Family owned Vegan restaurant serving hand crafted Thai and Asian dishes. Organic and MSG free. Home-made Thai Desserts now available !
Food is delicious. We really enjoyed the roti, cashew nut, spicy eggplant, and basil friend rice. The food has a slight spice to it, bit nothing overwhelming. Everything is seasoned well. Will definitely return.
Small restaurant with limited seating, but can reserve a table. Parking can be found in the alley, but only 4 spots and you might have to double park. We were able to find parking. We arrived about 15 minutes after the opened, so it was just us when we got there.
A nice little spot with even nicer vegan food! Thai cuisine in vegan healthier version, even tastier. All the sauces are without additives, glutamate, etc. Everything was great. I wanted my meal take away but then my husband decided to stay and order too! I got crispy chicken with sticky rice, he got fresh rolls and orange chicken. We both enjoyed our dishes and will come back.
A cosy small seating restaurant, with fabulous food.
Host is very friendly and helpful. My 6 year old ordered "tomato soup with garlic bread ". The host graciously explains lack of such soup, instead said he can make a veggie soup with tomatoes in it. Which was delicious and my kids was proud to order it..
Also one of my kid was coughing, host voluntarily got hot water so kids can feel better in throat.
All the food we ordered was flavourful and fresh.
Green curry tofu, lentil burger, dumpling with yellow curry. Fresh rolls sticky rice and Mango.
We left feeling like, we been to some one's house than to a restaurant.. A true homely feeling..
Next time when we are in the area will definitely visit.
Vegan Thai place. It had so many great options in the menu. The food was fresh and hearty. We had such an aweful time finding vegetarian food at universal. This place gave is an absolute must for vegetarian or vegans staying close.
The only place in LA I could find vegan cream cheese wontons when I was craving them. The food was all good, both the Asian options and the not so Asian options like the hamburger.
Yummy food but made me feel so nauseous the next 24 hours. Something’s up…

Delicious Panang curry ever! We will be back!
Hands down best yellow curry! The ingredients were fresh, savory and hot as if it just got off the stove.
After having spent thousands of dollars at this restaurant over the years, I will no longer buy from them ever again. Their burger either has hair in it or it tastes soapy.
Very simple restaurant with a GREAT food! The curry is amazing! Vegan and no vegan people should try
Super cozy and inviting atmosphere, the food was good, I had the chicken sandwich (do recommend)
Wow! This is one of our new favorite authentic Thai vegan places in Los Angeles (or perhaps, the world)!💚 It's a small cozy spot - almost hole-in-the-wall-appearing but also has cute outdoor seating! We ordered the rice paper rolls, pad thai w soy chicken, papaya salad and the mango sticky rice - all delish! And while it looks like there's literally no parking at the front, there is some parking at the back. It looks like a small family business too, which I always love supporting!
Cowboy burger is out of this world. Amazing take on Vegetarian food.
The most amazing Vegan Thai food. Hidden away, tiny but portions are nice and priced right. We tried pot stickers, veggie rolls, pad thai, fried rice, fried chicken and Thai ice tea. All delicious
Simply the best Vegan restaurant i have ever gone to. The whole menu is Vegan friendly and everything has been delicious. The wait times on food are short, so it would make a great lunch break destination. Service is always great here and the art on the walls always makes me smile.
We go to Universal Studios a few times a year and this is now our dinner destination everytime we leave the theme park. I wish I lived closer to Veggie House, because I would love to eat here once a week.
UPDATED: Visited LA for a week and Veggie House was one of my “must visit” places. Gotta say, 7 years since the last time I’ve been here and they still got it 110%. Probably one of the the top 5 vegetarian/vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to — especially if you love Thai food.
Expensive, but the food is well worth it. It's not often that you get an all vegan/vegetarian restaurant, let alone one that specializes in Thai cuisine. The restaurant itself is tiny, maybe 7-8 tables but you can order on Grubhub. Would definitely recommend the fresh roll.
HIDDEN GEM 🔥
By far the best vegan/vegetarian Thai food in he area! I’m not even a vegetarian but the fake chicken they got is amazing. For real recommend if you’re in the area!
The yellow curry add chicken.. 🔥🔥🔥
Excepcional food, Extremly delicious!!!
I'm half Thai but not vegan, and I brought my vegan friend here. The food was pretty good in our opinion! We got Thai tea (good, considering it's vegan), egg rolls (just OK for me but I generally don't like restaurant egg rolls), and drunken noodles (pretty good). The dining room is tiny but nice and bright on a sunny day. Our waitress was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. The prices weren't bad either, so definitely try it out if you like Thai food and are in the area looking for veg options!
