My mom loves this place and wanted to share it with me, so we went on Sunday. The food was very tasty. The customer service was also very great and also the place was very clean place when i went . The only thing I had an issue was the parking situation and the heat it was slightly cooler outside than inside. Other than that I great first time experience .......the crispy pork is a must!!!!!!!

I can't wait for the Pico Rivera location to be opened! Parking is not as bad as before. The few times I have been, it's fairly easy. Prices are definitely up this year, but you pay for what you get for. In comparison to Thai Osha Classic restaurant, this would definitely be the cleaner version, not dirty. Food quality is definitely better. The restroom does need improvement. The 2 times I went, there was no hand soap available. Which is obviously a health and safety violation.

Homey comfort food. Portion is nice. Very tasty. The customer service is attentive and friendly. Will come back. Oh and it’s clean too. I’ve been to this place three times. First was by myself. The other two I took my friends. We were amazed with the dishes. The papaya salad is a must try.

We were there yesterday and in 90 degree weather it was hotter inside the restaurant than outside 😖 everybody in there was sweating and the poor employees were also suffering in there. Can’t imagine the cooks in the hot kitchen with no ac 🥺

I personally didn’t eat anything but my family did and they enjoyed their food. My Mother and Father both enjoyed the soup they ordered and my parent’s friend also enjoyed the dish she got. My sister was the only person who didn’t enjoy the soup she got but did like the soup my parent’s got.

La comida extremadamente deliciosa, de todos los lugares que he visitado de comida thai esta es la mejor. Lo unico malo es que desde que llegi una mujer de pelo de colores, ella da muy mala atención, aunque están vacias las mesas, no atiende y cuando attended, lo hace de mala gana. The Waiter was not professional. He did not face me, when answering my quesion. He said that he usually works at the Hollywood location.

The manager Natalie is the rudest person. She attacked me for no reason she looked like she wanted to hit me. Be aware of this manager. I would give 0 to this restaurant. They only do cash because they don’t like paying taxes. They are so fraud. The irs need to check them lots of fraud. And the manager needs to get fired asap. Thanks to her I’m exposing the owner for bad service. Pay your taxes and stop with the lies you make a lot of money in all your 3 restaurants stop lying on your taxes

I work at Kaiser I used to go there almost every week even at home I live in Inglewood I used to drive way over there because the Combination Rice was the best...but today when I went I didn't check until I got home usually put three shrimp in the combination, only 2, no beef, no pork, just little skinny strips of chicken. No green onions, that makes up the combination. Very disappointed! as I've spent $$ over there.. I'll start back going downtown

The first time I went to them I ordered two orders of beef with bell peppers and onions, it was well made, tasty, and seemed like quality fresh ingredients (and the hot spicy sauce served on the side was great too, hot but not too hot). I've had beef with bell pepper and onions from Chinatown Express for example (at Normandie Ave and Beverly Blvd), and that was bad, didn't compare to Vim Thai's restaurant quality, and the Chinatown Express offering costs almost the same. Soon I will try more food offerings from Vim Thai. I've tried all of the Thai places in my neighborhood, and Vim Thai seems to be one of the better ones, though also one of the more expensive. Soon after trying their beef with bell peppers and onions, in late 2020 I went back to them and tried their “BBQ beef with hot sauce” offering, bought two orders. My order tasted good and was cooked good, was not burned. My friend’s plate though had a lot of heavily charred beef pieces, not sure if there were as many as she said, because I didn’t examine everything she had in her plate before she ate, but I did see some heavily charred pieces. Neither of us like it when the beef is too burned, but my carton (this was take-out) didn’t have any heavily charred pieces, only some lightly charred, and that’s fine and to be expected with BBQ. I am interested in trying more from their menu, but I prefer to go to other local Thai restaurants regularly because Vim Thai is more expensive and not as good as Thai Original BBQ at Maplewood and Western.
