicy food this is probably not the place for you.
Imo, the food was amazing!
I just ordered two entrees and they asked me when I ordered, did I want it spicy. I told them no, make it mild. Now I'm eating and it's spicy out of this world. I won't order food there anymore.
Excelente comida, si quiero regresar!
Spicy
No vegetarian but they are willing to substitute in tofu.
Best thai boat noodles. Used to come here weekly for work lunch.
Coming here is like going to your mom’s or grandmas house for some legit delicious homemade comfort food. You leave this lil restaurant with a full satisfied tummy and knowing you didn’t break the bank eating out. We absolutely love the hardworking staff here and will continue to support Ras Noodle for cooking delicious meals.
They freely exchanged my dish Becuase there is blood in the soup which I can not eat. Nice customer service.
My favorite spot for Thai Boat Noodles! Im so addicted to that broth its sooo good!
This place is a little gem in a small plaza...
Portion size of food is amazing, always fresh, and if you grab noodle soup they give you an options of 4 noodles to pick and a small size bowl or large bowl...
Their stir fry with holy basil is good, crab cakes, drunken noodles....So far I have no complaints of this place...Amazing...
Great food! My go to place for noodles
Delicious food!
Great place to eat
Great food.. Reasonable price.. Must try
Exellent cómida Thailandia
Love it!
I love noodles it's yummy
Great place for boat noodles.
Absolute delicious! I ordered soup number 5 and shrimp Tom yum soup. Both were mild but their mild is HOT HOT HOT. Service was very sweet and helpful. Thank you
Legit Thai food. Not quite up to the standards of the very best, but it's close enough that most won't be able to tell the difference.
Prson on the phone has horrible accent. Impossible to understand, maybe in person is better.
One of the best Thai food restaurants I've ever eaten at. I love their potion size of food and it's pretty cheat and very delicious I would eat here everyday if I could.
Authentic Thai food that still bring orginal taste of thai food. Their boot noodles and crispy pork broccoli still the best.
Love the food.
Boat noodle. Get it.
