Snug, casual eatery offering traditional Thai fare like curry & seafood, plus some Chinese options.
Solid Thai food with great customer service. What it lacks in ambiance they make up for with food quality and service. More of a take out setup, a few tables inside should you care to eat in. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Portions are good value for money. Have enjoyed all the dishes and go often. Two reserved parking spaces in the lot. Highly recommend.
The food is tasty, especially the amber curry, my favorite dish. If you are a vegetarian you can order something like curry with meat on the side instead of in the curry.
Ordered the pineapple fried rice, chicken pad see ew and orange chicken. Taste of all the dishes wasn’t bad at all and prices quite reasonable for the quality and quantity. Servings were very generous. Ordered via uber eats and was still quite fresh by the time the order arrived.
Not the worst pat see ew I have eaten. The flavor was okay, broccoli needed to be cooked more, the beef was overcooked, dry, and lacked flavor, making it feel like I was eating two different dishes. The noodle had decent flavor, but it was chopped up into 1-2 inch pieces, so it did not feel like eating noodle, but some sort of flat flab. You can see in the picture the doodle looking like someone took scissors to it. I asked the staff and the explanation was it's because the noodles are frozen so they break up when being cooked. Price was okay at $14 so overall just barely average.

I was their customer for 6 years and the food was so delicious and good. My favorite dish was Pad Thai. But yesterday I got an absolutely disgusting, small and old pad thai from this restaurant.
The pad thai was stuck together in one piece. I ordered beef and they put 5 small pieces of meat. The vegetables were not freshly chopped, it was definitely an old and dry dish. The size was smaller than usual, half! I have been ordering pad thai from you for 6 years and it has looked and tastes the same all these years. This was my last order from you!
I can only speak to the delivery but this restaurant clearly does not care for their customers. I ordered a Tom Kha soup which was supposed to include chicken and there was none. The rice was okay at least. The lamb was mediocre. They did not include any utensils even when specified. Overall disappointing experience
Both Google and their answering machine says they're open till 9:00. Wasting my time.
Thai food not expensive
The food was really good and flavorful, I highly recommend the sweet sauce they keep on the table it really brings the food to another level! The staff was friendly.
Amazing food, great friendly service first stop when we come back to LA from Australia.

I went here years ago, and it was amazing then. I had to save it for whenever I came back to this area. I went here again today, still amazing! The people are kind and accommodating to all their customers. It's defini
Lovely lunch here, the space is pretty small so if you have a big group I would call ahead. Everything had lots of good flavor and spice! The staff member my friend and I interacted with was really nice and helpful! She had the Pad Thai and I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodle) then we split the Army of Veggie, portion sizes were great, entrees are big enough for 2 people to share.
If you aren't a fan of spicy food I would recommend asking that the spice level on the Pad Kee Mow be knocked down but if you love spicy food it is perfect.
A bonus was mentioning that I needed to make sure everything was gluten free as I have celiacs and the gentlemen said that all the sauces they make and use are gluten free to start so nothing needed to be modified! I didn't experience any kind of reaction afterwards and I can usually tell within 20 minutes or so!!
They do tangy-savoury better than anywhere else at this price point.
Found a roach in my food.
Amazing food!!
Leckeres Essen und frisch. Preise angemessen und groß. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir durften draußen essen (Personal hat extra einen Tisch für uns rausgetragen).
We found this gem randomly when we were desperately looking for a place to eat and couldnt have been happier. The owner welcomed us friendly and then gave us the most caring and authentic dining experience we’ve had since being in Thailand. The food was amazing, cheap compared to most other places in LA, and well portioned. The service was incredible. The owner chatted with us, gave us free Thai Iced Tea and even PROMISED TO GIVE US A DINNER ON THE HOUSE before our return flight to Germany next week. You just don’t see this type of stuff often. Do yourself a favor and visit this nice man and his authentic, hole in the wall piece of Thailand in the middle of LA!
place is small, but had good customer service, and truly the best pad thai i’ve ever had. 👍🏻
Absolutely wonderful thai food. We had shrimp pad-thai, which was perfectly seasoned with plenty of shrimp. We also had the Jade(green) curry with chicken, which was rich in flavor and texture. The location is very small but worth the visit. And DO NOT SKIP THE DRINKS, THEY ARE A MUST!! Thai iced tea was good but the standout was the iced matcha green tea, definitely a must try.
The pad see ew is very flavorful, I will be back!
I have been looking for a genuinely crafted green milk tea (not made from powder) since my trip to Thailand seven years ago. I have finally found it at King’s!
Their green milk tea is so authentic and delicious. You even can see bits of green tea leaves in the drink. Amazing, took me right back to my days in Thailand

This food=great!
Very nice restaurant.
It was very nice that a wonderful owner with a lot of experience served us!
Made my day. Delicious Queen Roll (rice paper wrapped fresh greens) and Prik Khing (curry green beans) :D
Pineapple fried rice was sooooo delicious 🍍