Delicious vegan food! The prices are decent and the service is quick and efficient. I've been going here for years (when it was Vegan Express) and definitely recommend this place! My favorites are the pineapple red curry, pad Thai, and Thai iced tea. They also are very accommodating in making things gluten-free.
Amazing. We all ordered different items, and they were all perfect. Really delicious. Highly recommend!
We went to Universal studios in May, and found this nice vegan Thai restaurant next to our place of stay. Being vegetarian, we were thrilled with the options this provided us. We went there multiple times over two days, dined in, took away. All the food we tried was great! Definitely recommend the place!
I want to franchise this bc it’s just perfect
A tiny place that Was the best refuge in that giant rainstorm we had.
Amazing food and super friendly service! We had the crispy seaweed rolls, yellow curry soup, 2 noodle dishes, and my 7-year-old got a cheeseburger! Everything was super fresh and very flavorful. It was so exciting to see the whole menu was vegan, but really I think even carnivores would find something to enjoy.

Veggie House is my go-to place for vegan thai! I can't stress how delicious their curries are. I recommend the soups, curries, and vegan chicken dishes over the noodle dishes. But 10/10, very consistent and tasty!
Amazing vegeterian food and excellent service!!!
Great Vegan just outside Universal Studios. Stopped on a whim to wait out traffic. Great food well cooked
This is one of the rare few places in LA where you can't go wrong with any of their dishes!Their food is delicious, great ingredients and very friendly service.
I ordered the green curry, "chicken" drumsticks and vegetable soup.
Each and every one was so flavorful with great ingredients and plated perfectly!
I will definitely be back and highly recommend! Authentic vegan Thai at its finest.
I have no pics of the food to post because I ate it all. This place is superb- the best vegan or vegan friendly Thai place in America or Thailand. The pad thai, khao suea, dumpling curry appetizer, papaya salad is all fantastic. The thai ice tea is as well. Dining room is small and casual and there are tables outside. Park in the back- the driveway is after the gas station. Staff is also wonderful. Chill out and enjoy!
Amazing little place. Great food. Friendly staff. Parking can be difficult. Will come back.
So good!
Great vegan food, loved it !!
Delicious every time! Vegan everything ❣️
Fantastisk hyggeligt sted! Maden er vegansk og de kan tage hensyn til gluten allergi. Maden var frisk og lækker.
Top notch low key digs, bangin' Thai food, and a myriad of healthy options.
Big rec: spicy mint noodles
Healthy food that has great thai flavors
A cosy small seating restaurant, with fabulous food.

Their crispy seaweed rolls are to die for!! The crispy soy chicken sandwich was delicious as well, loaded up with crunchy, fresh lettuce.
I loved the dumpling curry as well, and you can never go wrong with fresh, steamed white rice.
If you’re someone like me and likes a lot of salt on their fries, you may not like the fries here. But they’re still fresh, not soggy and the portion is perfect.
This is one of the only vegan restaurants that actually has truly delicious food all across the board.
Best Thai food ever! On top of that it was all vegan. Suggest to get to-go. We loved the basil fried rice
So yummy! Incredible to eat such great vegan food. Great location, 3 minutes from Universal Studios!
Delicious vegan thai food, located right next to Universal Studios, and for a great price! You gotta come here
Best vegan chicken
Yummy and appropriate portion. Lunch special price is delightful, I will try pumpkin curry next time. Green curry is creamy and full of veggies
Very good
Amazing food and service 😋
Recommended by a friend. Great little place for a cozy lunch or dinner
really good vegetarian food. i'm gonna come again for lunch next week
Love the outside area food is amazing🌷 Nice & Simple
Good food, nice friendly people and authentic food
This place is awesome!! The food is delicious and the staff is extremely kind. Cute little place to dine in also despite its somewhat strange location. Highly recommend for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
Everything was delicious, and so nice knowing I could order anything on the menu knowing it was vegan.
Couldn’t even take photos because I devoured the food in seconds. I got the tofu satay, crispy seaweed rolls and Tom yum noodle soup. All were hits, especially the crispy seaweed rolls. The Thai iced tea is a must.
This place is INCREDIBLE!!! Every single dish was packed with flavor and deliciousness. We came here and I didn't know what to expect. This place is absolutely amazing! We sampled so much of the menu (we were a big group) and there was not one thing we did not enjoy! The dessert was absolutely amazing too! Like I said, there was not one we didn't enjoy here! Everything was amazing!