The Pad-Thai is amazing! Mango Sticky Rice is a must! Great all around!
I Never write bad reviews or give bad rating but this one i had to… being vegetarian thai food is great option but my drunken noodles had some weird taste and bet it felt like meat .. never had meat but some terrible taste was there 🤢🤢 and then my stomach started acting up… 🤢 they need to work on the quality for sure. I have had thai food from many restaurants in Hollywood but this was the only bad experience ☹️☹️☹️
Had the Pad Thai an was pleasantly not disappointed!! Loved the authentic and nutty taste of the Pad Thai
Small but punching above it's level. Nice neighborhood Thai food, extensive Pan-Asian menu. Only caveat is no beer.
Not very organized and confusing to order from. Be forewarned if you order curry it does not come with rice
Very tasty real Thai food favor 😋, the chef uses fresh ingredients, I love all Thai food here! All curry, must order 👌
Very delicious food.
Ordered delivery from King's Thai Food twice. Both times were good. The first time my order was Tom Yum Soup and Salmon salad. The second was Seafood. The food was really good. Big size for their price. I'll order this food again.
Absolutely one of the best Thai places I have ever had. Everything tastes so authentic and the portions are pretty big. Definitely won’t be disappointed. This place is a gem.
KILLER Pad Thai! We love the people who work there!
This is my secret hole in the wall. :3 I love this place so much. I can't say enough great things about this place. Don't sleep and give the lady your money.
I go there for the Pai Thai special and every time it is excellent. I then follow it up with the green tea ice cream. Then when I'm presented the bill I am pleased at how inexpensive it really is. The employees are also very nice.
How can you be closed from 3pm-5pm, which are peak lunch hours? Come on man, take your business seriously.
Delicious!!!
SERIOUSLY the best thai food I have ever had in Hollywood!!! I can't say much about guest services because we have only gotten delivery but the drivers are always super friendly and smiling, which is great!
Food:
We usually get pad Thai shrimp, extra saucy and panang curry with shrimp or with shrimp and crab. The seafood are always a good size. Let me tell you, they are definitely not greedy with giving extra anything! The pad Thai is drenched in extra sauce and the noddles don't dry up if you decide to eat it later in the day. This dish has an equal amount of tanginess, sweetness and spice. Made to perfection! The panang curry is delightful and the consistency is nice and thick. Flavor wise, it's creamy with hints of lemon grass and kafier lime-leaf. Amazing!!!
Anyone who lives in the Hollywood area or not - this place is a MUST TRY. I would recommend to all my friends and family. :)
I sure wish Shandong was in my neighborhood...but it was worth a BART ride to King's Thai Food to experience. So much deliciousness! We had the sesame noodles, green beans, King's Thai Food dumplings and a few other things...I'd love to go back weekly to give everything a try.
Food was delicious
Chill, mint leaves chicken is mmpphhh yummy
Horrible worst Thai food I have ever ate, and will eat!
Fantastic, the food variety and taste was amazing.
Good food
LOVE THIS PLACE
Usual thai fare, with all the great flavors you can expect. Prices very reasonable, and good all-day special deals
Great fried rice and friendly service. Was a great find.
great authentic thai food
Very very small place you have to eat in front of the cashier and nasty food prepared from day before
Delicious little find in Hollywood. Food was hot, fresh and not greasy. Doesn't look fancy but we were pleasantly surprised.
Great food, good price
Incroyable ! Bon rapport qualité prix, et très bon!
This review is about delivery only. I should have checked out their reviews on Eat24 and Yelp beforehand. It was my fault, but people need to know.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ORDER from these people EVER!
Placed order at 7.49, was promised delivery between 8.55 and 9.05. At 9.22 I called the restaurant and my food had not left yet. I was told it was ready and the next going out.
At 9.55 I contacted Eat24, as it was getting ridiculously late. They contacted the restaurant. In the meantime, my food arrived at 10.11 pm (2 hours and 22 minutes after I placed it). I wanted a full refund. Restaurant only approved 10% or if I wanted a full refund they would take back the food! Are you f...ing kidding?? I was hungry, I needed to eat! You would take the food back? Are you out of your f..ing mind???
I run a restaurant myself and we're on Eat24. This would never happen to us, but if it did we would have no problem refunding the customer their order. 2 hours and 22 minutes is UNHEARD OF!!! Judging from the temperature of the dishes, my food hasn't even been made at 9.22 when I called the restaurant. So, they lied, as well.
These people have no understanding of customer service whatsoever. Had they refunded me fully, I would have given them another chance and ordered again. NOT this way! So, if you want to save yourself from a headache and an empty stomach, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!
This place needs to go out of business ASAP!!!
Had I seen the photos on Yelp, I would have never ordered from them. I would definitely not set foot in the place itself.
No wonder they have a B on their door.
Ordered through Eat24, food was 1.5 hours late. Wasn't worth the wait, not tasty. Won't be ordering from here again
Great Tai food, small place Hollywood
Food is really good great customer service
Ordered for delivery, was told to expect order in 45 min. Over an hour later called and was told I'd have to wait another hour or more, that they hadn't even started preparing the food yet... Very rude, she hung up the phone on us twice.
I think this is a truly decent and shabby place to eat. I like their nourishment and the general population are well disposed. Try not to trust the terrible audits here, everybody has an awful day, so what.
I love King Tai. Great food at a reasonable price. It's a bit small, but totally worth stopping by
Unexpected size of portion...delicious....
Found this place a few weeks ago and have already eaten here/had it delivered several times. Beef salad is phenomenal, and the Thai egg rolls and satay apps are amazing. Curry and noodle dishes are fairly standard but the prices are fantastic and the food is always crazy hot and fresh. They always cater to specific spice levels and are sooo friendly. Me and the delivery guy are like family now.
I can't believe this place is around the corner. The owner is amazing, Michael the waiter is super attentive and the vibes are relaxed but fun. The food is really good and the drinks are delicious!
It was good.
Good food, Good prices: you can have lunch for under $10.
The service was great. Fast. The food was gross. Sweet and Sour Tofu = Raw Tofu, Bamboo, Onions and what tasted like Barbecue sauce on the side. It was the laziest version of the dish I have ever tasted and I was furious that they charged me $9 for it. I felt sick after eating it. Hands down the worst Thai food I've ever had. I won't be ordering from there again.
honey duck all day. great people. love these guys
Food good friendly.people. live OK
I think this is a pretty good and cheap place to eat. I like their food and the people are friendly. Don't believe the bad reviews here, everyone has a bad day, so what.