Low key place but food is amazing, definitely recommend the Tom Yuh Noodle soup. Have to park in the back though
Crispy seaweed rolls are delicious!
Very fresh, fast, tasty, healthy. What more to ask. This is a Thai restaurant in disguise. A very good one.
Avocado curry 🍛 🤌
Good and reasonably priced vegan food. I liked the Portobello Burger.
Great food. Great service. Will definitely come back.
Delicious hole in the wall spot
The food was really great! We loved the green curry, and the pumpkin curry was also pretty good. The tofu satay with peanut sauce was delicious too! Can’t wait to eat here again.
Dude this place is super good. They don't have any meat there at all, I love eating meat. But I loved this place. We ate there two nights in a row. Not a very big indoor dining but they have four or five tables. Super friendly people.
One of the best thai vegetarian places I've had food from and I'm not a vegetarian. Order regularly from there. Recommend the Khao Soi and protein salad. There's a small parking lot in the back for those who want to dine there. Cute outside eating area on the side.
Unpretentious, a hidden gem. We had the fresh coconut, the lychee ice tea, the yellow curry and the eggplant. All amazing.
Great food !
We had the Pad Thai and Tom Yum.
5 out of 5!
Very Delicious food. The orange chicken dish is amazing!
It is a family run restaurant located close to Universal city. Its been our togo dine in place and consistently offering the best thai flavor. Our absolute favorite dishes are spicy mint noodles, pad thai, seeweed role and tom kha soup. Food is made of fresh ingredients with unique taste.
Its one of the best vegan restaurant in LA city with a perfectly delightful experience. Highly highly recommended
We went there at almost closing time, still we got nice welcome and the food was very delicious. Really good option for vegan !
Excellent restaurant with so many vegan options. If you're a vegan then this is a must visit place.
Parking is in the back, enter from Barham and Cahuenga Blvd.
Everything was fresh and delicious, friendly service.
Food was great, very friendly people. Good prices too.
I go here everytime I pass thru LA. Bomb vegan food everything is on point. I will continue to come here!
I love this place! It’s my go to for amazing curry and noodles 🍜 I also love how kind and friendly the staff is and they always are so understanding about food allergies and being careful. This place is amazing!! 10/10
אוכל טבעוני טעים מאוד ושירות ידידותי וטוב.
Se ve delicioso pero bastante demorado para servir
The food was delicious, the server was very kind. The location is hidden, but the dining and space was private and intimate, love the vibe. I'm definitely coming back here 💫!
Bloody delicious. Ordered the orange soy chicken and green curry, fully intending to sample a bit of both then save the remains. No chance. Devoured them both in one sitting. Foooking amazing. Orange soy chicken came with orange sauce on the side. Brilliant. I get to decide how saturated the little buggers are. I ordered the green curry very spicy, fully aware of the downgrade penalty applied to the bland American palate. Very spicy in LA ain't the same as very spicy in Szechuan province. It was good spicy, but not Szechuan spicy, so I added my own pepper to up the experience. But the green curry was creamy and addictive. The veggies and tofu were fresh and properly prepared .
Love this special little shop tucked away in a nook. Will order again regularly.
Amazing little nugget of a vegan Thai place!!! i had the orange chicken and the Thom Kha, both were 💣!!! Very friendly staff!!!
Been going here for years and it’s STILL the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Compliments to the Chef and the wonderful and friendly staff. I will be going here for many more years to come
Love their food! Very affordable price 👌
Food tastes amazing! We loved the fajita wraps and lentil salad. Perfect to take for a lunch stop at Lake Hollywood Park.
There is also parking in the back, which is handy.
Very clean and great food. Love the Orange chicken and the yellow curry soup. Can’t wait to go back. Parking in the back but not easy to find the ally entrance.
Delicious!!!! As a vegan I struggle 😩 sometimes finding vegan places and this is near my work place 👍🏼😸 definitely recommended!!!
The best Vegan food in town! Everything on the menu is great! Vegan Tom Yum soup is always my 1st choice.
Pineapple curry was tangy, fruity and delicious. Wish it was a little thicker but flavor was on point.
We have tasted vegan foods at many places, but the food here tasted so good and felt homely. We ordered Dumplings with yellow curry sauce, pad Thai and hot tea. The dumplings with yellow curry was surprisingly very tasty and the Pad Thai was the best we had ever tried so far. It seemed like a small family owned restaurant and everyone were so sweet and friendly. This place is just a few miles from Hollywood blvd and the cost was also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend everyone to try the food here. Thanks for the great food and a wonderful experience.
Delicious
I have been coming to this place with my family for years and it is always a delight to eat here. Never a complain, 100% recommended, we love it.
LOVE this place, delicious Pad Thai, incredible papaya salad, spring rolls are the best. All the people in there are always so nice. Love you guys thank you for all the great meals :)
Simply the best VEGAN Thai food..!
Best quality Thai food the valley!
so delicious and fresh
For vegans it's good
For my self I like it 🔥
Veggie House is my go to restaurant for fresh delicious quality food.
I have tried many things on the menu and all have been so tasty.
I love the curries, chow mein , grilled dumplings, papaya salad... everything.
Boyfriend is vegetarian, I am not. He brought home food from this place and after tasting some of it, I immediately swore I would come order their orange chicken for myself in the near future. Orange sauce and breading are 10/10 and NOT overly-priced as you would think for healthier non-meat entrees. Cute space, limited parking, worth the trip - will be coming back in the future for more takeout 👍🏼😋
Food is so good and healthy.
My favorite Thai place in the valley! Family owned and run, chock-full of flavor and quality ingredients. Here you get lemongrass, galangal, kefir leaves and other authentic spices swirling with an abundance of fresh veggies and vegan protein. The flavor is so rich you won't miss the meat, I promise!
I dont live in California, but i make it a point to come here every time i visit! So good and great service
Food was super delicious. One of the best vegan foods in LA!
Customer Service is excellent! Definitely recommended. We will go back to try other dishes. Thank you!
Our go-to spot for vegan fare. Everything on the menu is amazing. Service is always phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and get as much as you can afford!
I am SO OBSESSED with Veggie House! The food is excellent and fairly priced, the staff is so sweet, and they have so many options! Plus, when you can dine in, their restaurant is so cute and cozy. I highly recommend the Spicy Mint Noodles!
I remember when i ordered online from them that they gave me the wrong items and didn't even refund me for it. Horrible customer service.
Ate here for late lunch. So cute and friendly. It’s all vegan fusion . I had the papaya salad, Krab wonton and yellow curry. Absolutely outstanding. Bravo !!
Marvelous food and staff!
Excellent vegan food very inexpensive. I had a small tom yum soup which could have been a full meal by itself.
hidden but worth the hunt - great food, lovely service and a fav vegan spot!
Love the place and ambience, the dumpling soup was good.
Great vegan Thai food! The dumplings in curry sauce was a flavorful start to the rest of our meal. Loved every morsel!
This place was amazing! My partner and I shared a Tom Kha soup as appetizer and had the Spicy Mint Noodles and Teriyaki Chicken as well as Thai Pancakes as desserts (Banana in a pancake roll and Coconut Icecream). Everything was just perfect and we will happily come back if we ever make it to L.A. again. Highly recommended.
I live in Wisconsin. And let me tell you. I DREAM ABOUT THE YELLOW CURRY DUMPLINGS 😭 By far the BEST curry I have had in my life. The orange chicken was also amazing! I can’t wait to move out to LA and eat here EVERY DANG DAY!
This place is absolutely amazing. Me and my fiance went there today and had a meal. One of the best tofu dishes i've ever had. Keep up the good work!
Quaint vegan eatery with affordable, tasty options for everybody. The restaurant is very clean and the customer service was outstanding.
Absolutely delicious, every soup and entry we have tasted. Vegan food heaven!
I always order delivery from them and it is the best. Will have to come dine in one day.
We had the Pad Thai noodles, Green Tofu curry, a salad and Chow Mein!!! All was fabulous, a must if you're in the area!!
Small restaurant with great food against great prices, service very friendly --mint spicy chicken amazing! Seen quite a few, definitely one of the best vegan places in town.
Great cozy place. It has a big vegetarian selection.
It had a genuine family owned feel.
Good vegan Thai and Asian food.
Love the place! Amazing food and great service!
Exelent service and also food!!!!
Good place to try vegetarian dishes. Recommend to order tofu dish than meat counter part soy-based meat dish. Pho was good and green curry was very good. Service was very nice.
This place does not accommodate the handicapped. Blantly said "no" to bringing in a wheelchair.
UNBELIEVABLE FOOD GREAT SHRIMP FRIED RICE AND THE CURRY DUMPLINGS ARE TO DIE FOR !!!!!!!
Excellent Thai experience, highly recommended if you are vegan, or not vegan! Very friendly staff, family owned business
The server told me chow mein noodles were made from rice, not wheat. I am in the midst of an allergic reaction that is ruining my night because of this bad information. The dish was also not very good.
Cute and cosy place with amazing food!! Highly recommend.
